First time flying WestJet airlines and it was a wonderful experience!
It was ok. Jet was ok but it lacked many convinces we have experienced on other airlines such as in seat entertainment. Space seamed more compact than other airlines. They did not provide the gate to gate assistance we arranged for for our mom who needed a wheel chair.
For some reason pretty much all zones were called almost one after the other and we all ended up standing without moving for what seemed like a long time. Definitely not WestJet’s fault. Likely the guys in hiviz vests at boarding desk. The big problem was zero explanation. If there is a good reason for something people will understand. As a consequence of this delay flight was quite late leaving. Zero entertainment on board. I’m a Rewards member but was unable to connect to the Wifi. First world problems, I know. Flight was otherwise excellent.
The crew was excellent. The turbulence was very bad and they were unable to serve our dinner. The captain informed the passengers that we were going to get water and snack instead. They provided us ample snacks instead. Otherwise the trip was good.

Plane seating was uncomfortable, very tight fitting for someone my height, did not recline and overall un enjoyable
No communication from Kayak or West Jet. Booked extra flights, flights cancelled, no one answers calls. Will be disputing charges.
more room between seats. will check out other airlines. uncomfortable - knees crammed against seat ahead
Flights were great. Food was great. More information about the requirements for plane transfer in Canada would have been helpful. I almost missed it.
We were informed of an impending mechanics and technologists strike between June 18-20 with the potential to delay or cancel flights. This put an enormous amount of stress on us as our flights from Phoenix-Calgary-Vancouver were a precedent to our cruise leaving Vancouver on June 21. The first leg of our flight had no WestJet Connect. Both planes were model 737-700 . There was no room under the seats for typical personal items as a plastic housing for flotation devices prevented stowage. Center seat had a large power supply (thinking USB retrofit) that consumed 1/3 of the area for your feet. No beverage service Calgary to Vancouver. Never flying WestJet ever again.
The plane was very cramped and no room to move. Other passengers brought suitcases that didn't fit in the overhead bins. This made boarding and departing extremely slow.
everything was fine. but paying for 1 piece of check-in luggage and denying passengers to board with carry-on luggage which by air line's standards does not fit is not acceptable. when one travels for a longer time one needs to have some essentials
Over 40 years ago my AC return flight was canceled, during this last summer the same thing happened. AC denied everything Canadian like paying for accommodations and basic necessities. So why would I ever want to fly AC again? This last flight my wife took the return flight had problems and left late, so I guess they are getting better. However I have no faith in this airline so I drove to this last destination! I'll never fly AC again!!!
Old, noisy plane, bad coffee, delayed. Flight attendant was very nice.
My flight was cancelled. The flight they booked me on was delayed over 2 hours with mechanical problems so I missed my connection and they ran out of hotel rooms, so I had to book and pay for it on my own. I also had to pay for food out of pocket. It was a terrible experience.
Was surprised the plane was a turbo prop. These are much noisier than jet planes.
Plus; Easy check in. Organized and efficient crew. Minus; Legroom on plane. Wiped down armrests and tray table with a Clorox wipe and wipe showed more dirt than I thought was there.
An hour and a half late. Seats as always ridiculously cramped. Beverage options limited. Stale pretzels. The usual…
We had a significant illness at the last minute. Air Canada was unsympathetic and rude and refused to give us any credit on our unused ticket.
Ran wonderfully and smoothly roundtrip. Could not have asked for more from the staff.
