So I had to buy a stupid expensive last minute ticket on Delta (Frontier doesn't work with other airlines, to rebook flights or even find your luggage) then drive two hours from the airport to see my family for the holidays.. Then take a 2 hour trip back to the airport the next day to pick up my luggage, which Frontier wouldn't deliver to me because I "voluntarily separated" from them. I suppose that's technically true, but I think there's an argument there that Frontier's complete lack of competency forced to me do it."

Cons: "The ticket appears nice and cheap. but it isnt. they charge you 55 dollars for a checked bag, another 55 dollars for a CARRY ON bag, AND their weight limit is 40 LBS instead of 50LBS, so if you have a normal checked bag it's actually going to be almost 100 dollars. If they could have I am sure they would have charged me 25 dollars for a seat-belt and charged me 10 dollars for using the airplanes bathroom. They are the epitome of money grubbing cheapskates. this is not to mention the seats being at least 4 inches closer together than any other plane I have ever been on. crammed in their like sardines. Spirit airlines is a complete pile of $hit and I will never be flying with them again."

Cons: "Regular traveler out of Atlanta. Purchased one way ticket to New Orleans. Unable to check in (24 hours in advance, same day, etc.) from phone or computer. Unable to check in at Kisl at airport. Taken by agent to try kiosk again - unsuccessfully. When finally taken to in person agent, unable to print boarding pass because flight now leaving too soon! No refund - NO KIDDING! Took every initiative and step possible and completely lost the trip and all ticket cost! WTF??!!"
Cons: "Every thing was a mess. They cancelled the flight. Didn't want to answer any question. Made everyone go bk all the way to the front ticketing and I had to go Thur tsa 3 damn times. Then they took my money for my baggage and still haven't received my money back. Once we made it to the front to rebook they told me I would have to wait until the next day."

Cons: "$55 to carry a bag onto the plane? A low fare followed by a $55 carry-on is classic bait-and-switch. I guess you pay a $5 fee to skip baggage claim, because it is "only" $50 to check a bag. And when I checked in, I said to the Spirit rep at the machine that my boarding pass did not have the TSA Pre mark. Oh, she said, go to the counter and have it added. Great confusion ensued until someone rather sheepishly said, "Um, we don't participate in TSA Pre at this time." Never again!"
Pros: "All of the staff was very stylish. I liked that the flight was cheap"
Cons: "Could not check my bags anywhere except the gate, and it cost more than the flight did, they would not accept cash from me to check my bags until a man had a hissy fit. I wasn't allowed to actually check my heavy bag, was made to carry it on, which was over whelming and hurt my back, really annoying and stressful. Felt ignored because I was a woman. Felt annoyed that they gave me a hard time about paying them cash. No where on the website does it say credit cards only. Also the seats were small and did not recline. On my return trip they changed the gate 2 mins before boarding and I had to run to catch the flight. I would not recommend."

Pros: "The price of the flight was amazing! The plane was clean and appeared to be fairly new (wasn't expecting that)! All the crew was nice and check in/boarding was excellent and so fast!"
Cons: "I did pay for priority seating and ended up with a middle seat which was so uncomfortable! The lady next to me ended up moving since it wasn't a completely sold out flight to give our row a little more room! Didn't realize everything has a cost but your seat! But I guess that's why the prices are cheap!"

Cons: "Very small. Aisles were wider than a normal plane, and seats smaller. Very uncomfortable. I'm a very small person, and I can't imagine how uncomfortable others were. Flight attendants were not impolite, but not welcoming. I definitely got the impression they hated their jobs and dealing with people (which is pretty much their job...). I'm normally a pretty frugal person, but in the future I will not have a problem paying more for a ticket on another airline."
Cons: "I have traveled around the world as an auditor. I am no rookie to the game. I laughed when they informed me my carry on was $54 since my flight was purchased for $45 (one way to New Orleans). I was in the boarding area 1 hour prior to loading (Not fully paying attention). I was standing 30 feet from the gate 20 minutes before boarding time (paying full attention) and did not realize they had already loaded the plane. They said they called my name 3 times which means I couldn't /didn't hear them. My bags left without me. I ended up buying a ticket on delta because I had to link up with my family for a reunion. This was one of the most memorable crappy experiences of my adult life."
