The time the plane drives/parks at the gate, you get off the plane and make it through customs, get your bag, recheck it (if need be, we didn't this time though), get through security and get to your gate, you'll be the luckiest person in the world to do that in less than 90 minutes."

Had there been something expensive in there it would have been totally destroyed. He really couldn't have cared less about our bags and their contents. We were talking to a woman on the plane who was telling us that a woman a few rows behind who had a new born baby as was told she would be given a seat with extra legroom had this taken away from her to United could sell the seat to someone paying for it. The chicken and orzo dinner was absolutely revolting. The orzo was so over cooked that it just turned to mush and the chicken really didn't taste like it had ever seen a chicken. All this combined with the issues we had on our flight out show that United are scum and just see you as ££. Sorry I cant be more complementary than that, its just the truth."

Airlines are now charging to put luggage in the overhead compartment. Same carry-on luggage you'd bring with you on any other airline for free, apparently not on Frontier. $30 for a backpack, wow. Apparently Frontier also claims 'we don't participate in TSA Pre-Check', meaning it's great if you have TSA Pre-check, but given Frontier doesn't 'participate' in this program even if the consumer has paid the $100 and cleared to checks to use this program (which is awesome), if you fly Frontier, you can't use it, they won't put the 'TSA Pre-Check' denotation on your boarding pass. Huh? I get companies like this shooting for operational efficiency, scaling lean, profit maximization et al, however this airline feels like a total money suck from top to bottom. 'We have snacks available for purchase'! Of course you do Frontier, of course you do."

Cons: "Flight was delayed 2.5 hours due to weather near Boston. Spirit has two gates in the terminal that are completely separate from other airlines. The gate area is small with limited amenities. Security access is only for Spirit, so the line is not long and moved quickly. There is only one food vendor, a COSI Express with all prepackaged food. The wifi was down so no credit cards were accepted. Had to go out to get cash and return via security. Was told by vendor that credit cards normally work. If the area was connected to other secure gate areas, passengers would have choice and freedom to move around. Flights were delayed for weather. My plane arrived from Cleveland two hours before it pulled up to the gate. Because Spirit only has two gates, every flight was delayed with cumulative delays increasing with each flight. By the time I boarded my flight at 11 PM, we were over 2 hours late. As passengers settled in, we were told by the pilot that a new flight plan was being requested to route around turbulent weather. Why wasn't this being done when the pilot first got on the plane? More delays. Finally arrived in Baltimore over three hours from planned arrival. Spirit did not even offer a complimentary soft drink. My strong recommendation to anyone is to avoid Spirit from Boston until they fix their gate situation. I believe they just moved to this part of the terminal. Someone sure was not thinking about what could go wrong."

I know others may find it amusing and I understand the need for finding distractions from routine, but it can distract from useful information, especially during boarding. NOTE: some people do funny by nature, but it is not a universal talent. When it's natural, it's a great good, but if not..... Spirit also requires a constant sales pitch for their credit card at the end of every flight that becomes irritating and I'm sure is not pleasant for the crew, either."

The lady at the gate said not to worry, we weren't even getting off of this plane. 10 MINUTES BEFORE BOARDING, I'm told that I'm going to miss my connecting flight and that my options were to either sleep over at Vegas or fly out the next day. I decided to fly out the next day, getting to my destination at noon. Got home, looked up the flight that the man at the kiosk booked me, AND IT WAS GETTING IN AT 11PM THE NEXT NIGHT. I called Spirit, infuriated that the rep literally lied to me, and asked to speak with a manager. I was told that a manager would have to call me back (WHAT?). I have yet to receive a phone call. I will never, EVER, EVER, fly Spirit airlines ever again."
