Cons: "I'm tired of being crammed into small and uncomfortable seats. It seems comfort is only for people who can afford it. Headrests were non-existent. I'm not extraordinarily tall but the seat stopped just above my neck and felt like a hard, sharp surface rather than something soft and padded. And, of course, there's not enough leg room. Especially once the person in front of you leans back. I don't mean to sound petty but it felt like the airline was more worried about maximizing profits at the expense of their guest's comfort."

Really - take off a paid bag but bring people who try to stuff too many bags in the plane and get to send theirs free. I live over 4 hours from airport and was told my suitcase was in Seattle and would not be here until next morning and airlines would call to confirm. No one called, no one answer the message I left. Didn't reach anyone until the next day and was told my suitcase didn't come in until another day later and they it was Fedexed to me. I was not happy as I had Christmas gifts that I had traveled with. Lack of communication by airline, lack of customer service. Still waiting for a "voucher" for future travel - they are supposed to email me with that info. Not yet."

The family next to me was nice enough but they did have a toddler who was very loud and unhappy and the tantrums followed. I have been a server for 14 years and generally can brush annoyances off like this but this was by far the worst flight I have been on."

After not sleeping for multiple nights due to my situation I did not arrive into DC till 1am and had to drive multiple hours home in the middle of the night which was a major safety hazard. Frontier did not offer to compensate a hotel or anything for the inconvenice. Extremely disappointed in the horrendous service provided by the airline in this nightmare scenario"

Pros: "Even with very rainy weather in Austin, flight left on time. Crew was very nice on both our flights. Plane was clean. Comfortable enough--about what to expect in this day and age."
Cons: "A lot of fees with Frontier flights. Wny not just include in the original fare of the flight?"
Cons: "HIDDEN. FEES. They charge you at least $17 at check-in to select ANY seat, and another $40 for a carry-on. The tray tables were (no joke) 4 inches by 8 inches, and barely fit a soda can, cup of ice, and snack. Seats were also hard as rock."

Pros: "Flight was on time. The flight crew was very nice. The pilots handled the little bit of turbulence we had, wonderfully. Over all, a great experience."

Cons: "They cancelled my flight the night before, their website gave confusing information (some places said it was on time, some said cancelled), and I was on hold for SEVEN HOURS!!!!! They never actually answered the phone. Guess what? I went to the airport in person, and nobody was at the Frontier counter for 3 hours. When someone finally showed up, THEY TOLD ME TO CALL THE NUMBER I WAS ALREADY ON HOLD WITH! I told him I'd been awake the entire night trying to solve this issue. SCREW IT! In the end, I went with Delta, costing me $441 more dollars on top of what Frontier stole! Delta was fantastic, the guy who booked me was hilarious and helpful, and I'm never messing with this 3rd party nonsense again unless I get a full refund."
Cons: "All frontier cares about is nickle and diming their customers. The flight was not too much less than any of the other airlines, but I should've done reviews before choosing them. They charge you $20 for your seat on top of your fare when you try to check in 24 hours early. They charge more for a carry on than a checked bag. They do not provide anything complimentary during the flight. Drinks are $2. Overall, I spent just as much as I would've with Southwest of American, but I felt ripped off and unappreciated. If you want a loyal customer base, Fronteir, I suggest you change your flight policies. This is 2016 and customer service is everything."
Pros: "I was fortunate enough to sit next to two passengers who calmed me down during the plane ride."
Cons: "The staff were aloof and slightly unprofessional. They did not seem to be very confident about the flight, which made me worried and concerned about my experience. They rushed through standard procedures and were not very comforting to passengers. I have never flown by myself before, so my anxiety levels were high and I was extremely nervous the whole time. I wish that they would have been a little more easy-going with nervous passengers, such as myself, because I left the flight shaking."

Flight attendants were good at their job, but could not be both polite and stern (as in, please sit down while the plane is still climbing, or even a "Pay attention, please!" said during the emergency evacuation procedure discussion.)"
Cons: "Charged me for CARRY-ON luggage at gate. First off , this is absurd. It reminded me why I fly with proper airlines. Second, this should have been made clear at time of booking so I realized how much the flight would ACTUALLY cost and book with a more comfortable and professional airline. The seats are awful and don't recline."

Cons: "The seat itself was not very comfortable. Also, a member of the crew was either not masking her disdain for her fellow crew members very well, or has a wicked case of resting-bitch-face, it was kind of off putting."

Cons: "Plane had a bad part and instead of rerouting another plane or bringing part by special courier they waited for 12 hours for a part. If the CEO or the head of maintenance had been on that flight they would have made accommodations in an hour, not 15. No attempt to get us on the five other flights heading to Atlanta that morning. To add insult to injury Frontier offered a $100 credit for another flight within only 90 days. With bags being $35 each way and picking a seat another $15, that means I get my baggage free only. NEVERMORE."
Pros: "The plane was clean, the staff on flught was professional but I already knew I would have to pay for a carry on so opted not to take one. Stepped on board with a bag to go under a seat which was the only saving grace for a flight with this airline. A reasonable price if you aren't taking much."
Cons: "After the flight I looked at my credit card statement and noticed a LARGE, unexplained charge. (When I say large I mean 4x the price of the original ticket). Turned out that when I checked in they decided I needed my full middle name because the initial wasn't enough, even though that's all they originally asked for. Then they automatically charged me for the change without notifying me! Reported it to my credit card company as fraud until I found out what happened. They ended up refunding the charge, admitting they shouldn't have charged it in the first place, but what a hassle! Not an airline for passengers who care about their money."
Cons: "Didn't make flight because online boarding pass would not scan, and there was no crew at ticketing counter to assist. I was told by TSA, and not the airline, that the same crew at the ticketing corner moved to the gate to board people 45 minutes before flight. Because I was there 40 minutes before flight, I got zero customer service. This was my first and last time flying Frontier! I wish zero stars was an option."
Cons: "The flight crew prior to getying on the plane were rude and outlandish. They have no tact and were not respectful to travelers. You have to payfor what others consider complimentary services. In addition, the flight was delayed with no explanation. I will not be flying frontier again."

Cons: "Both destination and returning flights were delayed. I knew about the carry on and checked baggage fees, but it was still a bit of a hassle. Make sure you pay during booking to get the best prices. I did NOT know all drinks and snacks were an extra charge. If you know all this ahead of time and don't have a time schedule, it is a great, inexpensive company"
Pros: "Can't believe I was charged $45 for a carry on bag each way. Soda and coffee starts at $1.99. Was not informed byKayak and priceline that these fees would be in place. The only good thing is this is a nonstop flight Austin to Las Vegas that on united and American has layovers."

Cons: "Frontier offers a deal upfront on your ticket price, but does not tell you that the only baggage you are allowed to carry on free is one personal belonging, like a purse. At the counter, they then charge $50 for a small carry-on suitcase( ONE WAY!), or $40 one way if you let them check it on, adding an extra $100 to the price of your ticket, making other major airlines ticket prices more desirable! Then, on board, you find very narrow seats that don't even recline at all, and they offer you nothing on the flight - NOTHING AT ALL, unless you pay for it!!! Then to top off their deceptive treatment of their passengers, their on-line web site encourages you to choose your own seat on the plane, never telling you that you'll be charged each way for that personal choice! If you are able to figure out this trick and continue on to where you allow them to randomly assign you to a seat ( usually such seats are the worst ones on the plane: the dreaded middle seat) you will not be charged! I hate underhanded, sneaky deception and poor service like that and I will NEVER fly Frontier Airlines again!!! There's no way I will encourage greedy dishonest behavior like that and I'll tell all my friends and family members about my experience!!! I hope they rot in hell!"
Cons: "Everything..... To begin with I didn't even get to go on the flight I was scheduled for because I got there and when I went to print my tickets.... It was impossible to because it advised me to see the counter person... Well there was no one at the counter so I proceeded to the office... No one was at the office! I ended up missing my flight and losing my money... It seemed like some sort of scam ... Basically a loop you could not get out of and no one es there to help.. Worst experience!"

The flight was delayed 6hours in which initially it was due to fog, then no plane available as all.other airlines departed, and there was no representative available during the entire process for Q & A. I had to take another in order to arrive in ATL for a business meeting which I missed."

Cons: "After you add in all of the extras like paying for your seat and carry on baggage, the price isn't as attractive as represented. It was a topic of discussion on the flight when we finally got off the ground. There were 5 gate attendants working the flight that had no earthly idea what was going on and when they did find find out they wouldn't share the information. Overall not a good experience. I can't see a situation where I would fly Fronteer again."
Pros: "Getting off the plane. It was a moment to celebrate- my last Frontier flight ever."
Cons: "The charge for carrying ON a bag. Being told plane was at gate, but couldn't leave at 7a as sched because pilots needed rest. Then being told at 10a that plane was in Houston. Then ultimately leaving at around 11a."

Not having another Frontier option until Monday Being asked repeatedly on a call if I'd like to cancel my flight. You cancelled my flight. Give me half my money back."

Cons: "I arrived for my 6:10 flight at 5:00 traveling for a one day engagement with zero pieces of luggage and one well traveled companion again no luggage. The counter said it would close at 5:25. Odd that a flight was scheduled to take off while the counter was closed but I had no fears I was well within the open hours. I waited for an associate until 5:30 then tried the automated kiosk. It said see an attendant. Back to the empty counter. Called the suggested 800 on the same sign and am accused of lying about my arrival time to the counter and informed I can get the next flight in 13 hours for twice the cost of the round price tickets. Supervisor Maggie got me on the flight at my reserved rate and adjusted my return flight but I was still out the hotel both in Denver and having to pay another night in Austin."

Cons: "They tricked me into paying a seating fee when I was checking in online by having to select the seat. They also charge a $40 per carry on. The boarding was done horrible, they called zones with only a minute in between so there was people from all areas boarding at the same time. The seats were the most horrible, didnt recline, and were hard plastic with no cushioning. No peanuts or drinks offered."

I simply wont fly an airline that feels like a bait and switch used car sales tecniques when I fly. I am willing to.pay more to have simple luxuries like a seat that leans back. Very unorganized system of boarding...."
Cons: "I had a boarding pass on my phone, but when I got to security it wouldn't scan and they sent me back to get a hard copy. Almost missed my flight because of this. I was also unaware that Frontier charges $30 per carry-on per flight. I've never seen that with any other airline."
