Find cheap flights from Austin to Kelowna

Would not let us check in our luggage. Flight was 40 minutes late, so we really did have time to check in our luggage. Could not get on another flight even for the next day, calling the Alaska service numbers provided, it stated the average wait time to speak to anyone on the phone was 8 HOURS! Alaska would not refund our tix. Never again!!!!!

Morbidly obese dude took half my seat. Sore shoulders back from being squeezed. Shame on the airline for not making this guy purchase two seats

I had a medical incident on the flight. The crew was very responsive and kind, making the situation as "good" as possible. (I believe they were overly cautious, but it's understandable.) My only complaint is that the seats are too small. I was so cramped for so many hours, that it exacerbated my medical incident. I will probably not be able to fly in coach anymore, and cannot afford otherwise, so it looks like flying is a thing of the past for me.

Attentive, caring. Loved the communication in the app even before boarding and while on plane from pilots.

The flight was on time and got in early which allowed us to get to our next flight.

Flight attendants made this flight wonderful. They made sure everyone had what they needed and anticipated future needs. They made adjustments as needed. It was clear this was an experienced crew.

All went well, right on time, easy boarding. We ordered the evergreens grain bowl and were surprised and pleased how adequate it was for vegan lunch! Landing was smooth and gate exit was easy

Second flight in a row that I've been on where the auto bag counter stopped working and they had to manually count cargo before takeoff. Also second flight where my whole fruit and cheese plate looked pretty stale/old. The grapes were very strange tasting to the point where I didn't eat them. Apple slices were just sad/gross looking so also avoided those.

Great airline attendants. However I could not get the entertainment to work on the app

No issues at all other than the seats. Of all the airlines I've flown on in my life (this was my first with Alaska Airlines), these were significantly the most uncomfortable seats I've had - more so than Spirit Airlines. I'm a relatively young guy and mostly fit but oof, i was aching in muscles I didn't even know I had. Not sure if the seats are standard for the plane (if it even works like that) or if the choice to use cardboard as cushion and 90 degree angle back rests was a decision, but it wouldn't honestly make me think twice about flying with them again. Other than that - perfect flight. It was quick, crew was nice, ride was smooth so all things considered I appreciate the last minute availability offered after a sudden relocation on my part.
