I asked the flight attendant about it and she said that I would have to go back up to the ticket agent to inquire there. So I did, and I was told when I walked back up the ramp to that kiosk that the ticked agent had just Closed The Flight. So, the other lady who was standing right there said that she had to escort a minor on to the flight and that she would accompany me back to the airplane and see if she could help. She did, and when we got back to hand off the minor to the flight crew she then inquired about that seat. It was agreed that the seat was going to be vacant, and since I am a 6' 1", 250 pound man, they all thought it would be a nice thing to allow me to sit in that first class seat at no extra charge! Wow!! What a difference that made on the 4 hour flight! Thank You Alaska Airlines for helping me out and hooking me up! I will remember that when I am booking my next trip!!"

Economy seat cushions are thin and wear you out on a transcontinental flight. And storage is extremely limited and inflexible given the hard plastic back of the seats and the barely-there netted space for personal items."

Then I had to wait till three quarters of the passengers had disembarked to get my bag. Crappy treatment for a "premium" seat."

Then we were told to board a different plane in a different terminal. At this point, we were told a new ETD every 15 minutes. Reboarding the new plane was chaotic, unorganized, and not sucure. We were asked our names and checked off a list - not ok. There was zero compensation offered to customers for the late flight that should have and could have been prevented."

They patrolled the aisles and routine pointed at passengers directing them in a hostile manner to keep their masks on their faces, even when they were trying to eat or drink. They also threatened customers by stating it was a federal law several times. It was very uncomfortable to say the least. I will not fly delta again by choice."

Then on of my checked luggage was lost enroute - which made getting off the flights even later which made me miss a meeting that I was scheduled to be at. Pros: "The crew kept a very positive attitude. I only caught one members name, Maddison, and she and everyone else were very professional"

But the almost / hours we spent sitting on the runway in Little Rock for the limited amount of medical supplies, that could of been replenished in Dallas was a waste of every passenger on that flights time"

The extra bag fees were a surprise and the fact that we landed an hour late because there was bad weather but we weren't told that we would be late until we were about to land and by then our ride had been waiting an hour and there was no way to notify them. I will not fly Frontier again unless I absolutely have to."
Cons: "I had pre checked in but when I got to the gate (on time for the flight but late in the boarding process) they didn't make an announcement for last calls or for any checked in passengers so I missed my flight. They were changing over the signs for the next flight, so it still read my destination, but the time was an hour later so I thought it had been delayed."

I was told I had to be rebooked on another flight to the tune of $99 plus $30 baggage fee. Since I had no other choice I rebooked for a flight NINE hours later. After all this I was sent to TWO different WRONG gates nearly missing that flight. At least I got an apology for that. The wrong gate fiasco was because Frontier shares gates with Jet Blue and Spirit. I could not hear the gate change announcements because I am hearing impaired. A lovely way to spend a day in Denver!"

I then had to pay $40 x 2 for my little carry on bag, which was ridiculous. I plan never to fly with you again."

Group that in with the fee for having an extra carry on (50), checking IN the bag ( another 50 bucks) and having it being overweight (30) , and you have one happy wallet. This was only the tip of the iceberg, as getting through the layover was a trip of its own. Being boarded on the plane, then forced to board off in view of "maintenance", then later going through the exact same thing (on the exact same plane) wasnt exactly on the itinerary that evening. A flight that was supposed to arrive in DFW around 8 didn't make its way there till 1 am."

A nearby gate said they cancelled the flight. No emails or text from Spirit. So I had to rebook on American to New Orleans and run across tour terminal C for a 149pm flight. Will be asking for a refund and will never book Spirit again and may decide to use kayak less for flights and just use standard United or delta direct websites. Joe"

Cons: "Serious information screw-up! Our Monday flight out of Dallas was cancelled because of weather in Baltimore. Unfortunately Spirit did not let us know until after we had spent $70 plus tip on an airport shuttle. Spirit was unable to put us on the Tuesday flight because it was full. So we got a spot on Wednesday's 2:15 PM flight. (We rented a car and incurred more debt on top of the unnecessary shuttle.) BUT on Tuesday, when we tried to check in online, we were unable to do so. We called to find out that the 2:15 flight the next day had been "cancelled". They could put us on for the following day; Thursday. I had already taken two extra days off of work. We chose to take a later flight out that would take us to Chicago for a significant layover. Luckily we went to the airport early and discovered.... The 2:15 flight had NOT been cancelled AND it had four empty seats on it. The nice ladies at the Spirit counter were shocked to hear our story. They made sure we got on the 2:15 flight which kept us from getting home at 3:00 AM."
