Boarding was slow and our flight took off late. We paid extra for better seats, which were still too small and too close together. The food was horrible. Pasty and tasteless ( odd because the food from Toronto to Spain had been okay.) Disembarking was slow. Multiple exits should be used to disembark. The process takes too long.
Staff was not frankly. I asked about what beverages you have and air hostess told me like before so very rude answer.
Seats are incredibly small and uncomfortable for longer flights, have to pay for business class just for comfort unfortunately. And baggage fees are insanely expensive!
Both return flights delayed due to mechanical issues and flight attendants rushed meals out late. Otherwise though all went ok.
For the first time, I needed to use wheelchair assistance for my return from Madrid to home in Sacramento. I am very impressed with how helpful it was and how kind all of the staff were.
Delay info was confusing. It was in the email but not updated in the app. When at the airport, the gate info was confusing about the time too.
The Air Canadian personnel were all very professional and friendly. I will definitely fly on them again.
Economy class feels really cramped and marginalized compared to business class, especially on a 9 hour flight.
food was not acceptable. It did not match the service.
Seat back was hard. Crew excellent blanket nice. Snack terrible some kind of chicken roll.
The longer flight on our leg back to the US was fine. Boarding was great, we had to stay on the runway for a bit after boarding… they kept it cool uncomfortable.
Paid for exit row at the back of the plane. Window seat with lots of leg space. Food was inedible (as usual). Brought my own.
Missed flight. Requested assistance for my father and he did not receive it in Paris.
Poor food on flight between Toronto and Stockholm Airport Toronto too crowded
Business Class Configuration was excellent- private and comfortable. Crew and service were excellent. I really appreciate Air Canada cabin pressurization equal to an altitude of 8,000ft. Upon landing, I felt more alert and refreshed than typical for international flights
Hard to use tables and TV screens interfere with the enjoyment of flight experience. Other than that it was a smooth and comfortable ride and we were well taken care of.
The flight crew, the on-plane service, and the food were fine. The seats lacked cushioning and were uncomfortable compared to other planes from recent flights. The plane was initially delayed one hour and that expanded to 1.5 hours. When we boarded, there was insufficient room for our carry-on bags, which added more time to disembarking from the plane. It appeared the Air Canada staff or the Toronto Airport staff were less than competent to handle whatever the issue was that caused the delays, which was never communicated.
Boarding was haphazard after people with small children or walking difficulties
The boarding process is not well organized at all. It need to be totally revised with an emphasis on order.
Tiny, cramped seats with minimum leg room and hard armrests. Basic needs like a seat and luggage came with an additional charge. Budget airline amenities with premium airlune cost. I won't use this airline again.
