The lady at the check in desk never asked me if I was first class or main cabin. Just assumed I was main cabin. So they almost made me check my carry on until I showed my boarding pass. Other than that, everything was great. Smooth flight flight attendants were very nice
My flight was cancelled and I wasn’t even notified!!! Horrible service!

Cons: "Pretty much everything. The flight was delayed for mechanical reasons. Then they boarded us and we sat for 3 hours on the tarmac because one of the air conditioning packs was broken. When we finally arrived, I found out my bag was lost. The worst flight of my life."
Cons: "Flight canceled with zero re-book.assistance offered and NO seats left. I was forced to upgrade to get to my destination a day late. Trip was short to begin with. I booked plenty in advance. I want my 55m miles back in my account. It was that or $1000. Unhappy customer."

I’m traveling with 4 kids ages 8-1 and I know by experience that late nights don’t mix well with kids. We were supposed to arrive at 8:50, instead we arrived just before midnight. Can u say cranky kids? Sigh. We may not travel with kids for awhile to recover."

Pros: "Delays, delays, delays. An initial delay of 1.5 hours due to a switched plane. Then they needed mechanics to check out a bird hit to the plane. That took another 3 hours to happen. And they boarded us first, then found the issue, deplaned us, had a gate switch and then the wait. Very frustrating! Once on board, everything went smoothly as it typically does."

Cons: "Didn't know about close connections and terminal changes until printing boarding passes. Snack offerings are minimal one almost all airlines for regular fares. a tiny wafer cookie or about 5 mini-pretzels are not very impressive. I wold much prefer peanuts to pretzels--an option would be good. The gate of outgoing flight to Bloomington kept changing on phone m messaging shortly before takeoff , about 6 gate changes in 10 minutes. Confusing!"
Cons: "I was stranded at the airport for hours until getting a last minute flight to Palm Springs which was 2 hours further from where I was originally headed and had to have my ride drive all the way down there to pick me up, not happy!"

It was cool outside as well and all my winter clothing was in my checked bag. I had not known I would be exposed to the elements at the end of the flight. I could have been warned!"
Pros: "Either Frank needs a raise or the register personnel need additional training. It seemed every time the desk needed assistance, they were hollering for Frank. May be nice to have an ear set for personnel so they aren’t hollering amidst the chaos. Honestly, I sat at Gate E16 for almost 2 hours and genuinely want to say, “Great job!” to Frank. He kept a level head through the madness and maintained his professionalism all the while. Thank you for your hard work, Frank. We need more like you."
Pros: "New aircraft with good entertainment system. Did not crash."
Cons: "Very tight seat spacing in pitch and width. Screen did not tilt so even with the very minimal backrest recline viewing was not ideal. This was to "punish" me for not buying the various seating upcharges American tag onto the ticket price. It was a low cost ticket on a very convenient transatlantic flight from RDU, "Easyjet" pricing brings "Easyjet" seating. I have flow a lot, 3MM miles on UA alone, and this reminded me why AA did not get much of my business! I will have to revert to the "Continentalised" UA (another sore point!)."

Cons: "The woman boarding us asked me to combine my small items into one - and that was not the issue, it was her demeaning tone, and that there were several other passengers she had already let on with more than two consolidated items. Seats were very tight"

Cons: "I know it was a very long flight and my butt and legs were hiring by the time we landed. Also I'm lactose intolerant. And I wasn't able to eat any of the food. But it did look good. But overall a very good flight."
Pros: "I paid for extra leg room and I got it. The only thing I was in the row right behind first class they require you to put all of your carry-on above even a purse. I had never had that before but I guess that's common practice."
