My main issue is that I paid approximately CAD 200 to select four seats for the first flight. However, when I arrived at the check-in counter, I was told that the seats had not been assigned, and my family was relocated to the last row of the plane. I was traveling with two young children, ages two and six, which made the situation especially frustrating. I paid for a service that I did not receive, yet Alaska Airlines did not offer any refund or reasonable solution. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled and will not fly with Alaska Airlines again.

The flight was fantastic. All the crew staff were wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and they went out of their way to help make it such an enjoyable flight! I think on such a long flight there should have been some food given. Even cheese and crackers and maybe some cookies!

CREW ON AIRCRAFT WAS GREAT. GREATLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE ALASKA AIRLINES LOUNGE IN SEATTLE. I PAID FULL FARE FIRST CLASS TICKET FROM YYJ - SEATTLE-CHICAGO-CMH. THEY SAID THE NEXT FLIGHT WASN'T LONG ENOUGH TO ENTER THE LOUNGE. UNBELIEVABLE. WHAT DOES IT COST FOR A CUP OF COFFEE AND A DONUT? I PAID FOR A FIRST CLASS TICKET. DELTA ALSO OFFERS SAME ROUTE, SO JUST BECAUSE OF THE COST OF A DONUT, I'LL BE USING DELTA MOVING FORWARD.
We boarded the plane and were about to take off when we were notified that the tires had to be checked. Upon inspection, they were found to need replacement, so the entire plane had to be deboarded. After we exited the plane, United staff forced us to stay in the gate area by posting "Do Not Exit" signs on the doors connecting the gate area to the terminal. Many of us had already rebooked our flights and had no checked bags, but they told us we could not leave. This seemed inappropriate to hold people under false pretenses. When the agent told us we could leave, I asked them to please take down the "Do Not Exit" signs, as they were misleading. The agent refused, and I told them that it didn't feel right to hold people like that.
Friendly crew, but we were delayed for more than an hour and had to change planes due to maintenance issues.

The food quality sucks. One must starve if they do not eat flesh Or wheat based products Some variety would be expected. The trivial amount of snacks and or food is inhumane

Michael, our FA was very attentive, even finding me a chocolate brownie from economy class when the dessert selections were all dairy based. ( intolerant, not allergic so don’t usually need to order dairy free)

We called Kayak for a change due to the TSA situation in Atlanta. What we got was a canceled return flight (in error) and we had to find the mistake. Not happy with Kayak who blamed it on AA.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with the AA crew. I believe it was disability-related. It’s unlikely I will fly AA again.
The luggage was completely damaged. It was ripped at the corner and the lock was stuck. We had to rip it open.
Everything was great except that I wasn’t issued a boarding pass for the second flight so they would not let me into customs until I had said boarding pass. Luckily a gate attendant from another Air Canada flight was able to print one for me so I could go through.
I suppose to board the plane AC5110 to San Francisco on July 16 2026 @07:00 am and arrive San Francisco at 09:25 am. At 9:30am still in YVR I was told the plane was delayed until 11:30 am to take off. Not until 11:35am the pilot of the plane declared that due to hydraulic system problem this plane was cancelled. After waited in a long pile up for negotiating with the counter-staff, I finally got the tickets for myself and my wife Yim Mei KONG firstly to Seattle and then transferred to San Francisco on the plane AS 2014 & AS 791 with Alaska Airlines. I suppose to attend the funeral of our friend in San Francisco on July 18 and a Memorial Gathering for the Birthday of the deceased on July 16, 2026. I arrived San Francisco at 9:40 pm that day (12 hours later) and couldn't joint the Memorial Gathering. This upset me a lot. I am seeking for compensation of this failing trip. Please let me know how to and where to forward my complaint.

check in for premium economy very nice. Friendly attendants. Best security video ever. Seriously. That's about it. Not a good bang for the premium economy buck, to be truthful. I had hoped/expected for a little more.
One crew member, Brandy was very helpful with recovering phone lost in customs. The plane was ancient and poorly maintained. Checked baggage did not arrive with flight. Almost missed flight because if insanely short layover time. Air Canada is worst flight I have ever booked with Kayak. Wanted to charge for headsets for on flight media.
Never flown with Air Canada before, but it's now a top choice! Loved it!

Crew at gate and onboard were just very OK, not very friendly and honestly seemed bothered to be there. I will give a shout out to still selling headphones for those who forgot.
Flight Boarded and departed on time. The Flight crew was very friendly and accommodating. The aircraft was clean and free from clutter and debris. I will be happy to recommend Air Canada to my friends and relatives for their flight needs. They were very attentive and responsive to our needs as Senior citizens.
