Pros: "The flight from Rio to Panama was very good. The only complaint I have is the food, which is too simple and it could taste a little better. All my flights were on time and arrived in time at the destinations. They have an excellent option for entertainment with good movies and documentaries."

Complained among each other (in front of the rest of the passengers) about people asking thrm for help."

Because COPA does not change ticket holders names it was a total loss. I bought the ticket for a student in Cali to come and meet me in Panama City I couldn't afford to buy a second ticket so Victor stayed home. Every other Airline charges a minimal fee to make changes on a ticket so now there is a credit at Copa Airlines for a person that will never ever use it.... such a waste of time and money. She did everything she could to help me as they arranged to get me on the next flight and as I waited and boarded. The other agent serving at that same desk also helped. I am sorry I did not get her name. No one could have been nicer than Ana was to me."
Cons: "When I arrived in Panama my boarding pass said the flight from Panama to Quito was leaving from Gate 20. I checked with the departure information and did not see Quito on the list. I made the mistake of not checking the time. And therefore waited and waited at gate 20 for the flight to Panama which by that time I had missed. And saw later that the gate had been changed at the last to Gate 24. I thought it would have been nice if Copa could have posted the change at Gate 20 . I would not have missed the flight."

booked a reservation with expedia and it should included 1 lugague and we end up paying $79.00 per bag because all the crew can say. "IS YOUR PROBLEM NOT MINE"
The flight was delayed for 4 hours due to a mechanical issue they ought to have been inspected before we all boarded. Finally boarding 4 hours later, we missed our connecting flights and didn’t arrive at final destination till 10PM after starting our travel close to 2AM

Cons: "The worst experience in my life, I showed up a hour early, only 2 kiosks that work to check in. The rude lady directed me out of line to use the kiosk again instead checking me in, so I couldn't miss my flight. You could obviously tell it was my first time. So I missed my FIRST flight for my 30th birthday. Their only rebuttal to my dilemma was "you should have show up 2 hours early". A horrible experience I will never forget. The human that don't display common courtesy for his or her fellow man should be replaced by robots. I would gladly pay double for my next flight than to EVER use Spirit again."

I know other airlines are cheaper for bags and you get free snacks and drinks and a free carry on through Delta so I will be flying Delta next time. The over all flight was good and I'm thankful the crew was nice and the pilot for getting us there safe!"

Cons: "The simple fact is that, besides the $55 carry on fee, there is a much greater cost to such cheap flights. That comes in the overall experience. I arrived early to the airport, as recommended, to find no one working at the Spirit desk. They told one man to come back later. Also, the airline is often pushed into a tiny terminal with far too many people. It felt congested in the terminal and plane. The crew was quite kind; I am surprised they haven't left the airline. All to say: there is a very real cost to such cheap flights; do not underestimate it."

The point of paying for your bags online and taking them to simply be dropped off is hampered by a process that caters to not only dropping off your bag, but dealing with customer service issues as well. It should not take over 1 hour to drop your bag. It is simply unacceptable."
