"Snack is full of empty calories."

"They were on time. Staff was professional and pleasant. Allowed me to have a carry on and select my seat. Very reasonable cost. Easy online check on and sms reminders. Will fly with them again."

"The flight attendants were super friendly and attentive. I wish there were better entertainment options and a wider movie selection."

"Great service"

Pros: "एस"
Cons: "Some extra snacks"

Pros: "Nice and easy"
Cons: "Food choices on the plane would have been good"

Cons: "More food/snacks and water"

Pros: "The comfort of the plane was great! Lots of room and very comfortable seating."
Cons: "I found some members of staff to be a bit rude. When other passengers asked questions or did something wrong (that was a minor issue), one of the staff members in particular talked down to them and treated them like they were stupid."

Cons: "Grown crew at the counter"

Pros: "Overall pleasant flight. Outstanding service by the entire Alaska Airlines crew. Captain of the flight was fenomanal, a very valued member of Alaska Airlines I have no doubts about that. Excellent service by all. Contentment and a relaxing, not to mention smooth, experience."

Pros: "Crew was great"

Pros: "Made the extended flight more comfortable"
Cons: "Stay clear of Diane who transferred from Columbus, OH and now works in the San Diego Airport. She targets anyone over 250 pounds and classifies them as oversized and will go through hell to charge the customer for an additional seat. Even when the plane is at half capacity."

Pros: "Crew and seat great."
Cons: "Taking a bus to walk up stairs to board needs to improve."

Pros: "nothing"
Cons: "less repeated rules"

Cons: "Nothing"

Cons: "reservation changes were not communicated well and kept changing"

Pros: "Everything"
Cons: "Nothing"

Cons: "WIFI was not working"

Pros: "The plane was so comfy! I slept great! And the plane landed smoothly!"
Cons: "First class next time"

Cons: "Things would’ve been a lot better if my flight was on time and my bags got to the carousel in a timely manner. Alaska has a 20 minute guarantee. Yeah not so much in this case"

Pros: "The flight arrived 30 mins early!"
Cons: "The stewardess did not give me a cookie :("

Pros: "Crew was amazing and food was surprisingly good. I was in first class however"

Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "Great crew, smooth landing."
Cons: "The “Mediterranean tapas” meal is basically a tiny tiny school lunch, minus the comfort of PB&J. Want dried apricots? You get FOUR. All in all not too bad though. The entertainment/WiFi system is limiting- maybe REMIND us to bring headphones? And no WiFi unless you have T-Mobile? Tease."

Pros: "Free upgrade!!!"
Cons: "Nothing"

Cons: "It was great!! Couldn’t have been any better!"

Cons: "No problem at all"

Pros: "Crew was super nice and plane was quite empty"
Cons: "Take off got delayed (not in Alaska Airlines' control though), but all in all a very pleasant flight."

Cons: "Had trouble. Checking in for my flight and print my boarding ticket. Plane left early so we landed early but it took them so long to deplane that I still Ended up late."

Pros: "There was one crew member who was super nice and had a smile who kept going around asking if anyone would like refills or anything. Also, I like that there were charging ports... even if I didn’t use them. And there was plenty of leg room. Lastly, there was a flamboyant crew member who was really nice as well. I liked him a lot."
Cons: "There was this one older stewardess with short blonde hair who had an attitude the whole time. While she was trying to do drink orders a man had spilled his drink so he asked her for a napkin. She rolled her eyes and gave it to him. I was in an isle seat and I got hit in the back with the cart and all she said was “get out of my way I’m coming through” and it actually really hurt. I got bumped by her another three times. And by no other crew member was I hit on my side. Maybe she was just having a bad day..... or maybe she didn’t like her job.... but it definitely showed."

Pros: "We were 30 min early and took off on time."
Cons: "Slightly turbulent, but not bad. Alaska could have more non-dairy, gluten-free options in the menu, but their Mediterranean tapas box is pretty good."

Pros: "I liked being able to carry on my bag that I purchased from the airport just so I wouldn’t have to check a bag. Spent a good sum of money doing so."
Cons: "Checking my bag just so the airport could charge us more money."

Pros: "The crew was excellent and the aircraft was clean."
Cons: "The only downside was the plane had no food and the announcement wasn’t made until we were already boarding (they didn’t know either - not their fault). I was expecting lunch since I was in first class, but the crew did as well as they could to provide us with snacks."

Pros: "Liked free WiFi!"
Cons: "Switching from Alaskan Air to Hawaiian Air in San Diego is near impossible. I got off at 9:25am and had to run out of the airport and down to another terminal, go through security again and run to gate 51 from gate 10. It is near impossible for someone who can’t sprint. I was the last one to board. Lost my window seat and luggage didn’t make it. In Honolulu I found out luggage hasn’t made it for at least three other couples flying out of BWI with these connections. This combo should not be offered when people select flights."

Pros: "I love Alaska Airlines!! They are always so nice and very accommodating. I travel with my dog and they are great. The only airline I fly with my dog."
Cons: "The new planes on Alaska don’t have enough air flow coming out of the vent above the seat"

Cons: "The plane had to make an emergency landing in Honolulu because 2 of the 4 navigation systems were not operating correctly. We had 2 wait in Honolulu approx. 6hrs to catch a flight to Seattle. They gave me a $12 voucher for food but my dinner (only dinning in the terminal) cost me $20. Was forced to take an additional day of leave & had to make arrangements for my pets. Was only given (3) $600 vouchers for my 3 tickets."

Pros: "Once the seat assignment snafus were fixed, everything went fine."
Cons: "When we make the reservation, WE TELL YOU that we have two kids ages 3 and 5 travelling with us. WHY DOES YOUR SYSTEM BREAK US UP INTO 3+ GROUPS? It just ends up in more work for your gate agents to put us together as well as you can before the flight. This happened on the flight out and the flight back. Also, on the flight back the agent and crew had to bump people who had already established themselves in their assigned seats in order to fit us in in a sane way. Also, don't make us download a sketchy app to view in-flight entertainment. There are ways to deliver entertainment that don't require installation of software for just a flight. Not that it matters to us, because entertainment wasn't available on the flight to cabo."

Pros: "We upgraded to first class and it was amazing! The staff was very friendly and it was a perfect end to our honeymoon!"

Pros: "Got there safely and on time. The staff was friendly."
Cons: "I'm tired of being crammed into small and uncomfortable seats. It seems comfort is only for people who can afford it. Headrests were non-existent. I'm not extraordinarily tall but the seat stopped just above my neck and felt like a hard, sharp surface rather than something soft and padded. And, of course, there's not enough leg room. Especially once the person in front of you leans back. I don't mean to sound petty but it felt like the airline was more worried about maximizing profits at the expense of their guest's comfort."

Pros: "Good size seats. Comfortable"

Pros: "Was upgraded to premium economy in order to accommodate a family that wanted to be seated together. Never been upgraded in my life. The seat was very comfortable and legroom excellent. I was exhausted from a long weekend and not feeling well but managed to sleep almost the entire four hours without being bothered. The flight attendants left me a snack in my seat pocket which was very much appreciated. Almost wish I hadn't slept so much of the flight so I could've witnessed other amenities and service of flight attendants."

Pros: "nothing"
Cons: "my original ticket had a tsa pre-check on it,when i tried to go thru security it would not read so i was told to go back to the counter to have it reprinted, mind you the lines to go thru screening were hundreds of people long that morning,so i did. the reprinted ticket did not have the tsa precheck on it but the ticketperson said it would be fine if i just showed the original. not what happened,i was sent all the way back to the end of general boarding and consequently nearly missed my flight. also there was zero air in the aircraft,it was stifling hot, smelly and miserable.and once again zero ackowledgement of any mvp gold statis of any kind. im starting to wonder whats the point anymore? you used to be alot more ......nice,i guess. and honestly how many very old wrinkled up senior citizens do you guys hire? i dont feel like most of the crew would really be able to handle any type of crisis if there was one. sorry ,i used to be very happy with you and now have been taking Delta more often."

Pros: "I always fly with Alaska Airlines when I need to go to LA. Fantastic flight attendants and good services."
Cons: "But on my last flight with them, it was delayed for more than an hour and a half, which was longer than the time I flew back to SJC from Burbank. That mixed up my schedule for the whole day."

Pros: "I can't say enough great things about this airline! This was my first time on Alaska and it definitely won't be my last. We had some weather issues come up as we were about to take off. The pilot kept us up today on info, the flight crew brought water & anything else people needed before take off. It was a short delay but you would have thought we were going to be there for hours because they were all so attentive. It was the smoothest flight (THERE WAS CRAZY WEATHER EVERYWHERE!!) but our pilots made sure we had the smoothest safest flight possible. I could go on forever! This airline went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we were comfortable and had a great flight."
Cons: "I don't love paying to check luggage but these days unless you fly Southwest that's hard to avoid."

Pros: "Always on time"

Pros: "The crew was friendly and very accomodating. I also liked that I could change my seat even after I checked in so that I could have the most comfortable travel possible as someone traveling alone."
Cons: "Although it worked out ok. I thought that the boarding process was a little chaotic. I expected that we would line up according to our seat rows. But the boarding process still went ok."

Pros: "The staff were great and helpful."
Cons: "I am a small woman but your seats are getting smaller and leg room is less. This leads me to believe that the "people" actually running this airline have little interest for those of us who have to travel in coach? Making money is the most important thing to these people who will always travel in private jets or first class. Congratulations to all. You are winning. Joanne Lewis jolew@comcast.net 206-550-0748"

Cons: "Just seemed chaotic. Plane super late departing. Baggage pick up was a nightmare."

Pros: "Being a tall guy, I appreciated the extra legroom in first class."

Cons: "Everything from communication to compensation"

Pros: "Great crew, very efficient"

Pros: "Everything was easy"

Pros: "SeAts"
Cons: "No entertainment no WiFi. Lots of angry people about that."

Pros: "Good crew"
Cons: "My tv monitor did not work."

Cons: "Ladying calling out the plane numbers i could barley understand her"

Pros: "I like when they dim the lights so I could sleep"
Cons: "Flight attendant was rude, I was too tired to deal with her attitude"

Pros: "I was on time"
Cons: "Compensation for your mistakes"

Cons: "Seemed disorganized getting on"

Pros: "The crew were super nice. All the people in the SAN were very nice."
Cons: "They didn’t have headphones :("

Cons: "Incredibly cramped airplane"

Pros: "The meals on Japan Airlines (JAL) were delicious!"
Cons: "Fukuoka and Narita airports had terminals that weren’t connected by a train or even an indoor path. It was covered but it was cold in Narita and Fukuoka required a slow shuttle."

Pros: "I could be rebooked on my initial flight and I arrived early in San Diego."
Cons: "I was rebooked on my initial flight but I had lost my seat and I landed at the end of the plane. It took ages to get out. I understand the situation, however."

Pros: "Fast all to boarding and everything"
Cons: "No comment"

Cons: "Had to buy another ticket"

Pros: "Leaving that airplane 8 hours after expected."
Cons: "The fact that I was delayed twice, given false information, had to wait to board because a flight attendant was late for her shift and then had to run from terminal to terminal to find my flight on my own because no representative could help me or show up."

Cons: "Getting canned and moved to a flight that is five hours later"

Cons: "They didn’t board us closer to the front just because we had an hour layover. Barely had time to go thru customs n tsa to make it to the gateof our connecting flight."

Pros: "Flight kept being pushed back multiple times. left about 3 hrs late. Then after boarding and waiting to take off, the pilot tells us a light came on the "dash" and he has to have maintenance come to check it. That takes another 30 plus minutes. Not a good start to the morning."
Cons: "Never finding out what happened to the our original plane that was supposed to have left in the morning."

Pros: "Direct flight from desired origin to destination Boarding by zones"
Cons: "Uncomfortable, small, seat space with inadequate legroom. Lack of personal entertainment options. Paid extra for earlier boarding group which only benefited me by about 5 people. (NOT WORTH IT!) Lack of complimentary food options. (Pay for everything)"

Pros: "Economy passengers treated well"
Cons: "Your survey app"

Pros: "Love the entertainment system, watched a movie and was able to charge my phone too"
Cons: "Gate the boarding process but that's about it"

Pros: "Once we were in the air, the flight was average."
Cons: "The flight was delayed due to several mechanical issues but the ground crew did not communicate effectively on the issue or how long the delay would be. I understand that these issues occur, but better communications and empathy from the ground crew would have gone a long way. Boarding was also a disaster because everyone tried to board at the same time and again, the ground crew did nothing to control the situation."

Cons: "Took off late"

Pros: "Flight crew was great and made the flight that more memoriable ."

Pros: "An open seat next to me"
Cons: "Turbulence"

Pros: "Everything was great!"

Pros: "Flight was on time"
Cons: "No individual movie screens and no way to connect to the one movie on the flip down screen since I didn't have the American Airlines app."

Cons: "Unbelievably poor customer support. They accidentally canceled my flight and when I tried to retrieve my seat back, the lady was taking it as somebody else problem... If the AA was the one made an error of canceling my seat, I wished they would show at least an attitude of taking responsibility to fix the problem."

Pros: "Short flight"
Cons: "Numerous delays."

Cons: "The check in process at JFK was a disaster. The kiosk check in machines were constantly malfunctioning, where to line up was unclear, and staff acted frustrated. After several failed attempts with the kiosks you have to wait in line to check in at the counter anyways. It would have saved almost an hour of my time to just go straight to the counter-- had I been allowed to. I wanted to check a bag which contained some fragile items. Several bottles of wine which I wrapped in bubble wrap and cushioned with my packed clothes. I requested a "Fragile" sticker to be put on my bag. I was told "We don't do that here". So I asked if they handle ALL bags with extreme care and I was laughed at and told to go on my way. When I got my bag at my destination-- the outside of my leather suitcase was sliced to the lining. There were scuff marks and torn leather. My wine had been completely shattered. Not just a crack in the bottle, but flattened completely. My clothes were stained, my bag ruined. I don't know if putting a fragile sticker on would have prevented this, but I don't understand why they just "don't do that". We are trusting our property to the airline when we check bags. I will never trust American Airlines ever again. They don't want to know if I have anything fragile, and they don't care when I tell them."

Pros: "Ok boarding, ok service, ok flight"
Cons: "We were delayed for about 1hr without any explanation or apology. Thank goodness i didn't have a connecting flight."

Pros: "Well organised"

Pros: "No much"
Cons: "Aircraft is small, boarding is a mad dash to the plane"

Cons: "Flight was delayed arriving, connecting flight was in a completely different terminal = they didn't wait for us and auto booked us on a flight out the next morning. We requested our bags and drove home instead. Horrible."

Cons: "Could not read paper when passenger in front reclined seat. No space between rows."

Cons: "Despite paying 5 months in advance, couldn't check in online or reserve seats without paying extra. AA customer service told me there were no more "complimentary " seats!! Very tight legroom in cabin."

Cons: "just like above + I had previously requested a vegan meal that had been confirmed and I was presented a "dish" of pasta loaded with cheese and was told that that was vegan ... 9 hours flight with no food The sound outlet on my seat was broken and, again, no entertainment for the entire flight"

Cons: "The stewardesses were gossiping in the back of the plane and we could all hear their complaints about the new uniform policy. They did not seem very happy to be there and there was no in flight entertainment. A total bummer."

Cons: "AA canceled my flight my kids who live 4 hours away from San Diego drove that distance to pick me up yesterday, we got a hotel room for the canceled flight but they ended up paying $200 for the night. AA did not let us know thr flight was canceled until late last night."

Pros: "Smooth boarding"
Cons: "No entertainment"

Cons: "It did not happen! Had to taxi to Austin!"

Cons: "No power at JFK. Customs and baggage claim a nightmare. After a tiring international flight, 4 hours in airport find out my flight is canceled. Miss a day of work because can't get flight until following day. No airline offer of food or hotel accommodation."

Cons: "1 hour late. And when the pilot made announcements during the movie it would not pause. We missed parts of the movie. It was annoying."

Pros: "Quick flight, stewardesses still offered complimentary drinks, a/c worked well."

Pros: "Aircraft was safe, clean and good media selection with power-outlets for mobile device. Good updates from the pilot and crew."
Cons: "No free wifi. Crew was late which delayed the flight. No Admirals Club access for AMX Plat card holders."

Pros: "My husband and I were traveling together to Dallas, and we were unable to sit together-The ticketing agent was very rude when we asked if she could find us seats that were together. She said, "We could ask someone on the flight to switch with us". We paid $738.00 total for both tickets to Dallas, and found it very hard to believe that we could not get seats that were next to each other. We have had this same situation on other airlines, and they were very accommodating to our needs."

Pros: "The staff were professional about the situation. Flight attendants were nice, courteous and the complimentary drinks were good. It was a good flight despite all the changes... but who likes their flight changed anyway."
Cons: "flight was delayed. standing there and they said our plane was there but didn't know what gate. our gate was a35 then changed to a28 but then delayed 1 hour, then 2 hours. So overall, it was switching back and forth then changed the time from 1830 to now a 2000 departure."

Pros: "Convenient time of day."
Cons: "First class seats were terrible. No padding. Meal of a messy sandwich was bad. No drink service was offered."

Pros: "All in things were reasonably easy"

Pros: "Awesome and funny service."

Pros: "Audio should include easy listening, classical and good oldies"
Cons: "As above"

Pros: "Clean!"
Cons: "Closed captioning or subtitling didn’t work on the app."

Pros: "Excellent gate crew"
Cons: "Pretty uncomfortable seat"

Cons: "Food options had run out by the time the crew reached my seat."

Cons: "we had a 9 hour delay"

Pros: "Staff"
Cons: "Not enough leg room."

Pros: "The crew was great"
Cons: "Better food options. Back to the way it used to be."

Cons: "Was delay"

Cons: "No video screen, WiFi didn’t work, hot, got one lousy glass of water"

Pros: "gate agent helped to get me on a flight at LAX just made it an extra 10 hours"
Cons: "not cancel my flight"

Pros: "On time departure and arrival"
Cons: "Small plane"

Cons: "Didn't appreciate gate change at last minute. Got to gate change only to hear announcement that it had been changed back to the gate we just landed at, with no time to grab something to eat. Then to find out we were delayed do to mechanical failure. Which still left us no time to grab something besides a bag of chips because there was nothing but mostly bars in that terminal."

Cons: "The flight was three hours late!!!!!!! I had to get on and get off the plane with all my stuff. This has financial implications on the ground later that evening in Uber Cost and I had to pay for the additional day for my car because I was not able to pick it up at the originally scheduled time. I contacted United and have not heard ANYTHING!!!!! Please help me get my money back!!!"

Cons: "A very rude boarding agent insulted a young man from another country who was boarding in front of me. He misunderstood that they wanted him to check his luggage instead of carry it on. The agent yelled at him and shamed him in front of other passengers. United strikes again!! Seriously folks, you suck!"

Pros: "Couldn’t get clearance to leave because bathrooms didn’t pass?? Why would it take another hour when the plane had already been there an hour and a half"

Pros: "The app promoted me to check in on my phone and would not allow me to check in. So I assumed the time on the ticket would be my boarding time. I was late for my flight."

Pros: "Crew was friendly and responsive. Gate crew kept passengers informed of the delays. Flight itself was ok."
Cons: "Flight ETD was 8:25 but plane developed a mechanical problem. After about 20 minutes waiting for maintenance the Captain decided to go back to the gate for fuel and repairs. After maintenance came on board the decision was made to deplane. Finally, a plane from Chicago was scheduled to take us to San Diego. After boarding at about 12:30, it was discovered that catering never loaded food. We waited for over an hour for food to be delivered. At close to 2pm the Captain, who kept us aware of what was going on, asked us if we would agree to leave without a full delivery of food, and all agreed. So by 2pm we were finally enroute to San Diego but having a seat in the back meant we only got to eat what was left, which for me, was a small cheese pack."

Pros: "The Washington terminals were close in distance for transfering and the gate had each group marked off with lanes, versus waiting for the agent to call your group number."
Cons: "On a 3 hour flight, you should get more than pretzels."

Pros: "Flight was on time, even a little early. Bags came out quickly at destination."
Cons: "Crowded seats. Too many people bringing huge bags on board even when crew kept asking them to check them. Customs was very long in DC. It would have been nice to been made aware of dowloading customs app before deplaning. It would have saved a huge amount of time."

Pros: "Everything is smoothie"
Cons: "I have not find any"

Cons: "Didn't like sitting in the middle and separated from husband who was traveling with me"

Pros: "Tried to reply with very good ratings, but the correct number of stars won’t show up. Not the ratings I want to give."

Cons: "slightly delayed"

Pros: "Everything ran as expected"
Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "We were forced to re-book this leg of our trip because of "insufficient" layover time. The United Airlines staff helping the numerous customers that were forced to re-book were not friendly, did not function with any sense of urgency and were as minimally helpful as possible with the inconvenience. After exiting customs we had 30 minutes to get to our gate, instead of offering to take us to the front of the line to get through security faster we were simply told we would not get through it in enough time to make our flight. Initially we were not even told we were going to be re-booking our flight, we were only told that we needed to re-check our bags at the counter after exiting customs. The entire interaction was very frustrating."

Cons: "I don't usually write reviews but my flight check in experience was awful. The woman checking the tickets while boarding was incredibly curt and rude to the old man in front of me (who clearly had an issue with his ticket that was not his fault), then when she got to me she took a look at my bag and said "it's huge I need to check that". It's a bag that I have carried on to hundreds of flights (feel free to look at my flight history with united) and definitely fits in to the over head. When I asked her "is it too big or is there no space?" she said "no space" without even looking at me. I proceeded to board the flight only to find tons of over head compartment space. This is very frustrating. She didn't even take the time to fit my bag in the measuring tool at boarding. She seemed to be in a rush for no reason. The flight was already delayed and being rude wasn't going to make it go any faster. I'm now a silver status member, likely to be gold by the end of the year. I've flown a lot, and I think it's totally reasonable to expect at least some level of politeness while boarding."

Cons: "I saw my bag come out of the baggage claim ripped open. My stuff coming out. My zipper was complety destroyed and my locking mechanism on my bag was ripped off even though it wasn't locked."

Cons: "The gate worker said the gate for my flight had changed as my boarding time had been happening. Rushed to the other side of the airport where my new gate was supposedly at just to be told it was where I first started. Pissed beyond measure that I got to my flight one minute to take off because the United worker doesn't know what hes doing."

Pros: "The stroll waffle"
Cons: "I felt like a commodity that only existed to squeeze money out of. I'm a petite person, 5 foot tall and 115 pounds yet I felt cramped in your tiny seats."

Pros: "They let me on the flight after I ran from the first flight to this. My first flight was delayed over 1hr. Thankfully (and it's ironic that I'm grateful) that the connecting flight was also delayed by 20 min."
Cons: "Why can't we be places on a temp standby if there are delays? They had to give me a whole new ticket when I was able to board because they gave up my seat when they thought I wouldn't make it."

Pros: "The crew were anxious to please"
Cons: "Temperature was warm and we were given a smaller version of the cheese and cracker option. Accessing the entertainment wasn't easy and it was only available on ones own personal device. There were no screens anywhere"

Pros: "Arrived safely and almost on time despite late departure."
Cons: "Boarded plane in nonsensical manner. Had to try to walk opposite the flow of traffic to find room in overhead luggage compartment. Plane was too cold."

Cons: "The United mobile app as well as my emails stated that the gate was B3. Upon arriving at gate B3 and attempting to board, I was alerted that I was at the incorrect gate. The gate was switched to C11. However, my app did not alert me nore did it reflect the gate change. I didn't receive a text or email update. I had to run to the different concourse nearly missing the fling."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Lost $700 on this trip. The refund policy was extremely unclear, and the time window for valid trip insurance was extremely short. The purchase of insurance was useless."

Pros: "Flight was smooth and on board crew was nice and helpful. Flight attendant noticed I came on with a cane and offered to have a wheelchair ride available in the SF airport. Reminding me that it was a large airport. I declined, but she encouraged me to try it and I agreed. She was concerned and very helpful."
Cons: "The plane was a small plane and we had to disembark on the tarmac. There were two attendants with wheelchairs but they didn't have my name so I walked on. The flight attendant called to me and said to wait. One of the attendants came up with a wheelchair and said he would take me. Unfortunately, a steep ramp had to be used to get into the airport building. He asked another worker to help him and all the way up the ramp I had to listen to comments about "good thing they had eaten their Wheaties" and "they were getting a good workout." I know that I am not a small person, but these ongoing comments were rude and insulting. When we got into the gate the attendant told me that he didn't have my name on his list and had to call for permission to take me through the airport. I waited and he came back and said he couldn't take me, but if I could wait someone else could come for me. I had waited enough already and suffered their rude comments, so I said no thanks and walked slowly through the airport. This experience has left me with a bad feeling for the airline and its personnel. I believe their staff could use sensitivity training at the very least!"

Pros: "The crew was friendly"
Cons: "Some passenger were allowed to carry more them the 2 bag carry on rules."

Pros: "This flight was very easy. There was a delay at the gate but we were notified and once we were able to board it was a very quick process. The flight was maybe half full which was also nice."
Cons: "No complaints on this flight"

Cons: "Delayed flight so they transferred us to American which turned out to be delayed and we missed our connection in LA and had to stay the night. They could not find us on the computer system because of the transfer. We took the train home at our own expense. Not happy with costumer service. There was a lack of efficiency and care. We were in the air for 4.5 hours but spent two whole days traveling. No thank you united and American!"

Pros: "I liked that I finally arrived at my destination and that the crew did their best to accommodate the passengers."
Cons: "-The flight was delayed with only vague information given out at the gate. We were told three different times we would be boarding, but only to be told we were experiencing a delay again. + If the gate announcements included apologies with, or even instead of, the inaccurate boarding calls it would have made a difference. -The passenger compartment was about 15 degrees hotter than the airport and it never really cooled off. The front WC was out of service and created a long line for the only other WC on the plane, which you sometimes you would stand in when turbulence would hit. This was honestly one of the most uncomfortable commercial flights I have taken since 1991. I had to call out of work due to the stress the flight put on some of my joint injuries."

Pros: "I got there alive."
Cons: "They change our gate 3 times and one of those times had us walk back to entire different concourse. Then it took forever once we got on the actually plane and we had no air, it was so hot. The ride was bumpy and the air was again not very strong so we are hot and bouncing around. Finally, we get to San Diego and....they change our baggage claim. United needs to get it together or at least give us a free drink when they can't get organized."

Pros: "Crew was able to get most of those delayed onto the incomming flight which was also delayed."
Cons: "The fact that united has no spare planes in case of a delay. Not cool."

Pros: "The airplane was new and clean"
Cons: "The pre-boarding staff were rude and not helpful. I had requested an aisle seat when I booked my flight. Somewhere along the line, my seat was changed to a middle seat. When I asked the staff if I could switch to an aisle seat to help accommodate my sciatica, they told me, "sorry, we can't help you, you'll just have to ask another passenger." Neither crew member was willing to work with me or hear my concerns. So much for flying the friendly skies...well I guess we were still on land, so may that principle had not yet taken effect."

Cons: "Four hour equipment delay on departure One hour equipment delay in return I never want to fly connecting again but it was the only way to get from Newark to Burbank."

Pros: "Pilot was the best. Best landing ever."
Cons: "Deboarding because they didn't have a plane with the right spoilers so we could land on San Diego's short runway. The pilot had mentioned it and they still boarded us and then had to have over 299 people get off and move to another concourse. United should listen to their pilots and think safety for their passengers."

Pros: "The girls at boarding area watched Tucker while I had to go back to the security area to get bracelets that I had forgotten they treated him like a king"

Pros: "Crew was nice"
Cons: "Less leg room than any other airline, complementary food is real bad, they charge you for everything, movies, alcohol and food, in other airlines they do not charge you for none of the above!"

Pros: "Another flight were maintenance became an issue to the point we needed a new plane. What I love about United is that it only took an hour (and not 3+ hours or a total cancellation) to find a new plane and bring it to the gate after they ran into problems. I also love the happiness and relaxed crew after a passenger started an argument and fight with another passenger. They handled it extremely well and made sure that every one else was comfortable."
Cons: "I don't like being delayed, but it happens..."

Pros: "Seats were fine as they were basic accommodations."
Cons: "There was a 90 mins delay which would’ve been a little more palatable if I didn’t have 2 small children with me, and if they could have offered us regular updates to plan accordingly such as bathroom breaks and feeding my kids. Having a 3 and 5 year old in tow is already a bit tough but there were no gate agents there to update us, and no one to offer exactly how long the flight would be delayed. All they could offer was they had to do some specialty cleaning since the plane arrived from Mexico. I would imagine they knew it was coming from Mexico so I’m also not quite why Frontier didn’t plan enough of a buffer to accommodate the necessary sanitation guidelines required. We were delayed 90 mins for a 45 mins flight. Then the already beleaguered passengers were restless and started arguing at the back of the plane about deplaning etiquette which I guess should go out the window when flying a budget airline? All in all a pretty poor experience"

Pros: "The crew was good"
Cons: "more legroom"

Pros: "Flight was on time and the aircraft was clean."
Cons: "I quickly realized that it was a mistake to only pay $8 additional for my cramped seating. I felt like I was on public transportation with absolutely no legroom. They have designed the new plastic seats to be as thin as possible with a tiny 6" flap -not even a tray that can hold a drink. Ridiculous!"

Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "was not happy about the prices of baggage that were not mentioned upon booking and the seats were very tight and not comfortable. No wi-fi, entertainment, think I will fly United in the future"

Pros: "Price was right and my golf clubs arrived without incident."
Cons: "Flight was delayed over 1 hour with little explanation."

Pros: "Cheap! So cheap!"
Cons: "The lavatory could use some love. “Paper Towels” was written in black permanent marker above the dispenser. WiFi would also be nice on a 4.5 hour flight."

Pros: "It was all pretty bad."
Cons: "The baggage policy wasn’t enforced at all, so I realized I could have saved $40 and had my backpack under my seat as my personal item since most others did. They charge for seltzer water. No internet options. Male flight attendant made inappropriate jokes and the rest of the staff was rude and blunt. Will not fly this airline again."

Pros: "Super uncomfortable seats. Over an hour late"

Pros: "Frontier company needs to be more professional and respect the time they assign for ... the reception guy tell me the gate is close 45 minute from the flight time When I was 15 minute early from the time flight thats disgusting . So I changed my reservation for Friday at 6:20 pm same time . Hope they didn’t come with another excuse ."
Cons: "Frontier company needs to be more professional and respect the time they assign for ... the reception guy tell me the gate is close 45 minute from the flight time When I was 15 minute early from the time flight thats disgusting . So I changed my reservation for Friday at 6:20 pm same time . Hope they didn’t come with another excuse ."

Pros: "Nothing. Every single person I spoke with was insulting to me, repeated information they already gave me and showed no sympathy whatsoever. They cost me money, they cost me a day of work and no one even seemed to care but every single agent did find something different about me to blame. What an embarrassment."
Cons: "I couldn't check in online because of a website error. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone on the phone to check in. When I did they said I had to use the website. I arrived in plenty of time to board (there was a 4 minute security line) but they would not check me in and told me to call a number and they made no offer to help me and told me I should have chexked in online. I called the number and they gave me. I was on hold till I missed the flight. The agent told me the people at the counter could help me. I aksed for a supervisor. He offered to reschedule me for Sunday, (today is Thursday) for a $99 fee (the ticket was $63). After arguing for an hour i finally got the supervisor to refund my money but I still had to buy another ticket on another airline to get there. I will never fly frontier again ever."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed an hour and a half because a tire blew and then we had to switch planes. The seats were hard and small."

Pros: "Baggage made it with flt. On-line check-in was easy."
Cons: "High baggage fees (for both checked and carry-on). Virtual requirement to pay upgrade fee for seating - only a handful of seats in entire plane were available without upgrade fee. Even highest level upgrade seats were cramped - had more leg room on economy seats on Alaska flt on in-bound flt. Plane was 4 hours late in departing. While pilots seemed friendly, of two stewards, one was downright unpleasant and unhelpful, the other seemed pleasant but was more interested in reading his fashion magazine than providing service to passengers. Will not be flying Frontier again."

Pros: "Good piloting, nice landings despite turbulence, low clouds and wind."
Cons: "I travel a lot and understand that being a flight attendant isn't always a fun job, so I do my best to minimize my burden on them, but their attitudes made me feel like they despise their passengers and think we're all stupid. A couple crew members were nice, but the rude ones I interacted with ruined the experience. Also, not the employees fault, but they pitch you their crappy credit card for 10 mins then stuff brochures for it in your face. I'm already stuck on a plane in a cramped space next to someone who smells bad, I don't need advertisements that I literally cannot escape added on top of that. Their app is okay, but their website is awful. They nickel and dime left and right. Finally their seats are too short! I'm 6'2" and if I sit up straight and lean back, my head is over the top of the seat. I got suckered into a cheap fare but wish I would've paid $100 more for a half decent airline instead."

Pros: "NA"
Cons: "Frontier just lost this customer for life. I'll pay a hundred dollars more to fly United. Getting socked in the face and drug out of my seat by the SS sounds more appealing than ever flying with Frontier again."

Pros: "the direct flight. the only reason i booked with them :/"
Cons: "paid the extra $74 (discounted - bundle rate) fee to check bag and carry on and select a seat! crazy... i was wondering why a 4 hr fight from cincinatti to san diego direct could POSSIBLY cost just $90... now i know.. it DIDNT... it cost $164 each way... lol. NOT. also - the crew was just lame. they didnt look at you ever and you had to flag the down after they passed you to hand over trash... basically just spent their time socializing and had an overal BITCHY tone... that you didnt matter to them. will avoid this airline from now on."

Pros: "The crew had a smile and were friendly."
Cons: "Look, it's a budget carrier. I get that. But I add a bag to my flight and my ticket is now what it would have cost to fly Southwest. I'm 6'4", and I *barely* fit into the seats. My knees touched the seat in front of me the whole flight. And the seats don't recline. To make everything just perfect, they lost my luggage on the flight home, and the lady who worked with Frontier who took all 15 (?) of us who had lost luggage over to make a claim said "this is normal for flights coming from Denver - it's a hub for Frontier, so luggage gets misplaced all the time." I'm sorry, that's not acceptable as an answer. I've never had a lost bag while flying with others, so that's what I will do from now on."

Pros: "Gate agent was fabulous"
Cons: "Thisvwas my first flight with frontier. After being delayed 2 hours they cancelled our flight with no explanation. The re booking process was a nightmare. Frontier employees at the airport gave passengers completely different information than those at their customer service center. Lots of unhappy people."

Pros: "I will only fly Frontier if the cost is way lower than other flights. The seating is so uncomfortable and they charge for literally everything. I'm surprised there is not "breathing air" fee. Although the round-trip nonstop flight to SD from Orlando was only 140 per person. I paid 89 each way for bags and seating. Still at 185 round-trip nonstop, it's a great deal. The flight left on time and we had no issues in the air. I wish I could get more comfort and complimentary drinks and snacks along with TV options during the flight for this price, but you can't have your cake and eat it too. Overall the savings is undeniable. We had some major issues trying to book our summer trips bc they were only showing airfare through 6/6/17 up until last week 2/13/17. Less than four months out before they released and the prices were doubled. Since my entire family lives in Orlando and I travel there 5+ times a year, Frontier has saved us a lot of money! My son travels alone a lot. He is 13. When he flies alone we always use Southwest no matter the cost bc they do not charge extra for any minor over 12 traveling alone and they take great care of the kids in air. No to mention the flights are nonstop, they offer free drinks and snacks, and of course, baggage is free."
Cons: "The seats are extremely uncomfortable, I still ache from this flight. I had a 10 month old on my lap for five hours. I was unable to recline. They force you to check in online or they will charge you more money at the gate. They will charge you for everything under the sun. So glad they don't charge for in lap infants (yet) or a personal bag. Maybe it is just a matter of time. One airline I flew.. (Maybe Frontier or Alaska?) offered tablets for rental to. Watch movies or shows during the flight. Frontier could take a hint and start this practice."

Cons: "I paid for the upgrades first row seat. There was no padding, I could feel the metal seat on my back and bottom. Very uncomfortable! Seats do not recline. No entertainment. I didn't buy any food, but they do give free water. I used to like Frontier, but would not use them again:( Maybe for a one hour flight, but it's not so cheap and uncomfortable even in the nice seats! I heard horror stories about the regular seats being terrible, but not sure the $$$ ones are better but for more leg room."

Cons: "They charged 40 dollars just to bring a carry on suitcase onto the plane. That's crazy expensive!"

Cons: "We have several flight delays with no connecting flights to our destination. We were rerouted to another city, rented a rental vehicle, and then continued to our final destination."

Pros: "The seats are bare minimum so they have no screens and minimalist trays either in an attempt to reduce weight or give more room for passengers or fit more total seats on airplane but seats are paired down with no entertainment. I'm assuming tickets are cheaper than other airlines because food is extra charge no peanuts pretzels or drinks other than water for free"

Cons: "My husband is a active duty military personnel, his orders had changed last minute, we sent military orders and leave sheet, to Frontier Airline HQ. It all started with the papers sent wasn't enough information, the military orders were sent, and again, these were denied because it wasnt a pdf document. I personally sent the Military orders as a PDF document, and I never heard back from Frontier. I feel like we were fooled by this company, so we couldn't change the flight and waste our money and time on them."

Pros: "Cheapest flight I saw"
Cons: "Most uncomfortable flight I've been on"

Pros: "On Time. Check in was fair at best. Ground and flight crew were good."
Cons: "Frontier's no frills approach may work for some, but I will never fly them again. Seats are instruments of torture. No padding, they don't recline, there is no in-flight entertainment and anything other than water costs money. By the time you factor in overpriced luggage, get charged for a carry on, there is no value in flying them."

Pros: "Zero"
Cons: "The seats didn't recline, there was no wifi and when I asked for a sip of water, to take a pill, I was informed I would have to buy water if I wanted anymore than a sip. About half way through my trip (9 pm- 3:30 am) a flight attendant snapped on my over head light and accused me of using my ecig and demanded I give it to him. As I handed it to him I explained I was not using it and deployed the button to show him it wasn't even on. He then "confiscated" it. About two minutes later he returned it to me and told me not to use it again or I could be jailed. After I got off my flight I found a Frontier Airline supervisor and told her what happened. Kim took the tag off my bag (for flight info) and told me a report would be filed and I would here from the airline in 24-48 hours. Three days passed and I finally called them just to find out that there was never a report submitted for me. Poor customer service!"

Cons: "On both flights, the for sale snack options were poorly stocked... no menu cards in my row, when I asked for one (because they told us to chose before they got to us).... they brought me one that was torn and falling apart Most folks around me were surprised they couldn't get water or coffee without paying extra."

Pros: "Everything I booked a flight for my aunt she said staff was very friendly and the fact that it was a direct flight was very great! and not expensive at all compared to others."

Pros: "There is no longer anything to like about Frontier"
Cons: "Charged bag fees at kiosk. Then told they couldn't take bags because of their cutoff time. Then told I could call customer service to get a refund. Then told by customer service they could not refund fees even though they would not provide the service. Oh...and they wanted $99 to book on the next flight. Even though the flight they wanted to book me on left the next night!"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Two-way flight was booked and paid for two months in advance. The day of first flight Frontier sent email notification that return flight was, "Adjusted". Frontier made an adjustment to all its passangers without their knowledge or approval. The change was a nine (9) hour layover arriving at midnight! No full-paying customer would ever consent or pay to sit at an airport for 9 hours!! This was the only available flight Frontier had available on this travel day. Flight was canceled and reimbursed, however we're still out lots of $ in order to last minute book a one-way flight with another airline. Frontier = Worst Airline - avoid the stress and headache.. Please do NOT fly with Fronteir Airlines."

Cons: "The 4pm flight was delayed about an hour, so I went and grabbed a beer to wait it out. I got back to the gate right as they were announcing final boarding. Even though I was one of the last passengers to board, I wasn't worried because I had reserved my seat way ahead of time (always go for the window), and had made it before the doors closed. As soon as I got on, the flight attendants rudely told me the plane was full as if I wasn't supposed to be getting on. I showed them my ticket, and they changed their tone a little, then went to check my seat. Apparently it was somehow double booked, and there was no other seat available (or so they told me). They then told me "we can maybe get you on the 9:50pm flight, go to customer service" (original flight was 4pm). Didn't offer to do anything else for me, didn't even tell me where customer service was in the airport, just kicked me off the plane and then took off, treating me from start to finish AS IF I HAD MADE THE MISTAKE. Waited in the customer service line for about an hour, finally got to the front and was able to get a seat on the 9:50pm flight. Customer service rep snidely told me "don't be late this time" as if my waiting until final boarding justified the fact that they had given my seat away. That flight was then delayed until 11pm. I didn't land back home until around 2am, and had work the next day at 8am. I was never compensated whatsoever for the whole ordeal, nor was I even treated politely - the entire time, they tried to make me feel as if I was in the wrong. I used to love Frontier, I'm from Denver and have used them almost every time I've gone back to visit there. I WILL NEVER BE FLYING FRONTIER AGAIN. The new management brought along with it bush league baggage policies, nickel and diming around every corner, and some of the worst customer service I could imagine. Such a shame."

Pros: "the only thing I liked was the flight attendants, other than that my flight experience was awful."
Cons: "I hated that I arrived 2 hours before our flight and then got notified that our flight was going to be delayed not once but 3 difference times. so we waited from 4:00 pm pacific time to 10:30 pm to board the plane and 11:00 take off that is 6 hours waiting at the aiport. THAT IS INSANE!! getting to the Denver airport we got there at 2:30 am and had to walk over a mile getting to our hotel till 3:30 am and having my meeting at 7:00 a.m, coming back from Denver to San Diego the same thing our flight was delayed by one hour and 30 minutes. by far this is the worst experience EVER!!! and the only compensation I got was 100.00 dollars off my next flight a free round trip would of made it seem like they actually cared about my time and money."

Cons: "They canceled the flight, then delayed till next day without any accomodations, plus it was delayed even when was rescheduled."

Cons: "2 crying babies( that part was just bad luck), the plane was dirty and not well taken care of, the flight attendants were rude, had to pay for beverages. Terrible experience. Will not ever fly this airline ever again!"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "I shouldn't have to choose to sit in the exit row in order to get enough legroom to fit comfortably in a flight where I'm not going to get food, peanuts, or a seat that reclines. Every leg of my trip was this way. On my way out I flew a red-eye and planned to sleep because I had business to deal with once I landed. Without legroom or being able to recline I was too uncomfortable to get any sleep. I also had to pay for carry-on AND check baggage? Is a person not supposed to bring anything with them when they fly? Lastly, if I wanted to sit anywhere comfortable or in a reclining seat I again have to pay to upgrade? This fact was unknown to me until the online check in process. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied with my experience. I have another trip next week and I already chose to pay $100 more for American Airlines instead of frontier, I will have comfort, food, wifi, won't have to pay for my baggage. This is America, we expect comfort. At least give us wifi. My experience with Frontier has made up my mind about paying more to get treated the way I deserve, not as if I was flying in a C130 Cargo plane."

Pros: "The Crew"
Cons: "Cost to buy seats and carryons is a joke the flight becomes just as expensive as the standard commercial flights on American Southwest etc, I will not fly Frontier again if I can avoid it."

Pros: "The ticket was not pricey. Travelled with a special needs child and they let me pre board."
Cons: "The seats are way too close together, don't tecline and were uncomfortable. They charge for regular beverages (soda/juice). Baggage/carry on bag fees are ridiculous."

Pros: "the crew was great . everything was easy no real complaints"
Cons: "there was an hour delay with boarding due to another flight being delayed . it was unfortunate but it happens"

Cons: "my mother in law was supposed to be on a flight Fri morning and was delayed until 2am Saturday in the middle of the night. awful service."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "They overbooked the flight so we're offering people travel credit to fly the next day. Flight attendants didn't do anything, no water on the flight"

Cons: "Flight had previously been international so there was a 2 hour delay while they checked the plane. I understand and appreciate the need for this, but feel like it should have been factored into time I was told I would be boarding, so I didn't have to wait at the airport an extra 2 hours."

Cons: "I do not travel alot and some of this was a disappointment. Making our plane reservation was easy. Then we went to pick our seat assignments. What a surprise when we had to pay more money to just choose our seats. This is a complete rip off for travelers. You already pay to much just to fly and then you pay additional money for seats? And then you pay more money to have a carry on bag. We put this bag under our seat, we carried this bag ourselves, no one from the airline touched this bag, another rip off. I have heard the airlines are not doing great, now I know why. You can include my entire name if you want. Jim Prueter"

Cons: "The only airline I've flown that wants to charge you to select a seat and has no complimentary drink or snack. Had i known i would have brought my own. On top of that flight was delayed 4 hrs"

Pros: "How Frontier used to be"
Cons: "- Bag fees ( every other airline allows 1 carry on and 1 personal item at no extra fee) - Terrible customer service... My app said I checked in successfully online the night before my flight which was not the case when I arrived at the airport kiosk in San Diego. I was 1.5 hours early for my boarding time and ended up missing my flight due to no representatives at the counter and a 90 minute phone call with Frontier customer service. I am a frequent traveler and use Frontier for 90% of my flights. I will soon start flying with other airliners and build points with them as I am fed up with the lack of organization and care that Frontier has for its customers. I should be compensated for all the troubles I have been through with Frontier over the past few years!!"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "You pay for what you get, so if you pay cheap you get cheap. This airline has all of these little nickel and dime charges for everything. No complimentary drinks, $2 for a soda ridiculous! $40 carry on bag, $15-$35 seat selection, more ridiculous. And the seats are horribly uncomfortable, hard as rock and don't recline. Like some cheap school bus seats! Babies and kids screaming and crying! As much as it cost for all of the BS nickel and dime charges, you might as well pay the price to fly a better my comfortable airlines. With all of the charges it comes out to the about the same in the end!"

Pros: "I used to love flying Frontier—the airline with the cute animals on the tail of the planes. Now I call them the F word in airlines. If you want to fly Frontier, I want to make sure you’re forewarned. Their slogan is “A different kind of animal.” This animal is very cunning. And slightly savage. First, if you’ve been suckered into their $59 airfares, you already know what’s waiting for you. Wait. You actually want to fly back home? Well you’ll end up paying the same price as you would most any other airline. But wait…what’s this? Actually, their rates are about $100 cheaper than normal. What they don’t tell you is, they charge $30 for you to carry on your own baggage. I always thought it was ludicrous to charge me to carry my own bag onto a plane. Keep in mind that’s one way. So it’s $60 round trip. And that’s their discounted rate if you book online. It goes way up if you’re one of the unfortunates who wait till you’re at the kiosk to settle up with the Frontier Friskers. Oh, you say you want to actually choose your seat? That’s $13 minimum. For each leg of your trip. Don’t be surprised if they figure out a way to charge you for each leg of your body. That’s for a normal seat. If you don’t cough up the $13, they’ll randomly seat you wherever they want. I wouldn’t be surprised if they counted the lavatory as a possibility. So, that’s $60 for your own carry-on luggage. And a minimum $26 if you dare to choose your own cheap seat. Hmm. That $100 savings is looking rather slim right now. Speaking of slim, that describes their seats. And they don’t recline. You’re straight upright your whole trip. And the padding is about as comfortable as a cheap mattress in a cheap motel. The best way I can describe the feeling: Say you’re on Sesame Street and your job is to sit on the capital letter ‘L” for two hours. So while spending what feels like an eternity in L, maybe you’d like something to quench your thirst. That’s $1.99. Water? $1.99. A snack? $2.99. I’m surprised they don’t charge for toilet paper. By the square. (To be fair, I just learned that a cup of water is actually free. “For today,” said the flight attendant. “That could change.”) Nice Surprise: The people who work for Frontier are generally nice. But if this is the way Frontier treats their customers, how do they treat their employees? Do they make their mechanics buy their own tools? I wrote to the company to let them know how hugely disappointed I am with their changes. I never got the courtesy of a reply. I somehow like to imagine the CEO, in the true spirit of “no frills”, answering each customer letter by himself on an Olivetti typewriter from the 1970s. But I kind of doubt it. So there you have it. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. And if you have four arms, well, you might just fit their new slogan. Frontier Airlines: A whole different way to treat people like animals."
Cons: "Frontier's low fares which are deceptive. They charge you $60 for carrying your own bag! They charge you $13 per leg for the "privilege" of choosing your seat--even the normal seats. They charge you $1.99 for basic sodas offered by most every other airline for free. And they charge you $2.99 per snack. The seat are slim, terribly uncomfortable with virtually no padding and they don't recline! They don't respond when you write them."

Pros: "Boarding process was easy Crew were attentive On time I didn't pay for a seat, but got a window anyway"
Cons: "Checked bag and seat fees Seats do not recline Charge for water! Tray tables are half the size of typical trays, but I guess since they don't feed people, it's not much of a problem"

Cons: "My flight never happened. I was supposed to fly on a Thursday, but because I was passing through Denver and a blizzard had closed the airport the DAY BEFORE, Frontier's flight was cancelled on Thursday. First I spend an hour and fifteen minutes on hold before finally giving up and calling back in the middle of the night. Then I waited fifteen minutes to speak to someone, who informed me that the earliest they could get me a flight would be TUESDAY. That is FOUR DAYS from my day of departure. My only options were a refund or a Tuesday flight. I asked to speak to a manager, but the employee refused to transfer me and eventually hung up on me. This was hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had with an airline. I am still fighting for a refund, after I had to purchase a day-of flight with another airline to reach my destination. It required me to fly from a different airport and to a different airport, which was a nightmare for my other travel plans. Needless to say, I will never fly Frontier airlines again, and will never recommend them to anyone."

Pros: "Cheap fare."
Cons: "The remodeled interior puts the seats closer together from front to back and don't recline. That also limits the size of the tray table, which is tiny. Even as a tiny, short person, it was uncomfortable. For anyone of normal stature it would be torture. Paying for a "better" seat appears to provide very little if any added benefit, just keeps your party together. There is no entertainment, movies, music, or wifi so bring your battery pack charger. There is only expensive junk food to eat. My only option on my coast to coast flight was a red eye. So you arrived just wiped out. So if you do this to save money, in my overall assessment, it's just not worth it. I'll never do it again."

Pros: "It got me from A-B"
Cons: "This airline has gone downhill. Charging for carry on luggage and seat selection. No entertainment or Wifi. uncomfortable seats that do not recline. No complimentary ANYTHING. People will say this is the future, but the future is bleak. I will most likely not fly this airline again."

Pros: "5 hours late."

Pros: "Made up time in the air"
Cons: "Flight was delayed half an hour"

Cons: "The extra fees are ridiculous. Pretty soon they are going to charge for toilet paper."

Cons: "The only part of my journey that didn’t fail miserably."

Pros: "I liked that I made it to and from orer destination alive."
Cons: "Ridiculous trip cancellation policy, even WITH the trip insurance I paid extra for. Most uncomfortable seats I've EVER sat on on any airliner (didn't recline, cheap plastic with no padding, CRAMMED to the max). Tray table was roughly the size of my phone, wouldn't be able to pull a laptop out to get work done even if I wanted to. $55 unexpected cost of carry-on bag per person is downright THIEVERY. Red eye flight and lights were not dimmed, air flow was turned way down almost to the point of non existent so it was stifling hot. No help was given to the mother of the crying toddler who screamed the entire 3 hour and 20 minute flight (at least offer a free cookie or something to help sooth popping ears or anxiety for Christ's sake!). Absolutely WORST airline I've ever flown with and will NEVER fly with you again."

Pros: "In flight crew actually made people listen to the pilot. Boarding was fast and simple."
Cons: "Plane and seats to firm and to small. A sensor went down so they decided to hand write information from the tower."

Cons: "Horrible airlines, I’ll never book with you again. My hour flight I booked in advance was overbooked, so they gave me a different flight. The new flight had a 10 hour layover. I asked to be refunded so I could book a ticket with another airlines and was told tickets are non refundable. You overbooked and then make me pay for your mistake. Spent 2 hours on the phone attempting to get it resolved and no luck. Worst customer service ever. Save your money don’t book through kayak for or spirt airlines. Next time I’ll pay extra to book directly through United!"

Pros: "Flight was cheap, on time, and run by good flight attendants."
Cons: "Tickets were booked through Kayak’s partner Flightnetwork.com: shady, terrible reviews on Yelp made me wonder whether I would actually get to my destination with all my money). Ultimately, FN overcharged me 30 dollars and lied to me in writing about the charges after I called to complain. I’m having my bank reverse the charges since FN won’t. Can’t believe Kayak would send us to them, and this seriously undermined my opinion of Kayak’s trustworthiness."

Pros: "My experience was identical on all flights so I'll repost the same review: I really like Spirit's business model. Fresh planes, different style seats with less upholstery (less chance of absorbind spills and odors, as I see it) that results in more leg room. The upgrade to the top-tier seating (not called first class) is affordable and offers more room to stretch out and faster boarding. There is no food provided, no screen in the back of the seats to wacth movies, and carry on bags cost extra. And I LIKE this, because these are things I can do without yet with other airlines I'm paying a higher price. I gave 5 stars to the food and entertainment catagories because I like this approach of having neither. The planes are new and feel reliable and fresh. Feels like the future of air travel."
Cons: "The passenegers."

Cons: "I don't like the fact that the seats on the airplane do not recline."

Pros: "The snack selection on the flight and food package options were reasonably priced, and there were quite a few good options."
Cons: "We arrived at the airport and were through security over an hour prior to our flight's takeoff. We decided to grab breakfast at a restaurant approximately 2-3 gates down from our gate. We arrived back at our gate 17 minutes prior to the departure time and the door to the entryway was already closed. No spirit attendants remained at the gate to assist or inform us about who we should speak to regarding this matter. We sat at the gate and watched our flight take over 15 minutes to pull away from entryway with no one available to direct us. After the plane pulled away, a few Spirit staff members came back out the door to the gate, and when we inquired as to why our names were not called throughout the airport (as we heard many other names called while sitting at the airport) they informed us we would have to talk to the customer service desk if we had an issue. We went to the customer service desk and they put us on another flight, which did not depart until late that day. We went to the customer service desks of 3 other airlines attempting to find a sooner flight, and when we explained Spirit closed the gates 17 minutes early, each airline stated that the industry standard is 10 minutes. Not only does Spirit not follow the industry standard, but they also shut the gates 2minutes prior to Spirit's standard which is 15 minutes before the flight. Additionally, no effort was made to call our names prior to the flight, as is customary with all airlines. Two days later, we went to board our return flight, which a week prior to our trip we paid $585 to change to that day, and when we went to check in we were not scheduled to be on that return flight. We showed proof of switching our flight and luckily the attendant was able to get us on that flight, however, we were extremely rushed getting through security and due to Spirit's mistake almost missed this flight as well. If no seats would have been available we would not have been able to get home despite paying to switch the flight a week in advanced. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience traveling with Spirit and would not recommend the airline to anyone. We are frequent travelers for both business and recreation and have never experienced such poor customer service."

Cons: "They charge an absurd amount for carrying on luggage. I have never been on an airline that charged for a carryon. Therefore, when I got to the gate, they told me to go to the front desk to pay $65 to carry on my bag. I will never fly this airline again."

Pros: "The airline canceled the first flight so the entire trip got canceled as well."

Pros: "Boarding went smoothly, flight was only 35 minutes delayed, plane looked clean."
Cons: "They don't offer any free beverages. You even have to pay $3 for water. Word of advice, come prepared! Bring snack/drinks, there is nothing complimentary offered. Also be sure to check in, buy any luggage, and print your ticket ahead of time. Otherwise the fee's are nuts!"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "I tried to cancel one of the tickets because one of our friends could no longer go. They charged me a $150 cancellation fee on top of the $127 fare I had already paid as well as the $60 carry on bag fee ....ridiculous. Who charges to cancel an already paid for flight with no credits or refund. Also it felt like the plane would fall apart at any moment. Seats don't recline, all drinks/snacks cost a ridiculous amount of money. Will never fly spirit EVER again."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Flight was delayed 30mins and than as they announced boarding would begin , the next minute they were canceling the flight . Flight was supposed to get in originally 8:15, than with the delay 8:45 .... and they said that it was canceled because of a flight curfew . Which is a lie because the curfew is 11:30 at not and you can still even fly the airline may be subject to penalty if repeat offender . So spirit canceled a full flight for no reason , leaving the only alternative to be a 12 hour flight the next day ."

Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "-The fees quickly added up to the same as other comparable flights. -We had booked two evening flights, both of which were rescheduled several times, then cancelled - pushing flights to the next day. -Please keep in mind that if they cancel your flight you are entitled to full refund of all amounts paid. -After refunding $900 in expenses, Spirit charged a $150 cancellation fee and some $40 strange fee. These amounts should not have been taken out for a refund when the airline is at fault and after some hassle, they refunded the full amount. -When you value your time, do not fly Spirit."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "My wife and I received an email stating that our flight was delayed by an hour. We arrived to the airport 2 1/2 hours early and when we checked our bags, the man at the Spirit counter confirmed the flight was leaving an hour later than scheduled. We sat by the gate at a restaurant for two hours and went to get on the airplane 45 minutes before the plane was supposed to leave and the spirit gate had been shut early. Spirit announced that they were calling the last boarders as they were shutting the gate and when we walked up they would not let us board the plane. Hence, we miss Lee our flight. No one was willing to help us, or let us on, even though they boarded at the original time and not the delayed time as emailed and there were no other announcements made besides the last one. I have flown Spirit many times, and have always had a bad experience. I will NEVER fly them again!! They have lost my business forever."

Pros: "Flight was cancelled and no notice till we arrived and then we had to rebook and the returning flight was delayed several hrs."

Cons: "I will never fly Spirit airline again !!! There was nothing good about it they charge you for everything; Which ends up costing more than flying other airlines. Also both my flights were delayed 3+ hours."

Pros: "I could tell the plane was relatively new because of the details. The crew members were always available and helpful."
Cons: "No room for the legs, no recliners, small restroom. When boarding, 3 people had the same seat, one of the crew members solved the problem because luckily the flight was not a 100% full. 0 entertainment for the 6 hours flight (it was the same plane from FLL to Houston and San Diego) so I had to try and sleep (which was impossible). When I felt thirsty and wanted a cup of water, they told me it was a $3 dollar charge per bottle, I've never been denied water in my whole life, I found it nonsence. Overall, I would never fly Spirit again."

Pros: "The whole experience was absolutely wonderful. I will fly spirit as often as I can for the destinations I fly to. Great service, and very importantly to me, very good to active duty military and veterans. Big thumbs up!"

Pros: "Over the last 10 years I've traveled domestically and internationally on umpteen airlines -- including Spirit once before -- and I've literally never seen a plane boarded faster than I did on this evening's flight 787 from Vegas to San Diego. Crew were very friendly, flight was easy as it could be."
Cons: "The two women at bag check. I *never* check bags, and I *always* use kiosks to acquire my boarding ticket. Tonight, though, I tried three kiosks and none of them worked. Because I was in a hurry I dashed over to bag check (there was no line) to find two young women chatting away. Fair enough, they don't have any customers. But now they do. I stood there for a couple seconds then asked one of them to please help me get my boarding ticket. She looked at me like I was being rude or putting her out for asking her to do her job. She told me to use a kiosk. I explained that I'd already tried and again asked her to help me. The other girl wasn't quite as rude but neither one of them seem to have the slightest interest in customer service, which is weird, because that's their job description. Anyway, I hope both of them walked into an out-of-service automatic door tonight."

Pros: "Seats are pretty cramped. Originally there was a large person in the middle seat next to me but got hugely lucky and the window next to him was empty so he moved over. Otherwise it would've been a miserable flight."

Pros: "Cheap ticket purchase price"
Cons: "I was charged for carrying on my roll on bag because of its shape. While my brother on the same flight carried on an even larger backpack. But, it was considered a personal item. Also because we did not wish to pay even more to pick our seats, we were assigned the last row on the plane where the fuselage begins to taper towards the tail of a plane. Therefore it there was not nearly enough shoulder room for my brother and me. Overall the discomfort, lackadaisical staff, and shrewd penny-pinching policies insured that I will never fly Spirit Airlines again."

Pros: "Started off OK but then we quickly downhill flight was canceled due to fog in San Diego so I never made it onto the plane."
Cons: "Weather delay with fog in San Diego. Not Spirit's fault but they delayed for an hour and a half and then cancel the flight. As they canceled the flight they came around with cards with a number to call to rebook or change your itinerary. I called the number on the car rather than getting right in line at the desk. By the time I got through on the phone it would have been 10 to 15 minutes. They told me that since I was halfway through my return trip they couldn't do anything over the phone. So then I had to get in line and wait. I was the last person served. They offered me a flight to days later at the same time 9:45 PM that was unacceptable so I ask for something else and he somehow turned out they had a Houston Chicago San Diego flight that leaves tomorrow morning at seven. Very disappointed in the handling by the rebooking staff on the phone the gate agents were very friendly but very overworked and stressed. Service manager was there and he put me on a call back on the phone but that didn't help either. Not flying spirit again anytime soon."

Pros: "Direct flight"
Cons: "The 40 pound weight limit on checked baggage is both surprising and infuriating. Then the 30 dollar additional fee is completely asinine if you are between 40 and 50 pounds on that checked bag. Also your fee for a carry-on bag is completely ridiculous. I ended up transferring weight from my checked bag to my backpack to avoid the 30 dollar additional fee. The result was that the airplane weighed the exact same as before I transferred weight, and Spirit airlines angered their customer. I was courteous to all the staff but I would rather pay more for a flight, have better customer service, better baggage policies, and avoid all the nickle and dime charges that Spirit employs. I think I just took my first and last flight on Spirit. Good luck to you!"

Pros: "Nothing at all. All of the general staff was horrible and I dare say ghetto."
Cons: "The flights policies. The staff. When I got there I went to check in to a kiosk, it read arrow and directed me to the airline desk. There I was.charged $55 to carry on my bag. The plan was to check in and pay for my bag at the kiosk which would have been $21 instead of $55. For their troubles, I supposed. What a rip off. Then on my boarding pass they put 0 bags where I was then asked for $100 fee to check my carry on at the gate. Why would they put 0 bags?!?! Thank God I had my receipt with me and I dodged that extra expense. The staff was so rude. Worst flight experience of my life! They make TSA look great."

Pros: "The flight was cheap, staff was nice, and sat next to a nice person!"

Cons: "Mechanical issues. Initially, airline tried to fly with a fuel leak, until they learned the fuel leak was not within the plane manufacturer's tolerance for safety. They then made me wait 9 hours in the airport for them to bring another plane. It appears that they delayed flying in a new plane until after they tried to fix the fuel leak for approximately 2-3 hours. At the end of this ordeal, they provided only a $50 credit for their airline and a $7 voucher to buy a coffee in the airport. I will never fly this airline again."

Pros: "Absolutely nothing"
Cons: "From the minute after booking my flight there were problems. The confirmation page with my flight details had the wrong flight. I had to talk to someone who I could hardly understand for over an hour to correct this issue. When I arrived for my flight it had been delayed 3 hours, then delayed 4 hours, then cancelled. Had to go back to the ticket desk where 100 other unhappy travelers had to wait for 3 ticket desk agents that were offering to reschedule my flight for the same time the following day. My confidence this airline would actually follow through with my new travel arrangements were absolutely zero. I requested a full refund and was unable to fulfill my travel plans. I would never book a flight on spirit airlines again and would go out of my way to prevent anyone I know from making the same mistake. Such a horrible excuse for an airline!!"

Pros: "Inexpensive and easily available flights"
Cons: "THEY CHARGED ME $65 AT THE GATE FOR MY BAG THAT COMPLETELY FIT IN THEIR DEFINED DIMENSIONS! When I checked my bag at home, it was within their dimensions. When I checked it at the ticket counter it fit within their metal frame for measuring. When I got to the gate, they told me to step aside and check my bag. Without even looking at my bag, the lady at the counter told me it wouldn't fit and I had to pay extra. I told her it fit, and with an attitude, she asked me to put it in the frame to see if it fit. Suddenly, it did not. She said it didn't fit by over 2 inches. It was less than a 1/4 of an inch, and barely that. I was furious. She refused to care, refused to listen to me, and told me that it was either pay the $65 and board the plane or leave the bag there. Totally rude, and did this to SEVERAL OTHER PASSENGERS. HIGHLY DOUBT I'LL EVER FLY THIS AIRLINE AGAIN."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "I arrived 35mins to departure and was told I could not board my flight and would have to pay an extra $100 to rebook for a later flight. The flight they wanted to rebook me for was still selling for the same rate which I purchased my original ticket. The woman at the counter still said I would have to pay the extra $100. I only had a carry on. There was no reason I should have not been able to board my original flight or at the least rebook at no cost. Total rip offs but I guess that's what I get for flying with such a low class airline like Spirit. Never again and I will never recommend flying with this airline. They have so many hidden fees."

Pros: "It was great the crew was friendly the flight was smooth and quick"

Pros: "The tickets were cheap."
Cons: "Baggage fees were expensive and seats were small with no elbow room. No free drinks and the pilots made a few crazy maneuvers on take off."

Pros: "The cost of the trip was very low - with all the frills removed, air travel can be relatively cheap. Plan ahead - you will not be able to use TSA Pre-Check, you will have to pay extra to carry on a bag (so buy your bag online at the airline's website before you go to the airport - this is the cheapest way to do it as they charge you more to purchase the carry-on at the check-in counter and even more if you wait until the boarding gate), and you will have to pay for all beverages including water and provide your own in-flight entertainment. If you plan ahead and know what you're getting into, flying Spirit can be a pleasant experience. The flight staff is friendly and polite."
Cons: "The seats are very close together - don't expect to have any leg room - and they do not recline. Bring a neck pillow if you have any intention of sleeping."

Pros: "on time"
Cons: "The airline is overcharging! Before I left, I googled "spirit airlines baggage". I made sure that my personal bag and carry-on are within the required size. The website does not say that carry-on will be charged. At the counter, I was charged $55 for the carry-on. It is a light carry-on (I basically just had a sleeping bag). On the return flight, I protested for being charged for the carry-on because the website did not clearly say carry-on would be charged. The ladies at the desk then asked me to pay $100+ for my carry-on. $100+ is the price one would have to pay upon boarding without having paid for luggage. I ended up paying $65.00 for the carry-on because I did not pay for it at the check-in counter. I was flying to O'Hare earlier that day so there was no need for me to go outside to get the boarding pass and pay for the carry-on. Still I was asked to pay $65. With my air fare being just about $125, it is unbelievable that I had to pay $120 for a carry-on. I had heard of an NPR interview about the frugality of this airline and I am in favor of it. But it is deceiving to charge low airfiar only to get it back with charging excessively on the carry-on. If the carry-on has to be charged, they should clearly highlight it on the website so customers are alerted. In addition, it is also an unfair practice to other airlines. Had I known that I’d pay $200+ for the airfare to go on Spirit, I would have chosen a different airline. I plan to write to the Spirit and other agencies."

Pros: "Worst flight EVER! Our flight was delayed for 4 hours before finally being canceled. We told to come back and check the status every 3o minutes, which we did and were assured the flight would not be canceled. My wife and I ended up having to rush like crazy to jump on another flight with Alaska Air in order to get home to be a work the next day. We ended up boarding 5 minutes before takeoff. We ended up leaving all of our friends behind and they are still stuck at the airport today in Cabo, San Lucas. When we landed in San Diego, Spirit's website claimed the flight left at 5pm which was FALSE! Needless to say, I will never fly Spirit Air again and will advise all of my friends and family to never book Spirit Air again either."

Pros: "I liked the minimalist design of the seats, crew were nice"
Cons: "I hated that we were charged 50$ for a carry on! And then we have to pay for our seats and drinks and everything. I know this is supposed to be low cost but I could have gotten a first class ticket at another airline and much better food and service than this. At the boarding terminal, the lady told me, after I waited in line all afternoon, that I had to go back and get my printed boarding pass from the kiosk. What airline can't print the pass at the desk! When I told her I needed to check my carry on when I purchased a carry on price, she got lazy and wouldn't check it so she printed out my boarding the pass there. Lies! I will never fly this airline again unless they paid me to!"

Pros: "The lady at the desk at the gate was very polite and understanding."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed, and delayed, and delayed while the airline told us it would be boarding "momentarily" and "shortly". The maintenance issue could have been easily solved by doing proper post flight checks, as our flight was supposed to be the first to leave in the morning and the issue with the plane had been there since the night before. They offered us $50 vouchers for use with Spirit Airlines, which won't be terribly useful since we won't be flying with them again. They refused to even try to credit my card with the voucher amount to pay for 400 miles worth of gas and parking to get to and from the airport. The real disappointment with Spirit Airlines is in their ability to perform maintenance properly and their customer service representatives' lack of professionalism."

Pros: "The best part was the low fare I found through kayak for a one-way trip from Vegas to San Diego."
Cons: "I didn't like the people sitting behind me and the older gentleman flight attendant had a sense of humor that was a bit off-putting for me personally. Maybe others enjoyed it, but not my cup of tea! The flight was initially delayed upon arrival by at least 30 - 40 minutes. No assistance to be found at the gate. Then an additional 20 or so minutes delay after all had been seated for two passengers, one of whom could barely walk straight. These two kept the entire plane waiting only to get off before take off. REALLY?? What a cluster. Will not be flying Spirit again."

Cons: "I am a Spirit member and I did not like that the website clearly states that if the luggage fits within the box you do not have to pay to carry it on...mine did fit, yet I had to pay $55.00 to carry on. I did not receive credit for the mileage and when I called to get that corrected I was put on hold for 25 minutes before I hung up. I think that $2.00 for a 6 oz. cup of coffee is ridiculous and to get the attention of a flight attendant was not worth the time. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. The next flight I book will be with a reputable airline that may price the flight a little higher, BUT will be upfront about luggage fees, provide incidentals and hopefully not treat me like I'm a burden."

Pros: "Creating my own itinerary through a 3rd-party (Kayak) online reservation agent, I was unaware of the $52 add-on baggage fee. And when I tried to use the electronic kiosk to check in, it was not functioning properly. Although it not just Spirit Airlines, but I feel as though these additional fees aren't spelled out to the consumer well enough and therefore are somewhat disingenuous in their relationships with their customers."

Pros: "Your flight staff (flight attendants) are always great."
Cons: "I attempted to purchase luggage before each of my flights (departure and return) and the website would not allow it. I called the customer service number multiple times and it said they were experiencing technical difficulties. I was forced to purchase luggage allowance at the airport on both flights and was forced to pay a much larger amount that what I normally would have had to pay if the website was working. This excessive fee really makes the option of flying spirit less economical, frustrating, and really obliterates any reason to fly with your airline. Additionally, I was able to purchase seating before my flight- but on my return flight they put me in a seat that I did not pay for. The flight attendant did make a correction. Your staff at the main terminals is consistently extremely slow, unfortunately. I really like the flight attendants, they are always great. However, due to the above mentioned issues I have had recurrently, I will certainly be reluctant to purchase Spirit flights in the future"

Pros: "Absolutely nothing."
Cons: "Their customer service is horrible and virtually nonexistent. They charge for everything including water. I boarded a plane scheduled to take off at 1:30 from Las Vegas. The plan pulled out to the runway and sat there for two hours while maintanence attempted to fix the broken emergency exit lights. After waiting for two hours on the runway the plane proceeded back to the gate. Where we say on the plane for another hour, while the crew constantly reassured us the problem would be fix momentarily. During this time the air conditioning was turned off in order to reboot the whole computer system and being in Vegas the cabin got very hot. I got up and asked the flight attendant and she refused to give me a sip of water. After that hour we were taken off the plane and forced to wait for another hour and a half with only one customer service agent to address passenger's questions. The only answer she could us was "I don't know any details I am just the middle man". Eventually the plane arrived in San Diego 5 hours late. By that time I had already missed the ceremony of a wedding in which I was a groomsman. I got off the plane and rushed to get my bag from the baggage claim only to find that my bag was not there. I went to the spirit help desk in San Diego and nobody was available. So I called spirit customer service in Las Vegas 3 times in a row before a human answered. I was told there was a mix up and my bag was left in Las Vegas. After the whole ordeal of the delayed flight and missing bag. All I was offered was a $50 voucher good towards a spirit airlines. I refused the offer as I would NEVER fly spirit even for free."

Pros: "How easy it was to walk to southwest and buy a ticket since spirit is terrible."
Cons: "Terrible service. First of all, spirit does not participate in TSA precheck. Purchasing a TSA precheck, going through the 2 month wait and background check was completely worthless. Since Spirit airline really strives for that "not your average airline" they refuse to acknowledge TSA precheck like every other airline ever. Then the real spiral began, the flight was delayed due to "weather" because #1 engine would not start in the summer heat. A bullshit excuse for a technical failure so spirit didn't have to refund the flight. Was disappointing watching every other plane take off, I wonder if every single other plane including engine #2 on spirits plane were just lucky to be running that day and the engine #1 that was down was the only one acting as it should in "summer heat" by failing. After boarding the plane waiting on the runway with minimal a/c then being told to exit because of "weather" then sitting around with a rude representative telling everyone to stop asking questions because it's stopping her from figuring out what's wrong. We were then told it's working and boarded for a second time. Again sat inside a packed plane with minimal a/c and were told yet again engine #1 was failing and asked to exit for a second time. After sitting around another hour (4 total) the spirit airline representatives told us the next flight would leave the next day at 1pm. I quickly picked up my luggage and walked to the neighboring gate and purchased a flight on Southwest to get me home. I was soooo lucky I guess their planes could handle the extreme weather. In fact, every single one of their planes was lucky. So, without a voucher, refund or even a "let me fix this for you" from spirit airlines, I finally got home with nothing but a hatred for spirit airlines and their miserable airline. Congratulations on living upto your reputation of being the worst airline. Who knows maybe someone will contact me from all this and maybe change that outlook. Or atleast rectify being so poorly treated as a customer. Unfortunately, it's going to be another hot day tomorrow and I wouldn't count on Spirits customer service working properly in such extreme weather. -Tomas Alires Tomasalires@hotmail.Com"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Most of all of spirit airlines got cancelled because it was too hot for the airplane engines while other airlines and airplanes seem to take off without a problem. We had to wait about 2-3 hours to get information about changing our flight or getting a refund. The worst was that they tried to reschedule for the same flight at the same time tomorrow which we thought we would be the same problem since it would mostly Likley be the same temperature. Spirit airlines couldn't accommodate us with a hotel nor a rental."

Pros: "There was (I believe a Russian Flight Attendant) on the way to San Diego and back, and she was full of spunk, personality, friendly and fun!!! She made the difficult time fun."
Cons: "My flight was 2 hours delayed, so I arrived to San Diego at midnight! There was an elderly woman with her grandchild behind me that kept allowing the infant to slam the little metal table into the back of my chair and no flight attendant noticed, though she did it repeatedly and for a LONG TIME! People with children on board should be watched some because they often allow child to play with parts of the plane that are not toys and make other passengers uncomfortable. While I appreciate the prices of the food sold, there could be maybe better selections for a slightly higher price, butt I was relieved you had Ramen. That helped hold me over!!"

Pros: "Absolutely nothing"
Cons: "Customer service is horrible. You get what you pay for. My first encounter was with the greeter who was extemely rude. I have never flown with Spirit and had questions about the baggage costs. Her response to me was rude and condescending unlike the other carrier I had flown with the day prior. I arrived to my gate 1 1/2 hours prior to my flight time. I had been checking the board as my flight was delayed since the morning. I went to grab something to eat close to my terminal (listening to all the announcements) and when I got back I was told my flight had already departed. I question how that was so since I was there and had not heard anything. They changed the gate number my flight was leaving from and moved up the time. She proceeded to rip up my boarding passes. I asked what my options were and in her rude tone she answered "well you can rent a car and start driving". Never again....and I will be sure to pass along my experience as others tried to warn me."

Pros: "The only good thing was the nice agent who tried to help me get a new flight"
Cons: "My flight was cancelled. No reason given except weather and the tower. Other flights were leaving with no problem. It was cancelled as I went through security so I ahd no idea until another passenger at the gate told me. Everyone else had gone back down to the ticket counter to figure out a new flight. After waitng in line an hour I was told there was not another flight out unitl the next night. Also told I could have just called and gotten my refund instead of standing in line. I surprised my son with a day trip to lego land. I was flying out of san diego the next night. I had to leave that day from vegas. Because of the cancellation I had to rent a car and driv from las vegas to san diego. We got in late and missed our time playing at the beach and swimming. This was my only experience with spirit and I will never fly this airline again. It was absolutely horrible the way the cancellation was handled. You messed up my entire weekend with my son."
