Pros: "The flight attendants were very attentive and polite, seats are some of the most comfortable of any airline I've flown (particularly compared to the US domestics), entertainment is solid (although the English movie selection was not that large), and we were regularly offered food and drink if we were awake. I would definitely recommend JAL to others."

Pros: "Their customer service is excellent! when I left my card (fell out of my pursue while in transit), they called me immediately! After a long vacation, exploring. I was extremely tired and and left my phone completely on silent for 4 days, and within those 4 days they called and left me messages. Lucky I live here in Hawaii, can you imagine being a tourist and you lost your card? Excellent customer service."

Cons: "The headphone jacks are temperamental. If I put the headphone jack all the way in the port it would only play in the right ear of my headphone. On my flight to Tokyo and on my flight home the same thing happened. You has to pull the headphone jack out slightly to get sound in both earbuds."

Pros: "The food on this flight was horrible. Big disappointment. Usually, the food on Japan Airlines is wonderful. However, on this flight, the food was a crab/mayo sandwich with yogurt. However, the service was wonderful, as always."

Cons: "I didn't like the way the personnel at the check in counter in Dallas. Hannah didn't seem too helpful. I don't know if she was new but she seemed reluctant to help me when I couldn't find my luggage tags. I told her I wanted a kid's meal for my son but she didn't process the request. He did not get a child meal."

Cons: "The seats were horrific. We flew economy because anything of an upgrade is ridiculously expensive. The seats were so tiny with NO leg room at all. I couldn't even fit my purse under the seat in front of me. I have had more space on Southwest flights. My husband, who is 6'1" could barely get his knees in front of him. This is insane for a 10 hr flight...worse on the way to Japan for a 13 hr flight. Also, not a whole lot of drink service. i was dying for water but it is very difficult to get out of the middle seat to find it. Would NOT book again on this airline."
Pros: "Plenty of leg room, which as a tall person I truly appreciate. They give you slippers, blanket, pillow on every (international?) flight. I flew Korea to Japan and Japan to Hawaii. Got free meals on all flights, even my short two hr flight between Korea and Japan. Free booze too! Super nice check in agent as well."

Pros: "I've been always flying with U.S. airlines this past several years just because transits are easier. I forgot about how friendly and nicer JAL crews are. Their food is much much better. They served us with a cup of Haagen-Dazs icecream for dessert while a Fatboy is normally served by other airlines. I was impressed by how spacious the foot area of their economy seat is. Because I felt quite comfortable, I slept five hours straight during the flight which is phenomenal to me. I will definitely fly with JAL again!"

Pros: "I had only 30 minutes transaction time at Busan airport, and was not sure that I could catch my plane. The crew at the airport were very helpful, and a lady brought me to the security gate, and run out and checking in for me. With their help, I was able to catch the planes and arrived my destination on schedule. Thank you so much."
Pros: "I always find the service on Japan Airline to be excellent. What I really liked, and didn't expect, was that there was individual inflight entertainment systems. Most other carriers on short flights out of Busan don't have that available, so it was a nice option. The meals were excellent!"

Pros: "checking in at chicago ohare ord was a nightmare.there were only 12 of us in line yet the wait exceeded 1 hour , we watched as the airlines next to us processed well over 150 passenger's while the japan airline moved slower than snail sex. it was painfully beyond slow."
Pros: "This airline is the most professional I have seen so far. They are extremely accommodating, very helpful, and very attentive. I didn't realize how orderly the Japanese culture is. We took off immediately. The ground crew actually waves bye and bows! No one in the sloppy US does that! They were very professional and juse down right respectful. Food and snacks were served often. Even good coffee!"

Worked so much better than everyone rushing to get on! Flight attendants were very helpful with everything and always kind. Loved being able to sit in the exit row seats!!"

Cons: "The plane aisle is a bit tight and cramp and it is hard to move around. The chair in economy is not very comfortable very sturdy lack of cushion and back support. Leg room is ok, not as roomy as the flight from SFO to South Korea. When we boarded there was a strong smell burning fumes from the A.C. (air condition) that trigger my asthma and landed in Cebu very ill with asthma and allergy."

I took a 14.5 hour flight that felt like a 5 hour flight. Korean Air's attention to detail sets the bar for all airlines"

Cons: "Although I had already checked in on line and had a boarding pass, I stood in line for ninety minutes at Incheon just to self-drop a bag. That's just not acceptable. I'd avoid Incheon and Korea Air for future flights for this reason."

They are very strict about safety things. Even on a short 3 hour evening flight they provide a pillow and blanket for your comfort."

Cons: "The web/mobile check in is convenient. Although morning flights have a long bag drop line. Many arrive before before the counter is open. Bag drop counter should open earlier. If people arrive 2hours early, then bag drop opens 3hrs earlier than the first flight of the day."

Less than$650 R/T during the Off Season. Plus, Good Selection of On Board Movies and Programs. Prompt and Courteous Service from the Korean Airlines Ladies. Took Off On Time, and Arrived On Time. Actually, on the way back, we got in early by 35 Mnts. Will Definitely Book Again With Korean Airlines. No Regrets !"

Pros: "KA broke handle in my luggage and it was difficult to make them pay back some reasonable amount of money for that (my suitcase was just one year old) but at the end they did a lot. Love their metal cutlery instead of plastic ones. It's not only better to eat with them but also better for environment."
