Cons: "Dusseldorf to Warsaw: Boarding terrible including assistance and messaging. - Boarding chaos - Late flight out of Dusseldorf (about an hour) - Just before landing, pilot announced all connections would be made - (and even mentioned chicago) - Connecting flight was gone when I arrived at gate, and I was quick in getting to gate from prior flight - next flight caused 5 hour layover in Warsaw Warsaw to Chicago Boarding terrible including assistance and messaging. - Boarding chaos - Late flight our ot Warsaw (about an hour) - no messaging at gate about reason for delay - kept increasing departure by 5 minute increments; started at 16:40 ended 17:05 (I beleive) - once boarding was complete, pilot said delay was due to wait for connections (boarding was an hour and 15 minutes late). Very frustrated"

Cons: "Food was terrible. If you’re flying to America, serve American style meals. I missed my connecting flight because we were delayed by 45 minutes but Polish Airlines didn’t provide a hotel voucher so I had to pay for a hotel out of pocket. Rude flight attendants and overall, very uncomfortable experience. I will pay the difference and fly SWISS next time."

Pros: "Overall everything was good - I have travelled frequently with LOT in the past few months and this was perhaps the best experience so far. Boarding was easy enough - the flight was not fully booked so there wasn't the usual Central European pushing and anxiety during boarding. Flight crew are informative, cabin crew attentive and kind. Service and food were good."
Cons: "Comfort on these long haul flights is not expected in economy - the seat next to me was free which came in very useful as the person in front of me reclined almost immediately and kept throwing himself about in his seat in vain attempts to get comfortable - I was able to move over so I wasn't disturbed by his person. Why they have reclining seats is a mystery - it doesn't make it appreciably more comfortable for the person reclining and it reduces leg room for the person behind, makes it more difficult to watch the screen (despite the tilting feature) and means that the tray table is resting on your knees during meal times."

Cons: "Initially the entertainment system was not working. The crew was notified that screens are not working, so they rebooted it once. After some time, my and my daughters screens were still not working. We used call button to get crews attention. However, no one was paying attention to the lights. At some point there were 8 blue lights on throughout our cabin calling for assistance. I got attention by waving my hand and asking for help. I told 3 different times re my screen. They stated that they just rebooted the system and it will be working soon. My next seat neighbors were hour into their movies. No one did come back and check if I'm Ok if problem got resolved. Then they were even ignoring us and not offering drinks at this point. I felt like I got punished for asking for help. That's when I asked for crew person in charge. She was kind and offered to move to economy plus. We did move for majority of the flight. Enjoyed entertainment. However, when there was 1.5 h left of our trip, they woke us up and asked to move back to our seats since the meal plans are upgraded in this section. I was shocked, somewhat embarrassed to move back. I felt like a person that likes to cause trouble/ complainer being punished. Since we purchased full price ticket like everyone, we should be able to enjoy it like everyone. Airline should compensate clients, if there's issue with airplane. Flight to LT was good, however going home was extremely unnecessarily stressful. I'll try my best NOT to fly LOT in the future."
Cons: "Our return flight was with LOT Airlines, that is why we had to fly with them one more time! Never again! We boarded on time but then we waited for 30 minutes over the departure time, at the gate, inside the plane with no explanation. When finally the captain says 'boarding completed' aaand we wait another 30 minutes without explanation. Finally after one hour from our initial departure time we departed. In total 2 hours waiting in the plane, no water because it took the crew another hour to prepare to serve drinks! Flight was supposed to leave at 16:50, we got water around 19:00. Shame! Food is horrible, service is bad! We landed 2 hours later then we were supposed to. It seems that being late and not give explanations it's something that it's characteristic for polish airlines!"
Pros: "Staff were pleasant and attentive. Water was offered several additional times through the 9-hour flight, as well as the usual beverage cart. Good selection of movies"
Cons: "Very, very cramped seating. Extraordinary measures needed to even try to maneuver arms to try to eat. Food provided sustenance but no pleasure. Seriously, you should just serve pierogies and everyone would be happy. Desserts were actually quite tasty."

Cons: "The flight was one hour delayed and during boarding most of the time only one person checked us all in for a full dreamliner. There were at least four other LOT employees standing around who could have pitched in. I had a window seat with a large man next to me who overflowed into my space making it uncomfortable to just sit. I couldn't even cut my meat without bumping him. Because LOT upgraded random people before the flight, I would suggest they wait until they board and see who doesn't fit in the tight space and move those people."

Onboard announcements seemed overly frequent and used maybe twice as many words as needed — multiply that by each announcement repeated in two to three languages, and it made for a tedious process compared with other international flights/airlines. Fewer free snacks on offer compared with other international flights/airlines as well."

Cons: "Too many kids and parents that think other passengers must put up with their kids. The "new system" spilt up my wife and I and we sat in different rows. Nobody seemed to be able to fix it and told us we could have booked our seat 24 hrs in advance online but the 24hr advanced option had 0 available seats. Why is it acceptable for any company to think that, when booking two or more people under one reference/ booking number, its ok to split up the people on that booking...? Would a car rental place give me two cars because they wouldn't want my wife and I to be in the same car??? When I explained my frustration, They all agreed with me, that they would be just as frustrated but nobody could do anything about it. A lady next to me (again, not my wife as she was in a different row) ordered a special meal that was not filled for her. She ate two rolls and the flight crew was not prepared for a mistake someone made with the prearranged food order. It is not a waste of money to have an extra few meals on the plane to accommodate "emergency" issues like someone forgetting to read their "to do" list with special needs. LOT Polish Airlines had become a disappointment for many passengers. Not my first flight with them and seems that they get worse every time I'm in one of their airplanes. Probably will look for other airline options when traveling to Poland in the future."

Cons: "Was asked to do random security screening at gate which delayed my boarding behind other passengers who I should have boarded before. This was the second time I was screened in Warsaw in the last two months. I believe this is due to racial profiling."

Cons: "The temperature was way too hot at times (economy class), and I don't get hot easily. One bathroom ran out of toilet paper. The entertainment system stopped working about 45 minutes prior to landing, and no effort was made to restore it, nor communication about what had happened and that it wouldn't be restored. No information was given about the meal choices via speakers, so I did not have time to consider the best option. No information was given about whether there would be a second meal or just a snack (e.g. 6 pretzels), so I had just eaten a carry-on snack when they brought the second meal. The pilot information speaker volume was set to be at maximum. Since even the lowest headset volume was too loud for my ears, it hurt and gave me a fright when my movie got interrupted so loudly."

Cons: "-The entertainment device was too loud, even at the lowest volume setting; and I couldn't adjust the volume for the crew/pilot announcements, so when I was watching something and it switched to an announcement it would play at the loudest setting and hurt my ears. -The movie selection was terrible and it would be nice if there were more tv show selections. -The food wasn't very good (but what can you expect with airplane food...)"

One complain about the Boeing Dreamliner (not really Lot's fault): the new light sensitive windows can't be shut and can't fully block the light. When flying with the sun directly pointing on the windows some light still goes through and it's harder to fall asleep, plus it gets fairly hot"
