I asked why are all the seats seperated and their answer was I don't know and I can't do anything about it. I requested for change of seats since my children are minors and their response was 'change by yourself after you board'. After complaining several times and emphasizing that it is against the law to have minor sit by themselves, they reluctantly allocated new seats with "this guy is a pain in the ass" look. I never had experienced anything like this before!"

Cons: "Delta employee who drive shuttle to connection stopped to drop off a passenger and proceed to chat w other workers thereby getting me to my gate late and missing my connection and getting me to Florida almost 3 hours later than planned. Agents at desk in JFK were rude. There was another Delta employee also on the shuttle who was the only one who seemed to show concern. He alerted the driver, called the boarding gate and led me to it."

The fact that I was not able to select a seat, nor did I have one assigned to me until prior to an hour before boarding, gave me a bit of anxiety. I don't think it's fair to take away this option to those that get the "cheap, standard" tickets."

Pros: "Many passengers did not have seat assignments and we also ran out of over head storage resulting in many additional bags to be checked at the gate(mine included) but the crew and staff at the desk inside laguardia work quickly and efficiently to get everyone boarded and we ended up landing 15 minutes early."

Cons: "Flight was scheduled to leave early, the plane arrived, but they couldn't turn the plane around fast enough. We left the gat late, then pilot said we would still be arriving half an hour early. We arrived about 45 minutes late, and that was a problem because our connecting flight was due to depart now in 15 minutes. Lightning forced the airport to shutdown, which was great, we had a chance to catch our flight, but we were stuck in the airplane, and we couldn't get to our gate until the all-clear. I know this is not Delta's fault, but they did arrive quite late on a flight that, according to them, would be early. They also never communicated to the other flight that there were several passengers catching that connection. So by the time we had ran to catch our connection they had closed the ramp. Lightning hit again, and they shutdown the airport once again, so the airplane was still at the gate for about an hour, and they did not allow the 20+ passengers to board that plane, which was right there. So frustrating. The only thing that saved it was that our new flight was the new airbus, and although it left an hour and a half later, the comfort level was phenomenal."

Cons: "When we arrived in LGA, the luggage conveyor belt was broken and luggage was piled up and driven to another terminal. As a result half of our luggage did not arrive on our flight but arrived on subsequent flight. However, one bag was nowhere to be found and Delta staff could not clarify the issue. They did find it next day and delivered to the FLL airport, but we had to get a cab and go to the airport to pick-up as we could not take a chance of it not making it to us before the cruise departure. I am extremely disappointed"

Cons: "I wasn't able to choose my seat even though I bought my ticket a while back. Seat assignments were given at the gate and we were never given a real reason for this. I ended up in a middle seat sandwiched between people, and the man at the end slept the entire time, making it difficult to get up and walk around which I need to do as I am prone to DVTs."
Pros: "Good service for us... when it came to boarding and flying, the staff were great for us."
Cons: "However, one flight attendant was extremely rude in addressing a passenger who was not fluent in English. She was asking the passengers in the exit row if they were willing and able to help in the event of an emergency, and when he could not follow her (pretty quick) question, she grew very inpatient and just told him he needed to move to another seat if he didn't know English. She did not repeat her question or give him a chance to express himself. Before he could say anything else, another passenger volunteered to switch seats with him, so that matter was settled. But when another attendant asked what the commotion had been (the attendant had raised her voice a bit), she yelled across the plane that this man does not speak English, sounding very inpatient. I found it very rude, and although it did not happen to me, no amount of exasperation short of an emergency merits the response of that flight attendant. All the other flight attendants were polite though."

Cons: "On an 8 hour flight there’s no complimentary meal. I paid for a meal and it was worse than free plane food and starved for the rest of the trip. The chairs were horribly uncomfortable with no lower back support and we were not even given pillows and blankets. There was also no free entertainment. I rented a tablet and had it taken away an hour before landing while I was in the middle of a movie. I might have been ok with that if the flight attendant had politely asked for it back rather than rudely waving and pointing while I stared at her blankly trying to figure out what she wanted. Next time I’ll pay a bit more for an airline that respects its passengers and our comfort."
Cons: "Let me see, waited over an hour for a flight to catch up from Ottawa. Now flight to Vancouver over an hour late, gets in about 10 minutes before flight to Hong Kong leaves. So they say will wait for us as flight not full. Nope, flight leaves without 7 of us. Got the " don't know what happened" look. So they give us a $60 dollar food voucher, and take us to hotel because now must wait 12 hours for next flight. Tell us to be in lobby at a certain time to catch shuttle back to airport. Time comes, sorry no room, and buggers off. They call taxis, when drivers find drive for vouchers, tell us to load own baggage! Not likely to fly West Jet again."

Cons: "I didn't like that someone was reclining in there seat in front of me and it was so far down that it was uncomfortable even to sit in my seat or get to my table. Also was very disappointed that I had to pay for food even though it was way over 8 hours, in the end didn't even bother about food was not much of a choice. Also no TV on this long haul flight was really disappointed again, so I had to pay for a tablet was hugely disappointed. Needed more leg room was cramped on this flight."

Cons: "The floor board was literally freezing (a man using the vents to cool his wine bottle). Many voiced their concerns and attendants were responsive, but it never got fixed. Perhaps a plane operation issue. So I was uncomfortable the entire flight along with everyone around me. When asked if they had a blanket to use, the only option was to purchase. Again, not any of the attendants problems - they were respectful. It seems like more of a company issue perhaps."

We experienced turbulence during the flight and there was no communication from the pilot found that a bit odd. Just to set everyone's mind at ease I expected something to be said from the cockpit."

I complained but we were well into our flight when we told the stewardess she did not get back to us regarding changing seats. She came back about 20 minutes laterwith unacceptable seats,far from our overhead and we could not sit together. We declined. My husband had to board early because his foot was in a special brace after recent surgery. They could only move him to a center seat where he would hae to risk someone stepping on his foot. We are 70 years old.We had one small meal on an 8.5 hour flight."

Pros: "A380 planes hold far too many people for the capacity of the departure terminal making the gate experience sonewhat of a spill over. Seating maps at check in did not make available a single seat close to us for a third member of our party who had booked an equal ticket on a separate booking. Yet after n boarding there were seats physically available that were not offered by check in staff. Meal trash was left for far too long before collection in our seats which was upper deck final rear cabin. Plane noise during flight was very low, excellent. Miami Airport is a logistical immigration process nightmare. We look forward to BA using FLL instead directly from the UK."

Cons: "The designer of the business class seats used by British Aiways is surely an acrobat who flies no longer that's two hours. And those at British Aiways who bought into this design probably don't fly at all. Passengers who are sitting in a window seat must literally walk over the passenger in the aisle seat in order to get to the aisle. Flight attendants must serve the passengers on window seats right over those sitting in the aisles. The seats are narrow, and if you're sitting in the aisle, you don't even have a space to put your bottle of water or reading glasses. I can go on and on. This is my last flight on British if I can manage."

We told the agents three times our flight was boarding, however, they were almost nasty and would not expedite us. they finally started to call our flight and we were pulled from the line, even then it was very disorganized how we were processed. We had to run through security and the long terminal and along with others in our flight that had been in line, were the last to board as the flight was delayed waiting for us. One of the worst experiences ever. They really need to do something about their check in process as we were not the only ones subjected to these delays. The plane had technical problems landing and had to be towed in but thank God we made it."

This was a customer service fail. American is no better. They rescheduled the flight at no cost, but then sent you back to LATAM for help with the overnight. If we buy tickets from your website and you own the process, you should be more helpful when there are problems. The back-and-forth was frustrating. Lima airport takes a long time to go through all the checkpoints. Two hours does not give enough time. There are at least four long lines that have to be endured. This process could use some streamlining."

It was of size to cram into my carry on so I did that, but American staff demonstrated concern, had a sense of humor and helped me get a comfortable seat to sort of take some of the sting away. All that was great of them I was aware of being in an upgraded seat. No complaints, but it stung a little because I was deeply aware of the reinforcement of class. The small, extra comforts were wonderful and I wish everyone had them while risking their lives together over the ocean - especially the extra room At times, on the way over I felt a claustrophobic panic. But to stay positive, they were kiind, sympathetic, funny, sweet. I appreciate them."

Cons: "At the Lima gate they made each passenger open their carryon and submit to a secondary inspection to confiscate all water we bought past security. No warning was given about this. I had paid airport prices for water to bring onto the plane and then had to surrender it at the gate. Of course in economy class they will not give you water or attention until you are at cruising altitude. More than one flight attendant did not smile and one was actually rude in spite of my attempts to be kind and smile. Except for one friendly person at check-in kiosk, bad service overall. They do not have personal entertainment systems, and it was like going back in time with the tiny screens you cannot see, playing a movie you either watch it or not."
Cons: "My flight from SFO to Miami was delayed so I missed my connection to Rio and now I’m NYC on my birthday instead of my final destination. The flight status was changed 7 times. And AA said they would get my bag off but they did not and now I have to wait at JFK and hope it got rerouted here. And if it didn’t to hope it can on another flight before I hopefully actually get on a flight for Rio. Nobody has comped me for losing a day in Rio and for my hotel room. And this has been the worst flight exeperience or my life which unfortunately landed on my birthday. One I’ll remember in a sad and bad way. American Airlines refused to compensate me because I got my tickets via Kayak and I haven’t been able to find a number to complain to a Kayak agent whom I sure would say I had to contact American Airlines and nobody would help or take responsilvitu for this disaster."

I had to actually call American and spend time with a Representative providing all the data to be able to get my American Airlines flight booking code so I could check in online. American as always was great! Shame on Kayak!"

When I got on the plane I saw plenty of space AND when I got to Bogota my bag wasn't there. My carry on had my most important belongings for in case other luggage was lost. It's not faire that other passengers get to carry on suitcases and a personal item and I can not being my small backpack. It's very inconvenient since my rain gear, my shoes and my Phone chargers are in that bag."

I sat back and watched as the mob tried to board asking each other which group was boarding which no one knew. When I got up to board I asked and was told, "I held up two fingers". Personally I think using the intercom would work much better. I was thinking this was just a one time deal, however they handled it the same way on the return flight. This was the first time I used American, so I do not know if this is their standard policy, but this issue and a long list of others will make me think twice before I use them again."

Every other airline I'm on tries to speed up boarding if the plane is already late. I was amazed that they didn't even add a second agent to the gate."

Pros: "Legroom on the AC Jazz CRJ-705s is amazing. It's within an inch of what you would pay upwards of $50 for on carriers like United for 'Economy Plus', but standard with every seat on this plane. Having seat back entertainment on this RJ is always extremely appealing (especially on a 4 hour flight like mine), and the movie selection is fine."
Cons: "I was in seat 20F on this CRJ-705, which is an exit row. It's not news that exit rows tend to get cold during the flight, but the air coming out at my feet near the door was absolutely frigid. I wish I had stuck a water bottle or something down there, I honestly believe it could have frozen. Needless to say I was happy to be on the ground to thaw my extremely cold toes. If you like to wear open toed shoes flying, never ever ever sit on an exit row window seat! On a different note, I was annoyed AC didn't even provide a nominal snack during the flight. They had a standard complimentary beverage service, but only food for purchase on a 4 hour flight."
