Did anybody actually test these things out by sitting in them for over 10 minutes?"

This was a terrible inconvenience. I have never experienced anything like this by any other airline. I have no idea why they did not just leave it off to the side (like every other airline does)."

I still don't know where my bag is. The plane was supposed to land at 12:45, and I left the airport at 3:30 and missed an important work meeting."

We were actually told as we were deboarded "stay near by because we will leave without you" WITH zero time frame. I would rather pay a thousand dollars for a ticket then fly spirit airlines again."

My biggest beef is water. I just wanted some courtesy water which I thought is like an universal right, but was told that if I wanted water, i had to buy a $3.00 bottle. Seriously guys? That is just ridiculous."

On my way to baggage claim I remembers I had it in my lap and thus exited the plane with it still on my seat. I immediately alerted airline staff but they returned saying it wasn't found. Yet, the next passengers were not yet boarding. I call that stealing."

On outgoing flight from New Orleans they were 2 hours late leaving, then boarded and then announced the pilot wasn't on board and they would have to wait til they arrived - for what turned out to be almost an hour, during which time they turned off the air so the plane was hot, stuffy and cramped, and water was available only for purchase. I called and emailed the company - no response. Terrible service, not worth the proposed savings because other costs equal out - cramped cabin, poor quality, no customer service to reach."

When I asked for help the desk attendant said I can look on my phone for available flights. So I didn't feel like the staffed cared at all. The flight back went without a delay but the airplane felt very cramped and with no entertainment to distract us from our 4 hour flight. When I did finally order a coffee and muffin the flight attendant staired at me like I wasn't speaking English. And passed everything to me 1 by 1 in the most awkward uncomfortable way. I don't know how exactly to describe it but it was incredibly strange and not very professional. Over all I won't be flying with this airline again."

The seats on this plane were awfully uncomfortable - very hard. They announced once in the air you can change seats but the flight attendant told me the seat I wanted to move to which the entire row left and right were open were being blocked off for an emergency. Then the flight attendants sat in these seats reading their books. That is pure BS customer service. Everything has a price. No complementary beverage, nuts or anything. You are better off booking with a better known airline that includes everything and the seats are probably much more comfortable. Doubt I will ever fly Spirit again."

This was the first time I've flown with Spirit and it will be the last. I should have known better than to not book with Delta or Southwest. Even though you lure customers in with your initial low price but than you nickel and dime the customers to death with fees for everything and the extreme high cost for luggage, that your initial ticket price became higher than the other two carriers initial price. Shame on you!"

Cons: "I booked a round trip flight through spirit from July 2nd to July 4th for a friend's wedding. Found out the night before my flight that it was cancelled due to "mechanical failure." Since it was on a holiday weekend, all of spirit's other flights for the day were full and customer service (which is also terrible) would not put me on another airline. They offered a refund, which I accepted and have yet to receive, but I had to fork out another $120 to get another last minute flight. And of course they did not offer to cover the extra cost. Tl;dr - booked a flight with spirit because it was cheap and ended up almost missing my friend's wedding because my flight was cancelled."
