Delta is a great airline with great options to fit travelers budget/comfort

Cons: "Booked ticket through venture card points. This meant that the email address and phone number to contact us in the event of changes was mediocre information. I was informed from Tripit that the flight was delayed, not by Delta. Reservation personnel took logical course of action to find new flight for connection that we could make because of delayed initial flight. I would recommend that they first see if there is an earlier initial flight that the customer could make, then look at finding later connecting flights. We found out about delay 8 hours prior, so we had plenty of time to get to the airport earlier. Total delay required me to take additional day off of work."

Cons: "The temperature in the plane was too hot and made for a very uncomfortable flight. The individual air conditioner spewed out hot air. My kids and I took off as much clothing as possible and still remained hot. We were putting ice on our wrist to try to cool down! I sat with my hand against the window to capture some cool air. We were in Row 37. I am not sure if we were in a hot seat or if the other passengers experienced the same."
Cons: "Delta airlines has very poor costumer service. THE WORST I HAVE EXPERIENCED. I wasn't the only one feeling this way, I witness a couple people fighting on the phone like me. When my 1st flight was delayed I asked to be rebooked then and the delta employee insisted that I would make my connection. I didn't make it. This is not all. I could have gotten to a near city several hours after but on the same day, but the mediocrecy of this employes did not allow me to get there until the next day at 7 am. Happy new year to me. This two women (or one of them) on the phone, lied to me. There was an option to get me here and one of them failed to do their job right AND LIED TO MY FACE ON THE PHONE. Just unacceptable. I will sue them, I had an under age waiting for me in Cancun and a pet with me!. With no food or access to do its necessities. AND THERE WAS AN OPTION THAT "they missed" on porpuse."
Pros: "I was bowled over to learn in flight that the lowly steerage (economy) passengers--and everyone else had a selection of 3 complimentary meals! Who does that any more! Unfortunately, the only vegan option ran out just before my seat, but I was still amazed and pleased....and have ordered a vegan meal in advance for my next flight. Incredible! Plus, plenty of room for bags, good video selections, and power at all seats. I love Delta and will fly them more often!"

Cons: "Plane food was not good. The crew were not as friendly, almost exhausted. There was one woman who was not sensitive or compassionate to my fellow seat mate. He was an older man who needed extra assistance. From the look of her face she didn't feel like helping him... as simple as helping him pour ice into his cup. Instead I helped my fellow neighbor. She might not feel comfortable helping a senior citizen but don't be so loud or make a face of disgust."

It's nice that they serve a complimentary meal on the red eye flight but the quality of the food was bad. Flight got delayed made me miss my layover paid to not have a super long layover ended up having to sit for 6 hours waiting on a flight

Cons: "The lines were too long for a 75 year old. I have recheck but did not get it with American. Security was madness, no one keeping social distance in spite of all your lovely signs. The staff giving directions on the moving table was unintelligible to me and so i left my iPad in my bag and had to spend 20 minutes tearing my bag apart . The gate was the only one not listened on the departure board and so i went the wrong way into the wrong Gs. There was no one around to check with, no one to ask and when i realized i went the wrong way i had to run back . At 75. I was the last one on board. No one helped me. The only friendly and helpful staff i met was Peter on the Chicago to LaCrosse flight. Very disappointed."

I downloaded the united app, and it tells me my flight is not just through american airlines, but through another carrier, american freedom or aomething like that. Very confusing. I called someone, I think american airlines, by this time completely confused. If there are multiple carrier types, I should be able to input my flight number and my info ahould come up for me to view flight info and check in, or seat assignment. In the end I dowloaded 2 or 3 apps, a confusing phone call, and when i got to rhw intial check in I was not treated well by tsa personnel. Maybe my name triggered thw extra search or something.Anyway, that last part is unrelated but my return flight was kind of a struggle."

Sometimes they give the gate numbers and everybody on that plane needed to go somewhere. the attendants were not helpful, the one announcer had an accent, a little hard to understand and asked that we all be kind...ok that I can do."

Cons: "Despite having a purchased ticket and a seat, I showed up to the airport because I was having problems checking in online. When I arrived at the kiosk it did not print a boarding pass, instead a slip stating I had missed my check-in timeframe and head to the front. I went to the front assuming the counter clerk would resolve the issue but she advised that the only thing she could do is book me on the next flight since the flight was over booked. I was really upset about the situation since I had to be at an event at a specific time. Just make sure you check in as soon as you can. If you are having issues on your phone, call the airline or head to the airport about an hour and a half to two hours early to get your boarding pass."

Flew United Airlines. Was planning to get some work done on the flight. Had to use the flashlight on my smartphone because the overhead light for my seat would only stay on for a couple seconds before turning off. Just another example of United not maintaining their planes like they used to.

United was not willing to do anything for me for the inconvenience (except hand out blankets)...so I slept in the airport until the next available flight at 8 a.m. the next more...I hope."
Cons: "My flight was canceled because of the hurricane in Houston which was completely understandable. Trying to rebook a flight was one of the worst experiences I've had on the phone. Over 2 hours on hold only for United to tell me to call back inside 24 hours of my requested departure (which was about 12 hours outside of the time I called). Bad customer service all around, both Kayak and United."

Cons: "United and SAS are really separate and hard to manage reservation. Seats changed from what I purchased and it was uncomfortable. I don't think I will do a mixed airline flight again even though they quote them as a Star Aliance. Also, flying through Chicago ORD is not great. The international terminal is completely separate so you have to take a train, pour out water, enter security (and they don't have a TSA Pre). All around uggh."

Cons: "On my flight back during taking off, I was throwing a trash away into a little bag that is also designed for vomiting. When I pushed a trash into the bag, I felt that it was already wet. Somebody vomited into it at the previous flight and placed it back to the seat's packet. I am not telling that it was the cleaning crew's mistake because it looked like unused until I pushed my hand into it, but it was still a very unpleasant experience and could be also a health hazard."

We at 29,000 feet, we're ahead of schedule, we are going to arrive 30 minutes early. Then we arrive early sit on the tarmac, because guess what was at our gate; ANOTHER AIRPLANE! All his rushing and interruption were a waste. The ground team had him wait 200 feet away from the gate for another period of time. We arrived three to five minutes early, at 7:30 PM. Very unpleasant flight."

Layover in LA went 3-4 hours longer than expected so I ended up getting in a lot later than expected, meaning I had less time to spend with my wife. I missed my flight on my way back - I think when everyone was boarding, I somehow misinterpreted the digital sign that said "Ontario" to mean that they were boarding for Ontario. I had to sleep in the airport that night because I missed the flight - most uncomfortable experience ever! I paid for United's lounge but they weren't open 24/7. Then they almost didn't let me in the next morning to the lounge because technically it was only for that 1 night, even though I had been at the airport all the same. Lesson learned - maybe I should just drive to SD rather than fly."

Pros: "The crew was very attentive and the pilot kept us informed at all times. For example, we got to Dayton early and we sat on the Tarmac for about five minutes as there was another plane there. That was no problem. But, after plane left we sat there until it was time for us to arrive before ground crew came out. Then, we waited 20 minutes for our baggage. That was not your fault. That was the fault of the airport as it has happened to me before. The pilot was very apologetic and kept us informed. I appreciated that very much."

Cons: "Feel like I got conned & ripped off over set upgrade at the checkin kyiosk. Offered an economy upgrade for $79 which actually was $94. I selected seat by window that had no other passengers listed in the seating aisle but somehow in the short period of time I upgrade & walked to gate a middle eastern family with 4 kids, none over 4yrs of age happen to book the seats in my aisle. It was not comfortable & definitely not an upgrade worthy of the xtra $ having kids kicking my chair, yelling, & crying majority of the trip. Had an extreme migraine when finally landed in Houston."
Pros: "Once in the air the flight was great."
Cons: "1/2 hr before boarding should have occurred we were notified of a delay- 1/2 hr. I knew I was going to miss my connection and asked, and told if I did they would put me on the next one out an hr later, but could not nor would not address it until necessary. When we arrived, they informed me of the gate to go to... which we ran to... and when we got to there were told the plane left 15 minutes ago."

Cons: "I checked in for both my flights before departing on my red eye. When I landed in Newark I found out I had been bumped from my connection to Portland because United had oversold my flight. The next confirmed flight they could put me on to Portland was the next morning, 24 hours later! I ended up flying to Boston and taking a bus up to Portland, arriving seven hours after I was supposed to, exhausted. United customer service was indifferent and unhelpful. I will never fly United again, no matter the cost difference."
