It just ends up in more work for your gate agents to put us together as well as you can before the flight. This happened on the flight out and the flight back. Also, on the flight back the agent and crew had to bump people who had already established themselves in their assigned seats in order to fit us in in a sane way. Also, don't make us download a sketchy app to view in-flight entertainment. There are ways to deliver entertainment that don't require installation of software for just a flight. Not that it matters to us, because entertainment wasn't available on the flight to cabo."

Even as a tiny, short person, it was uncomfortable. For anyone of normal stature it would be torture. Paying for a "better" seat appears to provide very little if any added benefit, just keeps your party together. There is no entertainment, movies, music, or wifi so bring your battery pack charger. There is only expensive junk food to eat. My only option on my coast to coast flight was a red eye. So you arrived just wiped out. So if you do this to save money, in my overall assessment, it's just not worth it. I'll never do it again."

I got in the ticketing/check-in line and was waiting for a while when a clerk asks if anyone was flying to San Diego and that they were in the wrong line. I was redirected to the additional services line, and when I finally saw the clerk, was told that I had missed the 45 minute check-in deadline. They refused to help me look for another flight, and was told my ticket was nonrefundable even though the misdirection was the airline's fault and their lack of communication. They should've posted signs if passengers on a specific flight needed to be in a specific line for check-in. Furthermore, their lack of willingness to rectify the situation was just a poor demonstration of customer service. I will definitely not be flying with Frontier ever again."

Frontier charges you $1.99 with a credit card for a cup of coffee. I flew from DIA to San Diego Dec 23,2015 with a carry on bag. But coming Home from San Diego to DIA Dec 27.2015 my bag grew 2"inches longer and I was forced to pay a extra $45.00. It's was the same carry on bag I took to San Diego. I travel a lot and know many people all over the United States who travel and I would not ever return flying FRONTIER or would I recommend it to anyone else. P.S. I measure my carry one bag before I left Denver. Poor service!!!!!"

What they do not not tell you is that when you purchase an economy ticket, which everyone buys except first class you have to pay for carry on. Your first checked in bag costs $40, any bag after that is $45. So my carry on bag cost $45! Between my husband and I we spent a total of $170 on luggage for two checked bags and two carry ons. So if you are bringing any luggage with you, go on a different airline, you will save money by the end of the day. Also, all drinks and food are for purchase."

Cons: "1) The cost of the carry-on/checked bag. They do not notify you in any way that there are charges for either of these. There is no incentive to bring a carry-on as it is more expensive. The company also doesn't let you know you can get a discounted price if you check your bag online. 2) I wasn't ever sent a 24 hour check in, so I wasn't even offered the deal to check my bag online to get a discount 3) When I tweeted about my disappointment with the hidden baggage fee, I was rudely tweeted back "Correction, it's not that expensive, it's $30 if you check in early" which i was never offered. 4) In my 2 hour flight the attendants didn't even offer drinks until halfway through the flight. 5) I had difficulties making it to the airport an hour and a half before my flight but still made it within an hour. The lady that checked me in told me that I was late, they were going to charge me a fee, and they wouldn't hold the plane for me but i should try and make it there any way. She even wrote "don't hold" on my ticket. I thought i was going to be the last one on the plane the way she scolded me and I ended up being the first of 15 people after me that were running even later than me. Overall, this airline tries to make people feel like they are getting a great discount but after the fees and the rude customer service I am never flying this company again."

Although it not just Spirit Airlines, but I feel as though these additional fees aren't spelled out to the consumer well enough and therefore are somewhat disingenuous in their relationships with their customers."

Cons: "The flight was cancelled ten minutes before boarding with no alternative travel plans recommended. Turns out the discount airline is no longer a discount when you need to purchase another flight (on Alaska, which was wonderful and accommodating) to get to your destination."

Cons: "I never made the flight because only one TSA agent was working. Spirit knew I was not going to make my flight but charged me for my bags and would not refund my money. They are bar none the worst in the industry."

Cons: "My $50 flight turned into $125 after paying a baggage fee and an over weight baggage fee. The only airline I have flown that the baggage weight limit is 40 lbs. I could have flown another airline for this amount."

Pros: "I liked that it was a short flight and it got me where I needed to go"
Cons: "The flight was delayed a few times, they charge for bags, charge for seat selection, charge for snacks, water, or any beverage...it made it very difficult to feel like you were getting any kind of customer service at all when you are nickel and dime'd to death."

Pros: "The pilots and flight attendants were very friendly and I felt they did an excellent job! The pilots were greeting people as they boarded. This is my 2nd time flying with Spirit and I have to say they are better than some of the other airlines I've been on."

Cons: "Every spirit flight I've booked has been delayed or canceled. This is the worst airline I've ever experienced. I will never fly spirit again."

Cons: "Let's start with the fact that I got to the front counter and they did they close the flights an hour early. I had to pay $120 to change the flight. Now instead of flying direct to dfw I was routed through Fort Lauderdale. That was the biggest mistake. I come back and check in later that afternoon. The flight to Detroit had mechanical problems. For some reason it was decided that the Detroit passengers would use the Fort Lauderdale plane. And the Fort Lauderdale passengers had no plane. The next 4 hours were spent in long lines with no ability to book a flight on another carrier. Spirit put us on a flight the next morning that was delayed. I got to Fort Lauderdale around 10 am the next morning. I needed to connect to dallas. I was informed that the next flight would be 8 pm at night! Overall this is a cheap airlines with terrible customer service. I would not recommend anyone fly to international destinations with spirit air"

Cons: "We depart with a 20 minutes delay and charge me for my small baggage"

Pros: "Low cost at first look."
Cons: "Way to many potential fees or up-charges."

Cons: "Seats too close together, no foot room, did not recline at all"

Pros: "The man at the counter was nice enough to upgrade my seat after seeing I was military and had to pay an insane amount for my baggage."
Cons: "I am NOT saying that the military deserves hand outs. We don't, we just do our jobs. I do however feel that the baggage fees were ridiculous. I have never flown with an airline that charges for the overhead bin.The money you "save" on a plane ticket is all added back on with the baggage fees The crew did not appear to be enjoying their flight, which during holidays can be stressful and I understand that, but this is their job. My flight to Texas was absolutely awful, I had children yelling obnoxiously behind me and even the stewardesses noticed, but they didn't say anything even after witnessing the child kicking the back of my seat repeatedly. One of the bathrooms was also out so there was a line of people down the isle. I personally did not like knowing that a bathroom was out of order because it made me wonder, what else was wrong with the plane? I will NOT ever be flying with spirit again."

Pros: "Flight attendants were nice"
Cons: "Seats do not recline, no food, drinks cost money even soda and we were on runway almost two hours in Cancun and an hour after we landed in O'Hare."

Pros: "The walk off the plane."
Cons: "There was no obvious indication before booking these flights that I would need to pay for a bag. That should be in bold letters and flashing at the person buying the ticket. I was very mislead and plan to never use your air line again. Also, my chair area was not cleaned. There was used tissues and a barf bag in front of me the entire flight. I could have gotten sick because of your negligence."

Cons: "They lost my luggage, been 4 days and the customer service has done virtually nothing"

Pros: "Cheap fare"
Cons: "Extremely dry air quality causing itchy dry throat and eyes in multiple passengers. Extremely aloof and poor attitude of flight attendants. Crew was clueless and arrogant about their ignorance on connecting flight information."

Cons: "Though the flight was delayed an hour and a half without notice the flight crew still made it a rather easy flight."

Cons: "It was cancelled and I'm having trouble getting a refund."

Cons: "Having to pay for bags including carry on. Having to pay for seats after I already paid for the flight. Crew was not helpful, they sat in the jump seats during the entire flight. The "fast bag check in" was an hour long. I will make it a point to share my horrible experience with everyone to make sure they do not book with Sprit airline!"

Pros: "If you literary just need to get you on a plane, no bags, and don't care about any in flighy luxury, then sure, fly Spirit. If you need to take any bags whatsoever or care that your flight is half decent, DO NOT fly spirit. Bags are $40 a pop each way, and if they're heavy, you're looking at an additional $25-100 fee. Basically the bags end up costing more than the flight. -7/10 Comfort? You wish. You'd be just as comfortable sitting on concrete. 0/10 In flight snacks, drinks, and other in flight goodies? Well you're gonna have to pay a lot. Are you sensing a theme here yet? You want nuts? Too bad. Gotta pay. A tiny cup of water. Nah, we only have bottled water, gotta pay. But hey, if you're really that hungry or thirsty I guess it's there. 1/10 Air fare? Dont have a car? Need to get somewhere 1000+ miles away quickly. Well you came to the right place. If you just need a flight, and nothing else, you're not gonna get anyone cheaper than Spirit. 10/10 (I feel disguised even saying that) TLDR: Don't fly Spirit. Deceptivly expensive with all there fees. And everything about them pretty much sucks. If you need a budget flight line, Southwest or Frontier are far greater choices."

Pros: "Never given an explanation. Logging on & out of the website and your own personal profile for the airline didn't work, and was an incredible inconvenience for MANY reasons."

Cons: "seated outside the rear toilet and it smelled like I was flying in an overstuffed Porta-Pottie for 4+ hours mon my ride home. Besides that there were very obnoxious kids seated right next to me and in front of me. On the flight to Chicago, there was a kid behind me who kept kicking me in the back all the way there."

Pros: "For short flights, spirit has great deals"
Cons: "90% of the time I fly spirit they have delays... No different on my flights in both legs of the round trip flight..."

Cons: "too much for bagging >they dont have a military discount. >they charged $110 for bagging and said they don't care if i'm military i don't get a discount RIP OFF!!!! DONT RESPECT TROOPS!!"
