Cons: "My flight was delayed because an attendant had to be swapped out, then the replacement was stuck in traffic for an hour (why not have all attendants ready on-airport?). Comically, we taxied on the runway for over an hour, which caused more delays with the plane needing to be de-iced. Figured I'd put all that behind me, but then the flight experienced one of the worst turbulences I've been in. We jerked through the skies many times, and the pilots weren't reassuring. Thankfully we landed okay, but not after being late by multiple hours. Also, JetBlue needs to invest in its planes, esp. its Couch section. I felt like a pretzel with on room to breathe."

And then when the flight attendant who checked me in mocked my 2 layover itinerary and said there was a direct flight to HNL from JFK leaving later that morning, she at least could have tried to sell me a seat on that flight, rather than rudely laugh at me “I guess you can only do what you can do” like I was too poor or something. That was annoying. I’m bored of the JetBlue snack selection it’s been the same for years."

I also shared that I had a very significant cat allergy. The staff continued to be incredibly rude, and eventually offered a single seat in the back, which would not accommodate the two of us. The woman next to us also expressed her extreme discomfort and was condescended and disrespected, as well. Shocking, miserable experience."

Why not solve this problem by asking passengers when they book a seat if they do or don’t want to sit next to pets? Not everyone can do this since many have allergies. Also, this is not hygienic. Very unsatisfied."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed three hours because of air conditioning malfunctioning on the plane. We sat on the tarmac for almost two and a half hours, and it must have been around 85 degrees on the plane. There was a lot of miscommunication about whether we would be switching aircraft. They finally told us to deplane because we were probably going to switch planes. After 15 minutes in the terminal, we reboarded the same plane. Got to LA 3 hours late so had to deal with horrible rush hour traffic, which we had hoped to avoid had we taken off on time."

When I use the Wi-Fi for the Amazon prime option it was very spotty and had to reload quite a bit during the flight from JFK to LAX. They are by Miss clean the staff was good but the entertainment system and the movie choices were very old and not really very interesting."

Cons: "TSA held me up with a 30 minute bag check so I arrived for an 11:30 AM flight at 11:16 AM. I was told that because I was a minute late they wouldn't let me on even though the plane was still in the runway and connected to the terminal. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the agent disappeared for 10 minutes while the plane took off. I then went to go speak to a customer service agent who wouldn't even look at me while I spoke. She actually started listening to and talking with another agent while I was talking to her. Then when I was finished, she started arguing with me until another agent said "he's not worth it." JetBlue just lost my business."

It took them three hours to accomplish that. The hot food had been delivered on time to the plane, so that also sat for three hours. By the time it was served during the flight it had turned to rubber. This was all together a dreadful experience. We missed our connecting flight in Los Angeles and Avianca airlines provided no help on that. ."

Cons: "At take off water from the AC unit started Pouring my seat and my boyfriend’s seat (window and middle row 32 seats K and J). We sprung up to check to see if a water bottle from the overhead compartment was leaking. We were immediately yelled at by crew to sit down because it was take off. They didn’t see the water that was pouring down on us (from where they were seated) and other passengers were also trying to explain to crew members water was pouring down on us- luckily there was no one in the isle seat so we were able to shift one seat over. Otherwise we would have had to sit with water pouring down on us for 30 mon. The crew came over and said they could switch out the seat cushion. But that did nothing really because our clothes were totally soaked and it smelled bad from the water from the AC. Water also go on our electronics (headphones, iPad and phones) So it was a horrible 8 hour flight back to Los Angeles. Really sucks - I was a fan of Avianca - now I’m not impressed with how they maintain their planes or customer service for passengers who get soaked by their plane’s malfunction."

Cons: "My nonstop flight was anything but. At the San Jose Airport I got one boarding pass, and yet was told the flight was not direct when I inquired to confirm. I did not like that I had to offload some of my belongings out of my checked luggage. This was especially inconvenient as I had to deplane in Guatamala and go through their customs and security procedure all to get on the same plane 3 not so easy to get to gates over. And me with a broken toe, you can see how this would be not fun especially because I did not have any boarding pass or other information even telling me what gate I should be boarding at. It was really a small miracle that another passenger found someone to ask and I overheard the gate #. Stressful."

We arrived when our flight was scheduled to take off but instead of holding that flight for maybe 30 minutes so everyone with connections could make it, we had to spend the night in Bogota. At least we were provided with hotel and food vouchers but don’t see how that is cost effective or good service for the airline when holding the plane for less than an hour would have allowed dozens of people to make it back the day we were scheduled to."

Cons: "It was late and then I missed my connection, and an Avianca employee told me there was a later flight from LAX to PDX (at 11:45 on AlaskaAir) which I would be put on. However, once I arrived I was told I was on a 6 AM on Delta with no arrangement to get me a hotel or anything. I bought a separate ticket on that 11:45 flight on Alaska Air to PDX instead. Extremely unhappy with this service and will never again use it. I will also tell everyone in my social circles, in person and online, to stop using it."
Cons: "We upgraded to business class but it didn’t make up for the old plane. It was loud, old and dirty, the crew was good. It was was a 5+ hour flight and it would have been great to be on a newer plane, which they use for shorter flights."

When asked to persuade certain travellers to put their seats in the upright position during mealtimes they refused and claimed that it is bussines of mine to arrange for that. In the course of previous flight they have hower required that. Very confusing. The behaviour and performance of the crew was hardly proffesional. They paid little attention e.g. To people who did respect instructions concerning fastening the seat belts orcto remain seated during landing, etc."

Cons: "The passengers on this flight from San Salvador to LAX were drunk and standing in the aisles and talking VERY loudly for nearly the duration of the 4.5 hour flight, and the crew did nothing about it. I asked the crew (a grumpy male flight attendant) if they are allowed to do that, and he merely grunted. The female flight attendants smiled at the large men drinking in the aisles and continued to bring them drinks. My boyfriend had a large man's butt in his face for the duration of the flight. Behind us a man was talking very loudly and obnoxiously about his travels to the point where his voice woke us up. The crew did NOTHING to mitigate the obnoxious behavior of the passengers, and allowed them to stand in the aisle for the whole flight, to the point where we felt claustrophobic and invaded upon. We were particularly surprised as we've heard that this violates airline policy AND the crew did nothing to even ask them to sit or to move to the back of the plane. In addition, it was very hot at the AC was not working above our seats."

Pros: "Before our flight, several people were called to the check-in desk. These were obviously frequent flyers because later we saw these individuals sitting in Executive Class. Felt a little jealous, because I'm not a frequent flyer, but it was nice to see how Avianca takes care of its regular customers. Everything about the flight was first class, even if I was sitting in coach. The staff were friendly and helpful, the plane was comfortable--a 787, everyone's favorite--and the food was actually very tasty: chicken breast with a delicious green curry/salsa, some rice, green salad. Water and juices were available in the aft galley in between the meal and light snack before arrival. The entertainment offerings were terrific. If I hadn't had such great traveling companions to chat with, I would have caught up on some new releases I had missed, or one of the classics--"Singing in the Rain," "Citizen Kane," and much more. I don't know how you could improve the customer experience. Great job, Avianca!"
Pros: "I fly avianca often and their service sometimes very, this particular time the crew was very professional and polite. We did good timing, but I do need to add that avianca has never been late to a fly I have taken, always on time. Food has changed, it used to be better and more generous but food in general on a plane these days is not the reason why you would enjoy flying."

Cons: "After arriving in San Salvador from San Jose, another passenger informed us that there was a flight departing for LAX at around 3:30 PM. Considering that our flight was scheduled to depart at 7:25 PM, we decided to ask the customer representative at the Avianca information desk if there were any open seats available on our flight home to LAX. She informed us that there were open seats BUT we would have to pay an extra $200 to board that flight. I have been on other airlines before and they have offered me the option to get on an earlier flight - FREE OF CHARGE. Considering I had bought my complete, round trip ticket for $435, the idea of paying an extra $200 for one leg of my journey seemed ludicrous! So I stayed the 6+ hours in El Salvador. Fast forward 6 hours and the desk agent at our gate announces that our flight is completely booked and they are offering $300 for anyone who will give up their seats. I am PISSED. Avianca knew our flight was overbooked and had the opportunity to take two passengers off the list and free up seats for the next flight! Instead, they chose to make us wait and delayed our flight. I do not understand Avianca's customer service procedures. Why would you not put my friend and I on the next flight when you know the next flight is going to be overbooked and possibly delayed? I'll I know is that if I can avoid flying with Avianca in the future, I will do it."

I moved because there was a family that wanted to sit together, and that I completely understand, but what I don't get is why I wasn't told or given a seat of equal value that I Paid for. it was an 8 hour flight without light to read, no tv to watch and no music."

"I liked that once up, things ran more smoothly and we still landed on time despite a 45+ minute delay leaving the gate. The boarding process was another story. With the demand for proof of a negative COVID test prior to boarding by the US, Air France had just 2 staff members checking these tests results, collecting a paper affidavit of sorts also required by the US, and checking boarding passes and passports for an entire Boeing 777 full of passengers. There were other staff around This seemed preposterous. Then, when I finally boarded, the luggage was still be loaded onto the plane at 1:50pm for a flight schedule to leave at 1:15pm."
"I wrote a review to Delta already expressing my dislike of the fact that I could not get a seat assigned upon checkin or even at the airport until maybe 1 hr before my flight. The cabo representative (not part of the flight crew based from Los Angeles) was rude and not accommodating, so my wife and I had to sit separately, which was frustrating to say the least, given I had followed the entire online check in protocol, including uploading digital copies of my negative COVID-19 test."

Cons: "I bought a ticket thinking i bought it through kayak but I actually bought a ticket through a third party in India. Where no one spoke good English. I called the agency to find out if I needed a Visa for my visit to Australia and the told me no. So when I showed up to the airport I didn’t have the right documents and I MISSED MY FLIGHT. Also the wouldn’t just change my flight and charge me the change flight fee. They cancelled my flight entirely and made me buy a whole new ticket!!! Worst flight experience I’ve ever had and this is not my first time flying to Australia or out of country."

Cons: "I sat next to a creepy intoxicated man during my flight and I was not helped out. When I first sat down he was speaking to me and trying to hit on me but I showed that I wasn’t interested. I didn’t even have to sit down to smell the alcohol on him. During the flight he tried to place his head on my shoulder and tried to get close to me. I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!"

The entertainment system had to be rebooted multiple times and the usb on the seats didn’t work. They ran out of food during lunch."

Flight was delayed 45 minutes because a flight attendant was running late and then to top it off, at the end of. The flight the attendants blocked anyone fromaim cabin from leaving until all of first class had departed, even when no one was coming they still Blocked it off. This is a practice I have never seen on delta and haven't seen in aviation in almost 20 years in the US"

Cons: "When I bought my ticket last Nov , I paid extra to select seats, only to discover no aisle seats available for the 15 hour flight from LAX to Guanghzou. I tried many times to call CSA LA office using toll free and regular number, but could never speak to a human. Last November 7 I missed my flight home due to the Thai King's motorcade causing the road I was on to be closed for more one hour. I arrived at the CNXairport nearly one hour before the scheduled departure time, only to find CSA check in counters already closed. CSA Bangkok made me pay for a one way ticket home on Nov 8 even though all 3 flights were not full. I arrived well I'm advance and checked in. CSA began boarding 30 minutes before the time shown on my boarding pass and closed the aircraft doors shortly aftethe boarding time listed. No wonder I missed my Nov 7 flight! I wrote CSA LA a letter including the receipt for the one way ticket and requested a refund or at least a reply or home call. I never received a reply. I have flown CSA/Delta from Detroit, MI to Chiang Mai, Thailand 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years. It seems they don't care about customer loyalty. In the future CSA will not be my first choice and I will pay somewhat more to fly another airline."

I could've booked another airline for a similar price and picked the seat i wanted at booking. They ran out of food choices by the time they got to the last row, so we were given whatever was left. Delayed because one of the bathroom doors wasn't working, 30 min later still wasn't fixed and ultimately they decided to go without it."

Although I had an internationally calling plan, no calls to Delta US would go through. finally found someone through a back channel that would help me. We boarded an hour late, and staff would not answer any of our questions about what was going on or how late we would arrive (they sped up the fight so that we landed on time). Flight ran out of drinking WATER after the first service. Half of our section (Economy Plus) was skipped for snacks. An unruly child was allowed to scream for almost the entire flight & was running up & down the aisles. NOTHING was said to the parents by staff members. Was absolutely the worst behaving child with who I've had to fly."

I understand flights cannot wait, and I would have greatly appreciated being saved the trouble of running to a different terminal and instead taking that time to change my travel plans. They may see travelers struggling like this daily, but to each traveler, a hiccup in travel plans trip is stressful and urgent. I ask Delta staff to please consider that when they come to work. It is nice that you can play movies for free over WiFi on your phone or tablet (since the in-seat system simply didn't work...), but, bizarrely, the WiFi movie selection was different from (and substantially smaller than) the seat movie selection. What's that about? And the WiFi movie scheme is way more painful than it needs to be, requiring you "check out" movies using your web browser, then switch to a separate app to actually watch the movies. Clearly the product of a company mindset whose ONLY concern is "can we check some box", with absolutely no interest in "how can we delight our customers?""
Cons: "So we get the same entertainment system all these flights use: some ghastly totally non-optimized Linux setup that was rebooted three times during the flight, took 20 minutes for each reboot, and never worked correctly after any of the reboots. (The only movie my system would ever play was the very first one, and none of the on-screen controls worked. The seat next door could choose multiple movies, but each movie froze after 40 minutes). The amazing thing is: why don't they just install a damn iPad mini or Android equivalent in the back of each seat? Would be lighter than what they have today and would work FAR better. You'd need some co-ordinating/provisioning software to provide for OTA announcements and movie updates, but basically it's not that hard... At the very least, hire a Linux-head to optimize your startup scripts! It's just sad to see this 20 minute startup process (all dumped on the screen) with its constant repetition of time-wasting startup steps that just generate errors on this plane's particular hardware setup..."
Cons: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."

The logic behind this is beyond me. Ontop of that the crew which is normally excellent, was feisty and rude and wanted nothing to do with their job"

Nothing to indicate that there was a 2nd checkpoint with the same liquid restrictions."

Since I hadn't reserved a seat, I got seated near the emergency exit. On a positive note, it's more spacious hence more leg room. However, you're not allowed to keep any items with you in case of an emergency during take off and landing. It seems that there was some type of entertainment on the TV screens but noticed they were on for less than 40 minutes and then they went blank for the remainder of the flight . I'm not sure if other passengers were offered headphones but I was not."
Cons: "When you have a family emergency the last thing you ever want to hear is that you are "completely full and you will need to wait until the next available flight". This ticket was purchased last minute due to an unexpected death in the family so it was the only option we had to get my uncle to LA asap in order to be with the family during such tragedy. We even bought the insurance on the flight to assure nothing went wrong but yet he was still left behind hours to wait for another flight and see IF THAT ONE had room. How is this even possible? Why would you even let us book if there was no room and why was he the one to be asked to stay behind? Is it because it was booked though you? because it was a third party booking and not direct? If so then it's not even worth the few dollars we saved if it means the flight will be unreliable and the insurance means absolutely nothing through you guys. Ultimately, truly disappointing and I know that we can not depend on booking this way again if in your policy it states this ist ok to do and not even compensate one bit for making your travelers go though this."

I understand it is not up to the crew to manager passenger behavior but the only reason I was put in that situation was due to the airline staff. I was extremely uncomfortable and after traveling for over 20 hours I was livid with how I was treated just because I am a small caucasian female."

No vegetarian option for food - wasn't able to eat. It was indicated we'd be served dinner on board but not that there was only one meat option (I'm allergic to mammmal meat - beef and pork in particular). Most other flights give the option of meat or vegetarian dishes."

Pros: "There was a ten and a half hour delay of which two hours was on a plane waiting on the tarmac with mechanical problems and two more hours waiting to be reticketed in the terminal. But the airline took care of us with vouchers for food, hotel and taxis. The crisis was handled really well. It was just miserable because we only got two hours sleep. I am glad this was just a once in a lifetime crisis and inconvenience. Maybe it was caused by Boeing who made the plane."

Cons: "our departure flight was delayed for over 1 hours and our return flight was delayed for over 2 hours. They blamed the weather for the delay on the return flight but all other flights were departing on time or with only a 30 min delay. Aeromexico flights were the only ones being delayed for long periods of time."
Cons: "No IFE; seats rather tight. The sandwich with a slice of cheese and unknown deli meat was almost inedible - why don't they just allow fliers to pay for their own food?"

Pros: "The manager was really nice, and the customer service desk people were every nice too. I was compensated for being kicked off the flight, and they helped me re-book a direct flight to get home. The resolution was fine."
Cons: "Was kicked off my flight for some reason. It was not explained to me very well, but I gathered it was from another plane earlier in the day that was cancelled. I don't know how I was selected to be kicked off. The poor communication was very annoying. I stood at the counter for 45 minutes after the airline personnel took my STB ticket, and didn't tell me what was going on. Would have been a LOT more pleasant of they just told me the flight was full, and my name would be called if I was on the flight. Then I could at least sit down, instead of standing there for 45 minutes."

Cons: "Charged US $300 to catch next flight after missing scheduled flight. They should have put me on stand by but refused. The flight they charged me $300 for was over 2 hours late causing me to miss my connection. There's more to the story than this. I was well early for my original flight and they still managed to screw me over. After I arrived late in LA and missed my connection the awesome folks at Virgin America simply put me on the next flight."

Pros: "My husband's knees were pressed against the seat in front of him so much so as to cause indentations in his legs. fortunately the flight wasn't full and we were able to spread out over 3 seats. It was still quite an uncomfortable flight for him."

Cons: "The flight was delayed 4 hours to Mexico and on our return to LAX our seats were RESOLD and reissued to other passengers and we were told we would be put on the first flight the following day! Heck no, we were not about to let that happen. Finally after multiple conversations with the "people in charge" we were able to be "accommodated" on the next flight- 6 hrs after our original flight. I called customer service for Aeromexico to submit a complaint for the awful experience, not once did they apologize for an inconvenience and make matters worse they said it was my fault my tickets had been re-issued. The customer service woman explained that "I had not paid for a seat on that flight that I had only paid for a reservation" therefor making all of this my fault. This is one of many reasons Mexico is so corrupt."

Pros: "The customer service was excellent! There was a slight delay but nothing detrimental. The flight was very comfortable. There was plenty of leg room. There was entertainment with movies, music, etc. We were even able to track were our flight was on a map. The small meal was perfect to hold one over a 4 hr flight. The offered a good variety of beverages and coffee. They asked often if there was anything they could do or if we needed anything else. I am very happy I chose this airline."
Pros: "The plane itself was very comfortable, didn't feel crammed in the seat. The food was decent, it made up for wasting all my time in line and not eating."
Cons: "The crew seemed fairly new and a little uncoordinated, boarding the plane and checking in also took the longest time I've had to wait, it ended up taking off late."

Cons: "People started to line up at the gate an hour before the flight as instructed. This is inconvenience to as it would be more comfortable to be sitting for that time. Yet the boarding process was much slower than other carriers. The crew was professional but not so friendly. The food and drinks were not served until an hour and a half after take off, half way through the flight. Food was not very good a croissant with a small piece of meat and a small slice of cheese in it. Once service began, those of us seated in the middle of the plane could not get past the carts for at least 30 minutes to use the restrooms. Overall, I expected more from the country's principle carrier."
Cons: "Aeromexico tried to take each penny from you. They even tried to charge me for the second connection check-in luggage for a connection flight from South America (2 check in luggage allowed). Airport is a mess, service, food are poor, crews are not as professional compared to their US counter part."

Cons: "I didn't like how tiny the seats were. I didn't like the choice of food. I don't like how there was no room for my bags and my seat was close to the front of the plane. An I didn't like that things In my checked bagged were broken and spilled. My bag was packed tight and padded for the breakables."
