Cons: Over an hour delay before boarding due to supposedly bad weather. Because flight was overbooked they were offering $400 gift card to change to standby on another flight. If you didn’t make that flight (evening), you’d be confirmed on a flight the following morning with one stop in Detroit (we booked a nonstop to Chicago). Uh, no thanks. Then to top it off, we’ve landed and been told that it will be at least an hour before we can deplane due to no availability at the gate (it’s 1145 pm right now). All this plus their new policy of not allowing us to select our seats because we bought the cheapest tickets. Really Delta? You go ahead and cater to the rich and I’ll choose to fly with another airline.

Cons: The seats are packed so tight there's almost no leg room - actually there is no leg room when the person in front of me reclined their seat. Since we were advised to get there 3 hours in advance only to wait two and a half hours in what is quite possibly the most uncomfortable waiting room anywhere this just makes the cramped plane even more frustrating.

Pros: I flew on a basic economy fare (I understand the restrictions) and was seated in Economy Comfort +, so that was appreciated.
Cons: I could see on the Fly Delta app that I had been placed in seat 10B, but neither the app nor my boarding pass gave me a group to board with, so I assumed that I needed to board with group 3, which necessitated gate-checking my rollerboard bag. Only when I approached the gate to board did I notice on the info screen that I had been "upgraded" to Comfort + and granted boarding with the Sky Priority group. I wish this had been clearer so I could have avoided waiting to board and gate-checking my bag. Minor inconvenience but room for improvement on Delta's part.

Pros: The Delta people were solicitous, efficient and brilliant the whole way through. We had not a bit of trouble. Our first class seats were comfortable, but with the supplied blanket, pillow and poor air conditioning it was a hot flight. The cabin personnel were wonderful as per usual, and my tasty gin and tonic soothed any discontent. I wish I could fly this way all the time!
Cons: The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor.

Pros: We were traveling with a toddler and infant but put in different row because the tickets were purchased separately. Gate staff promptly put us together and even bumped us up to delta comfort. Was a very pleasant trip. Thanks delta!

Pros: Accident on way to airport, so I showed up to check bags 45 minutes before flight time. They said they couldn't get the bag to the plane..in 45 minutes? So, they put on the next flight... 6 hours later. Said I could fly without the bag... uh, no thanks. They would not look for alternatives without charging me more. Flight attendants were crabby, otherwise everything was fine. I flew British Airways a few months ago. Night and day. Seriously. Delta does not even approach having good service. There was no comparison to British Air--- Delta is not in the same league.

Pros: Airline stewards were very friendly and pleasant.
Cons: We booked with Delta, but were put on Air France. Even though we had our boarding passes in hand we had to wait in long, slow line for baggage tags because they would not print from kiosk. There was minimal Air France staff on duty serving thousands of passengers during busy season (July). While the lines grew larger, the staff was reduced from 4 to 2. Another long, slow line for customs, another long slow line for security=Charles De Gaulle airport was awful. We arrived at the airport 4 hours before our departure time and got to our boarding gate with no time to spare.

Pros: I was notified about the delay via text before I left for the airport, which was nice. I would not have checked my email.
Cons: Delayed for over 2 hours. I have never flown Delta before this flight and it wasn't a great representation. The flight attendants were nice but I was in a seat near the engine and it was making really weird noises. I fly almost every two weeks, so I'm used to engine noises but this was one of the loudest/most rickety sounding flights I have ever been on.. and I have flown Spirit a few times. It just didn't feel safe. Landing scared me a little too as I have landed in O'Hare countless times and have never flown so low to the highway upon entry. It felt like we were only a couple hundred feet above the cars.

Pros: We were delayed due to weather and Delta brought a cart of snacks and drinks over to the gate for us.

Cons: Flight was late arriving to George Town due to mechanical trouble. when it did arrive and we got boarded there was another 15 minute delay for more mechanical trouble. There were no meals available for purchase on the plane as they had only stocked the flight for one leg of the trip and not the return leg. We were told at check in that we would have to pick our bags up in Detroit before getting on our connection to Toronto. In fact they were actually checked through. Due to the delays we missed our connection in Detroit. The Delta Agent was rude and did not want to give us a hotel voucher. She also said the next flight she could book us in was 24hrs later. She was unwilling to book us on an earlier flight with a different carrier. After we got her supervisor involved we were given a hotel and booked on an early flight the next day. I would not fly Delta again if I had the choice.

Pros: First time flying DELTA and to New York City. Really liked flying into Marine Terminal for it's smallness and easiness to collect luggage and catch a taxi.

Pros: We didn’t crash and die. That’s the only positive.
Cons: Before we boarded I listened to a couple described how they always went ahead in line at boarding because no one ever stopped them. They described how they waited until group 3 was called and then went right through. While we were waiting, we watched them do it again. If you need to cram people into tiny spaces to be profitable, then you cannot allow them to make it worse by putting back their seats. I spent 90 minutes with a seat back jammed into my chest. We were ignored when handing out snacks, probably because we were invisible behind the seats pushed in our faces. It was one of the most miserable flights I’ve experienced.

Cons: As a handicaped disabled not able to walk and should be using a wheel chair,as I know from my many previous travels with other companies like lufthanza, klm..etc, I used to be the first traveller to go to the air craft when loading it to take off and the last one who would be leaving it after landing. Even when going through the check and security points I used to go in a special route especially for the handicaped but going with all other normal travelers lines with such amount of time waiting and crowdness is completely inconvenient. what happened through the trip was quit different , going with the travelers or after when they are boarding the craft make it very hard and time consuming , Wish you take care of it, as it's a very important handicaped service. Cons: My flight Paris/London/Manchester?Chicago was the mos impleasant experience I ever had. On July the flight was schedule for 9...pm then delayed for two hours because of a fire, other passengers said, in London. At around 11pm, we were asked to line up for boarding. We stayed on line for an hour and fnally to be told the flight was cancelled. We were treated less than animals by British Airway. No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!!! No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!! We slept on benches at the airport. To be fair to you, I will not recommend British Airway to anyone.

Cons: American Airlines has terrible customer service. We were unable to board our flight at the Philadelphia airport because when we arrived (almost 2 hours before our flight) the ticket counter was already closed for the evening. No one from American Airlines could help us. We were left stranded at the ticket counter until it reopened at 3:15 am. We are very disappointed and disgusted with the poor service we received from American Airlines. After hearing multiple horror stories from others, it is safe to say we will never fly that airline again.

Pros: Good is that they sent you to Finnair to correct AA created break in service...why would they pay for it? AA is just an operator per itinerary! Why would you care if ppl get help with connections!
Cons: Checked in online on Finnair and automatically for the second connecting flight...and not the first -AA. So, had to check-in again for the first flight at the terminal. Board passes were printed 2 out of 3 by AA and both had errors - wrong gate for the first flight and no boarding info for the second connecting flight - just blank! AA did not provide connecting info until I found an unoccupied employee at the terminal and customer service lines were about 20 people in 2 locations I went to. The connecting info should be in the itinerary they said at customer service...nope, it was not there either!

Cons: The gate agent made us starting in boarding group 6 out of 9 to check sizes of bags in the size box and she got into a verbal fight with another passenger. One guy told her she could board but the gate agent said no it didn't fit and she couldn't board. Then the agent claimed she had to gate check her bag and claimed there were no overhead spaces left. So everyone after that had to gate check. When I boarded there were at least 8 empty bins and I had not even gotten to my seat in row 22. The gate agent lied and slowed down the entire boarding process because she want to win a fight and show dominance over a passenger.

Cons: A passenger caused a delay in security, and as I'm rushing for the gate, the agent closed the door and told me I couldn't board. She then marked me as a no-show, while she was standing right next front of her. I had to spend the next 4 hrs on the phone, trying to get my tickets sorted out. Then, upon arriving at Heathrow,... No luggage. They told me it was still in Chicago. Upon finally receiving my bags, I find them full of sawdust and sand, and several items damaged. I will NEVER fly American Airlines again, and I will highly recommend to my friends and family to avoid them like them plague. Horrible service! Nothing but a run-around and not once did the agents apologise, even after admitting that my problems on this journey were due to a mistake made by one of their agents.

Cons: The interview by a British Airway agent before the flight. I have been to the USA many times and I totally understand this type of interview, but the agent was aggressive, asking questions that were totally irrelevant. She did not even care about why I was going to the USA or where I was staying. Se was rude and I was really unpleased by her attitude saying it was British Airways way off doing interviews. Again I have had many interviews before flying to the USA, never been a bad exerience before

Pros: Boarding and flight were on time.

Cons: My flight was delayed 4 times from Columbus to Chicago due to an ATC issue in Chicago. On the 4th delay announcement I had to rebook my international flight for the following day because my connection was leaving Chicago while I was still in Columbus. I had to rebook and get a hotel for the night on my own expense since American Airlines won't pay if it is weather related even though the weather was not the issue, rather air traffic control. The plane we got the next day was a smaller uncomfortable plane with zero entertainment and a crew that projected they would rather be anywhere else. I don't blame them, my experiences with American Airlines had been progressively getting worse.

Cons: Connections to US destinations now require your checked in baggage to be processed before you can proceed to your connecting flights. The real problem is that this is no sign or communications describing this. Everyone is simply stopped in the corridor and told that they cannot proceed farther until their name comes up green on a monitor. Unfortunately the monitor switches displays so frequently that it is almost impossible to read. In addition to that it seems names do not always appear on the monitor unless you get your boarding pass scanned a the desk (this is not communicated to you unless you ask why your name is not on the monitor at all). People late for connecting flights (because of inbound flight delays) are required to wait without explanation sometimes needlessly if they don't have a checked bag. A nightmare if you're trying to make your connection. In addition once you've cleared that hurdle you need to go through security again (something we were unprepared for since we were already in the secure area. You then proceed to customs and then your connecting flight (if you haven't already missed it by then). Allow lots of time to get to your connecting flight, and ask to get you boarding pass scanned at that mysterious "checked bag" stop in the corridor.

Cons: It’s mainly all good but there are never really snacks on air canada other than pretzels (and today not even that). They are still my fave airline but they could step that up a bit!

Cons: Delays and harsh trubulance (altough i know that wasn’t air Canada’s fault for the weather) The changing of gates and the changing of boarding time without being updated on the application. The changing of the gate was changed moments before the boarding

Pros: While I've ranked the crew as poor, that isn't a reflection of the entire crew. The flight crew and check-in team were fine, the boarding I have as mediocre due to delay, but I don't put that on the staff.
Cons: My issues are two part: 1 - I wasn't informed that I was required to retrieve my luggage from the carousel on this flight from George Town to Toronto. I thought perhaps I missed something, however, the three other couples that were in the same predicament I was weren't aware either. This caused a massive headache, the instructions were superbly poor on how to retrieve the luggage, and the process was completely a waste of time. We had to talk with three different people, the person that took us back to the carousel showed no urgency despite us all explaining that we were on a short layover, and might miss our next flight, and even though we had our passes to get through customs, we were made to wait in line to have our baggage inspected. A completely broken process that could've been avoided with a friendly reminder at check-in. 2 - Once I was able to retrieve my luggage I picked it up off the carousel only to find the handle on one piece of luggage had been ripped off, and the plastic lining on the other bag was destroyed. Admittedly I find this to be no surprise after seeing how mine and everyone else's luggage was handled so poorly upon being loaded into the cargo. I saw my luggage being tossed 3-5 feet into the cargo area - literally picked up, and with complete disregard flung like it was a trash bag being thrown into the dumpster. Since I didn't have time to discuss this with any staff due to my prior issue and being unable to find a representative once I landed back in Vancouver, I called the next day to discuss this over the phone, but the representative explained that I was only able to make a complaint in-person at the time of baggage retrieval. The person was absolutely useless and unwilling to help. This was by far the worst treatment I've had at any time in my life while flying any airline. The trip to George Town was with American Airlines, and even though it was longer, and a tad bit more expensive, the service I had with them was stellar by comparison to my experience with AirCanada. Going forward I will only be using AC when there are absolutely no other options.

Pros: general state and size and comfort of the plane. Overall AC experience always good. The flight back to montreal, the service was exceptional!
Cons: only a dairy plate available, next time I need to specify no dairy entertainment -- too many ads and no previews for the movies so I have to start playing then stop and go through the entire same series of ads for the next one. the system just seems clunky and antiquated in today's tech age.

Cons: At the gate, we were told our plane would leave soon. An hour later, they announced the flight was cancelled and we were briskly escorted out of the terminal, told to go through customs and pick up our luggage, which had never even made it on to the plane. They were not re-booking flights at the airport, and the phone lines went to a voice mail message telling us to call back in a few days. I was stranded in Toronto with no phone and no where to stay. It's a week later and I still have not heard anything from from, even though I've called and emailed and sent snail mail.

Pros: Love the individual entertainment & the friendly staff team

Pros: service on the plane was good and the crew was very nice to be patient while we boarded the plane with 3 little kids

Cons: I arrived at the gate and looked at my ticket to see "GTE" where the seat number usually is. I was informed upon arriving at the desk at the gate that that meant Air Canada has also decided to participate in the ridiculous practice of overbooking their flights and that even though I purchased my ticket roughly 8 weeks prior, there was a chance I might miss my flight to my friend's WEDDING. The lady who was working the desk was as unhelpful and dismissive as you could possibly imagine, refusing to look at me and giving me attitude for merely waiting in the area to see if anyone had missed the flight so I could get on. It was surreal; the only way I could describe her incomprehensible behavior would be to say it was as if her boss were right in front of her and she was trying her damnedest to get fired. It was one of those situations where you could tell this miserable, miserable person was enjoying the power trip she was on and doing everything in her power to make me feel helpless and angry. I made my flight, miraculously, but it was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life, airport or not.

Pros: Professional fight attendants, very nice.
Cons: The flight took off late but most of the lost time was made up during the flight time.

Pros: We landed on time.
Cons: Flight attendant asked if I needed headphones and I said yes,her reply : I need a credit card

Pros: Again, ground crew took good care of me and saw me to the baggage pick-up. You have lovely staff.

Cons: They didn't have enough room for my carry on so they forced me to hold it on my lap for the entire flight. When I asked if it could be checked, they said no. This was a big safety hazard which shouldn't be overlooked.

Cons: Four hours of delays.

Cons: Kiosk option wasn't supporting the baggage check policy, resulting in passenger were unable to print baggage tag and had to wait in long line over 1.5 hrs to check bag with staff. They also understated. It took me over 2 hrs to get throug check in process, not counting 45mins + through security check and custom. I had asked staff to expedite the process. C my flight was boarding. Staff could care or less and walked away. I had to run to my gate and almost miss my flight. Also, I was told that 1st checked bag was complimentary as this is a express aircraft. Staff wouldn't honor that. Come to find out as I entered the aircraft that they made many passengers do the complimentary gate check anyway. Rude and unaccompdating staff.

Pros: The crew was very friendly and attentive.

Pros: The plane itself was clean, had adequate legroom, and provided multiple entertainment options. The staff was quick and willing to help when needed.
Cons: The boarding process was lengthy and once we had boarded, there was no room for many people'a luggage.

Pros: Everything went smoothly. The crew was fabulous and the flight smooth.
Cons: Not a single complaint from me!

Cons: We were late getting into Chicago and I missed my connection to Albuquerque. I was scheduled to arrive at my destination at noon and because we were late, I didn't get home until almost midnight.

Cons: I attempted to check in three times the day before online- only to be told that there was an error of some sort- and to check in upon arrival. Although our arriving flight arrived over an hour before the Scheduled departure time- yet we were told that the flight had been closed. Despite the fact that she could see my name and my husbands name on the screen for the flight. We informed her that we had attempted to check in online three times but we're not allowed to. I believe it had something to do with checked baggage. After demanding to speak to someone in charge- we were told that the airport supervisor needed to be told by air canada directly to reopen the flight to allow us on. At this time my husband has been on hold ( an international call- seeing as we were on an island) for nearly 30 minutes- finially someone picked up and essentially told us that there was no way for air canada to do that and in fact it was the arriving airline that we should be communucating with. At this point- we hung up. Fearing that we would be stuck there- although the plane had still not departed- but since the supervisor of the airport never physically appeared so that we could discuss the issue in person- I went to another airline , American, to try to find and pay for, mind you, another way to get my husband and myself home. After spending another $1500 to do so- we boarded the American flight and actually made it home before our scheduled time had we been allowed to board the air canada flight. Honestly- I'm not sure if it was air canada or the airport... But I do know that my husband and I will never fly air canada or honestly- I have no desire to go back to the airport where this incident happened- which is sad because I like to contribute to the tourism economy of small island countries... But this one is no longer in my list.

Pros: One person assisting passengers whose flights had been canceled was gracious and skillful.
Cons: My flight, 370 was canceled. Initially, one of the AC staff at customer service was overwhelmed and impatient. The next flight was delayed by about seven hours. My baggage didn't arrive in Toronto. I found it extremely difficult to learn where the baggage could be, spent hours on hold with Air Canada and then Dynamex, and waited four days to receive my bag. I was with about 100 people at a summer camp. The staff created a funny skit about AC, Dynamex (sp?) and the endless "your call is important to us" tape recording. I understand that flight plans must be canceled and changed due to weather, but AC relies too heavily on automated "service."

Pros: Quick flight, on time.
Cons: The TV's in the back of the seats didn't turn on for this short flight.

Pros: Crew was late on first leg delayed 3 hours than nobody to close the cabin door from outside ,missed connecting flight. Than did not have inventory in Chicago to out up in hotel had to pay out of my pocket and to this day can't get hold of customer service to get claim resolved. Sent through email and nothing. Even went down to my airport in Phoenix to speak and no help. Also lost bag as well. Which later found by united not air Canada. Unbelievable

Pros: One Time. A very polite staff!
Cons: Finding an overhead luggage compartment was difficult. Some peoples luggage is over sized, and some stow two items.

Cons: My trip was suppose to have two stops from Saint John to Louisville (one in Toronto and one in Chicago) but instead it ended up being a one stop flight from Saint John to Toronto to Cincinnati because I had to change my whole itinerary due to delays in air canada flights that caused me to miss my other connections. This made me to fly into an entirely different city and have my reception drive to get me for the only other option I was told by an air Canada representative was to take the delayed flight and miss my last connection and overnight Chicago (one of my original connections) and then fly to Louisville the next morning. This was not something I planned on doing and didn't have the time to do so had to find an alternative arrangement to get me close to where I needed to be. The first flight I was on from Saint John to Toronto was also delayed causing the flight to be late upon arrival at the Toronto airport. Not only that but then had to wait in line at the customs center for over an hour for only one customs officer was there to clear over 100+ passengers. Even if my other flights were on time I would have missed them due to the delays all around. Over all I was very displeased with how the day progressed, how I wasn't given much help from the air canada representatives at the airport other than them saying "there's nothing we can do" and for how the day continued to get worse with delays and problems all linked to air Canada.

Cons: AC373 on 07/23/16 - need I say more? Having an airline background and now the HR mgr of a very large hotel chain, I understand many things that are out of a companies control, ie: weather etc, but....never have I witnessed airline staff YELLING at passengers "it's not our fault and the agents need to leave so they don't go into overtime?" Yes, some passengers were difficult, but it's part of the industry. If you can't handle w/care and service - don't choose as a profession. Very unimpressed with AC's customer service, guest recovery - they made it seem like it was more of an inconvenience for them. Can't imagine "choosing" to fly AC again!

Pros: Nice plane, decent seats.
Cons: Delayed flight. Luggage didn't make it on to the aircraft in Toronto. Only 4 agents working the counters with a line of about 80+ or so people trying to check in with no supervisor present to make things better or get more counters open. Security didn't stamp boarding pass so had to go back to security check point to get boarding pass stamped before boarding. And it is no longer "random selection" when you get "randomly" selected for extra screening every time you travel from Toronto!!!

Cons: There was some dripping from the ceiling on those of us in the back of the plane. It might have been condensation from the air conditioning or air flow nozzles. In the groove of the ceiling immediately over the seats there seemed to be some dirt or mold.

Pros: I sat with my husband by the window.
Cons: First the plane had a delay for an hour, then additional two more hours of delay because we had to wait for another plane with passengers had to connect to the flight. Once we were boarded, we waited another hour for more passengers with luggage issues. After the plane took off, I was happy that the crews continued to offer us water, then I found out that there was no meal plan for the flight. I was hungry after all the unexpected wait plus the 4.5 hours flight to Chicago. I feel that the airline could offer passengers a meal after all the unexpected delays.

Cons: Moving through security and customs in the Toronto airport was incredibly slow, with 4 or 5 checkpoints, all with lines. Staff were polite but there were not enough of them. We almost missed our connecting flight, and our bags apparently did miss it, because they have not yet arrived in Chicago (see previous comments). Air Canada should have seen the problem in terms of timing with the connecting flight and expedited better. Will try to avoid Air Canada in the future, especially if there are connections in Toronto.

Pros: The pilots always announced when to expect turbulence and apologized ahead of time; turbulence really wasn't that bad either. In-flight entertainment never cut out, though the options were limited.
Cons: The intercom that the flight attendant used to speak to the passengers was very quiet, so it was hard to hear what he was saying every time. However, the pilots' intercom was very clear.

Cons: if you get in a que, then the computer goes down , your dead, AC line will be 1.5 hours to get to rebook. then you have 2 day to stay before you can get out. if you decide to go on delta because staying 2 day in hotel is more expensive than buying a new ticket ac will not refund you. Air Canada is the least flexible airline in the world relative to refund.

Pros: Tv in all seats, individual air controls, the crew was nice and I offered up my bag to go on the checked bags when asked and it was the first one out on the bagged claim
Cons: I'm 5'8 and my legs hardly fit when sitting straight in the seat

Pros: was forced to spend the night in Toronto because Air Canada didn't seem to know that there would be a huge crowd at the airport that evening. I was told as I exited my flight that I would not make the connecting flight and I had to spend the night in Toronto. I will never fly Air Canada again

Cons: after wetting half hour in the line they said i didn't pay for my ticket and tell me to parches a new ticket

Pros: It was comfy. Individual screen.
Cons: We took off 25 minutes late and no food was served, not even a snack. I had to pay 25$ to check in my suitcase.
