Cons: "An individual who was very overweight sat next to me and took up half of my seat as well. I understand we all deserv to ride comfortably and my intent is not to shame them. That said, if someone can’t put the armrest down I think the airline should require them to purchase both seats as it’s very uncomfortable to be in the position of having no seat for the entire ride. I’m an average sized person so it was a challenge but even tiny people deserve the full seat they purchased. There really should be a rule or something."

Finally landed and sat on plane because a plane at our gate was “disabled.” It’s 4:33am, I’ve been off the plane for half an hour, no baggage coming out of the carousel yet and no sign of this absolutely horrific experience ending anytime soon."

Cons: "Weather delay which is out of JetBlue’s control but once we landed (6 hours later) we sat on the runway for an additional hour because our gate had a disable airplane occupying it. I think JetBlue could have done a better job ensuring a back up gate was available or giving their passenger updates on the situation."

I called the 1-800-JETBLUE number and I explained that the situation. The agent said that there would be a $75 change fee and at 4:47 pm there were no more flights out that night and that I would also be charged the fare differential the following day. I quickly went on line and found a deep discounted fare on United for $56! When I got to the airport there were several other people with the same situation. Not a enough agents on staff and no concern that I might miss my new flight on United. Thank Gid I acted fast and got another flight that evening or I would have needed to spend the night in the airport like a woman and her mother traveling to San Jose! Need more professionalism !"

Cons: "The flight was substantially delayed and when we got to Chicago we had to wait a long time for a gate agent so that we could deplane because only one gate agent was working at that hour (10:20 p.m.). Also, the flight delay notifications came after I was close to the airport and at the airport--earlier notifications (if possible) would help. The tv/movie portion of the entertainment was not working at all."

Cons: "1) Boarding process was not clear on the ticket or anywhere (really not a big deal). 2) When reading about perks and restrictions after we bought tickets, the company mentions certain "classes" of tickets..i.e. "Blue", "Blue Plus" and "Blue Flex" but since I had already bought our tickets, I had no idea which type of fare we bought, since Jet Blue does not provide that information on your ticket information once purchased."

I received an email at 7am saying my 3pm flight would be delayed to 4:15.... then 5:26...... then 6:20...... then 6:50...... then 7:15..... etc. We were given a $16 meal voucher for fast food restaurants only. No explanation. Tried to get earphones on the plane at 11pm--- flight attendant apologized for not geittibg them for me the first time I asked. We landed an hour ago and I'm still waiting for my earphones as I'm driving home. JetBlue is awful."

Pros: "When I sat into my comfortable seat with its amazing leg room, I asked the woman next to me if she had flown Jet Blue previously. She replied that it is now her favorite airline. At the end of the trip I agreed that it is a distinctly different and great airline. My complaint is that I have to travel from NE Wisconsin to Chicago in order to use Jet Blue. When are you coming to MKE? The way the food and drink orders were handled worked well, and the selections were amazing! Needless to say, the media offered was wonderful."

And it was impossible to get out of the town and I didn't find any help for refunding or changing the dates of my flight. Really bad costumer service, I'm still waiting for a reply of the emails I sent to vayama. Imposible to comunicar with it by phone with them and with the kayak office in Colombia."

When arriving at the airport in Tocumen, the agent told us our seats had been changed to the back. They said it was because they changed planes. New seats were in the second to last row, uncomfortable, noisy, and near bathroom. Instead of moving seats forward this is what we received. Disappointing:.."

Pros: "All of my grievances regard the Panama staff at the airport and on the plane, the staff and services at O'Hare were top notch. Customs was extremely fast and efficient and everyone was friendly and did their jobs well. As far as the Panama airlines go, the food was okay, nothing special but not disgusting, and not all the flight attendants were unpleasant."
Cons: "The worst thing that happened was mean spirited security guards at the airport did a security check before allowing us to get to our gate. They forced us to dispose of a bottle of water that we had bought at that very airport. We were then quarantined into a waiting area with no seating and no access to other water, bathroom or food. Then on the plan we were offered beverages twice, so I was only able to get about six swallows of water from Panama to Chicago. Dehydration makes a plane ride a lot less healthy and comfortable. The staff was mostly unpleasant, the seats were really small and uncomfortable (more so than any other airplanes I've been aboard), and for some reasons they kept turning the main lights on and off, allowing us to sleep and then waking us all up for no good reason. Unbelievable."

Pros: "Having flown long haul with American numerous times, this time I was pleasantly surprised by several things. Firstly, the brand new plane with excellent in-seat entertainment choices, power points at every seat, more comfortable chairs with better head rests and even window dimmers vs. window shades, allowing you to look outside the whole flight. Secondly, the food was much improved...definitely better quality and tastier than typical airline food. And thirdly, better service from flight attendants who actually smiled. Keep up the good work. This represents a real step change."

The check in process was a stressful mess: we were forced to stand in long customer service lines both on our first flight from LAX to Chicago and again during our very short layover in Chicago to Dublin to ensure that our bags were checked all the way to our final destination. Very stressful, and it didn't help that the gate crew was extremely rude and unprofessional. It is very inconvenient that we could not choose our seats beforehand."

It did board and leave on time but not an hour early. This flight was night and day different than our ORD to Dublin flight of 5.12.17 which was 5 hours delayed and do stressful."

Cons: "Food was very mediocre but nothing new in air travel. The biggest complaint is that there was no individual light available for each person to sue to read. On a transatlantic flight of 10+ hours that is not overnight, it is a bit much to expect customers to fill that much time if one cannot read because the lights aren't working. The flight attendant said it was a very old plane as the reason why, not exactly what one wants to hear. Also, the plane was different than the one I prepaid my seats for, thus the money I spent on bulkhead seats was wasted as we just got two normal seats. Not a good experience."

Not only did they RESELL and REASSIGN our seats to someone else -- we could not get a refund for the upgrade we paid for. To add insult to injury, the only seats they could give us were in the back of the plane next to the toilet. Having heard so many similar nightmare stories about American Air I can say I will never ever fly American Air again. We now have to spend our firrst few days home from vacation disputing that charge, writing letters and making calls to get that damn refund. I will be sharing my discontent far and wide. Whoever at corporate thinks it's best practice to sell and sell and sell seats and live with the aggravation of the customers has an upside down notion of how to run a successful business. Instead of passing us over to another wheelchair attendant as we needed to switch terminals, he stayed with us thru the terminal change until we were on the airplane. We needed to get our boarding passes at Heathrow from a different airline and he helped us with this. Kudos to him!! The attendants on this flight were very helpful when my husband was having a diabetic reaction and I was vomiting form air motion sickness. We were a mess!! However the flight attendants were sure we had a wheelchair in Chicago and helped us with our bags as we were exiting the plane. Nice Job"

All should of went well from there but they sent me to the wrong gate. Luckily I just made it to the correct gate for boarding. Upon arriving at Chicago there was no one available to provide information on how to get to Royal Jordanian gates. Also on my AA portion of my flight coming into The U S in New York the flight was cancelled and I was told the next flight Available was next day (18hr delay) at the other NY airport. I had to have someone drive from D.C. (My destination) to pick me up"

They announced the movies being shown on the flight at the beginning and then proceeded to show three completely different things, some just being random tv shows. The whole middle section of the plan had static in their headphones so they were unable to watch the movies. The crew was friendly but seemed very confused as if it was their first time working together. Announcements were choppy And confusing. They also asked me to pay 190 dollars extra to sit with my husband. Not the best experience"

So they tried to repair it, couldn't (didn't want to fly on that old, broken plane anyway at this point), and we had our flight canceled. All told, I spent 10+ hours at Logan Airport. It was an absolute disaster."

By the time I finally arrived, 4 hours late, to Newark, I had to spend 2 hours in a line to get re-book, for a flight the next night. I was compensated for all this mess with a $10 food voucher, and had to get a cab from the airport to the closest and cheapest hotel. My flight to Brussels was uneventful, save one rude flight attendant, and I got to school a day late."

Was he a prison guard in his previous job? On the way to Newark, I had an aisle seat. One of the stewardesses blazed by me with a cart ramming it into my shoulder without so much as a, "sorry." I'm not a big woman but maybe as I dozed off I leaned over a bit...There is no way she didn't feel her cart hit me. Rudeness, it seems is a part of the culture at United because the flight attendants coming back squeezed past the long line for the bathroom without saying, "excuse me." They did however, say, "I need to get by," and one of them brushed by the gentlemen sitting next to me and bumped his laptop and coffee. Overall it seems that the crew working these particular United flights have forgotten that we pay hard earned money to fly. Some of us are going on vacation, to see loved ones, and some are flying to deal with unpleasant circumstances. The staff may fly several times a day, but most passengers do not. There's a lot of prep and anxiety, that goes into taking a flight and a surly flight crew multiplies that anxiety. No one wants to fly with a crew that hates their job."

We had to wait for that approval and again had to wait for their luggage to be removed from the plane. My opinion is let them disembark but not the luggage. It was too long to be in that plane"

The other passengers looked at me like I was a criminal or something and it was quite humiliating. The agent said (rather rudely) that I had to pay an additional $40 for my carry-on. I explained that I was told the bag was fine when I was at the ticket counter but they did not care. They further informed me that I was paying $10 more for my bag than I would have at the ticket counter, leaving me feeling scammed. I emailed the company immediately upon arrival, explained the situation, and asked for a refund of the carry-on fee given the unusual circumstances. I was flatly refused. Horrible experience, horrible employees, horrible customer service, horrible airline. Their ticket prices might be low, but that only seems to be to lure customers in so they can be tricked and swindled for more money. I paid more for my bags than I did for my ticket!! This company seems to operate on a "bait and switch" business model and through some research I did on them following this experience I found they already have compliants against them to the Better Business Bureau. AVOID THIS AIRLINE AT ALL COSTS!!!"

The flight was smooth. Upon arrival at PHX luggage took upwards of 30+ minutes to arrive and some passengers had to wait much longer. My luggage arrived damaged. I filed a report at the Frontier desk but their response was to ask me to leave my broken luggage there, take my items in clear trash bag and wait for a voucher. How am I supposed to take my items to a hotel for business meetings in a trash bag? That's not an acceptable solution to a problem I did not create, baggage handlers did it. When I got to the hotel I realized that the items I had on the front pocket of my luggage were tampered with and one item was missing. I was told I could go spend the money to replace my luggage and bring them back the receipt, and then leave them the broken luggage cause and I quote "you can't have it all". What does that even mean? I can't have MY luggage? That I brought in perfect condition and the baggage handler broke? Come on. They did not explain if they would offer a refund immediately upon receiving my receipt, it was all very rushed and vague and I was going to miss my transport so I had to leave. They did not give me a claim number or a number to call back at. Nothing. I wasn't even being rude or loud or annoyed like some customers get when these things arise. I understood perfectly that it was an accident and these things happen, but I still deserved a proper response and decent treatment, since I just paid $45 for a checked bag only to have it be broken. On the day of my departure from PHX I arrived at the airport on time, 2 hours and 15 minutes earlier from my departure. I stood in line at Frontier for an entire hour to check in my luggage even though I had checked in online and already paid my fee. I asked if there was a place for people who already were checked in and a rude airport staff member told me to just "get back in line". After waiting in line for that long suddenly the desk agent yells to all the passangers from a flight to Denver to move up to the front of the line, so about 100 or more people move ahead of me despite the vast majority of them having arrived late. I understand their flight was leaving earlier but what about our flight? How is it reasonable or fair to reward people for being late and make people who have been dutifully and calmly waiting in line FOR AN HOUR standing with heavy bags wait even longer? The whole thing was just terrible!"

They claim that it was because of the ticket I purchased through a third party, and I told them that they should not advertise any tickets where you intend to charge people for their carry-on luggage. To make things worse, it appears that Frontier does not participate with the TSA pre-check program, and even though I had my global entry card with me, the officer at TSA pre-check would not allow me through this line because of the airline I was flying with - Never again!!! I suspect that on my way back I'll be forced to pay another $45 for my carry-on luggage, which I despise."

I can afford the extra for Delta and I should have stayed there. Seats were really uncomfortable and though we paid extra for the better seats, leg room was at a minimum. Again, about what I expected. All told, for 1 bag and a little more legroom, we paid an extra $115 per tick. Not really any savings over a more full-service airline."

If you want to sit straight up for the flight (no seats recline even an inch) with no room to move, pay for any find of drink (but you are not able to move enough to get your wallet), bring you own drink but no place to put it, have your luggage damaged but Frontier claimed NO RESPONSIBILITY.....then this is your airline. I will NEVER FLY FRONTIER AGAIN. Can not recommend to anyone. Look into all the additional charges and you will take another airline!!"

Pros: "The worst flight I have ever had. Most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in. I will never ever fly this airline again. They also charge for everything. Everything had a fee. Horrible experience. I guess AA is the best."

Cons: ""Upgraded" to the most uncomfortable seat I've ever flown in. Expensive checked and carry on. Flight attendants were all extremely rude and unprofessional - spent the entire flight ignoring the passengers and clustered at the front of the plane complaining about coworkers. The flight attendants were doing much of their work by flashlight - seemed very substandard. No welcome. No goodbyes. It was clear that they had disdain for the clients. No food or beverage service. Will never consider Frontier again."

Pros: "Flight left on time and arrived a little early. Staff always offering seatbelt status in a prompt manner, keeping our safety in mind."
Cons: "Hard to get any sleep in a cramped space, but that's how it usually is on a redeye."

Cons: "landing and waiting for a gate for 45 minutes. We were an on-time arrival without a gate? That is very poor planning and anticipation of flight needs."

Cons: "Over 1.5 hr delay in Las Vegas- sometime cannot be helped, I understand."

Cons: "I spent the entire day in the airport b/c they strung us along 2 hours at time. Then when the plane was finally ready they had to get a new staff for the plane and delayed us another 4 hours. Couldn't they have planned ahead and found a staff before the plane was ready?!? Or if they had just told us upfront the repair was going to take 8-12 hours we could have made use of our day. Losing a whole day of productivity when you own a small business is catastrophic. Frontier really screwed me over."
