They lied to us saying that they were going to give vouchers for hotel, that we were going to be automatically booked for next flight and that our bags would arrive with our flight. Waited 7hs to talk to an agent in the airport. 24h wait in Atlanta had to sleep in airport. They wanted me to wait three days in atlanta. They forced me to check a carry on because they didn't have room in the plane. They told me my bag would arrive with my flight. It never did. I still dont have by only bag. Unbelievable."

My wife had to sit in one row I had to sit in another Delta did all this without contacting us. This was done to many of the passengers. The seats are getting as ridiculously narrow, I thought I was on Spirit Airlines! Now Delta is charging for bags! One reason I had stayed with Delta was although the ticket prices were higher the bags were free, now higher ticket prices and bag fees! Guess I will have to search for another air carrier. Delta is not loyal to me so I won't be loyal to Delta! Fuel is cheaper so they raise fees!"

I flew from Columbia to Guatemala with plans to leave Guatemala by boat last year and had to buy another ticket only to cancel it later. I talked to Immigration in Guatemala and they say there is no reason for you to do this. I just returned from Panama and was asked for an exit ticket from Guatemala again. I have warned all of my friends to travel with other airlines other than Copa only for this issue. I will never travel on Copa again until you fix this."

Cons: "The night before my 7am flight, I received an e-mail from Copa saying that my flight was cancelled, without explanation. When I tried to phone customer service, I was repeatedly hung up on. The e-mail indicated that more information would be forthcoming, but there was no follow-up. My flight was never rescheduled, and I was forced to buy another flight at the last minute from another airline. Because of the cancellation of my original flight, I also missed my connecting flight."

Turns out you have to pay for each bag,bringing my luggage total to $50. Thats when I noticed Copa Airlnes had the same price for airfare plus two free bags! I was sold. Overall great service!"

The plane wreaked of poo the whole flight and it gave me a head ache, which my Tylenol was in my carry on that the lady forced me to check. And the flight was only supposed to be delayed 15 min, and we didn’t take off until 45 min later, which made us miss our connection. Very disappointing service/ flight from WestJet!"

Cons: "Due to the fact that my trip to was not clearly indicated as non stop it is the first time in thirty years of regular travel that I did not have a direct flight to Calgary. Then I was not able to change my flight at the airport even though there was room available on a direct Westjet flight leaving as close to the same time. But the worst part as after landing we waited for a very long time for the plane to pull up to a gate (unnecessarily burning fuel and poluting the environment). And finally we waited another very long time for the doors of the plane to be opened for disembarkation. More than 3/4 of an hour waiting on the ground after a one hour flight very late in the evening. As a result I hat to take a cab home from the airport. Now I will try my best to not fly Westjet."

Pros: "Despite an ontime boarding, weather (thunderstorms) and air traffic congestion left us stuck on the tarmac for over 3 hours. Kudos to the captain for keeping us informed of every development and for taking the initiative to negotiate a southern flight plan routing that allowed us eventually to depart when other flights were being cancelled due to congestion in Heathrow airspace to the north. West Jet also put together a special team in Toronto to rebook passengers with connecting flights to later flights. This meant they had a new boarding pass ready and waiting for me by the time I got to Toronto, so the disruption was minimized."
Cons: "I had counted on buying my meal on the plane, so had not purchased any beforehand. Unfortunately, we ended up delayed on the tarmac for over 3 hours and they ran out of hot meals before they reached my seat row. I had to make do with crackers, cheese and fruit as my dinner. Lesson learned: always reserve my meal (or buy one) before boarding my flight - you never know what kind of delays will occur. To be fair, the crew did offer me a free glass of wine to go with it, which was a nice touch."

Cons: "The seats were up there with the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced--mostly due to the lack of ability to recline. I feel a four hour flight is sufficiently long enough to provide people some space to relax. We were delayed for whatever reason, lack of communication from staff to the passengers that were boarded really quite early (perhaps too early). One of the staff, while nice enough, was being a bit snarky to people as they were trying to, what I thought was helpfully, give them their garbage."

Pros: "Tall dark haired flight attendant from Prince Edward Island was very accommodating is very professional. He had his jacket the whole time and it made flying on west jet seem sophisticated and like we were important enough to dress up for. Also the female flight attendant that did the announcements was great. She made the announcements in a friendly, slightly humorous way rather than sounding bored and businesslike and "let's just get through this" manner."
Cons: "Lack of ice for drinks and snacks. Also, I have noticed that on many flights now, they start with paid service and then free beverage service and often that is about 2 hours into the flight. I realize you probably do that to keep those who need booze from getting anxious or angry, etc. and to make money, but it makes me, who paid the same for my ticket, feel iike steerage class. It would be nice if those of us who aren't puchasing booze (which also includes those who want booze) could get served first, then do the paid. These are little things, but would distinguish you from others. If I knew when I flew with West Jet I could have several packs of crackers or cookies or a small cheese and cracker pack along with ice in my drink and quick soft drink service along with flight attendants that were allowed to be friendly and have a sense of humor, I would consider West Jet more often and even pay a little more. I would pay to be treated a little better than the others."

Cons: "I traveled from Vancouver to Edmonton today on WS 320 and one of my luggage was delayed. I had to wait through many phone call queues to get in contact with an agent and none of them were very useful. I was informed that my baggage would arrive in Edmonton at 5pm and be contacted to arrange delivery options but I had not heard anything from them and it is already past 8pm. I had to stay at home to wait for the phone call which resulted me in canceling my evening plans. The luggage contains frozen home made goods and various food items I brought back from my recent trip to Taiwan. With the food not being in a freezer for over 12 hours at this point they've likely all gone bad. I am extremely displeased with the bagging service especially when I had PAID to get my bags checked. I was told that packing food in checked bags comes with a risk and is a game but everything in life is a risk and I find that excuse from an agent very unacceptable. I am also very upset that WestJet does not offer compensation for food damages because the foods in my luggage are definitely worth over $200 and some are not obtainable in Canada."

Cons: "Took 45min to bag check (3 agents and only 3 families ahead of me) and when I did bag drop, I’d already checked in online, the agent tagged my luggage to Calgary not vancouver and put it under someone else’s name. It’s been over 34 hours and still no word from westjet. Calgary is an 1 1/2 hr flight to Vancouver. Not impressed."

The first plane had a hole in it from hitting something the flight was completely cancelled only one out of the two people at the counter was helping a line of people, but due to a system error people were not checked in . I had to get 4 different print outs of my boarding pass. the second aircrafts air conditioner didn't work, the third plane the back door would not close. I spent over 12 hours in the airport and couldn't get home till the following day . The airline did not have a hotel reservation ready as promised and had to wait an additional 15 minutes while they were telling me I was responsible for my own room. Eventually they got me a room and gave me a voucher. I would never fly or recommend West Jet i just don't feel safe."

Pros: "The 777-300 is a beauty. So spacious! Traveling in the main cabin of this plane feels like you're in first class compared to other planes. Great in-flight entertainment. Clear communication from captain and crew. Overall, the best plane ride I've had in the last 5 years."

Pros: "I like that they let a 70-yo wobbly old man hobble the length of plane to get some hot tea because there's no climate control i the air craft, and let the poor old man hobble back by himself juggling the hot tea in his hand and trying his best not to fall. Plus I truly admire one of the air stewardess's ability to chew gum - she was chewing vigorously throughout the 7-hour long flight. Amazing."
Cons: "BA and AA is the best partners. Because both their air crew are clueless about service standards. A 7-hour flight from London to JFK, again no meal choices, no offer of drinks in between meal times - is this a standard Western service level?"

Pros: "Flight was on time. Easy to transfer luggage from an international flight to a domestic flight. The crew was accommodating. It is such a short flight that there were only pretzels and water without ice served on this flight. There was no entertainment on this flight. Small, clean plane for a less that 1 hour flight."

Pros: "The flight wasn't totally packed, so no one got kicked off. There was room for all of the carry-on baggage. The staff was friendly and courteous. Flight was not on time, but early! Never have an issue with American!"
Cons: "The only thing that concerned me about this flight was that immediately when we left the ground, there was a very strange noise that occurred and stayed until we were above the clouds. Made me and a number of passengers concerned because none of us had ever heard such a noise from a flight ever."

Cons: "Apparently you can make a reservation for a seat and AA is not required to honor it. They told us that you reserve a seat but you get your seat assignment when you check in to your flight. Apparently many people can make a reservation for one seat and the first person to check in gets it. My husband and I were very upset when we found this out. Especially since we went through many hoops to get a good seat assignment."

Cons: "United Express flies out of Terminal A at Newark (EWR) and routinely they do not have Precheck lanes open. Despite flying on the Saturday after Thanksgiving they only had one mixed security line open. When I asked TSA they said they simply weren't staffed to have a Precheck line open. Everyone was working diligently but this happens every time we fly United out of Newark. Traveling with 2 small children it is incredibly frustrating to have to go through the full security line, take off our shoes, and take all of our electronics out of our bags."

Cons: "Waiting 11 hours for the flight"

Cons: "We we're delayed at customs and missed our flight. We were told we were re-booked on a flight, so we ran across the airport, with two small children, to make that flight only to be told that weren't actually re-booked and needed to go standby. We then waited in line at customer service for two hours to be informed that United won't pay for a hotel. The customer service rep. did offer that if we wanted to take our kids across the airport, now at 11:30 at night, we could look for a United Supervisor in Terminal E, and if we were lucky enough to find one, they might override the policy and cover the hotel. Really! I understand that United doesn't have control over customs, but United did book an international flight with just over an hour layover, knowing that any slowdown in customs means missed flights. That's fine. The problem I have is when it happened, United's Customer Service model was to provide misinformation, incredible slow service, and what seemed like a complete lack of interest by United employees to do anything to make the situation better. There were no supervisors at the service counter, only 1 representative for an hour or so, and when the other representatives showed up, they were discussing going on break and going home. All with a very long line of people stuck in the airport waiting to get some help. I could accept this as an isolated instance, but since booking this trip, I have been getting the same level of service over the phone while trying to submit a refund request for my son who did not join us on the trip. United's 24 hour refund policy has taken 6 weeks and many hours online and on the phone and I still have no idea what the status of that request is, and apparently neither does anybody at United. The interaction I have had with your employees have been friendly and courteous, but extremely time consuming, with a lot of incorrect information and no resolution. Very mediocre at best."

Cons: "Contestant delayed flights. Cancelled flights. Overbooked flights. Threats to cancel flights if people didn't board quickly. And on top of that 60+ people without baggage that was lost.."

Cons: "They could have used the bathroom to stuff a few more people on this flight. Whoops, no, bathroom not clean. Tray broken on seat. Seated in last row and asked to close bathroom door of it opened during takeoff. Seated next to very large passenger who wanted to share my seat. Sat on tarmac for 30 minutes waiting to take off. For this, I paid $650."

Pros: "Flight attendant noticed my husbands t-shirt from Galveston and talked briefly about it. Smooth flight."
Cons: "Since it was a smaller plane the seating room was tight."

Cons: "Although the flight was scheduled to depart quite early, it was delayed twice. Weather was good, but incoming flight was late. Then there was no cabin attendant-40 minute delay. Few amenities in Terminal A of JFK."

Cons: "United is has delayed my flight on 3 out of the last four trips. 40 minutes, 1 hour, and 2.5 hours."

Cons: "This experience felt very "cheap". I have flown united many times and never thought this before. Not including a checked bag for an international flight seems ridiculous. I understand for domestic travel, but international is different. Same with not having an in-flight movie. Even one or two free options, or free tv or something. The only "free" included bringing your own device and paying for the wi-fi."

Pros: "I liked that the flight was on time and there was absolutely no delay. As soon as we boarded we were on our way..I was such a pleasant flight with very little turbulence."

Cons: "Boarding the plane was slightly hectic, but due to lack of attention on the passengers part. A seat was double booked and the crew handled it quite well in addition to a woman who insisted on sitting next to her older child but hadn't planned for it."

Cons: "The flight was fine, but my flight was cancelled on the 29th and the agent who helped rebook my flight was abrupt, then I get to the airport on the 30th and the flight is delayed another 2 hours. Of course it was all "weather" related, so no help from the airlines. I'm not a satisfied customer. I would have flown Delta if it was possible."

Cons: "We were stranded in Newark with little to no air conditioning in 90 degree heat. Our flight was delayed 9 HOURS. I lost an entire day of my family's vacation because of United Airlines and their massive blunder. They said it was because there was no air conditioning, but at the same time they said their crew clocked out and we had to wait for new personnel to man the plane. I find it hard to believe that this couldn't be foreseen and avoided. By the time we finally got our crew, we then had to await for a storm to pass, and then 40 other planes had to take off first. All United offered in apology were $10 vouchers that expire in two days, and a free drink on the plane."

Then when we got to Houston we have to wait for the gate to open because the gate shorted out. The worse experience ever"

Cons: "Please read above--I was standing at the gate waiting to board when the gate rep told me and another passenger there was only one seat left--on a flight I was confirmed on! The other passenger said he had a family obligation and the rep handed him the last ticket before I could get a word out. I felt so disrespected and like my business and money meant nothing to United. Then began my saga to get to Portland. Unbelievable."

Cons: "Upon arrival the flight attendant left me stranded on the tarmack without a wheelchair for 20 minutes. I have serious balance issues and was terrified. My connection was very tight and I barely made my plane to Portland. The pilot finally saw the problem and got the assistance I needed. This was the most frightening wheelchair experience I have even had."

Pros: "I wish I would have caught her name but the staff member at the boarding gate was fabulous! She is someone I would want representing my company."
Cons: "The wafer served with the beverage & my seat assignment stunk."

Pros: "I had no complications before/during this flight. It was as if the air travel angels were smiling down on me, making little decisions like, "Sure. Give her that rare luxury of having no one sitting beside her... twice in a row. And toss in not one, but two of those United Airlines cookies." (Those cookies are sooooo good.) Really, at the moment, I can think of nothing anyone could've done any better."

Pros: "There were empty seats and the very polite flight attendant offered for me to move without me having to ask."
Cons: "I arrived at my final destination and walked to baggage claim. I was just standing there waiting when a young girl walked by me in a uniform and said rudely and almost annoyed, "do you have a question". I replied that I was waiting on my bag. She then said these are it and I said so my bag has been lost? Without any empathy AT ALL she again, rudely and now most definitely annoyed said Do you have your bag tag? I said yes and she proceeded to walk away to a corner office. I assumed I was to follow. She took my tag, no communication at all from her, I said what are you doing and she replied I have to file a claim. She then proceeded to tell me that Newark Airport was horrible and never travel through there if I know what's good for me. This was extremely unprofessional. I was simply wanting some guidance from her on what to expect etc. I had to ask her what my next steps were. She handed me a flyer and said if I had any questions to call baggage information listed on the pamphlet. I left. The next day at about 1 p.m. I called the number and the update said my bag had left the airport and was out for delivery. Keep in mind that I had to work the next day after the airline losing my bag and had to purchase shower items etc due to them being in my lost bag. Portland jetport and my home address is less than 40 minutes apart, yet my bag did not arrive at my home until 8:30 p.m. and I'm also not confident it would have ever arrived because I called around 7 p.m. and spoke with someone who called the delivery service to ask their ETA. I paid $25 to check my bag and yet it was lost. What did I pay for?! If I can help it, I will NEVER fly United again and I'll be certain to tell everyone I know about my experience with this airline."

Cons: "Tried to charge us $200 for 'oversized luggage' when we have flown with that bag 2 other times. The UA tag was still on it! Then, after the kiosk agent slapped my hand away from the machine, I asked for a supervisor, who declined the bag anyway. But after prodding asked for a solution, a box(nice and convenient to handle through an airport) & we had to throw our expensive piece of luggage away, only to see a worker pull it away from the trash. By this time, it was 20 minutes until departure and I had to ask the same supervisor for assistance, pointing out our situation. Are these workers not trained to know which flights are leaving when? Or do they just not care at all? Worried we might not make the flight, we asked for a ride from 2 transit vehicles(I have a rebuilt knee and can't go fast) and you guessed it, were denied. Regardless, we eventually made it to the gate to be greeted by a 'oh there you are' where I tried to grasp for some, for any understanding from this company. Ok, here's the kicker: when we got on the plane, there were many open seats in the middle. My mom asked if we could sit in one and was told that it would be $91, even though the flight wasn't full. What is really going on? So there we all cram into the back of the plane. I am Not exaggerating when I tell you that I could not extend my are fully in front of me-that's how close the rows were!! The video was playing the safety message and we all looked at each other knowing that there was no physical way to reach under the seat 'in the case of a emergency'. The flight was turbulent, but you can't really help Mother Nature & we arrived alive, so I'll give you that. But as we landed, a piece of the seat in front of us landed on my moms foot.
