Delta was of very little help in assisting us in making a connecting flight. They could have at least helped with travel arrangements and provided us with a little food, a pillow and a blanket as we waited in their terminal for the next flight on their airline which was a several hour wait. I understand these things happen but the passengers didn't cause the problem and Delta needs to take care of people better if they expect to earn repeat business."

I talked to Immigration in Guatemala and they say there is no reason for you to do this. I just returned from Panama and was asked for an exit ticket from Guatemala again. I have warned all of my friends to travel with other airlines other than Copa only for this issue. I will never travel on Copa again until you fix this."

We were told we were re-booked on a flight, so we ran across the airport, with two small children, to make that flight only to be told that weren't actually re-booked and needed to go standby. We then waited in line at customer service for two hours to be informed that United won't pay for a hotel. The customer service rep. did offer that if we wanted to take our kids across the airport, now at 11:30 at night, we could look for a United Supervisor in Terminal E, and if we were lucky enough to find one, they might override the policy and cover the hotel. Really! I understand that United doesn't have control over customs, but United did book an international flight with just over an hour layover, knowing that any slowdown in customs means missed flights. That's fine. The problem I have is when it happened, United's Customer Service model was to provide misinformation, incredible slow service, and what seemed like a complete lack of interest by United employees to do anything to make the situation better. There were no supervisors at the service counter, only 1 representative for an hour or so, and when the other representatives showed up, they were discussing going on break and going home. All with a very long line of people stuck in the airport waiting to get some help. I could accept this as an isolated instance, but since booking this trip, I have been getting the same level of service over the phone while trying to submit a refund request for my son who did not join us on the trip. United's 24 hour refund policy has taken 6 weeks and many hours online and on the phone and I still have no idea what the status of that request is, and apparently neither does anybody at United. The interaction I have had with your employees have been friendly and courteous, but extremely time consuming, with a lot of incorrect information and no resolution. Very mediocre at best."

The flight attendant neglected to look my way when picking up discarded trash, (I raised it up when she passed me - she was looking the other way and raced up the aisle), so I sat with my trash during the final 30 minutes of flight (and additional 20-25 minutes waiting for gate)"

I then stood in a line that did not move for over ten minutes, with only three people in front of me, while 6-7 desks were empty and doing nothing but talking amongst each other. I then called the guy that scanned my bags back over to ask why I was still standing there while my next flight was about to board and he told me I'd been rebooked!! I didn't want to wait for the next flight so then had to sprint, with my bags, from terminal 2 to 7 (which if you've ever walked through LAX you'd understand how unpleasant that was alone). I did make the flight, but just, thanks only to the girls at the checkout counter who were actually willing to help me, although not eager to."

I understand for domestic travel, but international is different. Same with not having an in-flight movie. Even one or two free options, or free tv or something. I have had very bad experiences with other airlines in the past because they did not communicate properly their gate change and I missed my flight and missed events I was flying for. Excellent job to United for communicating gate changes very well! They did not break any of my luggage and the seats were fairly comfortable. The employees were also very attentive and willing to answer any questions."
Cons: "It was a bit confusing gate wise. I did have to ask an employee what was going on but they cleared up the confusion pretty quick. I flew on a jet verses a regular plane, and it was very loud. I had my movie turned up all the way with headphones and I still could barely hear it. It wasn't the fact that I couldn't hear my movie but in general it just hurt my ears. I was sitting towards the back of the jet though so I'm assuming if I was closer to the front it wouldn't have been as bad? Overall it was still a great experience"

But after prodding asked for a solution, a box(nice and convenient to handle through an airport) & we had to throw our expensive piece of luggage away, only to see a worker pull it away from the trash. By this time, it was 20 minutes until departure and I had to ask the same supervisor for assistance, pointing out our situation. Are these workers not trained to know which flights are leaving when? Or do they just not care at all? Worried we might not make the flight, we asked for a ride from 2 transit vehicles(I have a rebuilt knee and can't go fast) and you guessed it, were denied. Regardless, we eventually made it to the gate to be greeted by a 'oh there you are' where I tried to grasp for some, for any understanding from this company. Ok, here's the kicker: when we got on the plane, there were many open seats in the middle. My mom asked if we could sit in one and was told that it would be $91, even though the flight wasn't full. What is really going on? So there we all cram into the back of the plane. I am Not exaggerating when I tell you that I could not extend my are fully in front of me-that's how close the rows were!! The video was playing the safety message and we all looked at each other knowing that there was no physical way to reach under the seat 'in the case of a emergency'. The flight was turbulent, but you can't really help Mother Nature & we arrived alive, so I'll give you that. But as we landed, a piece of the seat in front of us landed on my moms foot. The departing airport had a ton of delays. The airport was packed late into the night and multiple flights were delayed without explanation which was extremely frustrating. Once we were boarded we then sat at the gate for an additional 30 minutes before anything happened. Overall, this was an underwhelming experience with spirit.

When I purchased my tickets through KAYAK, I was not offered an option to pay for a bag. When I paid for the bag a full day before I checked in, I was charged the full price with no other options available - in other words, THEY LIED. I emailed a question to their customer service address; it went unacknowledged and unanswered. The flight itself went OK, but the seats don't recline at all, there is very little knee or elbow room, and the padding is the worst I have experienced. If you are larger than average or have knee or back problems, expect to be in torment. They charge for EVERYTHING, even plain water. After paying full price for my checked bags, the savings for the flight over other carriers was simply not worth the discomfort."

On top of paying for a carry on your staff at the airports still tried to charge me on each leg of the flight - horrible service!!! At check in on return I saw a group of young people get surprised they had to pay to check in their skateboards, so it became clear your company is scamming people for checked baggage at the airport regularly because people are missing the fine print on baggage fees. If I add $84 round trip bag fee plus carry on fee all of a sudden your no better deal than other carriers and their planes are more roomy, seats recline, and they will serve you beverages. People can't fly 5 hour flights without something to drink!!!. I'll be sure to share my disappointing experience with everyone I know."
