After losing my flight, Alaska did NOTHING TO HELP to get a new flight or get hotel accommodation. Alaska employees showed great disregard for helping stranded costumers that lose their flight even when it was not passengers foul. I will try NOT to flight on Alaska anymore!!!!"

The seatback trays were big enough to work on, there was enough space under the seat for both my backpack AND my feet, the seats were comfortable and everything felt clean. The plane alone definitely won favor with me. Add to that a cheerful crew and enough space in the aisle for that poor mom to let her kid crawl, and it was actually a pleasant trip."

The flight attendant just asked me where I was supposed to be sitting and walked away after that. I thought it was rude. I wouldn't have minded if she said no, but she didn't give me an answer."

A little rough over the mountains -- but that always happens to SLC. Our flight was actually early. Baggage was waiting for me at the carousel when I arrived -- and I went almost directly there. I've never had that happen before -- great. I will fly Alaska again."
Cons: "My only complaint was with check-in. I used the self-serve kiosk, which was easy to follow and efficient. The problem arose when I needed to check my bag. The computer instructs the passenger to go to the "baggage drop-off area," which I did. However, there was nobody there to receive my bag or to check my ID and give me a boarding pass. There was staff helping other customers at the "full-service" area, and I tried to get their attention. All I got in return was a head shake "no." This was especially frustrating since one of the staff members was observing other staff -- not actually working the computer to check in customers. I understand that she may not be able to leave her post to operate another post, but it seems reasonable to walk the mere 10 feet over to me to explain that I am in the right area and someone will assist me shortly. I ended up getting in line, which defeats the purpose of the kiosk, only to see a staff member show up to the drop off area. Going back, everything went fine from there."

Cons: "I didn't like the old style airplane where the windows curve into the ceiling so much that the window seat ends up being VASTLY smaller than they aisle seat. I did not like the free checking of all carry on bags. Knowing my bag was barely on the larger side for a carry-on bag, I played it safe and checked.mine in.....costing me $25!!!! Then Alaska Airline employees put he tags on everyone's suitcase like carryon to be put under the plane FREE OF CHARGE and they were delivered to them at the door of the airplane when departing! If I'd not been a conscientious rule follower, I could have saved myself 25 bucks and gotten better luggage service. It was also extremely frustrating that even if checked in online the day before, Alaska Airlines system promptly told me that after I completed the online check in process I would be able to choose my seat assignment. NOPE!!!!! THEY WOULDN'T LET ME GET S SEAT ASSIGNMENT UNTIL I GOT TO THE DEPARTURE GATES AND HAD TO WAIT AN HOUR BEFORE ATTENDANTS EVEN SHOWED UP AT THE GATE DESK!!"

I know it's not my headphones because I had just used it before boarding for both my Nintendo and computer. Also, the buttons for the TV are on the armrest and if you try to get comfortable you'll change the channel. When the flight attendant came around she just propped a bunch of stuff in front of us and since it was dark I had no idea what I was looking at, ended up getting a very crappy bag of chips. Overall was a terrible experience flying JetBlue."

Cons: "Flight was delayed over 30 min and they never said a word or made an announcement, they made me check my bag stating it wouldn’t fit/ not enough room, then when I told the guy there were fragile items in it he proceeded to throw it down the chute, even the woman behind me commented how awful it was. A flight attendant actually got upset that I got up to use the restroom and when I came back, she was at my row, and REFUSED to move one more row up so I could get in my seat. She made me go all the way back to the back and wait for her to bring her cart back, then was pissy about bringing me a drink. It then took her another 30 min to bring me the coke. also, what the heck with the remotes on the arm of the chair?? Serious design flaw. The man sleeping next to me kept turning mine up and changing my channel and I couldn’t get to it to fix it. Seriously it was the worst 4.5 hour flight I have ever been on."

(the plane wasn't ready until 10 minutes before departure- Jet Blue got everyone on in 10 minutes for an ontime departure) You get beverages as needed instead of a 4 oz ration. Selection of snacks instead of 3 pretzels. Crews were friendly and young instead of old and abusive. Nice new Airbus 320."

Pros: "Very smooth ride, only a little bit of turbulence here and there but nothing to write home about. Crew was also extremely professional and friendly. For my first time flying solo, they were amazing."
Cons: "Entertainment was lacking. My entire row couldn't change the channels at all so we were stuck watching the same movie on repeat. Couldn't even get to the map to see how the flight was progressing. WiFi also kept going in and out every 3-5 minutes. Knew this was to be expected over Canadian airspace, but the rest of the time was unbelievable."

Pros: "I flew JetBlue to and from Costa Rica, which included two connecting flights. All four of my flights boarded, took off and landed on time and in at least one instance, early! The staff are always great, free drinks and snacks, plus personal entertainment for all. One of my planes was brand spanking new - it was gorgeous and oh so comfy! I hope I only have to fly JetBlue going forward!"

We arrived in SLC over 2 hours late, and then proceeded to wait 20 minutes for an open gate. The entire flight I was seated next to an elderely couple that were making out literally on top of me. When placing my overhead bag, one of the straps were caught in the lock mechanism. Instead of the flight attendant moving my strap and closing the bin, she gave me attitude and told me to fix it myself. 2 hours into the flight i wished to sleep, but my television display was broken. As a result, the brightness of the screen was on the max setting the entire trip. The last two hours of my flight I spent dealing with a headache because the rest of the plane was dark, and the display was half a foot from my face. To top off my horrible experience, the row across from me, and the row in front of me, had a screaming infant which wailed the entire flight long. I will never fly with Jetblue again, and will advise anyone considering it to pick a different airline."

The middle seat passenger insisted that she wanted to have it down, correctly pointing out that she had paid for a whole space. Despite the seat divider, the obese person's body oozed over and below into the middle seat during the flight, cramming the middle passenger. These folks Need to buy a second seat..."

Thank goodness for their app as i was able to.change my flight with the My Delta app. Also they had overbooked the flight and rather than giving assurance to people just told us to wait and "line up orderly"."

Super frustrating if one of the most popular luggage manufacture makes a “carry-on” bag, airlines should realize people will be arriving with the expectations that they can use it as a carry on. Anyways I’m out $58 both ways ($116). I will not fly with AeroMexico again because of this simple fact."

They blame me & the manager never show his face to help me out. He could have at least given me a discount given the award situation. But, the customer service or will to help me was just not there."

Cons: "We arrived at the airport to find that they had overbooked the plane and our family's 4 seats were in jeopardy. We had to wait until they had processed everyone else in line, even though we had gotten there first, because either they were in the "sky priority" line or because maybe they had pre-bought their seat assignments. After a tense 20 minutes of waiting, they closed the flight and let us have our seats. Then, at the gate, they confiscated two of our most important carry on bags and checked them because they said that children are not allowed a carry on item -- despite paying full freight for their seats! It was very nerve-wracking at our arrival destinations as these two items were not padlocked and were the very last to come on the conveyor belt."
