Traveling with bulky blankets and pillows in order to be able to sleep on a night flight is not always possible. JB provides eyemask and ear plugs, which is ridiculous. I can bring my own eyemask and ear plugs. I even paid extra for upgrade seats! The headrests are not adjustable and the recline is barely noticeable. It was a long 6 hour flight! No entertainment. I have flown other airlines to South America and been able to enjoy full feature recent release films, TV shows and games. Why can't JB figure out how to do that on their international flights? No meals. All other airlines offer meal service on their international flights. I pay as much for JB flights as I have for other airlines going to South America. The value for JB tickets just isn't there. To fly JB, picture yourself getting on board with your own pillows, blankets, entertainment and food. That about sums it up."

They should not be allowed to sell a seat like this."

Cons: "The delay from Cancun caused us to miss our connection. The ground crew gave no help, information, or baseline customer service. We were referred to one person after the other only to finally end up in a 3hour line at customer service where we were told we miss the ground transportation and would have to find our own way home. We rented a car from Hertz and drove to Richmond arriving at 5:30am.... very disappointing."
Pros: "Everything about the flight was great. Both going and return were so on time, it was amazing. On the way home the in flight entertainment was out for the duration of the flight and nobody in the crew really took the time to address it - thought that was a little odd. Thanks again!"

Cons: "I don't think it can really be avoided when there is a leak in the plane, but its really hard to be delayed an hour for a flight that takes less than a half hour - and I could've driven that distance quicker."

Cons: "couple of issues: #1.Spirit Website and Mobile apps keep crashing and several of us who booked your airlines were not able to utilize mobile boarding passes. In the age of mobility this User Experience (UX Design) should be a priority. #2. When we were trying to leave Costa Rica again we had issues with your Bar Code Scanners. We were able to download on our phone but when we go to customs after waiting in long lines we were told that they were not accepting Spirit airlines bar codes. You were the only airlines with long lines. Not even the kiosk was able to print boarding passes so we had to wait in long lines just to get a print out from the service desk."
Pros: "Kaska was very helpful during my checkin. All the staff was on point and helpful. I was worried because all the bad comments. I guess if you know what to expect you will enjoy your travel with spirit."

Employees said it was a mistakes that the flight was to Richmond. It was corrected about 10 minutes before departure. Plane was late. Charged an additional $50 each way for suitcase. Did not know this at time of booking."
Cons: "Traffic accidents delayed me 2 hours and I got to the airport 10 minutes before the flight. I called Spirit air for 2 hours trying to get them to help Meetup but they have a “no show” policy and said I was a no show even though I was there!!!!!!!!!!!! And I had called 2 hours prior to flight to ask for help. Epic fail. Never fly Spirit air."

Not sure for the reasoning other than they kept calling a bunch of people to see them, on the microphone. Also, the microphone speakers were hardly enthusiastic and didn't seem to know what they were reading when giving directions about safety. The bagge fee is crazy. Probably won't use spirit anymore unfortunately."

However, after landing we were forced to stay on the plane for 3 hours with very little updates on what was going to happen. Then their only solution was to bus us back to Fort Lauderdale which would take 6+ hours, causing us to miss our connecting flights. Therefore we were forced to rent a car (paid for out of pocket) and drive to another airport in order to make it to detroit"

Additionally, they do not include the international taxes and fees when traveling internationally so you incurr that fee when leaving the country. By far the worst airline!!!!!"

Cons: "Horrible Service. My flight was delayed due to bad weather and what followed was a nightmare. Spirit flew me out of my connection that was missed 24 hours later, made me wait in line for 4 hours to get a second replacement flight and has lost my luggage for good. Terrible customer service and terrible plannkng. Highly recommend to not fly this airline"

Spirit Airline is leading the pact again as the worst airline for 2017. This is ashame."

I'd rather not fly anywhere than to ever fly Spirit Airlines again."
