Cons: Late taking off. Late arriving. Tiny plane, no entertainment system, took everyone's carryon. Had to wait to get carryon back.Read more about Delta
Cons: Late taking off. Late arriving. Tiny plane, no entertainment system, took everyone's carryon. Had to wait to get carryon back.
Pros: Fast boarding and off boarding
Cons: Crew wasn’t as attentive. While my first flight (I had a layover) seemed extra attention and care was put into the cleanliness and order due to Covid, second flight seemed to be a little overcrowded.
Cons: Seats could have been more comfortable. No space. Food made me sick.
Cons: Everything was fine... I should have packed a snack because I’m always hungry! Will travel Delta again!
Pros: Flight attendant coughed in my face twice without covering her mouth while I was seated and she was passing out drinks and snacks
Pros: There was plenty of space under the seat in front of me for my personal items.
Cons: There was an issue with a part on the plane so the flight was delayed so it could get fixed before takeoff. That is not a big deal, I'd rather it be safe than on time. But the way crew and staff handled it was pretty unprofessional. No one seemed to know what was going on or what to do.
Cons: Best option across the pond, amazing upgrade prices
Pros: Inflight entertainment was great. Movies, games, moving map. Best I’ve ever seen in main cabin for free.
Cons: The seating was too cramped. It’s extremely uncomfortable. Seems tighter both on knees and elbows.
Pros: Quick Boarding Awesome staff
Cons: We were late getting into ATL.
Cons: Plane too small to have any on board entertainment
Pros: The ctew was awesome, super sweet and very acomodating
Cons: Its a flight to WV (my birth place).... it is what it is... smll planes, tight quarters and people who don’t get any of that and are not happy anout any of it
Pros: Food good
Pros: Seat was comfortable
Cons: Could have been a little cooler- was stuffy
Pros: Great service!
Pros: It was on time
Cons: Plane too cold.
Pros: Quick boarding, great seats and everything went on schedule.
Pros: Delta Flights are always enjoyable and the staff is always treats you with courtesy
Cons: The only thing I don't understand is how the planes are loaded. and this is only a comment and I know you and others carriers have there way of doing things. I just don't understand why you load the first section of the plane first and the back of the plane last, It looks like you would want to load the back and come forward so everyone is not getting hit and stood over while everyone is loading.
Pros: We were deplained twice from two different plains going to LGA. We are now booked on a third plain going to JFK. Hope we can get home. I have a surgical appointment tomorrow.
Cons: We bought First Class tickets. But we were downgraded How do you think we should feel ? We have been in Charlotte since 9:30 AM It is now 6:45 PM Should we use the train to go home?
Cons: Online check in didn’t work. Called Delta 800# and rep said I needed to wait till I got to airport. Airport rep said I needed to use the KLM flight number, not the Delta number.W
Pros: Nicest staff
Cons: Nothing at all
Pros: El cumplimiento de vuelos
Pros: The pilot and the stewardess were very polite.
Cons: Standing on line,it was slow cause only 1 person was help people check in. It would been better if everyone could check in with the kiosk machines. After half an hour than another person came to help. TSA move more fast cause so many people were working.
Pros: The flight & landing were smooth, and we arrived a few minutes early.
Cons: The entertainment system & WiFi were out. Wasn’t able to charge my phone either as the outlets weren’t functioning properly.
Pros: They did take care of the situation in a timely manner and switched my flight were I made it in my time line . Switched to American from Atl. to Houston
Cons: Was informed the flight delay due to equipment ,
Pros: in Charlotte
Cons: delay on flight
Pros: The crew was extremely nice and helpful.
Cons: Small crowded aircraft with minimal overhead storage. The seat pitch was so limited my knees were against the seat in front of me. The tray table couldn’t be lowered completely. Small child behind me kicked my seat during the entire fight.
Pros: Crew was friendly and efficient
Cons: Very minimal legroom. Screaming children behind me kicking my seat during flight
Pros: Leo was friendly and helpful, a wonderful presence on the flight.
Cons: Multiple delays in Atlanta
Pros: Nothing other than it was over quickly.
Cons: Seat did not recline at all.
Pros: I love being on a smaller plane/jet! Boarding was painless and I had no problems with my two small bags. Due to a mix-up in seating, I had both seats to myself! We even got in will before the scheduled time! De-boarding took far less time than "regular" plane/jet!!!
Pros: Leg room was descent
Cons: Excessive delays. Was scheduled to leave CLT at 3:21 PM, then rescheduled to depart at 423; then waited on the tarmac to take off for about 45 mins total; didn't arrive in NYC until around 718 PM; very long day with Delta Airlines.
Pros: Flight was on time and even landed early. Boarding was seamless with bag tag. Seats were comfy. Crew was professional.
Cons: A drink with no napkins? I know airlines need to cut costs but what if I spilled my drink or want to wipe my hands after eating pretzels Delta? You can still provide napkins.
Cons: The flight was delayed for boarding, then delayed for take-off, then circled LaGuardia for an hour, diverted to JFK. They indicated weather, but JFK is 9.6 miles away... so weather really??!!
Pros: The crew was personable and kept us informed regarding the trip. The Flight Attendant was very attentive and went above duty to ensure our comfort.
Cons: I didn't t like the overall design of the plane - it was small.
Pros: Flight attendant was excellent and pilots did a great job with weather
Cons: Delayed multiple times. I have been traveling 13 hours and am still not in London.
Pros: Having status. Always on time. They run their schedules like European trains.
Pros: The customer service of the middle aged White frmale FA
Cons: The seats were small
Pros: quick flight
Cons: it was sooooooo delayed. staff tried to be helpful and update us on what was going on, but they never gave us times. if you know what's going on, chances are you can estimate how long it will take. just let us know. it's better to be honest. i got on another flight.
Cons: lost mom's glasses
Pros: The crew & pilot were awesome. At least they provided snacks & water while we waited and kept us informed of delays the whole time.
Cons: My flight was delayed then cancelled with no option to seek a seat on an alternative airline. I had to fly standby. Fortunately, I was able to get a seat on the 3:30 flight (my original flight was scheduled for 10:45am). When I arrived at my destination I was exhausted from spending all day in the airport!
Pros: There is no rating selection for not applicable under entertainment, unless your asking about watching other passengers.
Cons: Leg room was awful, and flights left late for no reason.
Pros: great boarding crew for an early morning flight.
Pros: Free upgrade to Economy Plus
Cons: The flight was delayed an hour
Cons: My mother, Linda Thompson, has a progressive neuromuscular disorder, Dystonia. Along with this condition, stress can bring on non-epileptic seizures. My mother has had to endure one of these seizures due to the stress that this incident had put her through. As my mother's power of attorney, I am helping her vocalize this incident that she has experienced. The image below shows the spot where she was left, in the Atlanta airport, in her wheelchair. Delta airlines says they provide safe, accessible travel to all of their passengers. That includes providing an employee to transport physically disabled persons to and from their flights and to their shuttle. An employee accompanied my mother when she got off of her plane arriving in Atlanta from Charlotte. This employee was obligated to transport her where she needed to go. Due to her first flight being delayed, she missed her connecting flight in Atlanta, and had to stay the night until the connection could be made in the morning. They provided her with a voucher to a local hotel and a shuttle to that hotel. The employee who met her at the gate was obligated to help her get to that shuttle so she could get to her hotel in time. As many of us may know, Atlanta airport is one of the largest. You might need to take a train to get from one area to the next. It would be very difficult for my mother to walk that distance with her cane, and that is why she needed a wheelchair. The inconsiderate, selfish employee of whom needed to transport my mother to her destination was coming to the end of his shift. He attempted to hand my mother off to another employee at the desk while she was getting her voucher. Told her it was the end of his shift and he had to clock out. She told him, "You can't leave her here". Her statement, and the way she stated it, made my mother feel like she was a piece of luggage. She ignored it and let the employee take her on her way. She just wanted him to take her to her shuttle so that she could get to her hotel and rest. That did not happen. He strolled my mother along for a moment until they were out of site. They approached a gate, of which was empty, and he told her to wait here for an agent to come by. He left. She waited...and waited. No one ever came and assisted her. She was left like a piece of luggage in the middle of the Atlanta airport with no one around. My mother was treated like a bag that someone did not want to carry around anymore. This situation and the selfishness of that employee makes me think of who else could have been treated like this, or who else could be treated like this in the future. Help me spread this message so that something can be done about this issue. Delta has already been contacted, they do not care enough to do anything about it. I bet they will if this message gets heard by their potential future passengers.
Pros: Airport staff was nice.. Boarding was good.. Flight attendants very friendly.. Smooth trip
Cons: Plane too small.. Nothing but one beverage given all flight
Pros: Staff all was good.
Pros: Took care of us, gave us snacks and drinks, and pillows and blankets
Cons: Plane almost caught up in flames. Gas was filled through the entire plane. Had a big scare.
Pros: Crew was very rude and did not follow actual baggage policies regarding a passenger’s batteries in their bag that fit just fine in the overhead.
Cons: Crew could maybe re-read policy and use their logic to apply it correctly.
Pros: 1st class flight attendant sat through the entire flight (except for offering drinks and food early in flight). There were passengers NOT wearing masks through the flight but she wouldn't know that since she never left her seat
Cons: just about everyting
Cons: Nothing it was very nice
Pros: Clean plane, courteous personnel, everything on time
Cons: Getting the food back would be nice.
Cons: Boarding is so disorganized. Really Group 9 is just a way to make the passengers wish they had chosen a different airline.
Pros: The crew was super polite, even with the delay.
Cons: I wish the seats were more comfortable.
Cons: middle seat was not blocked like most other airlines. Plane was full
Pros: The seat next to me was empty
Cons: I downloaded the app and followed the directions to watch a movie but when I got on board I host the connection and not get back in . It would not allow me to download anything
Pros: I used my miles to get the tickets.
Cons: None of the crew smiled. They seemed like TSA agents that wanted to stop us from coming in. They seemed mad that we were using their airline.
Pros: On time
Cons: Some social distance inside the plain would’ve great
Pros: Great crew, clean plane
Cons: Plane was late getting in so boarding was an hour late
Cons: If they can’t serve beverages. Can we be allowed o e water bottle through security?
Cons: Flight left on time.
Cons: Crew could have been nicer and everything could have been on time
Cons: Flight attendants need to enforce all policies. It makes no sense to enforce a seat being leaned back a 1/2 inch but allow a Face Mask be worn as a Chin Guard through the entire flight instead wearing it properly!
Cons: the 2 stewardesses disappeared as soon as the flight was in the air. i upgraded to business class in what was a huge waste of money. the fact that they do not make alcohol available in business class is pure laziness, and these people are loving it. keep in mind that you can have water juice and pop. i was given the water i asked for after take off, and then she promptly disappeared for the entire 3 hours. she only returned when i pushed the call button. not good.
Cons: I'm not happy at all i lost my check bag and all my church close is in it
Cons: Armrests were broken. No outlets or USB ports to charge.
Pros: The crew was nice
Cons: American has been overbooking flights, doesn't respect social distancing, not true that the middle seat is empty, the person next to me coughed frequently, and since it was a FULL flight, I couldn't get another seat!, never again American
Cons: Did not communicate delays. Boarding was all at once without special needs people first No communication with passengers about delays at the gate.
Cons: All was good.
Cons: The airline needs to board and deboard by group number.
Pros: The crew was amazing. They kept us updated.
Cons: Not wearing masked, but I understand the requirement to wear one.
Cons: AA is not following any social distancing. While you are not able to choose middle seats because you would think they are reserving those for space between passengers. The last 2 flight I have taken with AA have been full with no distancing or capacity limitations in the plane. One thing is what they say in their website and one thing completely different is what they actually do in the plane. Unacceptable during this pandemic
Cons: We were packed in during coronavirus. I am never flying American again. Profits over health
Cons: American isn’t my preferred airline for obvious reasons (delays, notoriously bad service, old planes, and a lack of amenities like WiFi and tv’s), but now I’ll never spend my money with them again. They took me off an already delayed flight after I’d already boarded to examine my smart bag. I know that lithium batteries can’t be taken in the underbelly of the plane and I knew my bag would likely be checked at the gate (why I removed the battery and left it at home in the first place). When they asked me if I had a lithium battery in my bag I said “no.” They then gate checked the bag and allowed me on the plane. After everyone had been boarded (half an hour after we’d been scheduled to take off) they then called my name out on the speaker. I had to then de-board the plane and re-explain to staff that there was no lithium battery in my bag. The staff didn’t believe me citing the infallible logic: “there are ports so there’s a battery.” I told them again and again that the battery had been removed and the charging ports—while there—were inert as they weren’t attached to the battery. STILL, I had to remove all of my clothes from the bag, and open every single compartment (of which there were many) for them to allow me to get back onto the plane. They were telling me that they might have to “rebook the flight” if my bag couldn’t get on. I don’t think I need to explain how agitated/terrified that made me.
Cons: Because our first flight was delayed over 4 hours we missed our connection and had to be re-booked on the only other flight that still had seats that day. We had previously booked and paid for Main Cabin extra seats in the second row that included extra leg room and free drinks. We ended in an airplane with two exit rows, one near the front and the other near the back. Our seats were right behind the rear exit row in the back of the plane. The seats did not recline and there was limited leg look because the exit row seats were aligned differently due to the crew seat next to the door. Also, the bathroom was right in front of the row in front of us and so it was busy, noisy and smelled. Obviously we didn't get our free drinks either. Now I'm having to fight with American trying to get a refund of the money we spent for the Main Cabin extra fees. The fun never stops. I will never fly American again.
Pros: Comfortable flight. New plane
Pros: Great crew again, basic aircraft but comfortable economy seats.
Pros: I liked the entertainment. Seats were ultimately uncomfortable. Not helped by the backs being loose.
Cons: in the airport, the gate area dirty!, bathrooms dirty, no place to charge phone. The walk to the airplane, getting aboard the plane after the gate and flight changed and delayed. Being told it was weather related on the plane and being told it was MAINTENANCE by customer service. The plane was very crowded, the flight attendants never smiled. WHen i told the attendant i was being "rained" on he said...i know its happening everywhere..... he said there was nothing he could do but get me paper towels...they never came. I was very annoyed getting off the plane walking back and forth....it was aweful. and my flight before this was no better i am VERY TURNED OFF BY AMERICAN AIRLINES RIGHT NOW.
Cons: The plane was so hot, by the time we landed everyone was literally dripping from sweat. It was so uncomfortable that it was cooler outside of the plane even though it was 83 degrees when we landed.
Pros: Legroom was great!
Pros: The help on getting on the plane and the pleasant staff on the flight
Cons: The food
Pros: Easy checking with great Customer Care. Made my trip enjoyable. Will use again in July...
Pros: On time departure & arrival.
Cons: My checked bag, which l paid $25.00 for, didn’t make it on the flight to Pittsburgh. It got there on another flight at 7:30 pm Monday night but no one from American Airlines did anything about trying to get it to me until 11:30 pm. As a result, while l stayed at a hotel only 30 miles from the airport, my bag wasn’t delivered until 2:00 am on Tues, more than 8 hours after l got there. And their website for supposedly checking on lost luggage, aa.com/bag status, is next to useless. It gives no useful information. Use the 800 # but state you want to talk with a human when answering the questions in their phone tree. I’ve had other experiences on AA over the last few years that lead me to question their commitment to customer service. I’ll be avoiding American Airlines as a travel option where other alternatives are available.
Pros: The plane was newer, drinks are available. Seat only reclines half an inch or so so get ready for that.
Cons: Crew on aa is the worst bunch of entitled fools, almost as horrendous as united.
Pros: The flight personnel was upbeat and friendly and we were on time. I was very glad I made the connection
Cons: That we were not offered even water. I was very thirsty from my run from gates B 13 to Gate E25
Cons: crew coming in from another flight was late. Then, according to announcement our plane had been sitting 2 hours and they would have to call for power. It was already a late night flight, now delayed 1 1/2 hours leaving. The plane interior was hot, that helped with our displeasure.
Pros: The flight was delayed by more than two hours which caused us (me, wife, 4yo, and 7mo) to miss our connection from LAX to HNL. We had to stay the night in LA and take a morning flight to HNL. But despite the delay, the gate agent in Charlotte did a good job of updating people and remained very polite even when it was clear people were getting frustrated and starting to get sharp with him. Pilots did a good job of trying to make up as much time as possible. I can't remember how much time they shaved off but I think it was more than 20 minutes. Customer service in LA was solid too. Went to CSD to get our tickets changed. They had already changed our flight to a 8 AM flight. We asked if we could take a later flight because of the kids and he was able to accommodate. They also gave us vouchers for 3 meals and a night at the Holiday Inn. Having a delayed flight is never fun but the AA staff was amazing throughout.
Cons: I can't rate it because they canceled my entire itinerary without so much as an email. I did not take my flight to Wilmington via my original flight. I had to book another flight because the change fees were too expensive. I did not know that my return flight to Denver had been canceled until I was checking in a few hours before my flight. I was told my ticket had no value. Awesome! It really stings that I then had to book a new return flight, and because I am a teacher who makes about $23,000 a year, I had to book the cheapest flight, which was with American. I do not plan on giving them any of my hard-earned money in the future if I can help it.
Cons: Boarded small plane too early Air conditioning did not work...sweated whole flight No beverage service seats too small for an adult, and I am only 5'-5"
Pros: Chairs were very comfy and wider than some airlines.
Cons: Crew not overly friendly and not very attentive, and there were lots of empty seats so there wasn't much excuse. Also, I had an issue with the plane. I think no screens on a cross-country flight is not good business. Not everyone is savvy with go-go inflight. And if there are no screens, could there at least be outlets? I was so tired after my Paris flight and wanted to chill with some go-go entertainment, but my battery was low and there were no outlets. I know not all flights can have these luxuries, but if the flight is over five hours, I think it should be better equipped.
Pros: Crew on flight to Charleston was nice
Cons: I was supposed to make the trip from BNA to CHS at 2:30, we were delayed over 1.5 hours, making me miss this flight by 5 mins. Then I was put on 10pm flight which was cancelled! They couldn't get me to HHH until 6pm the following day. I would have missed my entire conference. The closest they could get me was a 10pm flight to charleston, then I had to rent (AND PAY FOR) a car and drive 2 hours to HHH in the middle of the night. The customer service people were less than helpful. They aren't allowed to help you make car reservation. My flight on the way back from HHH to BNA was a similar story. Thankfully my connecting flight was delayed an hour or there was no way I would have made it.
Pros: Complimentary First Class.
Cons: Clean plane better
Pros: Decent crew
Cons: Seat pitch and comfort. Food utensils VERY flimsy
Cons: Roomier Seats more isle space and comfortable seating. Better head sets
Pros: The customer service wait is extremely long especially when u get hung up on and start all over . But one man was very helpful in changing to accommodate me next day
Pros: Crew, snacks, entertainment
Cons: Delayed:( Seats were so hard
Pros: The details about the flight info
Cons: THTe customer service at Charlotte airport were not friendly at all
Pros: Crew did the best they could.
Cons: Flight was repeatedly delayed and until it became impossible to make my connection. Everything is rebooked and I haven’t left yet.
Cons: Luthsansa sent the reminder 30 prior the flight that was a delay on the flight operated by United. I called customer service they do don’t helped and hanged up twice. Finally after waiting for an hour on the airport the same flight was change 4 times more. A manager in United got us in a different flight but we arrived 40 minutes later to Madrid and missed our connection to our other flight. I had to buy a one way expensive tickets because my connection was loss due to the issues with the FL rigth from Charlotte
Pros: Crew was friendly.
Cons: Very uncomfortable decents.
Cons: The inflight entertainment kept dropping out so I couldn’t watch anything.
Pros: Flight was comfortable.
Cons: Having some luggage crew at Dulles. We waited a long time on the tarmac to get our carryon bags. We had a short time to catch a connecting international flight. We had to run the length of D & C terminals to get to our connecting flight.
Pros: Fantastic service and very poloce staff.
Pros: Everything was very good
Pros: Quick boarding early takeoff.
Cons: Learning I had to check my bag in at the gate, due to plane size and no room in cabin for roll-ons.
Cons: They never have enough food selections in First Class
Pros: Didn't die...
Cons: Flight delayed, otherwise the seats were the same as all other planes I've been on. Not sure how you differientiate a consistiently bad experience between the 5 or 6 airlines that are left. Our expectations are now so low that if an airline Employee smiles at us we give their employer 5 stars. We should probably find a better way to rate the cable companies and airlines in our lives.
Pros: The crew was polite. Flight was late leaving Charlotte but landed on time in Newark.
Pros: The leg from Denver to vegas was awesome
Cons: The first leg didn't have any snacks and a cold continental breakfast. American and Delta's breakfast is much nicer. But worth the price for that portion of the leg.
Cons: Flight massively delayed. Missed my connection. And the next flight. If they had called ahead at the gate would have made the next one, instead had to sleep in the airport overnight.
Pros: The staff and crew were very helpful, especially in helping catch my connection. Which leads to the dislike.
Cons: Nothing but delays. Before we boarded...delay. Before we left the gate...delay. Before we left the taxiway...delay. Before we landed...delay. Many on the flight missing, or having tight connections.
Pros: The crew was very nice...the entertainment choices are very good...I appreciate the Mileage Plus Card perk of Preferred Boarding in Group 2...smaller plane with 2 seats allowed good leg room and my wife and I to sit together alone.
Cons: You also ask us to rate food, but they do not provide food...what do we rate...the soda choices, the teeny bags of snack mix???
Cons: Our flight from Charlotte to Chicago was horrible!!! It felt as if a trainee was flying our plane. Landing was so bad that I threw my feet onto the back of the seat in front of me to brace myself for landing.
Pros: Flying first class
Pros: Plane took very late. No air conditioning for quite a long time before airplane took off.
Cons: Never seems to happen to me on other airlines
Pros: We ultimately landed safely.
Cons: The flight was 40 minutes late on departure and arrival. The front landing gear was not functioning properly so we circled the airport to have the tower verify whether the landing gear was down. In the meantime the flight attendant prepared us for an emergency landing with our hands crossed in front of us. It was the scariest flight I've ever taken.
Pros: Courteous attendants and overall great flight
Cons: The mixed trail mix, honestly that's all :)
Pros: Boarding went smoothly.
Cons: AgainThe person next to me was so obese she needed two extenqders. She was taking up her seat and most of her neighbors, she was in the middle. I was literally pinned against the aisle arm rest. It was a full flight and I wasn't able to be moved. For the entire flight I was cramped and pinned with no where to go.
Pros: all went well...no issues
Pros: Flight attendants were friendly.
Cons: The most uncomfortable seat I have ever ridden on a flight. My back and posterior were in pain for over a day after the flight. Terrible treatment of passengers to pack a few more people in like cattle. Thinnest seats I have ever seen that felt and looked like hard plastic. This was an Embraer 175 jet...will never fly on one of these again. Had a hard landing in excellent weather. Flew the same route back to Charlotte on an American Airlines A320...these seats were comfortable and the landing was smooth even with a 20mph crosswind.
Pros: Quick and easy boarding process; no lingering trying to sit.
Cons: We waited for a while to depart; I believe that's customary dealy for Charlotte Douglas now, so not a sole reflection of United.
Pros: Despite weather delay, the flight crew was very energetic and in a positive mood.
Pros: Uneventful. Pleasant staff.
Cons: Airplane seats, they're never very comfortable. Unfair to have to pay more for exit row. Headrests and seats are just not pleasant.
Pros: crew's friendliness
Cons: Lack of clarity of PA system.. almost completely incomprehensible, going and coming.
Pros: That they paid for my hotel
Cons: That my flight was delayed and they didn't say why and the flight attendant was quite rude..
Cons: The delays all day!
Pros: The chairs were nice
Cons: Not a hole can f oj
Cons: Crew was not friendly. Snack did not taste good. Asked for hot tea but the stewardist was too focused on other things to hear me ask for sugar twice. I ended up with no sugar and didn't drink the tea. Upon departure, no one said "thanks for flying with us" or said goodbye. They were too busy with their own tasks. Delta does it better... No offense.
Pros: Crew was friendly, flight arrived early after leaving late, more leg room than expected
Cons: Seats were very, very thin.
Pros: Found what was expected from the flight. Hats up to the take off that happened on time in a busy airport.
Cons: Aircraft is tiny and seats are narrow.
Pros: While waiting for the flight the agent kept us informed of the status by use of a speaker - said plane just landed and once passengers get off they will get us on board - he also took control and told people that wanted to be first in line to get on board to step aside and clear the way for passengers to get off the plane - pilot let us know we would land around 25 minutes early in Chicago so we were informed - then he explained why we had to sit and wait for a gate at O'hara
Cons: I didn't like that I couldn't take my rolling luggage with me cause it was a small plane and there wasn't the overhead room - then I had to wait afterwards around 15 minutes to get my luggage but the price for the flight was low and they were organized in how it was handled -
Pros: The flight was snooze and the flight staff were friendly!
Cons: We received a notification 2 hours before our Friday flight that it was cancelled, rescheduled for 24 hours later with no help in finding alternate options. All United employees were rude and non helpful. We were forced to switch airlines to Delta, and I will never fly United again. Very disappointing, we got into Chicago Friday night at 12PM CST, 1AM
Pros: The flight itself was very convenient and quick.
Cons: We were delayed and sitting on the plane for almost 4 hours and were left with few explanations. The crew was not friendly.
Cons: My flight was cancelled due to the weather. I had to stay at the hotel with my parents and then fly next day. I had 11 bags and was told that United can't hold bags in airport so I had to take them to the airport. I paid twice for my luggage . I paid about $700 as a sequence for the flight delay.
Cons: I got to the airport 40 minutes early. The flight was out at 6:20, I was there by 5:40. They did not let me print out a boarding pass. I could see the gate from the security line and the security line was EMPTY. There was no reason for them not to let me get on the plane, but they ended up scheduling me for a flight to Denver with the connecting flight in the morning- delaying my trip 24 hrs and charging me an extra 125$!!! I ended up paying an extra 85$ to American and was able to get to PHX that afternoon! The ladies at United were straight up RUDE too. When I told the lady at the counter my name she rolled her eyes.
Pros: Friendly crew.
Cons: There was a delayed my flight, arrived late, delayed in the plane getting off, nothing but delays.
Pros: She was very understanding to my 37 minute layover in Denver and upgraded me to seat row 11 from seat row 31 to make sure I could get off the plane quicker. Very much appreciated and why I always fly United with my MilagePlus card. I had been on vacation for a week and had to be at work the next day.
Cons: Very nice friendly service, keep up the good work.
Pros: The crew was super friendly
Cons: There was no Social distancing and I was very scared about it
Pros: The window seat was comfortable
Cons: Faster takeoff
Cons: Literally everything. It was my first and last time on spirit.. They seats were like folding chairs bolted to the ground and didn't recline. They made usthrow away our water that we bought at the airport and then charged $3 on the plane. Hidden fees everywhere. F this airline.
Pros: Yes the crew was amazing.
Pros: The staff were amazing. Great job by all!
Cons: Seats were tight and uncomfortable. The kids behind us banged their tray tables on the backs of our chairs for the whole flight, sick people couching non stop, nothing the airline did wrong just not the best overall experience
Pros: Crew was nice and friendly
Cons: Clearly a staffing issue. Was originally scheduled to depart at 9:40am, but did not end up leaving until 4:40pm. Little information was given. Ended up having to wait until the crew had their required break from flying. Clearly a management issue, and I feel bad for the workers at the desk who were treated unfairly by other passengers.
Cons: Waited for 5 hours and finally cancelled the flight
Pros: Flight attendant
Cons: Cost of luggage Cost of seats if you wanted to sit with travel mate Uncomfortable seats We wanted c&e ang got e&f
Pros: We were heading to Maimi today by 5:38 fligh, got caught in bad traffic. Reached airport by 4:55 Pm with great difficulty. They didn’t check in our baggage . they asked us to throw away our check in bag. We asked them get our bag in next flight we were ready to pay for it. But they wanted us to reschedule our tickets instead of putting our check in baggage for next flight ...by the time we decided to take our bag in security and pay extra at door security it was 5:20 , they took our stuff out from the bag that was supposed to get checked in. We were thinking thank god we are good we got our bag , but it wasn’t over after so much pain we reached the door it was 5:25 pm they said they already closed the door. We couldn’t go. spirit airlines is worst airlines i have ever been to. Please share if you had similar experiences.
Pros: Very friendly crew
Cons: Did not like being told to pay for bags, seats, etc. in addition to the ticket. Especially thought that paying to choose a seat was ridiculous. Refused to do that and got seats anyway. Pretty cheesy way for the airline to make money
Pros: Nothing the seats where small I couldn't fit in the seat I was assigned I was stuffed in my seat I couldn't get comfortable my legs kept cramping I won't fly ever again on spirt
Cons: Spirit is a horrible airline you should conduct business with a better company.
Pros: From the boarding, aircraft, and service. The entire experience was great!
Pros: Easy boarding
Cons: Poor Communication with Spirit, extra charges for everything
Pros: For some reason spirit airline doesn't allow check in 1 hour prior to departure. I didn't realize this and since I arrived right at the deadline their computer wouldn't let me check in. Terrible customer service didn't do anything to help. Spend extra money to fly a different airline. They are definitely the worst available.
Cons: Both flights were delayed . I did though receive prior e mail communication about the Tampa flight being delayed. Once in Chicago, no gate listed on my ticket, all personal kept directing us to a gate that a flight to Boston( which was delayed also ) was boarding at the same time my flight to MSP was.suppose to board. absolutely no communication whatsoever about where my flight was or was being boarded or that is was delayed, until 5 min before boarding time . This experience was very irritating and upsetting.. pissed me off and will keep me from using Spirit Ailrlines again!
Cons: Flight got canceled both ways.
Pros: Delay five hours, no water, wreck plane, very expensive, disrespectful crew, dirty environment. I cannot find a single good point for this flight, please do not buy a ticket from them.
Cons: did not receive recheck tag on suitcase - so, recheck process was longer somewhat long wait for luggage in Ft Lauderdale
Pros: The boarding process went quick and smooth especially since we had 3 small children with us. The ticket prices are nice but with all the extra fees it's like highway robbery
Pros: I arrived.
Cons: Every time I fly Spirit Airlines, I swear I'll never do it again. Then I see the low fares and I say "okay, just one more time." This experience was another leg in that cycle. A low fare, a "one more time," and a fierce "oh hell no--never again." When I arrived at the airport, the ticket counter looked like a flea market. It was absolutely mobbed. My flight was departing in about an hour, and one woman in line had already been waiting for 2.5 hours. Since Spirit Airlines does not participate in the mobile boarding pass process (FOR SOME INANE GODFORSAKEN BULLSHIT REASON), I still had to check in and get my boarding pass. And since two other Spirit flights had recently been cancelled, the ticket counter line was a trainwreck. An utter mass of dispirited humanity, waiting, ironically enough, at a counter called "Spirit." I managed to maneuver my way through, and with several strokes of luck and a possible intervention from God, I left the sad zoo of passengers behind me and made it through security, to the gate, and into the boarding line, with my idiotic paper boarding pass. As you might imagine, I was somewhat rushed and a touch flustered, though grateful to be en route to my destination. I was thirsty though, a combination of the morning's odyssey, the recycled cabin air, and this human need to hydrate that we share with literally every living thing on the planet. So I waited patiently for the pilot to extinguish the "seatbelt" sign, walked up to the flight attendants and politely asked for a glass of water. "That will be $3.00," she said. I paused for a moment. Surely there must be a mistake. I wanted water. Not coffee or tea or lemonade or a cocktail. Just a glass of water. This is how I came to realize that access to something that is a biological necessity for survival--that I would be granted gratis almost anywhere else--costs, on Spirit Airlines. Only those with access to a functioning credit card will be served water. Now I understand that keeping costs down is the only way this poor excuse for an airline stays in business. Every one of its passengers is there as a personal compromise, dodging hidden fees for "legroom" and seat selection and peanuts at every turn to get to their location without selling their souls to the corporate demons who've re-vamped the age-old "bait and switch" and call it a bargain. But if Spirit persists in being a seething mess of a nightmare of a preposterous front of a business, and if their customers continue to play along and manage to navigate the utter catastrophe of a process it can become to reach a destination via Spirit Airlines, one might believe that once they sit down in their unassigned (unless you're willing to pay an additional $14 each way) se
Cons: The flight was delayed 30 mins and since my conncetion was so tight, I missed my flight to New Orleans from Ft. Lauderdale. I was re-booked on a flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Atlanta for a 8 hour layover. Once aboard my flight to New Orleans from Atlanta, a mechanical issue left us sitting on the tarmac for an additional two hours. My scheduled six hour trip turned into 16 hours. This caused me major inconvenience as I was forced to take an unexpected day off from work. Despite me loosing a day's wages, Spirit Airlines was unable to make any concessions. I paid in full for my checked luggage, despite souvenirs being broken, and was forced to pay for any in-flight beverages & food. Spirit Airline staff was clearly not accommodating nor friendly. Soft drinks and snacks were costly.
Pros: Crew was funny but all had the same funny sarcasm.
Cons: I didn't like the fees for absolutely everything. $10 to print your boarding pass at the airport is ridiculous. I will not be flying Spirit again.
Pros: I liked having an assigned seat so boarding was not a nightmare. The landing was smooth.
Cons: My $147 flight really cost me almost $300 with all of the extras. It's not worth it unless you travel often and join the $9 fare club.
Pros: It was fine this time.
Cons: The seats are not well padded and are small. However, everyone should know that going in. The crew was attentive and polite.
Pros: The flight left on time.
Cons: I can't use TSA Pre-check
Pros: The passengers next to us
Cons: The overall experience: too long to list everything....
Cons: Check in counter was EXTREMELY RUDE. Asked no more than ten seconds after they had told us to have a good day where to leave our checked baggage and the woman snapped and said she was busy... Sorry, you were just unclear the first time.
Pros: On Time Departure and Arrival
Cons: Confusing baggage rules and other add-ons. For Example: check-in bag cost for one piece is different at the time of buying ticket, at the time after purchasing ticket and the last day and at terminal. The costs are not readily available. Personal item that is allowed is too small. I wish it is little bit larger. When you add up all then it may almost come to any other airline.
Pros: The flight and boarding went very smoothly and was pretty much on-time. I enjoyed the flight.
Cons: The announcer was very unprofessional, she lacked the skills required to be an effective communicator. She got the locations mixed up during multiple announcements which confused travelers as to which flights we boarding and when. It appeared she was not aware of the importance of her job because when making the mistakes she had little concern with getting the correct information and herself together prior to making further announcements, she was okay with continuing to make the same mistakes.
Cons: It was so cold on the flight, that I couldn't even just relax and enjoy it. I was so uncomfortable the entire time because it was freezing...
Cons: The seats don't recline with VERY little leg room. Also extra fees for carry ons...
Cons: They cancelled our flight 3 hours before departure and didn't offer another flight until 3 days later!!! Horrible company!! Will never book with them ever again!!
Pros: Nothing to like about this airline except maybe the pilots.
Cons: Same garbage treatment as Baltimore to Minneapolis
Pros: Crew was good. Flight attendants very friendly. Tried to make everyone comfortable.
Cons: Delayed 2 hours at gate due to Spirit IT system glitch. Paperwork had to be done by hand and single supervisor working on another flight that she needed to get on ground before she could work on us. Everything extra. Need to pay step fees to get decent seat, reasonable amount of luggage, and even water. By the time you add all this up, not a bargain. Also they don't participate in TSA pre check so had to wait on lines even with this.
Pros: Nothing at all. Customer service was at the lowest terrible ranking !!!
Cons: Total rip off- Airkines !!!!
Pros: Inexpensive Tickets
Cons: Gate was changed last minute, and nobody bothered to inform all of us who were waiting at the previous gate. I later discovered an email about the gate change, but the Spirit board and the gate signage hadn't changed, so I wasn't checking email. Everyone rushed down to the new gate, and had to walk outside to board. Seats on Spirit are pretty cramped and uncomfortable. They don't recline (at all), and they are thin, so you feel everything happening in the pouch behind your back. The most annoying aspect of the flight, however, was the unending sales pitch about their credit card that was made by the flight attendants as we made our descent. It was ridiculously loud, especially after a dark late night flight, and just kept going and going. I don't fault the staff, who are probably responsible for selling, but I do fault Spirit for forcing a captive audience to hear it ad nauseam. Overall, you kind of get what you pay for here, and I would still fly Spirit again IF they were considerably cheaper than the competition. BTW, remember that Spirit charges for carry on luggage. We shipped our via UPS, which was half as much, thanks in part to shipping via my workplace.
Pros: Everything went smooth! From boarding to landing it was efficient, which is exactly what I expect from this airline.
Pros: everyone on board was wonderful one flight attended especially jazmen!! she rocked!! had me laughing so hard. witty cute and made me forget i was on a flight!! she is a gem
Cons: the call center!!!!!!!! any kind of contact with phone support was like being in a nightmare!!!!! basic info could not be answered without checking. I could not understand half of what 4 different people said to me because they hardly spoke English without so strong of an accent. I was trying to explain that I had been in a car accident and needed info. they said sorry and then tried to sale me cheaper baggage!!! I have to try and control my anger even as I type this!!! oh and I paid more for my 1111111111111!!!!!! checked bag than I did for my flight!!!!
Pros: I appreciated the timeliness of the flight. The captain made sure to make up on lost time due to an 8 min delay.
Cons: The crew had poor attitudes and they charged me 3$ FOR A CUP OF WATER. Spirit should have complimentary water at the least
Pros: Nothing. This is the first and last time I will fly spirit.
Cons: They never sent a way to check-in early and refused to check-in people flying into Vegas from LA because they were 5 minutes late to check-in while we had spent 20 minutes waiting in line. This airline is an absolute joke.
Cons: Ticketing agent in Minneapolis was extremely rude to me. Flight was two hours behind. Staff on board the plane, including the pilot, were extremely courteous however, despite the unfortunate delays. I understand delays happen, but my flights in both directions experienced long delays and, combined with the behavior of the ticketing agent especially, I am not inclined to fly this airline again.
Pros: The staff seemed nice
Cons: The seas do not recline. Everything is extra, so the savings are minimal. No one came up to offer food or drinks. I purchased the flight only because the departure times really fit my schedule, but in retrospect I would have gladly spent extra money to fly with someone else.
Cons: I didn't like that you pay for a carry on that is stupid when your flight is already $400
Pros: The plane crew was aware of the issues and tried to smooth out
Cons: Boarding pricess was out of hell. Almost missed my flight because I was asked to step aside because I had a carry on. Never have a paid $100 for a carry on. This was my first and last Spirit flight. Stay away.
Pros: the flight attendant who did the announcements was hysterical. i liked having the bigger seat in the front.
Pros: The ability to resolve last minute issues with a smile and good manners.
Pros: The supervisor finally responded when I told he that I would wait the 5 hrs to meet her boss because my problems needed to be resolved and since they were caused by the airline she finally agreed
Cons: Zero communication we didn't know our flight was delayed for 3 hrs until trying to check in and nobody cared to try and help and when they did they moved us to another line then their counterparts said we were in the wrong line so then that negated being in line for the previous hour because I was back at the end of the line
Pros: Flight boarded on time and the crew was efficient.
Cons: The seats are too close together and leg room is limited. You do not have the option to adjust your seat back and there is no audio or visual entertainment. In addition, you are charged for the carry on and seat selection, which negates the decrease in flight price.
