Cons: Crew wasn’t as attentive. While my first flight (I had a layover) seemed extra attention and care was put into the cleanliness and order due to Covid, second flight seemed to be a little overcrowded.

Cons: My mother, Linda Thompson, has a progressive neuromuscular disorder, Dystonia. Along with this condition, stress can bring on non-epileptic seizures. My mother has had to endure one of these seizures due to the stress that this incident had put her through. As my mother's power of attorney, I am helping her vocalize this incident that she has experienced. The image below shows the spot where she was left, in the Atlanta airport, in her wheelchair. Delta airlines says they provide safe, accessible travel to all of their passengers. That includes providing an employee to transport physically disabled persons to and from their flights and to their shuttle. An employee accompanied my mother when she got off of her plane arriving in Atlanta from Charlotte. This employee was obligated to transport her where she needed to go. Due to her first flight being delayed, she missed her connecting flight in Atlanta, and had to stay the night until the connection could be made in the morning. They provided her with a voucher to a local hotel and a shuttle to that hotel. The employee who met her at the gate was obligated to help her get to that shuttle so she could get to her hotel in time. As many of us may know, Atlanta airport is one of the largest. You might need to take a train to get from one area to the next. It would be very difficult for my mother to walk that distance with her cane, and that is why she needed a wheelchair. The inconsiderate, selfish employee of whom needed to transport my mother to her destination was coming to the end of his shift. He attempted to hand my mother off to another employee at the desk while she was getting her voucher. Told her it was the end of his shift and he had to clock out. She told him, "You can't leave her here". Her statement, and the way she stated it, made my mother feel like she was a piece of luggage. She ignored it and let the employee take her on her way. She just wanted him to take her to her shuttle so that she could get to her hotel and rest. That did not happen. He strolled my mother along for a moment until they were out of site. They approached a gate, of which was empty, and he told her to wait here for an agent to come by. He left. She waited...and waited. No one ever came and assisted her. She was left like a piece of luggage in the middle of the Atlanta airport with no one around. My mother was treated like a bag that someone did not want to carry around anymore. This situation and the selfishness of that employee makes me think of who else could have been treated like this, or who else could be treated like this in the future. Help me spread this message so that something can be done about this issue. Delta has already been contacted, they do not care enough to do anything about it. I bet they will if this message gets heard by their potential future passengers.

Cons: the 2 stewardesses disappeared as soon as the flight was in the air. i upgraded to business class in what was a huge waste of money. the fact that they do not make alcohol available in business class is pure laziness, and these people are loving it. keep in mind that you can have water juice and pop. i was given the water i asked for after take off, and then she promptly disappeared for the entire 3 hours. she only returned when i pushed the call button. not good.

Cons: American isn’t my preferred airline for obvious reasons (delays, notoriously bad service, old planes, and a lack of amenities like WiFi and tv’s), but now I’ll never spend my money with them again. They took me off an already delayed flight after I’d already boarded to examine my smart bag. I know that lithium batteries can’t be taken in the underbelly of the plane and I knew my bag would likely be checked at the gate (why I removed the battery and left it at home in the first place). When they asked me if I had a lithium battery in my bag I said “no.” They then gate checked the bag and allowed me on the plane. After everyone had been boarded (half an hour after we’d been scheduled to take off) they then called my name out on the speaker. I had to then de-board the plane and re-explain to staff that there was no lithium battery in my bag. The staff didn’t believe me citing the infallible logic: “there are ports so there’s a battery.” I told them again and again that the battery had been removed and the charging ports—while there—were inert as they weren’t attached to the battery. STILL, I had to remove all of my clothes from the bag, and open every single compartment (of which there were many) for them to allow me to get back onto the plane. They were telling me that they might have to “rebook the flight” if my bag couldn’t get on. I don’t think I need to explain how agitated/terrified that made me.

Cons: Because our first flight was delayed over 4 hours we missed our connection and had to be re-booked on the only other flight that still had seats that day. We had previously booked and paid for Main Cabin extra seats in the second row that included extra leg room and free drinks. We ended in an airplane with two exit rows, one near the front and the other near the back. Our seats were right behind the rear exit row in the back of the plane. The seats did not recline and there was limited leg look because the exit row seats were aligned differently due to the crew seat next to the door. Also, the bathroom was right in front of the row in front of us and so it was busy, noisy and smelled. Obviously we didn't get our free drinks either. Now I'm having to fight with American trying to get a refund of the money we spent for the Main Cabin extra fees. The fun never stops. I will never fly American again.

Cons: in the airport, the gate area dirty!, bathrooms dirty, no place to charge phone. The walk to the airplane, getting aboard the plane after the gate and flight changed and delayed. Being told it was weather related on the plane and being told it was MAINTENANCE by customer service. The plane was very crowded, the flight attendants never smiled. WHen i told the attendant i was being "rained" on he said...i know its happening everywhere..... he said there was nothing he could do but get me paper towels...they never came. I was very annoyed getting off the plane walking back and was aweful. and my flight before this was no better i am VERY TURNED OFF BY AMERICAN AIRLINES RIGHT NOW.

Cons: My checked bag, which l paid $25.00 for, didn’t make it on the flight to Pittsburgh. It got there on another flight at 7:30 pm Monday night but no one from American Airlines did anything about trying to get it to me until 11:30 pm. As a result, while l stayed at a hotel only 30 miles from the airport, my bag wasn’t delivered until 2:00 am on Tues, more than 8 hours after l got there. And their website for supposedly checking on lost luggage, status, is next to useless. It gives no useful information. Use the 800 # but state you want to talk with a human when answering the questions in their phone tree. I’ve had other experiences on AA over the last few years that lead me to question their commitment to customer service. I’ll be avoiding American Airlines as a travel option where other alternatives are available.

Cons: crew coming in from another flight was late. Then, according to announcement our plane had been sitting 2 hours and they would have to call for power. It was already a late night flight, now delayed 1 1/2 hours leaving. The plane interior was hot, that helped with our displeasure.

Pros: The flight was delayed by more than two hours which caused us (me, wife, 4yo, and 7mo) to miss our connection from LAX to HNL. We had to stay the night in LA and take a morning flight to HNL. But despite the delay, the gate agent in Charlotte did a good job of updating people and remained very polite even when it was clear people were getting frustrated and starting to get sharp with him. Pilots did a good job of trying to make up as much time as possible. I can't remember how much time they shaved off but I think it was more than 20 minutes. Customer service in LA was solid too. Went to CSD to get our tickets changed. They had already changed our flight to a 8 AM flight. We asked if we could take a later flight because of the kids and he was able to accommodate. They also gave us vouchers for 3 meals and a night at the Holiday Inn. Having a delayed flight is never fun but the AA staff was amazing throughout.

Cons: I can't rate it because they canceled my entire itinerary without so much as an email. I did not take my flight to Wilmington via my original flight. I had to book another flight because the change fees were too expensive. I did not know that my return flight to Denver had been canceled until I was checking in a few hours before my flight. I was told my ticket had no value. Awesome! It really stings that I then had to book a new return flight, and because I am a teacher who makes about $23,000 a year, I had to book the cheapest flight, which was with American. I do not plan on giving them any of my hard-earned money in the future if I can help it.

I think no screens on a cross-country flight is not good business. Not everyone is savvy with go-go inflight. And if there are no screens, could there at least be outlets? I was so tired after my Paris flight and wanted to chill with some go-go entertainment, but my battery was low and there were no outlets. I know not all flights can have these luxuries, but if the flight is over five hours, I think it should be better equipped.

Cons: I was supposed to make the trip from BNA to CHS at 2:30, we were delayed over 1.5 hours, making me miss this flight by 5 mins. Then I was put on 10pm flight which was cancelled! They couldn't get me to HHH until 6pm the following day. I would have missed my entire conference. The closest they could get me was a 10pm flight to charleston, then I had to rent (AND PAY FOR) a car and drive 2 hours to HHH in the middle of the night. The customer service people were less than helpful. They aren't allowed to help you make car reservation. My flight on the way back from HHH to BNA was a similar story. Thankfully my connecting flight was delayed an hour or there was no way I would have made it.

Finally after waiting for an hour on the airport the same flight was change 4 times more. Cons: AgainThe person next to me was so obese she needed two extenqders. She was taking up her seat and most of her neighbors, she was in the middle. I was literally pinned against the aisle arm rest. It was a full flight and I wasn't able to be moved. For the entire flight I was cramped and pinned with no where to go.

Cons: The most uncomfortable seat I have ever ridden on a flight. My back and posterior were in pain for over a day after the flight. Terrible treatment of passengers to pack a few more people in like cattle. Thinnest seats I have ever seen that felt and looked like hard plastic. This was an Embraer 175 jet...will never fly on one of these again. Had a hard landing in excellent weather. Flew the same route back to Charlotte on an American Airlines A320...these seats were comfortable and the landing was smooth even with a 20mph crosswind.

Pros: Quick and easy boarding process; no lingering trying to sit.
Cons: We waited for a while to depart; I believe that's customary dealy for Charlotte Douglas now, so not a sole reflection of United.

Cons: Crew was not friendly. Snack did not taste good. Asked for hot tea but the stewardist was too focused on other things to hear me ask for sugar twice. I ended up with no sugar and didn't drink the tea. Upon departure, no one said "thanks for flying with us" or said goodbye. They were too busy with their own tasks. Delta does it better... No offense.

Pros: While waiting for the flight the agent kept us informed of the status by use of a speaker - said plane just landed and once passengers get off they will get us on board - he also took control and told people that wanted to be first in line to get on board to step aside and clear the way for passengers to get off the plane - pilot let us know we would land around 25 minutes early in Chicago so we were informed - then he explained why we had to sit and wait for a gate at O'hara
Cons: I didn't like that I couldn't take my rolling luggage with me cause it was a small plane and there wasn't the overhead room - then I had to wait afterwards around 15 minutes to get my luggage but the price for the flight was low and they were organized in how it was handled -

Cons: We received a notification 2 hours before our Friday flight that it was cancelled, rescheduled for 24 hours later with no help in finding alternate options. All United employees were rude and non helpful. We were forced to switch airlines to Delta, and I will never fly United again. Very disappointing, we got into Chicago Friday night at 12PM CST, 1AM

Cons: We were delayed and sitting on the plane for almost 4 hours and were left with few explanations. The crew was not friendly.

Cons: My flight was cancelled due to the weather. I had to stay at the hotel with my parents and then fly next day. I had 11 bags and was told that United can't hold bags in airport so I had to take them to the airport. I paid twice for my luggage . I paid about $700 as a sequence for the flight delay.

Cons: I got to the airport 40 minutes early. The flight was out at 6:20, I was there by 5:40. They did not let me print out a boarding pass. I could see the gate from the security line and the security line was EMPTY. There was no reason for them not to let me get on the plane, but they ended up scheduling me for a flight to Denver with the connecting flight in the morning- delaying my trip 24 hrs and charging me an extra 125$!!! I ended up paying an extra 85$ to American and was able to get to PHX that afternoon! The ladies at United were straight up RUDE too. When I told the lady at the counter my name she rolled her eyes.

Pros: She was very understanding to my 37 minute layover in Denver and upgraded me to seat row 11 from seat row 31 to make sure I could get off the plane quicker. Very much appreciated and why I always fly United with my MilagePlus card. I had been on vacation for a week and had to be at work the next day.

Pros: We were heading to Maimi today by 5:38 fligh, got caught in bad traffic. Reached airport by 4:55 Pm with great difficulty. They didn’t check in our baggage . they asked us to throw away our check in bag. We asked them get our bag in next flight we were ready to pay for it. But they wanted us to reschedule our tickets instead of putting our check in baggage for next flight the time we decided to take our bag in security and pay extra at door security it was 5:20 , they took our stuff out from the bag that was supposed to get checked in. We were thinking thank god we are good we got our bag , but it wasn’t over after so much pain we reached the door it was 5:25 pm they said they already closed the door. We couldn’t go. spirit airlines is worst airlines i have ever been to. Please share if you had similar experiences.

Pros: For some reason spirit airline doesn't allow check in 1 hour prior to departure. I didn't realize this and since I arrived right at the deadline their computer wouldn't let me check in. Cons: Both flights were delayed . I did though receive prior e mail communication about the Tampa flight being delayed. Once in Chicago, no gate listed on my ticket, all personal kept directing us to a gate that a flight to Boston( which was delayed also ) was boarding at the same time my flight to MSP was.suppose to board. absolutely no communication whatsoever about where my flight was or was being boarded or that is was delayed, until 5 min before boarding time . This experience was very irritating and upsetting.. pissed me off and will keep me from using Spirit Ailrlines again!

Cons: Every time I fly Spirit Airlines, I swear I'll never do it again. Then I see the low fares and I say "okay, just one more time." This experience was another leg in that cycle. A low fare, a "one more time," and a fierce "oh hell no--never again." When I arrived at the airport, the ticket counter looked like a flea market. It was absolutely mobbed. My flight was departing in about an hour, and one woman in line had already been waiting for 2.5 hours. Since Spirit Airlines does not participate in the mobile boarding pass process (FOR SOME INANE GODFORSAKEN BULLSHIT REASON), I still had to check in and get my boarding pass. And since two other Spirit flights had recently been cancelled, the ticket counter line was a trainwreck. An utter mass of dispirited humanity, waiting, ironically enough, at a counter called "Spirit." I managed to maneuver my way through, and with several strokes of luck and a possible intervention from God, I left the sad zoo of passengers behind me and made it through security, to the gate, and into the boarding line, with my idiotic paper boarding pass. As you might imagine, I was somewhat rushed and a touch flustered, though grateful to be en route to my destination. I was thirsty though, a combination of the morning's odyssey, the recycled cabin air, and this human need to hydrate that we share with literally every living thing on the planet. So I waited patiently for the pilot to extinguish the "seatbelt" sign, walked up to the flight attendants and politely asked for a glass of water. "That will be $3.00," she said. I paused for a moment. Surely there must be a mistake. I wanted water. Not coffee or tea or lemonade or a cocktail. Just a glass of water. This is how I came to realize that access to something that is a biological necessity for survival--that I would be granted gratis almost anywhere else--costs, on Spirit Airlines. Only those with access to a functioning credit card will be served water. Now I understand that keeping costs down is the only way this poor excuse for an airline stays in business. Every one of its passengers is there as a personal compromise, dodging hidden fees for "legroom" and seat selection and peanuts at every turn to get to their location without selling their souls to the corporate demons who've re-vamped the age-old "bait and switch" and call it a bargain. But if Spirit persists in being a seething mess of a nightmare of a preposterous front of a business, and if their customers continue to play along and manage to navigate the utter catastrophe of a process it can become to reach a destination via Spirit Airlines, one might believe that once they sit down in their unassigned (unless you're willing to pay an additional $14 each way) se

Cons: The flight was delayed 30 mins and since my conncetion was so tight, I missed my flight to New Orleans from Ft. Lauderdale. I was re-booked on a flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Atlanta for a 8 hour layover. Once aboard my flight to New Orleans from Atlanta, a mechanical issue left us sitting on the tarmac for an additional two hours. My scheduled six hour trip turned into 16 hours. This caused me major inconvenience as I was forced to take an unexpected day off from work. Despite me loosing a day's wages, Spirit Airlines was unable to make any concessions. I paid in full for my checked luggage, despite souvenirs being broken, and was forced to pay for any in-flight beverages & food. Spirit Airline staff was clearly not accommodating nor friendly. Soft drinks and snacks were costly.

Cons: Check in counter was EXTREMELY RUDE. Asked no more than ten seconds after they had told us to have a good day where to leave our checked baggage and the woman snapped and said she was busy... Sorry, you were just unclear the first time.

Cons: Confusing baggage rules and other add-ons. For Example: check-in bag cost for one piece is different at the time of buying ticket, at the time after purchasing ticket and the last day and at terminal. The costs are not readily available. Personal item that is allowed is too small. I wish it is little bit larger. When you add up all then it may almost come to any other airline.

Pros: The flight and boarding went very smoothly and was pretty much on-time. I enjoyed the flight.
Cons: The announcer was very unprofessional, she lacked the skills required to be an effective communicator. She got the locations mixed up during multiple announcements which confused travelers as to which flights we boarding and when. It appeared she was not aware of the importance of her job because when making the mistakes she had little concern with getting the correct information and herself together prior to making further announcements, she was okay with continuing to make the same mistakes.

Paperwork had to be done by hand and single supervisor working on another flight that she needed to get on ground before she could work on us. Everything extra. Need to pay step fees to get decent seat, reasonable amount of luggage, and even water. By the time you add all this up, not a bargain. Also they don't participate in TSA pre check so had to wait on lines even with this.

Cons: Gate was changed last minute, and nobody bothered to inform all of us who were waiting at the previous gate. I later discovered an email about the gate change, but the Spirit board and the gate signage hadn't changed, so I wasn't checking email. Everyone rushed down to the new gate, and had to walk outside to board. Seats on Spirit are pretty cramped and uncomfortable. They don't recline (at all), and they are thin, so you feel everything happening in the pouch behind your back. The most annoying aspect of the flight, however, was the unending sales pitch about their credit card that was made by the flight attendants as we made our descent. It was ridiculously loud, especially after a dark late night flight, and just kept going and going. I don't fault the staff, who are probably responsible for selling, but I do fault Spirit for forcing a captive audience to hear it ad nauseam. Overall, you kind of get what you pay for here, and I would still fly Spirit again IF they were considerably cheaper than the competition. BTW, remember that Spirit charges for carry on luggage. We shipped our via UPS, which was half as much, thanks in part to shipping via my workplace.

Staff on board the plane, including the pilot, were extremely courteous however, despite the unfortunate delays. I understand delays happen, but my flights in both directions experienced long delays and, combined with the behavior of the ticketing agent especially, I am not inclined to fly this airline again.
