Cons: "Auxiliary generator broken so plan got hot very quickly. Flight was 2.5 hrs delayed due to another mechanical failure. And then once we were in air they generously notified us that the WiFi was broken. Utter garbage."

I was hurting in my knee and my kids ears were hurting badly because the pressure was not controlled while landing. It was a very bad experience and I will definitely think twice about flying Alaska again."

I'd I can hear them so can the other passengers. I will say my flight from Seattle to Anchorage was better. The Chicago to Seattle had me on the verge of tears. I think Delta may be choice to travel from now on. . I don't like paying all that $$ to be treated like I'm an irritation or nuisance on Mother's Day no less."

Wouldn't have been so bad if they didn't only have 1 attendant working the baggage claim desk at RIC, causing me to stand in line for 30 minutes for them to essentially yell me that they had no clue where my bag was. If I had realized the second leg of the trip was overseen by American Airlines and not an Alaska affiliate, I would have likely chosen another flight."

Screwed up my evening plans."

Pros: "The turkey sandwich I had was made with actual sliced turkey, not deli meat. This was a treat for airplane food, and it wasn't very overpriced. It was also a very spacious, comfortable flight. The crew were very friendly and helpful. Alaska is definitely one of my preferred airlines."

Our first class seats were comfortable, but with the supplied blanket, pillow and poor air conditioning it was a hot flight. The cabin personnel were wonderful as per usual, and my tasty gin and tonic soothed any discontent. I wish I could fly this way all the time!"
Cons: "The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor."

The snacks and drinks are decent and what you would expect: small bags of pretzels or cookies and your choice of Coke product or coffee. Using the mobile Delta app made boarding and finding my gate a breeze."

Cons: "Flight was scheduled to leave early, the plane arrived, but they couldn't turn the plane around fast enough. We left the gat late, then pilot said we would still be arriving half an hour early. We arrived about 45 minutes late, and that was a problem because our connecting flight was due to depart now in 15 minutes. Lightning forced the airport to shutdown, which was great, we had a chance to catch our flight, but we were stuck in the airplane, and we couldn't get to our gate until the all-clear. I know this is not Delta's fault, but they did arrive quite late on a flight that, according to them, would be early. They also never communicated to the other flight that there were several passengers catching that connection. So by the time we had ran to catch our connection they had closed the ramp. Lightning hit again, and they shutdown the airport once again, so the airplane was still at the gate for about an hour, and they did not allow the 20+ passengers to board that plane, which was right there. So frustrating. The only thing that saved it was that our new flight was the new airbus, and although it left an hour and a half later, the comfort level was phenomenal."

Cons: "They flew me from Veracruz to Guadalajara 3 hours later than scheduled. Instead of making an effort for several passangers to catch the flight from Guadalajara to Fresno (also ran by Volaris) they would not let us board the Fresno flight; even though the gate was still open and the last passengers were boarding. Instead, Volaris sent me to Los Angeles (they gave me the option of flying to Fresno, but 5 days later. I don't live in Guadalajara and that was not my final destination). In Los Angeles, I had to take a cab from the LAX to the Bus Station, take the bus to Fresno (spend all night on the bus) and take a cab to the Fresno airport to pick up my automobile. Thank you Volaris . . . great job!"
Cons: "It was awful. Was not offered any food and refused when asked for water. Seats are awful uncomfortable and for small people, no leg room at all. No internet no space no comfort nothing. The attendants were rude and refused to speak English. It was horrible I will never use volaris again"

Instead of helping the gate attendant, whom I found fairly arrogant, told me to get out of the line and said I would be boarding last. I expressed that such instruction was nor acceptable since I had paid the priority boarding fee. When I finally uploades the boarding pass (withput their help, I was alloewd to go through only to find out that everyone was boarding a bus to take us to a remote location. So what is the point of charging priority boardong if everyone boards at the same time? If ypu are charging for something you are obligated to deliver what you charged for."

Cons: "Tried to pre check a day before the flight using Volaris app and wasn't able to complete the process, as the app was timing out and it was forcing me to buy a seat in the plan, which I wasn't interested in. It seems to me that the airline is trying to nickel and dime you in every opportunity they have as they wanted to charge us 50 USD extra as our carry on luggage was under the 22 LB restriction but our backpack added 2 pounds. I have never seen an airline that is weighting each and every passengers backs and purses during the boarding process to see how much more money they can get per flight. Also, I found it kind of funny that after take off the flight attendants were selling the empty seats in the front which didn't had more leg room (not first class) but were just closer to the cabin. You are already charging for sodas, CAN YOU JUST STOP THERE?"

Cons: "The main problem was that when I checked in online, I tried to add on more piece of luggage—for a total of 2 checked in. But the computer ended up totaling it as 3 pieces of luggage. There seemed to be no way to change this online. So I asked them to change it when I got to the airport, but they wouldn’t. What was done couldn’t be changed. Another issue I have is with this review questionnaire. They are questions for rating the food and entertainment which the airlines don’t provide anymore. These should be removed from the survey. They should, however, ask how was the process of making the reservation, check-in, and customer service in general. Both from the airline, and any third party service like kayak or kiwi. I’m not satisfied with kiwi as they were closed when I tried to call them. So I had to just fend for myself and spend money needlessly."
