Delta cancelled flight due to weather, which turned out to be sunny. Then rebooked me on a 2 stop flight the next day. Now been on hold for 4 hours with them...
Even tho we paid to have seat next to each other we had to give them up, and my husband who just had major surgery on his hand was given an isle seat which was part of the reason we PAID to have seats next to each other and him in a middle seat
Pros: "The flight between Dothan and Atlanta was hot both ways - several guys were drenched in sweat by the time we got to ATL (which unfortunately is usually transferring for a longer flight elsewhere)..."
Cons: "If the Delta gate agent makes a change, make sure you get a printout of the changes... Our gate agent told us she had corrected a earlier problem (created when Delta changed our flight 2 different times within the month before our flight) and really created a mess with our seats on board, luckily one of the flight attendants was walking by when the gate agent told me and my daughter that she had moved us to the same row... Since, she has then given away our original seats... SMH..."

Pros: "I got to fly where I needed to go."
Cons: "The vents above my entire row of seats did not work, meaning there was never any air coming out even when they were fully open. This made for a long, hot, claustrophobic ride. The flight attendants seemed first disbelieving and later unconcerned that no air came out of our vents. I doubt they even reported them as broken after the flight. Delta's new boarding process is absolute chaos. More than half the plane had no seats assigned until 20 minutes before boarding, and the seats were displayed on a screen a good 25 feet away from the gate, meaning people had to constantly walk back and forth between the doorway and the screen. The gate agents were clearly overwhelmed. If this is how Delta is organized now, I won't be flying on them again."

We left the gat late, then pilot said we would still be arriving half an hour early. We arrived about 45 minutes late, and that was a problem because our connecting flight was due to depart now in 15 minutes. Lightning forced the airport to shutdown, which was great, we had a chance to catch our flight, but we were stuck in the airplane, and we couldn't get to our gate until the all-clear. I know this is not Delta's fault, but they did arrive quite late on a flight that, according to them, would be early. They also never communicated to the other flight that there were several passengers catching that connection. So by the time we had ran to catch our connection they had closed the ramp. Lightning hit again, and they shutdown the airport once again, so the airplane was still at the gate for about an hour, and they did not allow the 20+ passengers to board that plane, which was right there. So frustrating. The only thing that saved it was that our new flight was the new airbus, and although it left an hour and a half later, the comfort level was phenomenal."
Cons: "Really sad in time of Covid19 they sell minimal seats but then put everyone! who did not purchase a seat in the back of the plane, 6 across with ABSOLUTELY NO regard for social distancing, despite the fact the plane was only 1/3 full. The staff gave some BS excuse that weight needed to be distributed to the back of the plane...BS! I was a single person in a middle seat, seated between 2 strangers, one coughing. No wonder our kids' generation believes big business needs to be brought down!"

We were 6 min past curfew leaving SAN and they returned us to the gate. Crew made no effort to hurry. They were ignorant or indifferent. Leaving MCO a week later flight was supposed to depart at 9:00 PM and was delayed 3.5 hrs and then cancelled. Next available flight was 24 hrs later. Frontier apparently only has one flight out of MCO daily. I had to book with Delta to get back to SAN within reason. I will never fly on Frontier again."

As a result she made me gate check it (no cost at least)...trying to keep a 2 year old in a seat for 3 hours with a lap belt that doesn't fit tightly doesn't seem like the best option. After we landed and I retrieved the seat, I spoke with the attendant and respectfully pointed out that it was in fact certified for aircraft. She apologized and accepted the feedback."

Cons: "I was ready for not having the power outlets, no complains about that part, but I didn't realize that the Frontier airlines would be so obsessed about saving their money that you can't even have a free glass of plain water!, everything is for purchase only. I am not even mentioning juices, tea, coffee etc., which are complimentary in all other airlines. The seats cannot be reclined, so you have to sit straight for all the duration of the flight. I hope the Frontier corporate staff monitors these reviews and will improve, but honestly I doubt. Once a person or an airline becomes greedy, there is no way they will change for the best."

It is most reassuring prior to take off knowing that there will be expected turbulence due to weather, and then continued updates during the flight. I believe communication from the pilots should be more than "prepare for take off" and "prepare for landing"."

Spend a little extra and ride a different airline. They were the worse."
