Travelers must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure. Children under the age of 11 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 test result.
Travelers arriving from outside of the countries listed above must have an Exempted International Travel Certificate to enter and transit France, showing that their travel is of an "essential" nature.
Travelers are subject to a 7-day isolation period and take another COVID-19 PCR test at the end of this period.
There are special regulations for travelers transiting through France to return to their country of residence. Only direct transit to reach your country of residence is permitted. Finally got advised on driving to the airport to make the flight change at the Swiss Air counter at O’Hare. The representative told me to bring a note from doctor to switch flights. I did the next day. The same representative looked me in the eye after advising the day before and said there’s nothing she could do. With potatoes carrots and broccoli. Entertainment was pretty lacking. Not a lot of options. Also it was freezing the entire flight."

I had to call the SAS headquarters in Stockholm before receiving any guidance on what to do next. All service attendants ditched the ticketing desk leaving one poor employee to answer questions for over 70 disgruntled passengers. Very very very poor communication. Luckily I was finally able to book a flight using another airline after waiting on hold for 20 minutes with the regional customer service provider."

I got a headache from it. Throughout the process the entertainment units were disabled, when they could have helped distract passengers from this ordeal. The food was disgusting. When the Danish government has repatedly bailed out SAS, it would make a lot more sense for everyone involved to have higher quality Danish products on board for the meals, especially for such things as dairy products."

Cons: "Doing things on time seems to be a concept they don't grasp; boarding seems to happen at the time they state for departure (but that isn't what your ticket says). Explain to me how you can have all your big flights departing at the SAME TIME? Gates are close together for big flights with very little seating area so people are milling about confused about which line is which and not wanting to sit on the dirty floors."

Pros: "This was probably the worst flight I have ever been on (and I have flown internationally a lot - and travel weekly for work purposes Icelandair - hands you a bottle of water and you never see the flight attendant again - this for a 6 hour flight!!!!!! the plane was extremely hot there was no communication to tell people what was going on, that we were late, agents to help - etc etc - nothing needless to say - I will never fly Icelandair again others were worse then us - some had no flight to be redirected too - and side note - the customer service counter at Birmingham - had NO ONE there for over an hour - they had to finally call someone to come down and help the many people there"
Cons: "Icelandair was delayed out of Chicago - but the agent stated our flight would be fine - we would only be arriving 15 min late - and even so - they would "hold" the flight" . We arrived and ran to the gate- people were still boarding - gate was open and the agent said to us and others - oh you are the Chicago people - you have to go to customer service. We find out we have been "bumped" off the flight and placed on a new flight 2 hours later with a non direct flight - we have to go through Birmingham now. We are delayed again out of Iceland and get into Birmingham 1 hour late. We were never told that we had to reclaim our luggage. When we preceded to reclaim our luggage - there was NO luggage. and spent over an hours looking for it Icelandair never put our bags on the plane - and stated they would go on flights sometime the next day - we still have no word"
Cons: "We didn't fly Icelandair, the flight was delayed more than 5 hours because there not enough passengers. Took an extra day to get to Brussels. Not impressed at all. I will be calling Icelandair for compensation."
Cons: "My flight from ORD to Reykjavik was delayed and so I missed my connection to Glasgow. I was rerouted to Amsterdam and got to Glasgow 7 hours after my original flight. Needless to say my luggage did not make it to Glasgow. I arrived in Glasgow on June 14th and did not receive my luggage until the evening of June 17th only because I went to the airport to pick it up myself instead of waiting for it to be delivered on the 18th. Four days of my 12 days of vacation were spent on the phone tracking down my luggage and worrying about whether I'd ever see it again."
Cons: "It's fine if you miss your connection in Iceland to France because you can wait around for the next flight 8 hours later. If the original flight didn't have a delay of 1.5 hours things would have been smooth. Every flight from Icelandair was late and they don't give you an update as to why. The crew told some white lies to make us believe we wouldn't have a problem making our connection."

Unfortunately, the French issued a year ago the following rule: to enter France, the foreign passport must not expire at least 3 months after the return date. British Airways let us fly to London, explaining this to us, how it would be on us if there were problems further down, and that we would have to get our luggage in London. We chose to fly thinking it would be OK, we had listened to an online person who had had the same problem and the French later told him they would have let him in, also I am myself a dual citizen of France and the US, plus I am autistic, an invisible disability (in my case) that makes it impossible for me to travel alone. I usually do not even say it since not much is understood -by those who do not have it- on how to accommodate it However in London BA did not allow my partner to go on. Due to the fact yesterday was Easter Monday, the American consulate in London was closed. We have spent the night in a nearby motel and now, the next day, I am waiting alone back at the airport with our 2 large suitcases while my partner is at the American consulate. We are poor, do not have phone, currency or charger for England, and I do not do well with stress, so it is difficult. Now we cannot easily reach one another. We hope to be able to fly on a standby basis (that's what BA told us we could hopefully do) later today. Sorry for this long letter, I hope it does not bore whoever reads it (if it is even read :). Miserable to say the least because I missed the wedding that I was flying to, the only reason I flew there!"

Cons: "Selecting seats was impossible because it was a British Airways flight operated by American Airlines - when I selected change seats on BA site it would send me to AA.com and when I tried selecting seats there it sent me to BA.com and on it went circles. I was finally able to select seats at the airport. Flight would have also been better if on demand entertainment was available at each seat in coach like newer planes."
