Check in was rough because the check in crew did not know how to manage my international visa documents. Required a long process and 4 people to finally be able to proceed to security. They told us incorrect information several times before acknowledging we did indeed have everything we needed from the start.
Mechanical issue delayed us 2hrs and then once we landed sat on tarmac for 30mins because someone left a vehicle in front of the gaye
An delay of almost 3 hours while passengers were already in the plane kept us very uncomfortable. The food was also very limited. A bad experience overall.
Plane from partner PSA was filthy. Plastic needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Really disgusting to look at and wonder about cleanliness of parts less visible.

It was a train wreck but on an airplane. First off, flight was delayed then we board only to hear two announcements, First weather delays in Orlando and second backup battery warning on emergency lights. After sitting on the plane for almost 2 hours they have us deplane due to the maintenance issue. We were told they were getting another plane. In the mean time, I notice another American- Orlando flight and ask the gate agent if I can switch. He says he cant help me and I'd have to walk to A13 from A37. Really!? I get down there and get a seat only to get an announcement my original flight was RE-boarding. The Then inflight there's no communication and I notice on flightaware were circling over the Gulf of America. I call the flight attendant and of course she has no clue and apparently 5m later the pilot finally tells us about another delay. Why does American always have these service and delay issues? They are my LAST choice in flights now!

Flight to Tampa was delayed taking off due to plane arriving late but no other issues
We were delayed and due to lateness we were traveling from 11pm we were rerouted to FLL and couldnt deplane but stayed on the plane with no extra Service given (extra good options etc$ there Were so many things that could go wrong and did. This was not an enjoyable experience at all thoroughly exhausting
We missed our flight and got stranded in Miami where we had to rent a hotel we could not afford. they would not work with us because they said it was weather related even though the gate attendant said it was not. I could go on but trying to get satisfaction has wore me down, which I believe is the intent. My only solution is to never fly AA again.
We get stuck in the plane when landed during 45min and no communication from the crew People were listening to their phone and music out loud and nobody told them anything I definitely want stop booking spirit flight it is a disaster
Good: It was cheap and they got us to our destination safely. Not so Good: Gates experience with many, many nauseatingly (almost) threatening announcements about bags size and how much they were going to charge us if our bag was too big, even to the point of having a gate agent roaming around through the passengers eyeballing bags size and making people go check their bags in the sizers.
Overall, it was nice. My only complaint was that I purchased WiFi, and it only worked for a fraction of the flight. Everything else was great
Everything is an additional fee. No one said anything when I checking in and got my boarding pass about my small carry on suitcase. Charged me $100 at the gate for that little bag that I still had to take with me. Delays for both flights for no reason and then when I asked everyone said something different. Never flying spirit again. If it was just one thing maybe. This was a show from the minute I got to the airport.
Terrible. The flight was randomly delayed in Chicago causing us to miss our connection and they offered us a flight the next day at 6 am and it would have taken till 345 to get to Pensacola. They didn’t cover any fees. Our bags also supposedly were on the flight to Pensacola and we tried to get them yesterday after driving 6 hours and nobody was available. Worst company ever and will never use them again. Had to pay for a rental. Spirit is claiming in climate weather for the delay but there wasn’t any weather issuesz it’s a bunch of bullshit and I am not happy
Checking in at desk in Chicago was horrible. Person was not friendly never smiled and said my flight was not paid for so I had to give another credit card. Then it ended up that I was charged twice. Then after arriving at my destination had to wait on the phone a long time to speak to a person to fix the double charge! Thank goodness the flight was perfect.
The bag situation was confusing. I didn’t know I had to pay for Carry ons. The seats were uncomfortable and there was no entertainment
It was terrible. I had to pay again once I got to the airport because they said they never received the payment.
bought basic spirit fares, add checked bags - like the up front info on website about this. bring your own snacks, buy a soda after TSA security to bring with you, or buy on the plane (limited selection) all in all, a good experience
4 hour delay, 2 hours in the airport and then 2 hours on the tarmac. With a flight full of kids it would have been better to leave us in the airport for the delay, it was crying kids chaos on the flight. Miserable. And no apology or airline credit for the significant delay.
