Flight from MSP to PHX was delayed an hour, which messed up our transportation down there. Minimal word was given, at time of boarding they then delayed 30 min, then when that time expired they added another 30. VERY UNORGINIZED, and unprofessional. Terrible service, terrible airline, don't be tricked by 5% cheaper fairs... they suck!

They canceled our flight home from PHX to MSP, they blamed weather in DFW, which is bull, there were many other airlines flying out of DFW that morning. Because they blamed weather, there was no compensation for screwed up schedules. The next available flight was 2.5 DAYS later!! no other options, it was ridiculous... they were no help to get rebooked on another airline, or even driving to another airport... horrible all around. We ended up driving to Mesa Gateway, flying Alegiant Air to Fargo, renting a car, driving 5.5 hours back to MSP to get our car, then 2.5 hours home again. But it's all good, Spirit refunded that leg of our fare... $220... we spent over $750 to get home by 1am, when we should have been there by early afternoon. DONT EVER FLY SPIRIT - THEY'RE THE WORST...

The check-in staff were very friendly and helpful.

I already knew I was going to pay $200 to ship my boards back home (I wonder if golf clubs which are roughly the same size cost as much,) but when pre-purchasing through the app for an "oversized" bag you have to put a "one" in the checked bag and a "one" in the oversized bag even though they're the same bag, but then they charge you for two, and when you tell the check-in person that you only have one bag of course they can't issue a refund. No, they tell you that you get to call customer service when you return home.

I was told that I had to gate check my bags which had all of the necessities to travel with my child ( snacks, books, toys) due to it being a full flight. When I boarded, there were still several overhead storage bins completely empty. Very annoying. The crew could have physicallt assessed and checked before assuming due to flight capacity.

The staff were fine, nothing really great, but nothing bad either.

So, we'll start with boarding. Why airlines can't figure out to board the plane from back to front is beyond me. No, let's load front to back so everyone has to uncomfortably shove past the people who have already taken their seats at the front of the plane. Then you get back there and all the overhead bins are full because everyone takes as many bags as possible onto the plane. Then you have to sacrifice the already tiny amount of foot room, "to put the bag fully underneath the seat in front of you." At this point you should be fine, except if you're over five and a half feet tall (I don't know if that's true I'm 6'2" and 275 lbs,) because then your knees are going to be buried so deep in the chair in front of you that the person up there doesn't even need a seat they can just sit on your knees. Luckily for you tall people, they put a nice metal rod just about knee level to really dig in and cause pain . . . Yay! Being a big guy, you try to be considerate and fold your arms in to give the person next to you as much space as possible, but don't expect that back as they'll spread out and become as wide as possible. Then to distract yourself from the discomfort, you try to use the free in flight entertainment via the United app, but "it's not available right now." In summation either be short and small or be rich and buy the seats with extra legroom when you fly United.

I liked getting to my destination safely.

I didn’t like the incredibly packed Spirit Airline checkin area with little to no staff for assistance. The one or two that were there were not very approachable or helpful. The worst part was my flight being delayed for one hour due to “flight staff not available” to fly. To add insult to injury, the news of the delay was not posted in the airport departure screens nor on the spirit website/app.

It was a Friday and the earliest they could fly us out was Sunday, we were scheduled to fly back Monday. There wasn’t even an apology or attempt to get us on another flight. We walked ourselves over to the frontier counter where they were willing to help us figure something out. That flight actually ended up delayed and they gave us vouchers for the delay so we would fly with them again in the future. The airlines are a service industry and spirit gets a 0 in my eyes.

Our flight was delayed for over 2 hours with no explanation. Once boarded,we sat with the props running on the tarmac for another hour without reason. The weather was fine and it was a very small airport so there was no backup on the runway. Once in the air, the pilot (only pilot on the plane) left the cockpit unattended and spent 10 minutes in the bathroom.

That I didn’t have to drive

The plane was extremely loud and cold. They charged me $7 at the check in gate because I didn’t check in online. I had no bags and a 1-hr one way trip - I just figured they would have the touch screen check in but they don’t. Instead they charge $7.

The fact that my wife who was at home in the States knew of my flight delay before I did and I was at the airport at noon. The fact that the airline waited until the last moment to make arrangements to get us on a different airline which took me to miami. I had to take a different airline to my final destination. I paid $35 for my baggage and it is some where in miami and not at my final destination. A flight that should have taken less than 2 hours took almost 10 hours. The airline never communicated with the passengers. How do I get my bag from Miami and who has to pay. I'm sure the other passengers from my flight are wondering how they can get their baggage. Since we were told that the bags who be transferred to our destination not that we had to pick them up from baggage and take them to our next flight.

Even though I was disappointed by not being able to get the boarding passes from Delta for Aeromexico’s connecting flight to Bogota, I had an agent greet me after customs in Mexico to issue the boarding pass so I could use the transfer flight line. Excellent service throughout the entire trip.

Flight arrived late from international location so we needed to wait 20-30 min extra for inpection. Then, it left over 2 hours late due to mechanical issues which were never entirely fixed as we waited inside the plane. On top of that, there were only two tv channels working the entire flight

At this point you should be fine, except if you're over five and a half feet tall (I don't know if that's true I'm 6'2" and 275 lbs,) because then your knees are going to be buried so deep in the chair in front of you that the person up there doesn't even need a seat they can just sit on your knees. Luckily for you tall people, they put a nice metal rod just about knee level to really dig in and cause pain . . . Yay! Being a big guy, you try to be considerate and fold your arms in to give the person next to you as much space as possible, but don't expect that back as they'll spread out and become as wide as possible. Then to distract yourself from the discomfort, you try to use the free in flight entertainment via the United app, but "it's not available right now." In summation either be short and small or be rich and buy the seats with extra legroom when you fly United.

I was so pleased that United offered the flexibility to change my flight before the chicago snowstorm without incurring a change fee.

I paid for seats on my original flight. But ended up sitting separate from my traveling companion on the new flight.

I was told that I had to gate check my bags which had all of the necessities to travel with my child ( snacks, books, toys) due to it being a full flight. When I boarded, there were still several overhead storage bins completely empty. Very annoying. The crew could have physicallt assessed and checked before assuming due to flight capacity.

Stuck in Denver because our flight was delayed so we missed our connection to Houston. Couldn’t get a hotel voucher because they are claiming a weather delay (which there was none).
