Cons: "This plane is so outdated. For such a long flight, these days entertainment is everything. The movies got interrupted every time an announcement was made (as in the screens went black and never came back on only the sound) this happened to 3 movies! The “wifi” completely useless."

Cons: "Since we were in one of the last groups to board, there was no room for our carry on and had to be checked. Yet there are people in the previous classes who have two carry on bags and both are checked. There needs to be a penalty for this."

Pros: "The staff were polite and the pilot kept us on time. The flight wasn’t over booked and I was able to have an extra seat between myself and the other passenger in my row."
Cons: "That due to the Kayak purchase I had to wait until the last group to board."

Cons: "Flight was delayed twice, plane was old and dirty in need of maintenance. We had Hard landing and had to unboard onto a people mover. Thankful it was a short flight."

Cons: "We delayed in TUS on the runway and in LAX due to congestion at LAX. Nearly half of us had to sprint to make out connections. Luckily, LAX never launches planes on time. More a fault of LAX and it’s inefficiency than AA. Still annoying."

Pros: "Great flight even though delayed. Flight attendants were friendly and the seats were comfortable, unlike on the international leg."

Pros: "It was 1 in the morning in the Philadelphia airport and I had an 8 hour layover and there were no vending machines available and an airport worker went and got me a drink and some chips and would not take any payment. I call that going above and beyond his job duties. Very pleasant man."
Cons: "They layover was a little much and to get one with a better time was $300.00 and all I wanted to do was get to Watertown NY to see my grandkids."

Pros: "AA got me home safe."
Cons: "Entertainment was nonexistant. Most movies were unavailable and those that were would start and then say “no longer available” monitor did not work. I was not the only passenger with issues. Many could not get system to work. Antiquated and/or poorly maintained. Also, announcement made it seem as if you had to pay for wine/beer/spirits. I wasn’t drinking so it didnt matter but at other times this would have been a hassle. Never had this on an international flight. Flight was okay just not top drawer like it used to be. Cost cutting measures have impacted the brand. Would not say it is first tier. Dont mind a “no frills” flight if it results in lower cost to consumer (aka Southwest Airlines)"

Pros: "Crew very friendly couldn't be more helpful. Food snacks and drinks good. Very efficient boarding system the best I've encountered."
Cons: "Roof mounted tvs a bit disappointing and the films were just repeated. Coffee needs coffee in the cup, it was just milk and water no taste of coffee."

Pros: "Good flight. Fairly comfortable flight. Attendants Were friendly and helpful."
Cons: "The movie was mediocre. Biscuit cookie was tasteless. Would prefer peanuts or pretzels."

Cons: "Escape row seat in a non-escape row wasn’t too fun or comfy. Took half the flight to connect to the WiFi to watch movies to discover that the selection was limited and poor selections at that."

Cons: "BA redirected online check in to AA and seats were available early, not 24 hrs before flight, what is different seat policy from BA. I didn't know that and I was late to find 2 seats besides for me and my family member."

Cons: "Slow flaky entertainment system didn't work at all in some seats, needed multiple 10-minute reboots in other seats. I was unable to complete a 2 hour movie on a 9 hour flight. No internet."

Cons: "This was my first time flying First Class. Not only was my flight delayed but everything was changed last minute. My seats, layovers, EVERYTHING! I was better off paying for a regular seat. I'm a young African American and the stay treated me as if I didn't belong in First Class! Not to mention the last time I flew into LAX American Airline lost my luggage! I have proof to show! Absolutely ridiculous!"

Cons: "Cancelled flight. Booked on another 2.5 hrs later. Seating not until the last moment. No human touches... all mechanical / perfunctory."

Pros: "There were no seats available together so we were upgraded to the extra room seats so that we could all sit together. As a mother flying by herself with 2 children, one of whom is on the Austin spectrum this gesture of being able to keep us together meant so much to all 3 of us. Thank you"

Pros: "I don't know what they've done, but I thought it was an awesome flight. I had plenty of leg room, seat recline wasn't pretty decent, and the meals were good. All but one flight attendant was super friendly. I've never thought much of American, but after this flight my opinion has changed."

Cons: "Honestly I am not a big fan of AA. I made a mistake booking my flight but couldn't change it because it was going to cost an arm and a leg. The staff are rude and don't try to help you. It's just a job for them to get by and it shows. Many including myself isn't big fans of AA. I wish this airline gets bought out by Southwest who understands value and elite customer service. They don't charge every little thing like American. I hope soon they can fly into Colorado Springs."
