In fact, there was a whole group of passengers traveling on American from different US cities, switching to RJ in Chicago, whose luggage did not come on the flight to Amman. My advice: be sure to pack enough for a couple of days in your carryon - and don't accept an offer to check your carryon to its final destination!"

Flight also arrived late, causing transportation issues."

We got delayed by 4 hours in Chicago and missed our connection in Manchester. We had another 5 hour wait there. By the time we got to Dublin, our bags didn't also arrive. After almost 24 hours of travel, we arrived but without all of our stuff."

My luggage did not arrive with me. Both of my suitcases were mangled and broken. Items in my suitcases were shattered and crushed even though they were well packed and protected. We got stuck on the terminal in MSP and missed our connecting flight. When we finally arrived the systems were down and could not get new flights or hotels. We were told we could not get hotels and had to argue for an hour. Even though it was a maintenance issue. I arrived a day late and had to take extra leave. The plane from LAX to Tokyo was horrific. I booked a window seat, was stuck in the very middle. There was no way to charge outlets devices. The screen did not work. And my new luggage was also damaged with even more items destroyed."

Also, I've never been to an airport where you exit the boarding doors in the terminal then head down stairs to the tarmac to board a bus that make a complete lap of the terminal going near every AA plane obviously trying to figure out which one they need to drop us off at. If can get this close to losing people I now understand how luggage gets lost so often."

Cons: "i had my boarding pass and chose my seat some time ago, in row 4. When I checked in, the AA representative switched my boarding card and I was told that my seat was no longer available. When I got to the gate, I spoke to the gate attendant. There were several people also speaking to them about their seats. I did not have a seat assigned to my boarding pass, so I stood until the entire plane boarded and the gate attendants could sort things out. In the end, I was given a seat at the back of the plane, even though booked my seat some time ago and am a Sapphire member. When I boarded, there was no room for my carry-on luggage. The flight attendant already understood what happened. She immediately took my bag, and found a space at the front of the airplane. This is the second disappointing flight in a row in 2 weeks I have had with AA. I'm not sure if it's just bad luck, or has something to do with the company. I had flown with U.S. Airways for years and never experienced any major issues."

I have never been this disappointed with a flight in my entire life, and I travel a lot. I will call the frontier supervisor and talk to them regarding this matter personally. I will not just let this one go."

Your airline has taken advantage of this allowing me to book my flight with your airline all to be charged a rediculous amount for luggage. That was only the beginning of the disappointment. Then you have managed to squeeze even more $ out of us by charging an "optional" seat choice because all people have seating prefrances. All that aside your damn company is so cheap that you won't even give us a free drink/ soda or juice. God knows after the flight, luggage and seats I feel like everyone has paied enough that you should be able to give us a lousy drink. I asked for a cup of ice and never recieved it. Flight attendants were pretty snippy and one of them damanded that I "pull down the window shade" claiming to keep the plane cool. In all of my life and all the flights I have been on I choose a window seat whenever possible and have never been asked to close my shade by a flight attendant. Hell if it needs to be closed you might as well not even put windows in. After all that to to it off my bag did not come out of the carrocel when I got home. It was turned off and left over bags collected. The lady who was helping started to call around and investigate. Ironically I decided to get the insurance and when I brought that to her attention she tells me that spirit has no association with the insurance and it was my responsibility to "hire a lawyer" and bring this to this unknown insurance company that won't even work with the baggage handlers. The while thing was a compleat disappointment from beginning to end. Lucky for you guys there are enough people in this world so you don't have to rely on return passengers."

All the representatives were nearly impossible to hear due to their low volume and nearly impossibly to understand because of their thick accents. By far the worst travel experience I've ever had."

Cons: "The worst customer service ever. Total disregard for cancelling my flight and the only offer the gave me was to fly stand by on the day that was scheduled to return. Ruined the wedding trip which I never made it too."

Cons: "It's ultra low price, but that's only so they can nickel and dime you. Carry On charges, seat choice charges (they tried to stick me in the middle seat unless I paid extra), no water, no magazines.... the seats don't recline and are hard as rocks. It was SO amazingly uncomfortable that I actually had to go to a chiropractor immediately after."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed 4 times for over 4 hours with zero notice from the airline. And once we actually boarded they delayed us another hour for some bullshit when we could see them still fueling and unloading luggage. Leaving us a 7 hour trip. No dinner and couldn't check into our hotel cause we were to late."

Cons: "Price was deceiving, add seat fees & $50 for carry on, you're better off going with a REAL airline. Boarded then unboarded for over an hour due to a "computer glitch." Waited another hour on the plane for take off. Lack of communication from crew on updates. No attempt to compensate for inconvenience. Did not even offer water to passengers. When I asked for water, flight attendant told me he could be fired! I'm scared to fly home."

Cons: "Seats are hard. No adjust on seat at all. Everything down to water cost money. No in flight entertainment avaiable. Carry on luggage ranges from $35-100. Flight back was cancelled and no help was given to find my way for the next 24 Hrs until the next flight is available. Service people were short with me when all I wanted was information. My flight was cancelled although other flights to my destination on other airlines were not cancelled."
Pros: "the crew on the plane. The all were outstanding and that all are the only reason I have anything to talk good about this airline. The ease of booking through Kayak was great."
Cons: "Spirit's website kept giving me issues while trying to check in and pre pay for luggage. I could not complete either. The customer service during checking, agent was a total dick and was not willing to help me at all. I had to pay full price for luggage even though it was their site that would not let me complete the prepay. I had a question at the kiosk and the agent would not answer any of my questions or come out to help me. I was really confused of why. He was not busy. I was the only there at the time. Oh. They claim to be the cheapest airline. Well they are not. They would not budge on luggage pricing for the military that has to bring a lot of uniforms and equipment with them. Back to the price. The purchase of the ticket was cheap. But then they nickel and dime you. It cost me an additional 150 dollars for one checked luggage. After all the nickel and dining, it would have been cheaper to fly one of the other airlines, and the amenities would have bee better on another airline. Heck, spirit does not even do the pre-check. I should have stuck with American. Overall, American would have been cheaper and they take care of their military personnel."

Pros: "Price was right for those of us who can travel without luggage, if you need luggage than fly Southwest. The is a budget airline and it shows. They do let you bring on a backpack as a free item, just make sure the backpack is smaller than a carry on. I can squeeze a weeks worth of clothes with a backpack. it would be cheaper to fed-ex your suitcase to where you're going. Bring your own food. Seats don't recline and there's no legroom. You can upgrade to more room, but, then why not fly the more expensive airline anyway?"
