That was particularly annoying, especially since the optics of the situation were such that I used miles to purchase the flight and got "screwed-over" with respect to my seat selection as if my ticket held less weight than other passengers..."

My fight from San Juan to Miami on Friday Oct. 7 was cancelled because of hurricane Matthews, since I didnot buy a roundtrip with AA they did not reimburse or offer me a credit for my returning flight. I contacted AA in two ocassions and both times their personnel were impersonal and even rude to me with the whole situation. I ended up losing $250 because of choosing American Airlines. I will do my best to avoid traveling with American ever again, and I will spread the word, as well. I felt robbed, so unfair."

Cons: "Our originally scheduled flight out of CMH was cancelled within minutes of getting through security. We were told to wait for another flight-which was scheduled to depart 3 hours EARLIER, but had yet to depart. 3 hours later THAT flight cancelled, and we were rebooked for a flight the following day. So we were out our first night's accommodations as well as transportation to/from the airport that day. The next day we boarded our scheduled flight, sat on the tarmac for awhile, then went back to the gate and de-planed for some unknown reason. We were then re-booked on a different airline. THAT flight was then delayed, which would have caused us to miss our connection to EDI. The ticket agent worked for an hour to find us a flight to EDI that wasn't going through Newark (delays from hell) or Chicago (weather from hell). She finally put us on a flight with an all-too-brief layover in Amsterdam after a connection in Detriot. At this point we have boarding passes coming out our arses, It's 5pm and I haven't eaten since 9am, and we're STILL not out of our departure city. Our projected arrival time was going to cost us ANOTHER night's accommodation, as well as cause us to miss previously paid for engagements. 2 more delays allowed us to finally land in our destination about 40 hours after our original itinerary, with no apology or effort to amend the situation in any way."

When we arrived there the line was almost an hour and a half just to check bags we almost missed our flight. When we got to the counter ans told him we were both military flying on orders and asked to be tsa checked he had no clue what we were talking about so this kind woman helped him do his job, needless to say he was a manager. Once we got out tickets the seat assignment said see agent so we did. He hands us our tickets and we are a plane length apart. Let me mind you we both just left our child for a 8 month deployment overseas. We asked the guy if it was possible to get seats together wouldnt even acknowledge we were speaking to him. So we tried again he held his hand in my face and told me he serviced me and to please step back. Ive been bawling 2 hours straight from having to leave our son. So we stepped back. Then in the line this couple comes up and they were looking for seats together, i kid you not he gave them seats together! I will NEVER EVER fly united every again. Thank goodness for this kind gentle to switch me seats on the plane because i was crying i had to leave my fiance after i just had to say goodbye to our son for 8 months!! I was so shocked!!! I will tell every single person i know to never use united! You guys should be ashamed of our company! I will inform every active duty member i come across!"

I had a very unpleasant episode with one female attendant which yelled at me and talked in an un appropriate tone when I needed to use the toilet. There are manners and ways to say things and anyone would listened to them. As a customer I deserve respect, as they deserve respect from me. I am a frequent traveler and been flying basically all my life. And never encountered a flight attendant with such a bad attitude. I travel abroad the US several times a year. After this incident I am not sure if I want to fly with United again, if they make poor choices when they select their crew ."

Call ______ for rebooking flights.” It wasn’t until I found a worker for another airline that I found out that meant the desk didn’t open until two hours before the flight. Then, the agent printed out my luggage tags 8 or 9 times before she finally sent me to another agent to print it correctly. I paid extra to sit in the legroom seats (1F). When I boarded, it turns out I was reassigned to 5F with no explaination. Cramped seating with my knees against the seat in front of me and the seats do not recline. I will be requesting a refund for the extra fee paid. I understand, you get what you pay for, but I was disappointed."

Overall there were far too many overhead announcements that made me begin to tune them all out (even ones that might have been important)."
Pros: "Original flight was canceled we were stuck in Vegas for three days with no compensation because they claimed it was because the weather. Our second flight out of Vegas was canceled we rebooked it through St. Louis and they compensate us for the rental car to take us to ohio"

Cons: "I am very disappointed that when I checked in I had to purchase a seat for 16.00, apparently if you buy a ticket it does not mean you have bought a seat on the airline???? This is outrageous. I also had to pay 25.00 for a carry on. I have never had to pay for a carry on. Needless to say I do not think I will ever fly Frontier again. I am very disappointed in Frontier Airlines."

I was asked to move seats because frontier messed up a family's seating assignment. Then when we arrived in Denver we sat in the plane for almost an hour because our gate wasnt available for our plane because we were late. I will NEVER fly frontier again. Terrible experience. I want my money back."

This was a terrible experience with Frontier."

Cons: "I am very concerned with the staff of Frontier as how they could let not one, but two passengers on their flight who are CLEARLY past the legal limit of being intoxicated. I had two passengers, mother and daughter, who were in front, and beside me who were stumbling while walking to their seats, had slurred speech, and absolutely reeked of alcohol. I had made a point to one of the flight attendants about it, they did not do anything more than shrug it off, and then not only did I point that out, they went ahead and served them more alcohol 20 minutes later into the flight! More specifically two Coors and two small bottles of Vodka for the woman sitting next to me, and a Coors for the woman in front. They were causing me discomfort by making their drunken jokes, but the woman next to me made no due regard to personal space (which I get the airline at that point cannot control). However, the woman to my side had been alot less touchy-feely prior to receiving more alcohol. Not to mention I had paid the extra money for the assigned seats, which were added on to our total charges, but suddenly disappeared when I received my itinerary online. I will never book through this agency, or fly Frontier again."

The flight back was uneventful except that we waited at the gate for 45 minutes and then moved to another gate. This airline charges for everything, even a beverage."

It took forever to prepay for our checked bags. We even had to call their online support staff because their Web site is so full of bugs. They also charge even more for a carryon bag than a checked bag -- which is ridiculous -- so the entire overhead bins were empty. Insane. A few of the ticket counter staff were lazy rude utter morons. Others were helpful. The planes seem very old. The seats are uncomfortable and small. No entertainment system. Every little thing has an exorbitant cost -- including coffee or coke -- on a 4 hour flight. It's cheap ---- but not cheap enough for the horrible experience and lack of service and lack of quality or comfort. Buses are much more comfortable."
