We paid $50 to pre check luggage then have to fight for a place in the overhead storage for a small backpack and a coat because of all the possessions priority passengers bring onboard. Thanks for the coke..."

Sometimes you can watch on the iPad in a browser, other times you need a flash player or the AA app. Have a common way of at least accessing the internet, otherwise it can take 10 minutes to log in if switching from a GoGo yo Panasonic service. It is just too difficult and buggy. I am glad I don’t actually pay for the internet."

American Airlines tried to help and eventually were able to accommodate me through purchasing a new ticket and ensured my husband and I were still sitting together. Kayak and csfare basically told me sorry for your luck. I will not use this company again."

On the 4th delay announcement I had to rebook my international flight for the following day because my connection was leaving Chicago while I was still in Columbus. I had to rebook and get a hotel for the night on my own expense since American Airlines won't pay if it is weather related even though the weather was not the issue, rather air traffic control. The plane we got the next day was a smaller uncomfortable plane with zero entertainment and a crew that projected they would rather be anywhere else. I don't blame them, my experiences with American Airlines had been progressively getting worse."

Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

Cons: "Our originally scheduled flight out of CMH was cancelled within minutes of getting through security. We were told to wait for another flight-which was scheduled to depart 3 hours EARLIER, but had yet to depart. 3 hours later THAT flight cancelled, and we were rebooked for a flight the following day. So we were out our first night's accommodations as well as transportation to/from the airport that day. The next day we boarded our scheduled flight, sat on the tarmac for awhile, then went back to the gate and de-planed for some unknown reason. We were then re-booked on a different airline. THAT flight was then delayed, which would have caused us to miss our connection to EDI. The ticket agent worked for an hour to find us a flight to EDI that wasn't going through Newark (delays from hell) or Chicago (weather from hell). She finally put us on a flight with an all-too-brief layover in Amsterdam after a connection in Detriot. At this point we have boarding passes coming out our arses, It's 5pm and I haven't eaten since 9am, and we're STILL not out of our departure city. Our projected arrival time was going to cost us ANOTHER night's accommodation, as well as cause us to miss previously paid for engagements. 2 more delays allowed us to finally land in our destination about 40 hours after our original itinerary, with no apology or effort to amend the situation in any way."

He was so big he was in my space and had didn't make any effort to try not to spill over in my area. I had to put a magazine next to my thigh because his body was so hot it was damp! I hated the entire trip. I was cramped up and extremely uncomfortable. This is simply unacceptable to have this happen because huge people can't fit in one seat. I want these obese people to be required to purchase 2 seats because they take mine."

There were 3 off duty flight attendants sitting next to me and each had 2 large bags. Multiple other people had multiple oversized bags they were allowed to carry on. This infuriates me. I brought one bag, and a smaller than regulation one at that and I had to check it because other people were allowed to bring multiple bags. If you know a flight will be a tight squeeZe, limit people to one bag each."

Cons: "I was traveling with my 1 year old on my lap and they assigned me a middle seat. Before boarding I spoke to the agent at the gate and was told the flight was full and that he couldn’t change it. He then proceeded to tell me that they could upgrade my seat for a charge of $75 I said no. He then said that if I changed my mind during the flight it would be more. While in flight I went to the bathroom and saw the two back rows were completely empty and there were 6 other open seats in the isles and window that were not the extra room ones."

Cons: "I will never fly with Spirit again. Their tickets are cheap but they make up for that by charging the highest bagging fees I've every paid. If I checked my bag it would be cheaper than carrying it on! Even though I AM THE ONE DOING THE WORK. Every time I fly with Spirit they increase the carry on price. I flew with Alaska last week and there was NO carry on price and $25 for a checked bag. Not to mention the leg room of their seats is minimal, especially for a tall person and their planes just seem old and run down. Their staff obviously HATES working for them. I've witnessed numerous bad attitudes from their flight attendants towards other passengers. I've had someone be overserved alcohol on a Spirt flight and they puked all over me! The flight attendants that overserved the guy barely gave me any towels or anything to clean the vomit off of my purse and legs. The icing on the cake this time for me is that now on top of exorbitant carry on baggage fees they NOW CHARGE $3 FOR A WATER BOTTLE. This airline is a complete joke and they have taken my money for the very last time. Stay away from them if you possibly can."

Cons: "Sprit change for any single thing. Don’t even the water is free, after all the saving that you had when you book the fly, you pay more on the end with the change of carrion on, food, drinks and seats. This is a fraud what Spirit works."

Cons: "the fact that I was awoken to a phone call from Spirit telling me not only my flight was cancelled but that my only option was to go through 3 cities before going home and I would be delayed by over 12 hours, which meant missing a very important meeting. When I got to the airport, I was told that there were no flights so don't even ask. Once I explained that the woman on the phone already switched my flight but told me that I could get on a standby list for the flight was a direct flight at 3pm to get to the airport by 1pm. I was there early, however the woman at the counter was very rude and wouldn't even look into it, just told me know. I asked if meal coupons or something would be given out for the inconvenience, and was told NOPE, we do not do that, it is against policy. I asked to speak with a supervisor, she said he was at lunch but I could wait for an hour, I asked who was the stand in supervisor, some guy came up and said, I am sorry ma'am we don't do that unless you are waiting at an airport for more than 4 hours. I explained that I was going to be waiting in the Las Vegas airport for 7.5 hours, he told me oh well, there is nothing they could do, I chose that flight. Wait, what? No I was only given that as an option, I didn't chose anything, I wanted to be home by 7pm that night not 8am the next day! When the supervisor showed up he was extremely dismissive as well. Told me I chose the other flight so too bad so sad, type of attitude. I was astonished! Then when I get to the gate, the gate changed, so I had to go to another gate. When I get there I ask the guy from downstairs (the second person I spoke with at the counter), like 15 mins after seeing him, and I asked if my flight was leaving out of that gate, he acted as though he had never seen me before and said I don't ma'am I have no idea who you are or where you are going, seriously??? I get to Vegas and ask the woman at the Spirit counter there about my bags, she said there is no guarantees in life we will just have to wait and see if my bag makes it to chicago, asked again about the coupons, no ma'am you chose this route that is not our problem, that is yours. I was so disgusted by this whole experience."
Pros: "Flight was cheap"
Cons: "Customer service at the ticket counter was poor. Person was very slow and didn't appear to know what to do to check our bag. After standing in line for ten min we were turned away to the kiosk to print out boarding pass as they said they would not do it at the counter. When we flew out of Baltimore they printed our boarding passes at the counter where we checked our bag. Process was not consistent."

Cons: "The fly cancel in my way back....tell me about storm inn Dallas.....but AA and soulthwest airlines...fly normaly to same destination...???? Why only Spirit??? Kill me and my family!!"
Cons: "The only problem was a departure delay of almost two hours going to Boston and an hour or so departure delay leaving Boston. Other than that Spirit did a great job boarding, flying, and departing each plane."

Cons: "The plane was late also mid air there was a fight which I found to be very unsafe !!!!"

Cons: "Very little leg room and the seat back did not recline at all. That was for a red eye flight. I'll never do that again. ALSO. 45 minute wait to check in and drop the bags even thought I had pre-printed my boarding pass, prepaid for my seats and bags while other travelers in the same line did not have their travel documents pre-printed. The total cost of the tickets, the seats and baggage was no better than flying Southwest. The seats are so very tight that I'll never fly Spirit again."

Cons: "Ticketing agent did not cater to customer. She was extremely curt and unresponsive to customer. Did not demonstrate high quality customer service."

Cons: "Every little thing is extra including seat choice. This would effect my desicions when flying with my family. I have young kids and not knowing we can sit together would not work. Long lines at fast bag drop would also make it hard to fly with kids."
