The plane is dilapidated. Arm rests peeling off. The bathroom doors were hard to close. Looks like the plane was not updated since 1990. They ran out of food for purchase so we couldn’t even buy a snack.
Great to have a direct flight from Jakarta to Perth.

TVs didn’t work, air conditioning didn’t work, flight crew came by one and that was it
It was delayed and no.entertainment unit. Lion group air is giant company with poor record of service.
Boarding was generally quick, staff were friendly and did assist people when needed. The plane wasn't cleaned well with remnants of the last passengers. Tray tables were falling down and back of seats falling apart. The AC was turned up too high and we were all freezing, i was actually shaking uncontrollably until the heating was put back on. No entertainment at all which is hard when travelling with children. Minimal food choices and cash only option. I know its a budget airline but some minor improvements could make a good difference.
Flight was half an hour delayed and gate was changed only once but not very far. Weather was good so smooth flight. So all in all was a good flight on a Sunday.
Boarding was on time and orderly. Crew was efficient. Departure as scheduled. I did not order food.
Due to very heavy rain in Jakarta which caused bad floods on the highways the captain kindly delayed the departure to allow many passengers to reach the plane with almost 2 hours delay. Otherwise the flight was smooth and uneventful. I was disappointed that given the long delays the passengers were not even treated to a free bottle of water. I had to buy a packet of salted peanuts and bottle of water since I missed lunch.
They don t offer even a glass of water need to buy a drink if you are tursty they can save money and timeby cancel the food offer for 1 hr fly both fly nobody buy and try sale on boad thinkthe we can buyduty free store
Compared with other LCC, Air Asia is a lot better
AirAsia is running a bait scam by listing a lot of flights to get as much booking as possible but ending up merging the flights to fill the seat. They will change the schedule as much as they would like. Just beware when booking their flights and if you are tight on schedule. Prepare to be disappointed.
We had an emergency seat to more comfortable and more leg room. It was good for a budget airline
Liked the food. It’s was delicious! The cleanliness was average.. we saw dried liquid stains on the seat head in front. The flight was delayed. My experience with other airlines is that the flight crew usually announces an apology for the delay . Maybe air Asia doesn’t deem it necessary.. In summary the only positive that stood out was the food.
My flight got cancelled 7 days before departure, the the replacement flight was cancelled again and I was not notified, but found out during check in.
2 hours to check-in, flight delayed 90 min, no timely information. Horrible experience
The flight was delayed for over 4 hours. No proper explanation was provided. 3h later they started to give food. After 4h they started to give cash (300k rupiahs). However overall experience wasn't the best. I'd rather arrive in time.
Lion Air aircrafts always switch off A/C while parking in the tarmac and let its boarded passenger feel "the sauna". I believe modern aircraft has what so called APU to power the AC while waiting for boatding procesd
There was a stopover and they didn't tell us we had to deplane, our ticket didn't show this stopover and there was no time for a layover, just 10 minutes to run from one plane through security to another plane with the same flight number. They don't serve even water on the plane, it was awful.
One hour Late to board. An additional hour later to arrive at our stop. Not running A/C while boarding so even the cabin crew were sweating profusely. My knees were into the next seat for the first time in my life. Cabin seemed in okay condition.
Flight was delayed by 2 hours, there was a pack of biscuits and water included as compensation. It seemed to happen a lot as some people knew it was going to be delayed..
Need to improve the availability of the food. Seems like everything sold out
Did not like that we were not informed about the 4 hour delay, crew not friendly, noone at terminals to consult with...all employees for Batrik were behind glass aftervgoing through security at the gate again. Why no agent at Gate H 10 to answer questions? And no apology. Updates would have eased anxiety. Boarding is disorderly also.
During this flight all the crew just focused on making money by selling food and drinks. There was only one washroom open. And it really smelled bad and wasn’t usable. Even to watch something onboard entertainment u have to rent headphones pathetic airline but only one with direct flight so pretty much the only option from Karachi to KL
Delayed for 3 hours, need to pay extra for drinking water.
The OD2204 KUL-LGK was delayed 40 minutes due to air-condition malfuntion, after inspection the technician give green light for the flight to go as usual but the air-condition is still not working properly, passengers complaining to the stewardess but they cannot do anything, I did tweet to @malindoair to complaint but no reply from them … hope this Batik Air is not having problem like Rayani Air and I do hope the management do respond to my complaint as well
Nasi lemak was horrible. Plain white rice, tasteless sambal, no cucumber, no kacang, no ikan bilis. And the chicken was colourless and tasteless, tasted like boiled chicken. Entertainment system didn't work at all.
2 delayed flights - hotel layover in a different country- lost baggage.
You get what you pay for. It’s functional and gets you from point A to B in good comfort. However, food options are limited and cash only, Crew is a hit and miss .. they get your attention if you reach out.
They got to the terminal late, with no one on the arriving flight, boarded us late, and left us sitting there for 2 hours before they got us off the ground. They knew they were going to be late, yet they never got an updated flight plan from their head office until long after the flight was supposed to leave. They could have cut the delay in half, of at least let us stay in the terminal. Really just horrible planning.
The worst kind of budget airline. To be honest....the plane was not that bad. Would have been good to have some food choices and some water. What was by far the worse is the passengers/customers that this airline attracts. Coughing and spluttering all over one another with no masks. Just disgusting. Pay for a better carrier and get a better class of passenger.
