Cons: "It was not acceptable and very disappointed that flight DL391 from SDQ to NY-JFK was delayed till it left at 4:40pm because there were no crew members to bring the aircraft to STO DGO the night before as it is usually done so that the aircraft sleeps over in las Americas. We were at the airport at 4:30am because the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:05am we were lucky to be able to rebook for a flight SDQ-ATL DL576 for the same day hoping to make the connection ATL-IND. Unfotunately that flight was rerouted to Charlotte due to bad weather conditions with a delay of 3 hrs before it landed in ATL thus missing our connection to INDI and had to sleep in ATL and leave the next day to IND thus missing a meeting commitment that we had in IND. We should and expect to be compensated by Delta for this."

Cons: "The flights were both operated by Delta but booked through WestJet, and the flights themselves were fine. The booking was through WestJet (found the flight on kayak which kicked me over to West Jet's site) and check in was a pain. Their code did not work for their site or Delta's, I had to FB message them both leaving and returning to ask for the correct one, and the first request took them hours to answer. I'll just book Delta next time and save myself the trouble."

Cons: "Temperature in the aircraft was extremely cold and when I asked the stewardess for a blanket one asked the other if there was a spare blanket and very bluntly answered no. Only toilet in economy class was cloughed up and was not functional therefore a very disgraceful situation, they sent me to the other toilet in 1st class area and there I notice several blankets on empty seats after I was told there weren’t any spare blankets."

Pros: "Flight was on time. Easy to transfer luggage from an international flight to a domestic flight. The crew was accommodating. It is such a short flight that there were only pretzels and water without ice served on this flight. There was no entertainment on this flight. Small, clean plane for a less that 1 hour flight."

Cons: "It may be La Guardia Airport that is the one to blame and not AA, but long story short I was on the airplane on the ground in NY for about 5 hours. We had a domino effect of things happen that caused us to be delayed and then cancelled. First a Gate change to a different terminal after boarding was suppose to begin so we had to take a shuttle over and we're still missing 50 passengers, Engine problem that required maintenance, refuel because we were in the plane on the ground waiting for so long, deplane and replane for 10 mins because of a law, on the runway and back to the gate for all these different occasions. When they finally let us off the plane after all these hours it was because of weather (although the skies were blue and the pilot was confident it wouldn't be an issue) they didn't actually cancel the flight until 5pm, my flight was suppose to take off at 9am. They were also required by law to give us free snacks Bc we hadn't eaten all day or had fresh air--these were all chips and soda...in gluten free so I had to starve. AA customer relations said they couldn't compensate because the issue that was documented in their records for my flight cancellation was because of "weather"... my flight couldn't be rescheduled until the following afternoon, making me have to cancel work 2 days in a row and pay for multiple taxis and and extra night of boarding. I will NEVER fly AA or La Guardia again."

Cons: "There was no entertainment. The airline did not offer a complimentary headphones, and failr sure the wifi was not even working. Also was not that big of a fan with the extra long layover. Was not a fan of the extra time in the holding pattern above Indianapolis, nor the extra time 150 feet from the gate after we landed."

Cons: "The flight attendants both seemed unhappy and we're not very polite. They hardly came through the cabin at all. It took a while to get anything. They mostly just stayed in the back talking to each other. The pilot didn't greet us. Just stood there when we walked in. And there was a kid screaming for most of the trip. My seat was broken and wouldn't recline. This was my first trip flying, and on the trip to Miami I flew with Delta. The service with them was tremendously better. I was really disappointed."

Comfort was good because I had paid for an upgrade which I actually thought I was paying for the international flight but found out it was actually for the Charlotte flight which was a surprise it was not very clear from the tool. So hence the Comfort was great on this flight. But the tool needs to make it much more clear as to what you are selecting the upgrade for. Food, there has got to be something else out there other than pretzels, I understand why we do not have peanuts, but a little bit more variety would be very nice. I understand there's a cost tractor, but often pretzels tend to be fairly stale. Short flights entertainment."
Pros: "I missed my flight due to LA traffic. American Airlines was very accommodating. They put me at ease and helped reach my destination. I wasn't treated like it was my fault. They totally understood and were very compassionate. Thank you."

Cons: "this was the first time a I have traveled to the US and I was stranded at the Louisville airport after the flight diverted due to bad weather. I was offered no alternative transportation to Indianapolis. I was totally lost being in a strange city without support. finally I had to take a taxi which was very expensive"
Cons: "Customer service was very poor. I had an aisle seat and one flight attendant kept hitting the back of my head and hitting my arm. At one point she rammed the beverage cart into my arm leaving a large bruise. Not once did she apologize or say excuse me. My arm was not into the aisle, part of it was just resting on the arm rest. Crew at the gate were unfriendly and surly. Walking off before answering questions when flights delayed leaving DSM for mechanical issues. My flight on the 4th was diverted due to weather and when did arrive in DFW, I checked at gate to see when I could fly out and was lied to and because of being lied to had to run through DFW uselessly. I will not be flying American again!"

I had to be transported by an old unsafe looking bus to a separate terminal and had to climb up and down emergency stairs (not handicap friendly), also I have 2 roller bags I carry on to every flight I have ever taken without issue and they charged me $25 per bag to check because it was a "snug" fit into their dimension box. Also gave no snacks and only half can refreshments, no entertainment."

HOWEVER, the plane had plenty of overhead luggage room to accommodate our luggage. We were told by the cabin staff that the gate personnel don't always check what size plane it is before requiring everyone to hand in their luggage."

Cons: "About two hours before my flight, it was canceled after previously making an airplane switch the night before after checking in online. The I received an email while I was on the way to the airport saying that the airplane that I was going to fly out on was canceled due to airplane maintenance. While I am happy they didn't fly the plane while needing maintenance, they should have planned ahead and known of the maintenance or had a backup ready to go. Obviously it must have been something they just found, but in the big picture of things. You have to pay an way to much for a flight as it is. They should have to solve their own issues to honor their part of the contract. We (as customers) can't cancel a flight with out penalties. Why shouldn't they have to do the same?"

Pros: "On the trip from Des Moines to Houston, timeliness of flight was great. The boarding went smooth and was done quickly. The crew were friendly and courteous. Overall the first half of the trip was fine."
Cons: "I was extremely disappointed in the condition of my luggage when I picked it up plane side. The wheel was broke off and all the pockets had been unzipped and it appeared they had been rummaged through. I had to drag my bag through the terminal. I spoke with 3 individuals with United who referred me onto the next and each unwilling as the previous to help. I myself am in customer service and would never treat my customers the way I was treated by the employees representing your Airline. I would go above and beyond to make the sure that the customers experience was a great one in spite of the unfotunate incident so they would return. I have never flown United before, and I will not consider your airline in the future."

Cons: "The man who was boarding us announced to the whole area that if your ticket says to see him just sit down and wait to be called because he's "getting irritated". Terrible customer service! The crew on the plane acted like they didn't want to be there. They had a ton of empty seats but announced that we can't move up or change unless we pay for it with our credit card. I understand it but it sounded really bad. Not welcoming at all. Will avoid United in the future."

Cons: "They lost my bag for my entire vacation. They found it and "rushed" it to me, but it got waylaid in SFO and would have sat there had I not called them. Then they said they would deliver it to my hotel. When it arrived 4 days later, they said I could pick it up and they would not deliver it. I was 2.5 hours away. I told them to send it home, but they didn't and when I flew home 7 days later, it was still sitting in Munich!"

Cons: "Disenchanted flight attendants. For whatever reason, it is obvious that there is unhappiness. Not flat affect, just the look of disinterest, a look that tells you I don't care. In a customer based business it is so disheartening that the very person you may have to depend on to survive is not vested in the clientele that keeps her company in business, thereby insuring future paychecks. I'd like to communicate here that it wasn't all the attendants on either flight, but enough that it was obvious to anyone who paid even casual attention. I was flying home to California, so there were two additional flights a few days before the flights home. I never had any of the same flight attendants on any of the flight. As far as my observation of the attendants, as stated above, I think that speaks volumes. I will cite an example that happened on my trip from Iowa to Denver. I need wheelchair assistance, I walk with a cane, but not able to walk any distance. I pack a light carry-on, bring my purse, jacket and cane. I was being wheeled up the passageway in a regular wheelchair, and the man pushing me stated to the on-coming crew he "would be right back to get my suitcase, couldn't take both at the same time", and added " unless one of you could roll it up?". After an embarrassing pause, a female flight attendant said "Let the flight attendant do it. Add this to the list of responsibilities that aren't really my job." I actually twisted around to look at this person, I was so stunned to hear that! She grabbed my rolling carry-on handle and the look spoke columns. I was embarrased. Thank you. Debra K. Forsythe"
Cons: "Luggage Lost on 4 Apr after I came to my destination Indianapolis. I reported my lost luggage on the same day at Airport at United airlines office. Its been 10 days and no one has followed up yet on my lost luggage. I have to call United Airlines Customer Care everyday to get a status on my report. No follow up is made on the lost luggage. They have asked to file claim which will also take 8-10 weeks to process. All these experiences has made me and my friends not to prefer United Airlines for Travel."

Pros: "Everything was great and the trip was on time perfect"
Pros: "Boarding was pretty quick and staff was friendly. I was in an emergency row so I had a little extra leg room in my middle seat. Also had wifi on this flight."
Cons: "Snacks need to be updated. I prefer the good old fashion pretzels, so maybe providing an option would be better."
Cons: "I have flown with United several times and will be avoiding this airline in the future. After notification that our flight had been delayed by 3 hours, the customer service was awful. The United representatives at the gate told us they could not rebook us nor would they be able to assist us with locating a different connecting flight. We then contacted customer service by phone and were directed to connecting flights. However the connecting flights were at an airport two hours away. After being informed that we would not be able to fly out the next day from the Des Moines airport, we. Had no other choice but to rent a car to drive to the Omaha airport. We had to rent a car because they would not accommodate us by changing our return flights to match where we flying out of. This whole experience has been awful for a trip that has been booked for more than 6 months. I plan to continue to inform the public of this horrendous experience."

Cons: "There should have been free entertainment considering the short length of the flight. There was no beverage service."
Pros: "The ground crew gave ZERO guidance. Never made announcements. Until they finally told us they found a plane and we would be boarding after safety check. Then announced 10 minutes later flight crew had timed out and flight was canceled."
Cons: "NO COMMUNICATION."
Cons: "Flight was cancelled. After waiting on hold for over an hour two separate times, I made other arrangements to get home. I still need to get a refund or voucher, but finding a time to sit on hold for over an hour is hard to do."
Cons: "I was flying out of De Moines, IA to DC with a layover in Chicago. I received an email stating that my flight was changed to 3pm. While the email stated the flight number it didn't state the destinations or the airport. It turns out the email was referring to the layover flight that I had in Chicago. I even called the number provided in the email to verify the change and instead of giving me information on my flights it gave me a status update of the flight at that particular time of the day (Which was the day before when I called and was not something I particularly cared about). This wound up being very bad for me because I slept in and missed my flight. I booked another flight for the next day but a very bad snowstorm hit the east coast and was unable to travel back to DC for 5 more days. I had to get a hotel room in Chicago and spend over $500 in expenses because of this error. United should be more specific when notifying its passengers of any changes by email. This messed up a lot of things for me and I'm very upset with how United handled this"

Pros: "No delays, we were kept informed of status' of the process and we actually arrived slightly ahead of the advertised time. There were no weather or mechanical issues so the flight went off without a hitch."
Pros: "Really great price!! Less than 200.00 round trip. No delays ant the steward was super nice."
Pros: "It was a short and direct flight. That was what I was looking for and got. The only delay was back up in Indianapolis do to fog."
Cons: "my original connecting flight was cancelled so i went to the customer service desk where I asked to be booked on a later flight with open seats, instead i was put on standby for the next flight, the standby list was already 5 people long on a flight that was already oversold and asking for people to voluteer to catch a flight via American at 3 pm, my scheduled time. I asked the attendant if that was a possibility for me and they told me i had to go back to customer service. On my way back i called and was told the only option was a 10pm flight which was way later. So i stood in line again and talked to an agent who said she just booked the 3 pm AA flight to the person who was ahead of me, which i could have been on had my first request been filled instead of standby. She put me on standby for a 450 flight. I then called again and FINALLY the agent on the phone was able to put me on a 545 flight no problem which was great. That flight then ended up delayed 2 hours due to maintenance and finding a new aircraft. overall a lot of running around when it could have been taken care of more efficiently."
