Starting January 7, all passengers five years of age or older, must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure. Travelers without a negative test will be denied to board their flight. Travelers from a country where PCR testing is unavailable will be required to report to a designated Public Health Agency of Canada quarantine facility for the duration of their mandatory 14-day quarantine. Delays in obtaining test results does not apply.
Those exempted from this requirement include children who are not five years of age or older, other exemptions includes, a crew member or a person who seeks to enter Canada only to become such a crew member, emergency service providers, technical stops – flights refueling.
Travelers are subject to health screening. Travelers showing symptoms of COVID-19 will not be allowed to board their flight. Non-medical face masks or face coverings are required for all flights to and from Canadian airports, and within airport terminals. Anyone who cannot wear a face mask for medical reasons must be in possession of a medical certificate.
Travelers are required to submit their information digitally through Canada’s ArriveCAN app before they board their flight. This includes travel and contact information, quarantine plan and COVID-19 symptom self-assessment. They must have evidence that they have submitted their details digitally.
Travelers must have a plan to quarantine for 14 days when they arrive in Canada (including a suitable place of quarantine, how to get to their destination, get groceries and access essential services and medical care). Check the Government of Canada website for more information.
Foreign nationals traveling to Canada for a compassionate reason must get authorization from the Public Health Agency of Canada. Foreign nationals traveling without an advance written approval for an exemption of a border restriction may be denied entry into Canada.
Travelers are subject to a 14-day mandatory quarantine, provide contact information, monitored themselves for symptoms and check-in within 48 hours of arrival through the ArriveCAN app
Certain persons are exempt from the mandatory quarantine requirement when entering Canada for the purposes of performing an essential job or function as identified in the Order under the Quarantine Act. Exemption will be validated for each entry into Canada.
Before traveling passengers must make their travel arrangements to transit through Canada well in advance, make flights and connections as direct as possible to limit their contact in Canada; multiple domestic connections may not be considered appropriate, make connections that are as short as possible; if their connecting flight is more than 24 hours apart they will need to quarantine (self-isolate) until their next flight.
Transiting passengers must remain in the secure transit area of a Canadian airport to complete their connection. Should they need to leave the airport or the secure transit area due to a flight cancellation or delay, they become subject to mandatory quarantine until their flight departs, comply with any guidelines provided by the Airport Authority and follow all flight requirements, follow the provincial and territorial restrictions, depending where they are transiting through.

Got on the hotel’s shuttle bus and the driver announced that HoJo was full and all voucher holders would go to Rodeway Inn but those without vouchers would go to HoJo....huh!?? Called HoJo and the same person I’d spoken to 20 mins prior said it was correct, that Rodeway was a sister property. The Rodeway Inn Metro Airport is pretty disgusting. This is my opinion after coming from remote Mexico and extensive travel in Africa. It should be torn down. Delta/HoJo should not send customers there."

I tried many times to call CSA LA office using toll free and regular number, but could never speak to a human. Last November 7 I missed my flight home due to the Thai King's motorcade causing the road I was on to be closed for more one hour. I arrived at the CNXairport nearly one hour before the scheduled departure time, only to find CSA check in counters already closed. CSA Bangkok made me pay for a one way ticket home on Nov 8 even though all 3 flights were not full. I arrived well I'm advance and checked in. CSA began boarding 30 minutes before the time shown on my boarding pass and closed the aircraft doors shortly aftethe boarding time listed. No wonder I missed my Nov 7 flight! I wrote CSA LA a letter including the receipt for the one way ticket and requested a refund or at least a reply or home call. I never received a reply. I have flown CSA/Delta from Detroit, MI to Chiang Mai, Thailand 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years. It seems they don't care about customer loyalty. In the future CSA will not be my first choice and I will pay somewhat more to fly another airline."

Cons: "My flight from Detroit to Denver was suppose to land at 1:15 ish and I had an interview to make at 3:30 thinking that I would have plenty of time to grab my bags and and get a cab to greenwood which is where my interview was. The flight was delays almost 3 hours and I was not able to make my interview which was the whole reason I flew to Denver in the first place. I understand that things happen but now Im out of a possible job that I was interviewing for and I am also out the $250 that I spent on the flight. The flight was delayed because they didn't have a crew to fly the plane which blindside is always 20/20 however it seems like pretty poor planning."

The attendant kindly asked the passenger that was sitting next to P1 to move to the seat in that row so that P1 had extra space. Cons: "The desk attendant tried to bump me off the flight and after a long argument and vociferous complaints on my end I was given a seat on the flight which I had already paid for. After getting a seat for the first leg of the flight I realized I had been put on standbye for the second leg of the flight which meant I would likely get stuck in Panama city. I went back to the desk and after another long argument I was given a seat. I was offered no compensation and they acted like they were doing me a favor by giving me a seat on the flight. When I sat down and asked the girl next to me how her day was going she told me she had had the same expernece as me but becuase she had complained less she had been bumped off of both her flights that she had purchased 6 months in advance without an explanation. Later on the flight from Panama city to san francisco which is a 7 hour flight, Copa airlines has security set up so that you cannot bring any liquids (even water you buy at the airport). This meant the passengers had a 7 hour flight without water. The crewd came through the cabin 2 maybe 3 times with drinks but this is not nearly sufficient for a 7 hour flight if you cant bring your own water..."

Cons: "In flight 1, from São Paulo to Mexico City, my husband and I were separated. It was suggested by the stewardess for him to move to another seat 20 rows away due to his size. Instead of separating two people, why not ask the single person if she would rather have more room. But the steward said only one of us could move, me or my husband. The reason he was moved was that there were two empty seats, so he could sit comfortably; however, no one told the woman sitting in the three seat aisle that he would be sitting there. So she basically took over her seat and the neighbouring one. The crew should have been the one to inform her the reason for his move there. It was a horrible and unnecessary experience. Because of my husband's size, I am needed to help him with his tray and I had his medication."

I will NEVER fly American Airlines again. The airplane from Dallas to Tampa was ancient, a little scary to even think it was still in the air. The air conditioning was minimal I could hear other passengers complaining it was extremely uncomfortable."

I was supposed to get to my destination around 10 in the morning, instead I arrived around one in the morning the next day. All I got from Air Canada for this trouble was a $10 meal voucher for airport restaurants that cost $25 and were closed during my stay."

I was able to get a seat but not the seat I would have chosen (I'm six foot, I can't sit by the window). Since it was so crowded, I couldn't stretch my legs or use the loo. Finally I PAID for the seat I was bumped from; no one can tell me when I'll get reimbursed."
