They put my husband and I in an exit row and my daughter at the back of the plane with strangers. I was not comfortable with strangers being responsible for my child. I assumed they would seat children with at least one parent. We did ask to move at the gate and the accommodated us with the last row on the plane. No recline, no window, and right next to the bathrooms. We took it to be with our kid but this policy needs to be revised. Kids should always be seated with the adult responsible for them... who knows what kind of person might end up next to my child. Not to mention if she had needed something is the stranger gonna take care of it? It’s just a bad practice imo."

This was greatly appreciated, especially after 5 days of drinking and partying. My buddies and I spent two and a half days in Las Vegas for a bachelor party followed by two days in the LA area for a wedding (yes we did it Hangover style) :) Thank you Delta!"

My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline."

There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

Cons: "This flight was on Canadian Air under the auspices of United. I was not allowed into the United Club lounge despite the fact that I had business class ticket. I was informed that a business class ticket isn't sufficient for using the lounge when flying domestic. It is only good when flying international. They call that customer service. I generally avoid domestic airlines because of the customer service. The flight attendants were not happy to serve you. It's a small flight but they didn't even offer a snack -- you had to ask for it. And then they brought over a small basket with nuts, chips, candy bars, and a muffin. I took a muffin and it stuck to the roof of my mouth -- very poor quality. When I asked for a snack the flight attendant replied cocktail or soft drink never saying whether or not a snack was available.. She said this a couple of times before I could repeat that I wanted a snack to which she replied you want something to drink with that. I've been on many short flights in Asia and they will deliver a full meal and you don't have to ask for it. There was no entertainment but United did send an email explaining how I could purchase entertainment to play on my own device."

We therefore had to take a shuttle to Reagan international Airport, fly on a different airline to Hartford Connecticut, rent a car and drive 2 hours to finally reach our destination in Albany."

Why would I? There are many other options that take customer service more seriously. I would love to speak to someone higher up in this organization. But, im sure that will never happen."

My neighbor did not check his and took up more than half of my leg room. He was NOT friendly and I was not willing to anger him by complaining. But he should not have been allowed to bring it on board. This was a United flight, not Lufthansa."
Cons: "The flight was delayed by over 4 hours, there was no clarity on what was going on. They made us change aircrafts, the ground staff was mean at best. In spite of the 4 hour wait they didn't even bother serving food or made any announcement to handle passenger anxiety and concerns. Delays are sometimes unavoidable and I have had experiences in the past but none that was handled this unprofessionally"

Pros: "Pilot was excellent, didn't even feel the wheels touch down at RDU. It was a turbulent flight with thunderstorms (barely too bumpy for drink service) but Captain made it as smooth as possible and also kept us well informed what to expect. Plane was also on time, though many flights that day were late."

Cons: "It was a complete cluster as if no one knew what was going on. Once we were finally able to board we sat on the plane for an additional 30 minutes or so because the air conditioning went out on the plan and we all had to sit there in the scalding heat while they fixed it."

Cons: "Plane was freezing cold. Even with numerous empty seats I was assigned a seat in the last row next to the laboratory and not permitted to change. Flight attendant had a poor attitude and was generally not helpful."
Cons: "My husband, sister, brother-in-law and myself flew into STL. We thought we had booked the same flight but when we got there found out our departure flight was different. We asked about moving them to our floght but it was over booked so we asked if we could move to there flight. They had 15 open seats. They told us no. There would be a charge of 500 dollars if we wanted to change. We decided to just fly out first and meet them there. We stood by the counter to speak about meeting. As we did we could hear them telling the next couple that they would have to move to the later flight. It was a huge problem for them as they would miss there connection. We then offered again to take the later flight so they could take our place on the over booked flight and make there connection. They where unwilling. Then we get on the flight and the plane was nasty and dirty. We put out tray table down and there was drink and dirt all over it. When asked if they could be cleaned we got an attitude. They never came back to do it. Luckily I had a wet wipe to do it. The plan smelled like urine. Same was true for our return flight. The plane was very old and not taken care of. This is not the first problem is we have had with United. We will not be flying with them any longer."

The plane sat on the tarmac in Denver for 45 minutes after landing while our connecting flight took off. The "Customer Service" desk was rude and completely unhelpful, as was the supervisor."

Cons: "Poor customer service and bag policy, which was NOT posted prior to my purchase. The seats were akin to being on a bus..., fixed in place, the definition of pain, unless you are gifted with adipose in that geographic region. A terrible flying experience—never again."

Cons: "pay for tea-never!!!! I got hot water instead- next time I'll bring a tea bag..No other airline has asked me to remain thirsty for a flight of 4 hours. Add getting on and off the plane and to the gates and baggage claim and you are without anything to drink for 6 hours or more.... Pay for water is above and beyond. Some people arrive late and literally have to run to their plane. Hydration is a huge factor in maintaining a good outlook, being able to think clearly, and maintaining ones health-avoiding blood clots etc. . For safety reasons, please offer water! This should be poured and not in individual plastic bottles which are dangerous and polluting."

Cons: "I purchased the "perks" upgrade and then when I tried to put my jacket in the overhead storage the attendant told me I couldn't do that and that I had to hold it for the flight... never mind the overhead storage wasn't full. That's what an additional $58 gets you. Then the pilot didn't want to fly the plane because the soap dispenser wasn't functional in the forward lavatory. Seriously! We sat on the plane 35 minutes while he waited for an out of order decal for the lavatory door. Dumbest flight crew I ever encountered. I'm going back to United."
Cons: "From the get go this flight was terrible. Frontier at DCA doesn't open their ticketing counter until 2 hours before the flight leaves - this means that even though there were 15 people in line, the worker just walked away and left an empty desk after she finished helping the flight before us. The flight attendants were unhelpful and condescending; a man complained because something from the overhead bin was dripping on his head and he received one cocktail napkin in response. They made you pay for sodas (despite me taking this exact flight from DEN to DCA 7 days earlier and getting sodas for free) and overall it was a disappointing experience. I sincerely hope Frontier gets their act together soon, they've become a disappointment of an airline."

I carried the bag myself, lifted it myself, got it down myself...I shouldn't owe anyone $80 for a round trip flight! What a racket!! AND, I was supposed to be able to pay $35 if I checked in early and online, and, NOPE, charged the full $40. It's ridiculous!"
Pros: "I had low expectations since Frontier's switch to low budget. But after accepting the inevitable add-on costs for carry on, seat reservations etc, I found the flight comfortable and efficient. Only gripe is that the seat did not decline, which I assume helps them cram more seats into the cabin."

Cons: "Plane arrived late. We were told that we could make up time in the air by flight crew before we took off. Then were rerouted and the flight actually took 45 min longer than we were told. When we landed, there was no gate for us so we sat on the runway for 10 minutes. We were told where our luggage would arrive. After it did not show up, one lady happened to see her bag on a different carousel. We were never told of the change."

They did nothing to assist me and finally after 40 minutes an airport employee that witnessed this borrowed a wheelchair from Delta and got me to my flight.
