Pros: Consistent SAS quality
Cons: Drinks expensive
Pros: Consistent SAS quality
Cons: Drinks expensive
Cons: Terrible to have to pay 70 Euros when you are an elite gold status member. And no mention of this during booking process and checkin unless you dig in deep via links. Not used to this with other airline partners and likely last time I am flying SAS
Cons: Newer movies
Cons: The food especially the second meal or snack.
Cons: More free meal choices
Pros: The attendants were constantly providing services to the passengers.
Cons: Boarding and boarding pass was horrible. 30 min before boarding, there was no one at the SAS area.
Pros: Too many crying babies!
Cons: Plane was changed to a different plane and caused lots of confusion. Boarding process was chaos, loaded all passengers in a room too small with many standing and getting too hot.
Pros: The crew was very helpful and went out of their way to make sure the passengers were well taken care of.
Cons: Have more books available for passengers who want to read.
Pros: Planes are newish and comfortable. Decent amount of room in economy. Very good entertainment system with a not of great Nordic content (Swedish, Danish and Norwegian movies) Food was pretty good for an airplane. The service is excellent. I slept through the meal service, but they still made it a point to get me a meal when I woke up. Old fashioned tea and coffee service, with a steward going up and down the aisles with proper tea and coffee pots. Very professional, a high end feel to everything.
Cons: Got asked to leave my seat in row 3 for one further back because I couldnt pull up my ticket mid flight to show it was my seat. Their system had me in another row so I missed out on the extra service offered to that row.
Cons: My flight was cancelled and no one notified me! Instead, FlyUs.com placed me on a different SAS flight that had a 15 minute layover in Copenhagen. Needless to say, I would have missed the flight from Copenhagen. I realized the issue the day-of, spent hours on the phone trying to book a different flight through the customer services at FlyUs.com (stupid company!), and was finally rebooked by SAS on a different airline. When I called SAS directly, they immediately took care of the situation and handled it well, but I wasted an entire day dealing with FlyUs.com, waiting on confirmation for a flight that I was never going to receive. The whole experience was awful.
Cons: Thankfully flight was a bit late since many from the previous flight needed to connect to this flight.
Pros: On time.
Cons: The cabin crew was detached, and curt.
Cons: No choice in main course. Only one option Long time since wine or beer is not offered free on a “major” airline. The entertainment was interrupted a couple of times with adds. Seats are tight and space more in line with a discount airline.
Pros: Crew were very pleasant. Flight was smooth, even though did not leave on time & therefore arrived later.
Cons: More selection of food, more variety of sandwiches and bread used.
Pros: The food.
Cons: The seat are so narrow
Cons: Internet page for buying excess baggage was difficult to understand.
Cons: I would like more checked baggage allowance.
Cons: Tried to call sas , no phone answered after 730 in Copenhagen, forced to buy my own ticket to leave early am as their incompetent sas transfer desk couldn’t find me a flight in am yet I was able on kayak.com. They refused to pay for it.
Pros: Quick flight and pleasant service. Seats were also comfortable
Cons: Walking out to the plane the markings weren’t great.
Pros: Excellent staff!
Cons: All airplanes are 2 Noisy. (Of course this is not the fault of SAS). I use noise canceling headphones that helps a lot. EBut the background noise level always strikes me as too much!
Pros: We traveled with our 11 month old and the crew was super helpful. It was an 8.5hr flight, we got a middle seat to give him space to play and the staff had a lot of fun engaging with him. They even gave him a couple of toys to play with. Food was just ok, but better than most airline meals I've had. We flew Premium Economy which was a comfortable experience as well.
Cons: Checking in took too long, but that's more due to the new US-bound flight restrictions and process that's supporting that.
Pros: Food, crew, overall comfort, movies
Cons: The plane was quite warm. We definitely could have used more water as well.
Pros: Food was very good on international flight. All personnel was extremely polite and courteous. Great movie selection. Everyone was greeted with headphones, a bottle of water, pillow and blanket
Cons: Nothing not to like
Pros: I'm surprised this is called a budget airline (or am I mistaken?!). Anyway, everything was great. The entertainment options were limited compared to Turkish, Emirates, Lufthansa or Qatar, but enough for a 7 hour flight and then some. Also, I liked that there was a bottle of water on each seat for people to hydrate. Very important, and I haven't seen any other airline do it.
Cons: Nothing stands out really. I'm likely going to fly them again.
Pros: Seats are more comfortable than those of many other airlines.
Cons: Normally, I am not picky regarding airline food. In SAS's economy or "Go" class, there is no choice of food. I can think of plenty of dishes that would be appealing to many people. Yet the meal that was served, beef stew, posed a problem as I don't eat red meet. Since many people also do not eat beef due to religious beliefs, I am appalled by SAS's decision to only serve this dish to its economy class passengers. As I ordered my ticket through Kayak, I didn't have the option to request a special diet, nor did I think to do so as airlines generally do not serve serve a beef dish as their one and only.
Pros: My Plus ticket brought me an excellent cold lunch despite the shortness of the flying time (only 1:10). The seats need more recline!
Cons: The flight was cancelled.
Pros: Crew were good. Plane new and clean.
Cons: I think the only free drinks are tea and coffee.
Pros: This wasn't a very long flight and I didn't eat or drink anything so there isn't really that much to say. But I can say that nothing was a problem at all
Cons: There were no problems
Pros: Smoothest landing I've ever experienced.
Cons: I missed the refreshments, if any were served at all. Granted I was tired and probably dosed off during that part of the flight.
Pros: Crew very nice. More leg room in front of seats then most planes.. Plane on time .
Cons: Not many movie choices, Food was just ok. Do not put tomatoes on sandwiches ahead of time, it makes the bread wet and soggy.
Pros: This was a direct Copenhagen to Boston flight run by SAS for Privatair. It was a small aircraft with only 70 total seats. That being said, the seats were comfortable, the service was wonderful, and the flight was smooth.
Cons: Inflight entertainment consisted of an iPad with very limited options. Only one non-alcoholic drink included with dinner, and purchase price of wine was the highest I have ever seen on a flight.
Pros: Boarding was easy, I'm a Star Alliance Gold member so was able to get on board first. There were significant delays leaving Dulles and our connection was tight, but SAS held the flight so I give them props for that.
Cons: The crew was grumpy and unhelpful, but I can usually overlook that. What really got me was this: YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR BEER & WINE ON THIS INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT! Never in my 25 years of international travel have I seen this from a mainstream carrier. For this fact alone, I will never fly this airline again. You also have to pay to pick your seats in advance.
Pros: Movies were good.
Cons: The quality was not worth the price. I could've taken another airline for cheaper and got better service
Pros: Everything went smoothly. Timely boarding in a very efficient and comfortable process. Really great food and accomodating staffing
Pros: This flight was also one of the best I have taken. I enjoyed it very much.
Cons: It was a little upsetting to see and hear one of the crew members be a little nasty with my sister when he asked her about the meal. She misunderstood and asked for chicken andvhe was quite nasty when he corrected her and gave her the two options.
Pros: Smooth flight, friendly crew, food was excellent.
Cons: Seats very cramped
Cons: Although it was entirely SAS's fault that I missed my connection in CPH, they refused to reroute me on another carrier. They routed me on another SAS flight to ORD, and from there back to BOS. Hence my arrival was delayed from 3.20 PM to 12.130 AM after midnight.
Cons: Same as above
Pros: The thoughtfulness and competency of the personnel. I needed wheelchair assistance and found that every was very attentive to my needs and very competent, especially the ones assigned to get me from place to place. Even in Rome, where we had to deplane on the tarmac, I had a young woman and a young man to assist me and they helped me in every way possible.
Cons: I needed a gluten free meal and found it rather dry and unappetizing.
Pros: Crew was very friendly, food was amazing. SAS plus is the way to go. Bigger seats, very comfortable for a ten hour flight.
Pros: A bottle of water along with the standard pillow and blanket at each seat. Never had a long line for the bathroom (dumb luck?)
Cons: 90 min waiting in the plane withou ac in IAD 4 hs delay in Copenhagen airport. I missed flight back from Athens because a ferry delay from Santorini despite calling SAS being updated of my delay. When I arrived to Athens airport, SAS staff left and KAYAK was not supportive. My tickets were cancelled from Athens to IAD.
Cons: I wasn't able to take this flight due to my first leg being cancelled. However, I did end up being placed on the SAS flight to Stockholm from Chicago, which was an overall nice flight. The only thing I didn't like was the timing of the flight. Because my starting point was from somewhere other than Chicago, this made for a very long and tiring trip. I wouldn't recommend this flight for people flying from places other than Chicago.
Cons: Route not following great circle, takes too long for CPH-BOS, should be 6.5 hours.
Pros: Easy upgrade to business
Cons: Breakfast. A bit strange to have cold salad with cous cous in the morning but perhaps it was meant as a combo lunch
Cons: instead of cophenhagen to boston, i was re-routed copenhagen to gothenburg to munich to frankfurt to boston.... the cancelled flight was on july 6 2016; i arrived home more than 24 hours behind plan i spent at least 5-6 hours in lines, went thru security 4 times.....
Pros: Best flight in a long time - comfortable seats, good food and service, good entertainment.
Cons: Can’t think of anything
Pros: On time, as expected, no delays
Cons: USB chargers and more modern entertainment systems
Cons: Seat could have been a little more comfortable, but overall it was fine.
Pros: Crew was very friendly and boarding went smoothly and ontime.
Cons: Seats are very close together. Young child behind me kicked the seat most of the way. Bags took a very long time to come out.
Cons: There was a lot of turbulence which the crew could not do much about. Apart from that a good experience
Pros: The entertainment system has been upgraded on planes I've flown on recently and is very good. Food is normal airline blah, no better no worse.
Cons: The crew are very fussy. Can't wear headphone on takeoff and landing whereas other airlines allow, They charge for alcohol so the drink service takes twice as long while they collect money/credit cards. Constant, constant, constant announcements. Impossible to watch a movie without some interruption. No, I don't care who is chief flight attendant in business class. Towards the end of the flight, they subject you to a charity video. You have to listen/watch. The inflight entertainment is interrupted (again) for this.
Cons: I went to the restroom in the back, and one of the flight attendants was sitting in her jump seat, with head phone on and appeared to be sleeping or resting with eyes closed. Her sprawling legs were blocking the aisle, therefore I could not get to the restroom on the other aisle that was the only one open at that time This is unacceptable. Also PA is way too loud.
Cons: Even though all correspondence told me I could check in 24 hours ahead and choose a seat, after repeatedly trying, I gave up. I even called and was told I could do it, but I couldn’t. Because of that, I got a crappy seat. Another man and I stood outside of a bathroom for 15 minutes waiting for someone to come out, and we finally discovered that a flight attendant had locked it from the outside because of turbulence and forgot to open it. My checked bag was tagged with the priority sticker. I had a tight connection to catch a bus once I got to Boston. My bag came out of the carousel exactly 15 minutes after the first bag came out. That’s priority???
Cons: Before we boarded this plane we arrived at Aer Lingus for a 2 hour layover. The airport only had a snack bar open and an express bar with only drinks. There was cafes upstairs but that was closed off to hundreds of people with a layover between flights. When asked they said it was closed off by escalater and elevator to all of us. They blocked the escalator with a giant gate sign. People waited in line at a snack for over 20 mins for a bite to eat that was express food or a choice of 5 sandwiches that came hot that actually sucked not worth the money at all. People were pissed! I was looking forward to a nice meal for my layover but that definitely did not happen! They only came around once with drinks on a 6 hour flight, then twice for coffe and tea. When I asked for a sprite they said they ran out of things completely
Pros: great on board staff great onground staff in Dublin!
Cons: almost 2 hours waiting in line to be checked in (unable to check in online) due to lack of staff...only 2 check in counters open.
Pros: sound quality was very poor, I could barely understand what was said in movies.
Pros: I like the options of entertainment throughout the flight to help keep your mind off of how long we're trapped in a metal tube 40,000' in the air.
Cons: It's a little discouraging to see the flight attendants asleep in the back of the plane. The flight was 7 hours in the daylight. I know that crews can't be flown for more than 8 hours in a day, so it shouldn't be too much to ask the attendants to stay awake during a 7 hour flight.
Cons: the plane was late
Pros: Flight was incredibly smooth and on time.
Cons: I had selected an emergency aisle seat because additional legroom was offered in those seats, however, the seat was so narrow I couldn't sit there. Moved to a regular seat instead. Food was really mediocre compared to food I've had on other airlines.
Pros: Plane was clean.
Cons: They seemed to be a bit stingy on the beverages - I was pretty dehydrated so asked for another can of soda or glass of still water and never received it. Crew was not particularly friendly. I had flown British Air on the way over to Europe and that crew seemed genuinely more friendly. The complimentary headphones were terrible. I almost gave up on watching a movie until I pulled out my iPhone headphones and realized that I could finally hear the dialogue over the roar of the plane.
Pros: Pleasant crew and good food/snack service almost forgotten as I stood at the baggage carousel for 40 minutes.
Cons: Baggage claim very frustrating (40 minutes) particularly after 12 hours of airports and airplanes. Messed up our ground transportation plans for no apparent reason. Totally unexplained!
Pros: Direct flight and preclearance completed in Dublin
Cons: Not a great seat, back middle; poor food
Cons: not much as far as movie/tv selection goes; very little leg room and uncomfortable seats
Pros: The destination, the time and direct flight.
Cons: When I got to check in at the airport I found out I had to pay $100 per bag. This was never told to me when booking. I was also made aware that if I had booked my bag when I checked in on line each bag would have been 75$ . Of course I hadn't checked in on line and this was a huge surprise.
Cons: my ticket being canceled without me knowing
Cons: There was no food or entertainment provided
Pros: Pre-check customs in Dublin is nice, flight left on-time, food was reasonably good, arrived early.
Cons: Seat space is tight as is usual with most airlines - people aren't getting smaller.
Pros: clearing customs in Dublin rather than US was nice. Since we chose the flight based on price, It's reasonable to expect some corner cutting.
Cons: Aer Lingus operated the flight. Haphazzard ticketing/check-in procedure would have been stressful if it wasn't clear that everyone else on the plane was there in line too. Both legs of our trip with Aer Lingus were on older planes, that had obviously flown a lot of miles. Sound on my seat console on this flight was so bad that it was unusable.
Pros: Customer service on flight back to Boston outstanding. Flight attendant with sense of humor, got me vegetarian meal even when I forgot to pre-order.
Cons: Touch screen technology horrible - practically have to punch seat back numerous times to get response (poor person in front of me!). Wasn't just mine either - everyone had this issue. Movie selection tepid. Can't use your own headset & get stereo sound because of their 2-prong system. Whole setup really bad. On overnight flight from Boston to Dublin, could barely sleep because flight crew kept interrupting with announcements about collecting trash.
Pros: Food service was good though beverage service somewhat confusing . The printed material was not available in the seat pocket.
Cons: Isle seat in row 43 with little foot room due to a metal box bolted to the floor was not OK for a 6+ hour flight. General boarding of all rows seemed chaotic and slow as opposed to loading by higher rows first. This was my second transatlantic flight with Aer Lingus - booked 6 months in advance- where I was assigned a seat in a row in the back, row 43 and row 46 - definitely not my preference for seating.
Pros: Check in in Dusseldorf was easy, bit they made up for it in Dublin!! In Dublin the check in and information desk of air lingus were awuful. Full of attitude and absolutely no knowledge.
Cons: Air Lingus is awful! It had 1:20 hours delay that resulted in missing the second flight.
Pros: What is there not to like: The crew are courteous and caring, the planes are clean and the price is right!
Cons: The check-in in Duesseldorf was subcontracted and staffed by an uninformed agent which led to a lot of confusion and inconvenience in Dublin. Someone like that does not reflect well on Aer Lingus which I definitely recommend otherwise!
Cons: The map feature wasn't working on the flight and the sound quality for media was very poor and sporadic
Pros: Very friendly and cheerful staff.
Cons: Boarding was chaotic; there was little to no crowd management. Row numbers were called to board the plane before the staff even seemed ready to receive them. There was no vegetarian meal option, and my in-flight entertainment completely ceased functioning less than halfway through the flight.
Pros: We had an adequate amount of room and were treated as valued customers. Enough said!
Pros: Much better than the Rome-Dublin leg. A modern plane with entertainment. A boarding process with effective signage and flowing lines. An absolutely top-rate cabin crew. Actually enjoyable food.
Cons: Really was well done: systems seem to be functioning smoothly and feedback processes are working. One thing I did note was that the waste seemed to be collected without sorting for recycling. Considering you all are on the Emerald (green) Isle, you could take up the mantle of being the "most ecological" airline in the world. It would only take a small amount of messaging.
Cons: Are Lingus is non responsive to their customers. When I called them about their change in my schedule, I was on hold for 45 minutes before someone answered the call. I explained my situation that because they changed my flight that I would now have to get a hotel, stay overnight and fly out the next day. They said there was nothing they could do and refused to pay for the hotel or meals that would be incurred as a result of their changing my flight. This was after I explained that I had originally paid more for the tickets on their airline so I would NOT have a long layover. Worst customer service I have ever encountered.
Cons: My seat was changed and I was in the middle seat, not the window seat I had selected weeks earlier. My brother and his daughter had their seats changed, too, and they were in middle seats 14 rows apart, so she flew by herself on an international flight all by hersel! My headphones wouldn't work correctly in the double jack, only getting one side. Why change the plugs? The flight attendant said that they wouldn't work and that she would get me a headset. Two hours into the flight I finally got a headset. The male flight attendant was great, but unfortunately we were dealing with others that totally ignored my two small requests for the entire 6 hour flight. Our flight to Dublin was awesome, but this flight back was very very disappointing!! Changed my while feeling about Aer Lingus
Pros: Nice, new clean aircraft, excellent meal service, very very friendly crew, top notch the minute we got on plane
Cons: Two major problems, when we went to check in, we stood in line and were very rudely told by some German British Airways attendent that we couldn't check in with them and that we needed to go to Aer Lingus, this even though our reservations were through British Airways. Second, despite my efforts over a few months to make seat reservations, my daughter and i were separated. Aer Lingus reps in rome fixed that and I was very, very grateful for that, but when we got to the Dublin/Boston leg of our flight, they couldn't or wouldn 't fix the seating issue. On board the plane though, the flight attendents arranged for my daughter and I to sit together. Really upset me that I didn't know until the very last minute, on the plane, whether I was going to be able to sit next to my child.
Cons: unable to contact Aer Lingus with question dealing with clearing customs once we land in the U. S. we were on hold for over an hour
Pros: The entertainment choices were good.
Cons: The meal served was disgusting and the sound on the cheap headphones was so poor it made them unusable.
Pros: Lovely fight attendants and good food!
Cons: Seats are too small -- and I am not a big person, only 5'5" and 125 lbs. But too hard to sleep or stay in that tiny space for 6 hours.
Pros: Crew very pleasant
Cons: Seat by door very uncomfortable
Pros: Aer Lingus' international flights have a while's way to go before it can rival that of Singapore Airlines (in terms of food & comfort), but overall it was good for the price. It was spacious enough for my 12" MacBook to be used, but as is the case with all flights, it gets crammed when the front passenger reclines.
Pros: Seating was comfortable with a head rest. Large screens for entertainment Food was edible offer a good amount of drinks Staff was friendly
Cons: Luggage did not make connecting flight. Difficult process to book seats because it was not booked directly through aer lingus. No online seat booking.
Pros: No delays!
Cons: Absolutely no leg room. Was uncomfortable for the whole duration. Person behind me was not happy that I reclined my seat and was vocal about it while the person in front of me was completely reclined and I'm a small person. Heck, I paid for the the seat and should be able to move my seat back without any issues. Still very smuched. Extra leg room shouldn't be a premium.
Pros: Temperature was good. Fortunately the seat next to me was empty which always makes it more comfortable if only the person in front of me did not move her seat back - that makes it difficult to get up. Movie choices were good and the individual screen was good for watching and could be paused.
Cons: International flights usually include wine with their meal but this would have been an overpriced purchase. The selection of food was marginal and too spicy, only the dessert was edible. Not the quality of the last trip on aer Lingus. There was a second snack sandwich although soggy and unappealing with a minimal slice of chicken.
Pros: Not much!
Cons: Monitors for flight data and movies kept freezing up. Questions about seating were not answered correctly when getting boarding passes. Asking for donations for UNICEF on board. Paying for alcohol drinks, usually international flights you don't. Food was really bad. Pre declaration went on forever and couldn't get a gate number. The list could go on and on. We travel a lot, first and last time with this company. Oh and TSA people had an attitude problem. Never experienced this before.
Cons: No online check in option and only one person working the counter to collect baggage and to check people in. The line was long and we almost missed or connecting flight.
Pros: USB connection at each seat. multiple movies available. food service.
Cons: need more leg room!!
Pros: Great movie selection. Nice pillows. Decent food.
Cons: For some unknown reason, I wasn't able to select my seat upon booking my flight. Perhaps this is because I booked through Kayak instead of directly on the Aer Lingus website. Because I was traveling with a friend, I wanted to choose a seat next to him. I could not figure out how to select a seat. The choice was not available through Kayak or through Aer Lingus. I e-mailed two Aer Lingus addresses, one kayak/vayama customer service address, tweeted at Aer Lingus and even sent them a facebook message. When I called Aer Lingus, I had to wait on hold for an HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES before anyone answered the phone. They said that I couldn't pre-choose my seat and that I had to select it at the airport. Well, when I got to the airport, the Aer Lingus staff said that wasn't true and that the only seat left was in the very back of the plane. Far away from my friend. What a waste of time. This airline was extremely unorganized. Choosing a seat seems to be a rather simple thing to do on every other airline.
Pros: Airline does great job of check in-lots of assistance available to move you quickly through airport.
Cons: Some of the flight attendants were rude to other passengers-embarrassing to listen to. Food mediocre, have to pay for drinks on transatlantic flights. Slow to pick up food trays. Boarding a bit chaotic. Definitely feels like a budget airline but compared to U.S. Budget carriers, they could use some work on customer service.
Pros: Bargain airline with bargain experience. Not necessarily a bad flight, but nothing that great. The crew was very nice though.
Cons: I was forced to check a bag that was 1kg too heavy on 1 out of 4 total aer lingus planes I was on. If it worked for 3 planes it's not going to cause an issue.
Pros: We arrived on time, and the stewardesses were relatively friendly
Cons: The seats were quite tight, one had to pay for soft drinks, and there was no entertainment
Pros: The seats were roomy, the movie and tv selections were great, and meal service was spaced out nicely during the flight.
Cons: The boarding process needs to be a bit more streamlined. The system they have now is quite chaotic. Board the back of the plane first instead of the first 1-16 rows and THEN the back. It was all quite frustrating.
Pros: The crew is nice
Cons: No respect of distancing the seats ; all the seats were occupied. No wifi
Pros: Clean plane , good crew ,
Cons: they didn't load my baggage from flight 1 to 2
Pros: I like the crew and their service, the food was amazing speacially the vanilla cheese cake desert was on point, loved it. I loved the “my flight “interaction on the screen and the different view of the plane, cockpit view, left, right etc.. amazing feature.
Cons: The seat could have been much better as far as reclining and space. Overall I loved the flight.
Cons: Flight was delayed for 4+ hours
Pros: More leg room
Pros: Crew were very good.
Cons: No vegan food available.
Cons: This was one of the worst flights I’ve been on. Both planes were downright filthy. The flight from Dallas to Barcelona had several broken toilets. Flight from Paris to Barcelona boarded and once everyone was on board, they told us that we would be sitting there for 2 hours before leaving.
Pros: Nothing !! Such a bullshit flight ever !!!
Cons: No tv fo 14 hr long flight !! Flight delayed for 1 he !! No proper arranged to board .. it was kiosk!! Food quality was worse. No space to seat !! Can’t sleep .. no leg space !! Worst fight till the date !!!
Pros: The crew ask some of us to help seating a family group together. No objection. Then they went out of their way to make the trip more enjoyable for us... even offering a drink of Champagne wine (the true one, not some substitute)... Departed almost on time, arrived a few minutes early...
Pros: Red wine was excellent
Cons: Bright lights on throughout flight, would have been nice to dim lights for late night flight so passengers could rest
Cons: Excelente aerolínea
Pros: great food, entertainment and seat comfort
Cons: Not really an Air France flight, AF not interested in taking care of their frequent fliers.
Pros: Fantastic Crew!
Cons: Seats are comfortable but tight.
Pros: Crew was friendly and attentive but hard to understand
Cons: Airport experience was inefficient. Long unattractive walk, boarding was tedious: the automatic check-in was not helpful and required so many more staff. Random security check was redundant and chaotic.
Pros: Crew was nice movie selection was good.
Cons: Plane was late which caused a 5 hour layover in Paris CDG. Food not very good. Entertainment system clumsy to operate.
Cons: they lost our luggage very inconvenient
Cons: Air France delayed our JFK to CDG flight. That caused us to miss our connection flight afterwards from CDG to MUC. We got a later flight luckily but one of our bags got lost and is still currently lost!!!
Cons: Flying back to US, passsengers get charged for their luggage. Which this is not informed to us, neither On our email nor when we were checking ( for free) in Us
Pros: Flight crew, pilot, food and entertainment options were great
Cons: Baggage took a while to reach baggage claim but maybe a bit impatient after a long day
Cons: Missed flight due to lack of direction, last minute gate change and they shut door in our face after telling us they were holding plane
Pros: Boarding staff helpful with Disabilities; food services quick and pleasant; interior cabin temps appropriate.
Cons: Why is boarding so prolonged? 1-Small children and elders cannot stand for 20/30 minutes 2-Why are various sections (particularly Economy), no longer boarded by rows. and from rear first...so people don’t clog aisles, step over others, injure or be injured by heavy overhead moves?
Pros: The food, beverages and choices of movies, entertainment There was a medical emergency that caused the flight to land in Canada. This was handled very professionally - I hope the passenger ended up getting the care needed and is doing well.
Pros: Good seat width Great movie selection Great food and drinks Nice and large A380
Cons: The interface of the screens seemed old Need to anticipate the needs of the customer better For example, they brought me my special meal first, but I had to wait 30 minutes later to get a drink to accompany it. The food was getting old. Did not see any newspaper/periodical selection. That would have been nice.
Pros: Boarding for BUsiness class was fine. Seating was cramped.
Cons: As I said in my rating, seating was cramped. Food was mediocre. Crew was pleasant.
Cons: Crew not only lacked sensibility to understand the purpose of an emotional support dog but kept harassing me about the dog being tied to my seat. At some point a flight attendant even tried to touch my dog, invading my personal space. When the dog rightfully acted defensive trying to protect me, the crew member started threatening me that he would have the dog sent to cargo, the last thing a person with an emotional support pet wants to hear. Extreme lack of professionalism.
Pros: Standard on most parts with pleasant staff
Cons: Flight was 1/2hr with poor pre-flight communication on the topic. Food wise, the chocolate cookie was better than nothing...but a little savory snack would have been nice.
Pros: The space and the people
Pros: I didn’t actually liked the entertainment
Cons: I just didn’t enjoy the entrainment.
Pros: I would like to come on time each trip because I got two late time before with airfrance
Cons: Its been a week. My trip has ended. I still do not have my bags. Terrible customer service.
Pros: Flight was only 50% full. Room to spread out.
Cons: Leg room cramp. Flight arrived late as a result missed connection home.
Cons: Had to check in our underweight small carry on because there was no space left. Left out hotel at 3.15am. A dry croissant did not satisfy three hungry children for breakfast, the coffee was terrible and the seats too close together. Not a good experience.
Cons: the food is terrible.
Pros: Priority boarding
Cons: Premium economy seats do not recline, only slouch. One of our 2 seats wouldn't slouch more than half way. The entertainment options are extremely sparse and the screens are 4:3 ratio, tiny, and of such poor quality that they look like laptop monitors from 1999.
Cons: The food: asked for vegetarian but got incipit vegan... Mostly rice with coconut milk
Pros: Arrived on time
Cons: Cattle car accommodations
Pros: I liked the way a fligh attandant treated me and another two passengers. At the end of the flight he gave us a cup of strawberries for all. The food was delicious specially that pasta, it was yummy.
Cons: TV was too slow.
Pros: Being able to have my meal at the airport before my flight so that I could sleep in comfort.
Pros: Seats were comfortable with good recline. Food was good, but not excellent.
Cons: They forgot the snack/breakfast service for the front right section of economy then had to rush it. Overall, the service was good, but some things just seemed off. An attendant call was never answered, etc.
Pros: Párizs Budapest kb 1 óra késés műszaki hiba miatt. egyébként minden rendbe volt.
Pros: The boarding process was smooth and the crew friendly. Flight ran on time.
Cons: Unloading the baggage took over 90 minutes, and there was no explanation for the delay and nobody from Air France in sight on the ground in Boston.
Cons: The flight arrived late with no clear explanation as to why. Then there was no EU queue at immigration, so more time wasted.
Cons: Bording far away, got my cabin luggage and everyone elses into the cellar because ¨it didn´t fit in the plane¨. There was plenty of room, I had breakable stuff in my luggage, didn´t get the chance to choose. No entertainment AT ALL. Confort: no leg space at all. Not an AirFrance plane, subcontracted. Lousy food.
Pros: I am a 70 year old woman with reduced mobility. The flight attendants made sure that I was given an aisle seat and they helped me find a seat with two empty ones next to me. The crew could not have been kinder.
Cons: There is nothing I did not like.
Cons: We tried to check our bags through Charles DeGaulle onto our connecting Air Canada flight and the agent refused to even discuss it. Pretty bad service.
Cons: Late...delayed from algiers
Pros: The flight went smoothly from boarding to landing. The crew was helpful, kind, & courteous. I would definitely fly Air France again. Online check-in was also easy to follow and complete.
Pros: Not much. Poor service, bad crew
Cons: Better service
Cons: Boarding procedures
Pros: New aircraft had free Wi-Fi and lots of movies. Clean.
Cons: First bag fees of $120 per bag one-way were punitive. Anti-customer policy. Cannot recommend flying with them.
Cons: Flight was delayed for hours on the 21 st and then cancelled. I want refund for transportation and loss of income
Cons: Snack at end of flight was good but lunch was not good and the dinner in Executive Class going over was not good
Cons: Waiting in many lines, waiting on and taking bus to plane on tarmac, climbing stairs with luggage in hot sun.
Pros: Flight left on time.
Cons: In old section of Lisbon airport, and inadequate space to conduct orderly and efficient boarding Both deplaning and re boarding done via movable ramps and passage to and from exposed to weather (thankfully not raining).
Pros: Fantastic crew, super comfortable seats, food was really good, boarding organized.
Cons: Nothing could have been better!
Pros: Great entertainment selection.
Cons: I had two flights that day: TAP Portugal: greeters, assistance loading carry-on, fish with potatoes and spinach, glass of wine, pudding, sandwich, carrot cake bite, coffee and a blanket. Jet Blue: water three hours in, (unhealthy) bag of chips.
Cons: Our flight in Lisbon was scheduled to board an hour before departure. We arrived on-time, went through the line and were then placed in a standing room only area to stand and wait for another 45 minutes before boarding. We were placed near the entrance (I thought to board early as a family) but were later told to join another line when we asked why we sere just standing and waiting while other passengers were walking past us. The communication between staff and between your staff and passengers was poor.
Cons: Not missing our connection due to delays.
Pros: Flight was more spacious on the way back to Boston
Cons: The boarding seemed disorganized with a lack of clarity about those with no wheeled luggage allowed in first.
Cons: Again contact to customer service ahead of the flight was impossible I sent 3 messages about travel with ESA dog and got no response
Cons: The entertainment is very poor. The programs are not on demand and the screeen is old, small and very poor quality. The A330-200 I flew from Boston to Lisbon was excellent and had the new lie flat seats and on-demand entertainment. Big difference between the two airplanes.
Pros: Flight went smoothly overall. Decent leg room. Food was good. We left ontime
Cons: The temperature control in the cabin was poor. Too warm for my liking and no personal air vents. Also their was a passenger behind me who incessantly kicked at my seat each time I tried to recline.
Cons: at check-in agent said we did not have coverage on our ticket for our 2 -50lb bags dispite informing her that we were covered and had no problem on our arriving flight to Portugal - we had to pay 196 Euros or leave our bags in Portugal Additionally we had ordered a wheelchair to assist my wife to the gate - which we also had our arriving flight - agent said she had no record of it. She said we could wait which we did and waited 2 hours to obtain a wheelchair (and came close to missing our plane) not to mention the stress associated with the whole check in process
Pros: I really appreciated the fact that the gate agents enforced the boarding process meticulously. Often times, even when boarding a certain zone, passengers ignore it and board anyway. The staff made sure that people only boarded when their zone was called. The flight and the aircraft was comfortable. The food was better than what I've had on other airlines, if not at least equal.
Pros: The food was good
Cons: This flight never indicated that there would be an additional charge for baggage. It cost me $400 extra dollars. The service for the airline was terrible and the layovers were horrible.
Pros: Good and entertainment options in executive class.
Cons: Flight departed LIS late due to a couple of passengers. Definetly not the airline’s fault.
Cons: Had to check 2 of our luggages, and it cost $95 per piece. Never flown an airline where I had to pay more than $50 per piece. Also carryon has to be less than 8 kg. Our small luggage that we had to check never had any problems with any other airlines about being a carryon but since it was over 8 kg, it had to be checked. Took a 7.5 hour flight and the entertainment screen was not working for anyone, as the system was broken. Will not be flying with airline ever again.
Pros: Excellent layout, excellent service.
Pros: Food was good and there were a lot of good movie selections.
Cons: The process and lines at airport were extreme. I also had thought one bag was included in flight cost. I am an organized traveler and know I read this. But when at check-in, I had to pay 75E for one checked bag. So I feel the website needs to be more clear. Food
Cons: The sound for the movies did not work at my seat or my wife's seat.
Pros: Frequent offers for drinks
Cons: Vegetarian food was terrible, seats were really small
Pros: Crew was friendly and great!
Cons: TVs did not work, no sound/frozen on games
Pros: 75 Euro per bag!!!
Pros: good movies for the long flight. friendly staff.
Pros: I like everything the trip as very good very safety all the best i want to book again next year thank you.
Cons: What i dont like the Chargers for the lugage im supriised i have travel a lot and never paid extra for lugage ? Maria
Pros: Both check ins (to and from Boston) the staff were rude. No information, just alot of speaking Portuguese to other staffers while my family and I stood there. The flight and crew were good, clean, kind and efficient.
Cons: There was a strike in Lisbon. Thousands of people trying to go through security and four people working the booths. Plus NO information. Just chaos, bad feelings and HOURS of standing in lines. Stressful. Will NEVER go to Lisbon again.
Pros: The only airline that makes me feel like a human being and not a piece of baggage. Very comfortable seating with good legroom for tall people like me. Attendants treat you with respect and are responsive to requests.
Cons: Gate number was different from what was on my ticket and the tv screen at the original gate didn't indicate where the new gate was supposed to be. Don't need that kind of stress when traveling!
Cons: Our flight was DCA to Boston then to Lisbon, with similar return. Our return flight into Boston arrived early enough to allow us to get an earlier flight home but TAP customer service wasn't open until after the earlier flight departed. Also, Jet Blue, the domestic carrier, could not change our flight because it was booked through TAP.
Pros: Seat comfort and entertainment.
Cons: Kosher food was poor. They need a different supplier and better food for their business class customers.
Pros: One of the best flights my husband and I have had in awhile. Comfortable, especially for a 6 hr flight. Good movies, crew very nice, food okay.
Cons: Overall it was a good flight - no complaints!
Pros: The flight attendants were very professional and helpful. The food wad good.
Cons: There is nothing that I did not like.
Pros: Friendly air hostesses
Cons: Too much security check at the airport due to the U S Homeland requirements
Pros: Plane didn't crash
Cons: Customer service on TAP IS TERIBLE. Employees are apethetic and useless. Don't fly this airline ever
Pros: It is comparatively inexpensive for business class.
Cons: You get what you pay for! Boarding was very disorganized. Lot of standing around for no good reason. Food and drink service was mediocre -- they ran out of stuff.
Pros: Comfortable seats, no extra charge for blanket and pillow, gluten-free meal was quite good, provided water throughout the long flight, in-flight entertainment offered fairly recent movies, cabin crew were respectful.
Pros: Efficient, courteous flight attendants
Cons: Paid $130 for 2 extra spac s acts. Didn't have any extra space. Had a woman in front of me who reclined her seat all the way for he whole flight. Had to have on of he crew to ask her to put her sat forward for the food service part of th flight.
Pros: All included extra inches of leg room and personal entertainment system at no additional cost. Food was excellent on our way to Europe, not so good on the way back but still decent. The crew was professional and courteous and the boarding process (two kids included) was very smooth. This has been our BEST experience with an airline in 15 years of traveling annually to Europe. I will book with TAP for now on.
Pros: seats were fine. the entertainment system was working.
Cons: it's so dry, but the crew did not come around to offer water except during the food services. the food was pretty darn bad. entertainment selection was pretty bad. try table was dirty.
Cons: See above
Pros: Staff and fact that flight was 45mins shorter
Cons: CHeck in at Lisbon was messy as they made us get back into a passport control line at the gate even though Everton was already seated. Suggest you do this before we get to the gate. Food was mediocre.
Pros: They did beautiful jap thank you so much for your service .
Pros: Food. Movies. Recliner in business class. Assistance when i had a stroke in Portugal
Cons: No country music
Pros: Meal was good, and they gave us a snack since it was a long, trans-Atlantic flight. Crew was friendly.
Pros: The entertainment system was standard. The food was ok.
Cons: At the check in, despite that I have a swiss passport, 5)3 hostess looked solely at my face and assumed I need avisa and asked me three times for my visa. On the flight, blankets are removed 20-30 minutes before landing during which I was freezing. Upon arrival, my new bag i hadnt used as yet was broken and TAP pays nothing and does no kind of exchange for broken bags. Basically- they dont care! During my return flight, despite being checked in adn being at the airport wel ahead of time, the airport clerks gyided me to the wrong desk and I had to wait longer than needed. The check in for baggages had closed by 1 min. They were allowing me to take the flight only if I threw out all my liquids or else were off loading me. They proposed no other solution and wanted to make me pay 450 dollara to put me on the flight the next day. I had an interview the following day and needed to return. I ended buying a new full fare ticket with British airways and got excellent service. I am yet to complain to TAP.
