Cons: "The one carry-on policy was silly and included personal items. I was told to repack my purse into my backpack which was already full. The boarding staff stood over me and told me to throw stuff away in my backpack and asked why I had packed certain things. I am in the process of moving back to the US from Korea after two years so everything I had was everything I owned in the world - which included some sentimental things like a stuffed animal from my mother who passed away when I was three years old. The most infuriating part of this however was realizing that there was one other bag in my overhead bin. In fact most of the overhead bins had one to two bags and plenty of room. My repacking and humiliation was unnecessary and it was only for the morbid satisfaction of the lady at boarding demanding it. At one point I heard her talking with her coworkers about “why couldn’t they freaking listen. We announced it three times.” Well I had approached the counter prior to arrival and they told me to get back in line when I tried to ask about my purse and backpack. In additional to the frustration of all of that, I received my checked in luggage with a wheel missing. I had just bought it and now I have to ship a wheel from the vendor in South Korea or buy new luggage. Thank you guys so much for letting me know which airline to never fly with again."

Cons: "This was a tiny aircraft from Charlotte to Savannah. Our bags were placed into "valet" for the flight. When I retrieved my bag, the handle was broken! Destroyed on a 1 hour flight. This is exactly why people don't like checking their bags. There is no care for other people's belongings. It's bag enough you're packed on these flights like sardines and then you have to worry about receiving your property back the way you gave it to them. Placed a claim, but meanwhile I had to purchase new luggage for my return trip."

So we arrived at the gate for this flight and was told the flight was full. Stood around and waited. Finally another passenger suggested we go to costumer service. Waited an hour in the customer service line fortunately we were able to catch a flight that same night."

Cons: "Right after boarding Zone 5, the crew called for Zone 6, and everyone rushed the line. Zone 5 had not yet completed boarding."

Cons: "It may be La Guardia Airport that is the one to blame and not AA, but long story short I was on the airplane on the ground in NY for about 5 hours. We had a domino effect of things happen that caused us to be delayed and then cancelled. First a Gate change to a different terminal after boarding was suppose to begin so we had to take a shuttle over and we're still missing 50 passengers, Engine problem that required maintenance, refuel because we were in the plane on the ground waiting for so long, deplane and replane for 10 mins because of a law, on the runway and back to the gate for all these different occasions. When they finally let us off the plane after all these hours it was because of weather (although the skies were blue and the pilot was confident it wouldn't be an issue) they didn't actually cancel the flight until 5pm, my flight was suppose to take off at 9am. They were also required by law to give us free snacks Bc we hadn't eaten all day or had fresh air--these were all chips and soda...in gluten free so I had to starve. AA customer relations said they couldn't compensate because the issue that was documented in their records for my flight cancellation was because of "weather"... my flight couldn't be rescheduled until the following afternoon, making me have to cancel work 2 days in a row and pay for multiple taxis and and extra night of boarding. I will NEVER fly AA or La Guardia again."

An ancient plane, cramped seating, wretched food. 3. An hour late departing JFK & arriving CDG so right in the middle of Paris rush hour !!"

The food was not very good at all. Chicken was very dry. Earphones did not work So we could not enjoy the movie. Same problem on the way down. The seats on the 737 are anything but comfortable. Clearly more roomy in business class but not able to relax."

Cons: "It cost me $86 dollars to supposedly upgrade my seat to an exit row with tons of leg room. Granted there was plenty of leg room but the seat was extra narrow to give room for an emergency exit if necessary. I'm not huge but I barely fit in the seat. It was an uncomfortable squeeze which of course got worse as the flight continued. I complained to an attendant that the seat was too small and he had no remedy. If I was a few pounds heavier it would have been impossible. You'd think they would warn a customer of the narrower seat. It's so obvious that it's all about profit for the airlines which sickens me."

Cons: "The flight was delayed due to weather at Newark. But when the weatther turned good, there was no Gate Agent from United for nearly one hour. Finally a captain who was flying home cold not take it and finally went from one gate to another hoping to find a GA."

Cons: "My first flight leg was delayed 2 hrs 15 mins because of "air traffic control conditions". I was told that I would make my connection, so I took the delayed first leg, and when I arrived in Denver for my 2nd leg. Was informed that my connection had already left the gate & I had to spend an awful night at the airport when I could've just stayed in Durango on a nice soft bed at my friends house. Wish I would've had an honest assessment of my flight plans because my choice would've been different."

Cons: "When I arrived to get boarding passes for my family of 5, the flight was overbooked of which I had to pay an additional $241 for our seats. What a ripoff! Not happy with Kayak and will use another travel agency."

Cons: "We were on the tarmac without air conditioning for over an hour and a half with (per usual) very little information about our situation. Pilots told us that we'd be moving in 10 minutes. An hour later it was the same message again. Why do you do this? Keeping your passengers in extreme heat without explanation is not only unacceptable, it's cruel. Flight attendants claimed to also not know what the situation was. They were kind and offered us water but couldn't clarify what was happening or how long we would be suffering. The "wifi" didn't work. There wasn't enough food, drink or snacks for everyone on the plane so those of us in the back got leftovers or fewer choices."

Cons: "There was a "software" problem but they boarded all passengers anyway then made us deboard and get on a spare plane, which was fortunate, but I missed my connecting flight in Denver. What's up with the software in the first place? United staff in Denver were very helpful and courteous."

Pros: "Other then they got me there safe, I dont think there is anything I liked about this flight. Pilot did a decent job, there was lots of turbulance so nothing they could do about it and I made it safe."
Cons: "Plane from Chicago to Savannah was small. I was all the way in the seat not slouching and my knees were crammed in the set infront of me. The arm rests were digging into my thighs as well. Im used to not much leg room but this was a first for how crammed in I was into a seat, Im 6'3" & 270lbs. Ive probably been on 50 different planes over the years to give you some perspective of my experience flying when I say this was a first and a very uncomfortable plane. The plane to take us to Savannah arrived so late it pushed my flight back by like an 1.5 hours from what it was supposed to be."

Went to uniteds customer service for help and the counter lady was so unhelpful and did not show any concerns for my delay."

Also it didn't matter how many times I tried connecting to the wifi, I couldn't and I was willing to pay for it to because it was important that I work during my flight."
