Cons: "One particular flight attendant purposely ignored me when I tried to ask for cream and sugar for my coffee which she did not offer when handing out drinks. Then she looked right at me twice as I tried to give her my garbage which she was collecting, but she ignored me again and left me holding my garbage until a different flight attendant came much later and took it without incident. It made me wonder if it was because I looked Asian- she was helpful and polite to the white women next to me. I was polite and was not being difficult in any way. I'm half white, but was often treated like this in Illinois when I was growing up. She should have been professional and if she had I would have rated the trip as excellent."

Cons: "I was not allowed to use the restroom when we still had 20 minutes or so to land. As they were collecting final garbage, the restrooms were locked and I was not allowed to use them. I can understand cutting off the use of them once the flight crew is seated but they were still walking around and I really had to go. I don't recall a warning for this. If there was an announcement it was not audible over the hum of the engine. I'm very dissatisfied about that final part of my experience."

From the app (with well-timed in-airport prompts), to the lovely crew, to the amazing way the pilot "made up" time so that we arrived a bit early despite a lengthy runway delay due to another plane's mechanical issue (during which the pilot frequently and kindly gave the passengers updates), I was impressed and satisfied."

Passengers continue to bring luggage which takes up too much space in the overhead bins and have more items than permitted. I do not bring luggage on board because it is too hard to find space and it holds up the boarding process."

The passengers were all super uncomfortable. I wish if they knew we were going to be delayed that they would let us just wait at the gate vs. suffer in the sauna plane."

Cons: "I had a problem getting a boarding pass that was a carryforward from a problem that I had had on the flights from the USA to Frankfort 2 weeks earlier. On those flights, I was denied boarding on the flight from Amsterdam to Frankfort because of miscommunication between Delta and KLM. Apparently, the staff who dealt with that problem did not note that the issue had occurred, so it looked like there were "out-of-sequence" segments on my initial flight and I was not allowed to check in electronically. It took several calls to KLM and Delta in Frankfurt to try to resolve the problem and finally it was determined that it could only be resolved at the airport. Other than a very nice KLM representative, the other people I talked to seemed unwilling to engage in helping me and sent me along to someone else. Although the problem was ultimately fixed, this was not a great customer service experience."

Cons: "I purchased a basic economy ticket and upon checking in, my Delta app said my seat was unassigned and I had to get my boarding pass at the airport. I checked back later and the app had me as number 7 on the standby list. I called Delta (wait time 3+ hours... my flight was in 3), and then the Delta app support where I was able to get through to someone. She told me that the ticket I purchased over a month in advance did not guarantee me a seat on the plane (???). She said that if I was bumped from the flight they would reschedule me for the next morning. She was pretty rude and made it seem like I had a 50/50 shot of getting on this plane. I rushed to the airport in hopes that I would be the first from Standby there, and the gate agent told me that I was fine and would board right after first class and be assigned a seat then. Great. Once I got my seat assignment, I board to find out there is someone else sitting in my seat...... They eventually called the desk and had her moved, but it was the weirdest boarding experience I've had.. and I've flown Spirit. These planes that Delta fly's are SO OLD. Both times I have flown Delta the "turbulence" has been so bad and cold air was blowing right on my the whole flight with no option to turn it off (it wasn't from one of the vents, but from the side). Someone close to me works for Delta and I know for a fact that some of their engines blow mid-flight.. and they tell the passengers that it's turbulence.. so that doesn't make me feel very safe. I won't fly Delta again if there is another comparable option."

Cons: "No forewarning of weather impacting flights 3 days later, allowing passengers to potentially change flights. Two hour delay became a four delay which became a five hour delay. Delta reps entirely unhelpful when I asked if anything could be done, "Atlanta is a disaster right now." I get that these things happen from time to time, but Delta is handling this very poorly. I'm actually waiting for my flight out of Atlanta and it's also been delayed, luckily only for 30 minute this time."

Cons: "I'm just glad that we got to the airport 2 1/2 hours early because we needed it. We had to check a dog so we had to go through the special needs line, they had 2 out of 20 of ticket lines open. My wife also needs a wheelchair and after 45 minutes of standing in line, I spoke to one of the idiots that are supposed to be there to help and he went and got a wheelchair which I had to push my wife in the wheelchair through the zig zag line with 2 large suit cases and a dog. It took us an hour and a half to get tickets and then they called for someone to push the wheelchair and we where told to wait for them there. We waited for 10 minutes for someone to come but no one came so I started pushing her towards the Sercurity check line and finally someone came to push her and he stayed on his phone the entire time. When my wife got to the point where she needed to walk through the metal detector she was having a little trouble getting out of the chair so they told her to just stay in the chair and they would push her through in the wheelchair. When she got through, they almost strip searched her and patted her down like she was a criminal. That took another 25 minutes!!! They the guy pushed her to our gate and insisted on taking the chair back with him, so 5 minutes later they asked if it was anyone who needed assistance getting on the plane. I went up and told them that my wife needed a chair to get on the plane so they had to call and get another chair which took another 10 minutes and finally we got on the plane. It took us 2 hours and 15 minutes to get a ticket and go through Sercurity!!!! Very very very unprofessional!!!"

Cons: "As we were a few minutes from our scheduled boarding, the flight was canceled. The reason we were given was the weather, but the weather was fine in Chicago and it was fine in New York. No other flights were canceled, so the weather excuse didn't hold up. They wouldn't put me on another flight that day, so I ended up leaving the next morning on the first flight out but I was still late for work. They didn't seem to be very accommodating or apologetic and I didn't even offer compensation to those who had to stay overnight to wait for the next flight out. C'mon AA. Step it up! I would think that if you cancel a flight, you should help your customers get home the same day. Do whatever you can. I don't think you did whatever you could for most of us on that flight."

Very poor business practice on BA's end and will absolutely avoid flying with them in the future."

Cons: "The third party agent, webjet.com, was horrible. American airlines contacted them several times about canceling the ABQ-ORD flight and they never responded. WEBJET.COM did not put their name on the electronic ticket so I was unaware of who to contact. Finnair was not particularly helpful. They discontinued my chat conversation and didn't have an option to call back so I had to wait for 20 minutes. American Airlines was impressively helpful. They figured out that WEBJET.COM had canceled one leg of our fight and AA.com reinstated the flight. American had also contacted WEBJET.COM numerous times and WEBJET.COM had never responded."

I was compensated for all this mess with a $10 food voucher, and had to get a cab from the airport to the closest and cheapest hotel. My flight to Brussels was uneventful, save one rude flight attendant, and I got to school a day late."

I'm not a big woman but maybe as I dozed off I leaned over a bit...There is no way she didn't feel her cart hit me. Rudeness, it seems is a part of the culture at United because the flight attendants coming back squeezed past the long line for the bathroom without saying, "excuse me." They did however, say, "I need to get by," and one of them brushed by the gentlemen sitting next to me and bumped his laptop and coffee. Overall it seems that the crew working these particular United flights have forgotten that we pay hard earned money to fly. Some of us are going on vacation, to see loved ones, and some are flying to deal with unpleasant circumstances. The staff may fly several times a day, but most passengers do not. There's a lot of prep and anxiety, that goes into taking a flight and a surly flight crew multiplies that anxiety. No one wants to fly with a crew that hates their job."

I emailed the company immediately upon arrival, explained the situation, and asked for a refund of the carry-on fee given the unusual circumstances. I was flatly refused. Horrible experience, horrible employees, horrible customer service, horrible airline. Their ticket prices might be low, but that only seems to be to lure customers in so they can be tricked and swindled for more money. I paid more for my bags than I did for my ticket!! This company seems to operate on a "bait and switch" business model and through some research I did on them following this experience I found they already have compliants against them to the Better Business Bureau. AVOID THIS AIRLINE AT ALL COSTS!!!"

At the gate the boarding process was as expected, except I think the gate agent could have done a bit better crowd control, it was really cumbersome to get across the multitudes of people with unassigned seats or later zones that were clogging up the entrance just standing there. The flight was smooth. Upon arrival at PHX luggage took upwards of 30+ minutes to arrive and some passengers had to wait much longer. My luggage arrived damaged. I filed a report at the Frontier desk but their response was to ask me to leave my broken luggage there, take my items in clear trash bag and wait for a voucher. How am I supposed to take my items to a hotel for business meetings in a trash bag? That's not an acceptable solution to a problem I did not create, baggage handlers did it. When I got to the hotel I realized that the items I had on the front pocket of my luggage were tampered with and one item was missing. I was told I could go spend the money to replace my luggage and bring them back the receipt, and then leave them the broken luggage cause and I quote "you can't have it all". What does that even mean? I can't have MY luggage? That I brought in perfect condition and the baggage handler broke? Come on. They did not explain if they would offer a refund immediately upon receiving my receipt, it was all very rushed and vague and I was going to miss my transport so I had to leave. They did not give me a claim number or a number to call back at. Nothing. I wasn't even being rude or loud or annoyed like some customers get when these things arise. I understood perfectly that it was an accident and these things happen, but I still deserved a proper response and decent treatment, since I just paid $45 for a checked bag only to have it be broken. On the day of my departure from PHX I arrived at the airport on time, 2 hours and 15 minutes earlier from my departure. I stood in line at Frontier for an entire hour to check in my luggage even though I had checked in online and already paid my fee. I asked if there was a place for people who already were checked in and a rude airport staff member told me to just "get back in line". After waiting in line for that long suddenly the desk agent yells to all the passangers from a flight to Denver to move up to the front of the line, so about 100 or more people move ahead of me despite the vast majority of them having arrived late. I understand their flight was leaving earlier but what about our flight? How is it reasonable or fair to reward people for being late and make people who have been dutifully and calmly waiting in line FOR AN HOUR standing with heavy bags wait even longer? The whole thing was just terrible!"

They claim that it was because of the ticket I purchased through a third party, and I told them that they should not advertise any tickets where you intend to charge people for their carry-on luggage. To make things worse, it appears that Frontier does not participate with the TSA pre-check program, and even though I had my global entry card with me, the officer at TSA pre-check would not allow me through this line because of the airline I was flying with - Never again!!! I suspect that on my way back I'll be forced to pay another $45 for my carry-on luggage, which I despise."
