TSA will always be a nightmare but the agents definitely need working scanners. Sending everyone's baggage through two different scanners three times is unnecessary for them. TSA agents also need to direct people on where they're supposed to stand while waiting for their bags so it keeps the flow of traffic moving. It would also make their lives easier if they were more attentive to the personal affects following the items that are to be scanned. That way they don't encounter irate travelers trying to make their flight through a novel long process along with agents not paying attention to items like wallets and boarding passes getting lost in the shuffle. Best way to mitigate this could perhaps be videos preparing travelers on what to do and expect while they wait in the long lines before going through security. I personally experienced the above happening to other travelers. I avoided all the trouble simply by communicating to the TSA agents and letting them know my property location. But expecting groggy citizens to speak up is like watching paint dry.

Take off and landing were ATROCIOUS.
I was told to check through my carryon bag even though it wasn't any heavier or larger than my flight out to Paris. Very upset as they charged me $100 for it and they didn't give me a chance to take medication out of the bag nor my laptop. So they basically placed an illegal item in the checked bag area below the plane. This is not comforting to know. I was not offered any help at the airport even though I'd arranged for "Accessibilty services well in advance of the day I needed them. I plan on taking this up with the ADA and the FAA to share my grievances on how that was handled.

The plane was gross. Everything seemed dirty and had black smudges all over it. The plane was older and areas where paint had chipped off (on arm rests or interior panels) was repainted poorly. I don’t expect aircraft to be pristine but I was kind of surprised this one was still in service. The rest of the flight was fine. The plane was just yuck. Thank god they gave us wet wipes when boarding.

It seemed clear that we would not make our connecting flights, which messes everything up with covid tests, quarantine, and all the many restrictions that airlines have insisted without thinking about the consequences. I tried to share my concern with the agent at American Airlines, knowing that it would probably be better to rebook and start all over for the following week or something. But his limited perspective, condescending attitude, and egotistical control behavior would not listen to me and was only concerned with getting me to the first stop 1.5 hours away. 7hrs later, stuck on that same plane which rerouted and refueled, I am now stuck in a city for 2 days since I had to rebook and start all over for missing my international connecting flight. Still have 20+ more hours of flying to go and nowhere closer to my destination. Hotel, rental, and new covid tests are all at my expense. Just wish American Airlines staff would listen and help, but if you don't shut up and comply to their every demand, they will ban you and ruin your life forever."

Cons: "Bag check is expensive at $40/per. Nickel and dime passengers for everything. Fare was cheap so I guess it was worth it. Online check-in was a big pain, since Frontier had incorrect/missing information (name-was that Kayak's fault or Frontier? I don't know.). When I attempted to correct it, they changed my fare to full price. Allowed check-in to timeout and eventually successfully completed without corrections so that fare was unchanged."

Pros: "None of the self check in stations was working so there’s one very long line to check in with attendants. No effort by staff to get passengers with current flights to get to front of line. Had to convince staff that small women’s pack was a purse and not a 2nd bag to be checked in for $50. Woman in front of me had a more traditional large purse and encountered no problems."

Now the rental car company is closed so I have to sleep at the airport and wait till the budget opens again in the morning. Frontier should put me up in a hotel as their mismanagement caused the delay not the weather. But they just said too bad because the flight was less than 4hours late. Frontier - never again!!!- plus the seats are painful"

They said I could get a credit to use in the next 3 months,but I will not be needing a ticket in The next three months. My travels are over. I am really pissed off. I will NEVER FLY FRONTIER again."

Cons: "The price. I found it very odd to pay for the drinks and snacks. First time flying frontier and I was not impressed with the prices and how divided all the costs were, checked bags, carry-on, personal, etc."
Cons: "The plane was over an hour late and they lost our luggage. I understand things happen it was not that big of deal but the lady in Syracuse was unfriendly and acted like she could care less. We ended up going to a wedding in our shorts and flip flops because we had no clothes and not enough time to purchase any. Our bag was delivered about 1am. The customer service was really pathetic. Not even an I'm sorry this happened."

Cons: "The amount of delays. The departure and arrival times was a major reason I flew with Frontier to begin with, so without that I have little incentive to fly with Frontier in the future. At the check-in counter it seemed unorganized. The automated check-in machines were not working properly and customers were not helped in an orderly line when I had to check-in at the counter."

Pros: "I am not the type of person to complain about something that is expensive, if I am receiving the services I am paying for. Therefore, I cannot complain too much about Frontier since I paid so little and received what was promised: a round-trip flight at an affordable price. I understand that, in order to be competitive, stay open for business, and keep rates low, Frontier must find additional ways to accrue income besides the base fare. However, literally everything beyond a basic ticket was vastly overpriced. "You want to bring more than two tee-shirts and a book? $30." "You want a childs ration of nuts and a soda in flight? $12. You can place them on your 3 inch tray table." And then, as we near the end of an already insufferably uncomfortable flight, we must endure a 20 minute long speech over the PA about the Frontier rewards credit card. I truly appreciate that Frontier Airlines offers competitively unheard of rates for a basic fare. But aside from being allowed to bring a only a change of shirt to Denver for the weekend, sitting in a dingy/cramped plane next to a stranger because I would not pay $42 extra to sit next to a friend, and being forced to listen to the desperate plea of a credit card signup quota, I will next time happily pay the traditional rate to take a flight somewhere where I am treated like I am not a passenger on a Malaysian Airlines flight that has somewhere along the way become lost between the importance of customer satisfaction and competitive prices."
