Cons: "Paying to check our bags when others got theirs checked for free by taking them to the gate wasn't fair. Having my disabled mother have to walk from the ticket counter to some wheelchair waiting area rather than bringing the chair to her started it trip off with stress we didn't need. I even asked if they could bring it to her and they said just go over to the station and wait."

Older people were having trouble walking the distance, I actually went ahead to get a wheelchair for an older lady that I didn't know because there was no one on the tarmac to assist. Very horrible experience and I fly Alaska often. Never have I ever exited the plane on the tarmac in pdx and when I complained to an Alaska worker, she told me it was normal. I fly to PDX once a month and have never exited directly on the tarmac. I will definitely look for any other airline to fly instead of Alaska from now on. I will even fly spirit airlines....that is how much I will never fly Alaska again."

Not only did we miss our connection but our checked bag was rerouted onto another flight with no formal notification."

The coffee maker onboard had been broken for a long time and the airline couldn't be bothered to fix it. If I were the flight crew, I would have gone on strike. No leg (or arm) room on the express jet really punctuated a 34 hour itinerary with a sour note. I could barely walk off the plane in the end. Less comfortable than a cheap rental truck for the same amount of time. I likely won't fly again with United. I'd almost rather walk next time to be completely honest. At least it would be healthier!"

The direct flight option was fabulous
Frontier airlines is essentially a scam that operates by charging exorbitant baggage fees with the guise of low-cost airfare. I was charged $99 for a carry-on bag at the gate because it wouldn’t fit in a comically small size checking box. This was the same as the cost of the airfare. On the plane, my personal item that I was charged $99 for fit under the seat in front of me, as I knew it would which is why I didn’t pay for it in advance. Further, the plane was maybe 10% full. The entire mid section of the plane was completely empty yet my seat was in a full row of passengers. The crew told us that we could not move into the empty seats (including the vacant exit row immediately ahead) due to “zoning”. To cap it off, halfway through the flight we were treated to a full 15 minute spiel on the frontier credit card. No beverage, no snack, no leg room, for a flight I ultimately paid more than the non-budget carriers would have charged. What a horrible experience and a horrible airline.

I arrived an hour before my flight and I was unable to get a boarding pass . They were only able to reschedule me a minimum of 2 days later. Totally unacceptable. Tries getting a voucher or a credit and they were going to charge me more fees then what I paid for. So unacceptable

Pros: "The plane was new and very clean"
Cons: "This was the final leg of my return from Athens, Greece ....... a short 3.5 hour flight that turned into a nearly 4 hour delay arriving home at 3:40am and in with patients at work at 8am. Also when asked for a soft drink, I paid for this? Shouldn’t a simple soft drink be some courtesy after such a delay? Just thinking out loud from past experiences I’ve had with my travels"
Pros: "Relatively cheaper than the other options I had to choose from but you can see why it is cheaper. The flights attendants where very nice and respectful."
Cons: "As someone who is tall, the seats are rather small. Boarding passes had to be checked manually but that didn't cause many issues."
Cons: "Flight to SAT was cancelled and they put me in this one to AUS next day, Instead of SAT."
Pros: "The crew were kind and efficient and the planes were clean and well maintained."

Cons: "All members of the staff were rude (baggage, boarding, in flight, corporate on phone reservations). Purchasing tickets was terrible. Frontier's goal is to find anyway to get additional money from you and they stick it to you. In the end, we paid $200 more for this flight than if we had flown Southwest or JetBlue. I understand that budget airlines remove amenities to help control the cost of the flight. However, this experience felt more like buying a used car from a second hand car lot. The staff seemed to delight in finding ways to get more money from you, everything about the experience screamed cheap, and in the end, I paid more in extras than I did for my tickets! Pass this one over if you are looking for a cheap flight."

Cons: "There was NO information provided on the flight being late. Stewards were rude to people boarding - having personal conversations & offered mo help. Horrible crew & flight. I will NEVER fly Frontier again. Plus, there were $100 of hidden fees. Really?"
