Cons: "Passengers were not wearing the mask appropriately and the AA crew didn’t do anything about it. The flight was so packed that was not space for social distancing. As a healthcare professional I just feel that AA is not really concerned with doing their part to avoid the spread of the virus and minimize the number of deaths from the actual pandemic. As a professional that has been in the frontline to combat this pandemic I don’t feel safe traveling in the AA flights anymore. I don’t feel that AA cares abouymy well-being and health to keep going where is need to fight this cause. I’m sorry I’m very disappointed and frustrated after this experience."

Cons: "Plane was delayed for 1 hour, electrical problems, which were never fixed. No entertainment no wifi, unable to charge battery on cell phone. Cabin very warm."

Cons: "The crew was rude, the entertainment system was broken, there was 0 leg room, and it took hitting the call button 4 times to get water after beverage service (the second time they walked up, turned it off and walked away). I vowed to never fly American again after this flight."

Cons: "Commuter jet boarding at DCA is going to stink until the new terminal is completed. Just is."

Cons: "1. Seats uncomfortable- too close together. Causing the person in the middle to lean on me. 2. The seat in front of me reclined into my space leaving me no room to extract my food tray and to cramped to work on my computer. 3. When buying a ticket no assigned seat. Paid 100.00 extra to select my seat and it didn’t allow me to choose anyway. When I went to select my return seat I had two choices- a middle seat or pay an additional 35.00 for a premium seat. 4. Had to pay 140.00 for luggage with no carry on (70.00 each way) 5. Not going to fly American anymore."

Cons: "flight from Philadelphia to Venice was delayed at take off and landed like two hours late. Venice airport pass control too another 1.5 hour. i lost my connecting flight by minutes and had to buy another tickets to Dubrovnik for $1,176.91. i like to get compensated by either Kayak or BA."

Cons: "American Airlines won't let you buy emergency row exit seats (or bulk head) because the 'code share' prevents them from advance seat sales. I was told I could do it at check in in Los Angeles. But those seats were sold out long before we even got to LA! I contacted American Airlines Customer Relations about 1 month prior to my flight. I completed their online form detailing the problem and asked if there is any way I could buy extra leg room seats. But they never even bothered to respond. I got the automated email acknowledging receipt of my complaint and assuring me I would be contacted soon. NOT!!"

Cons: "Food isn't good. the connections can be offered in a much better and time efficient way but they were not. I had to change airports in NYC with a 7-hr layover while they could've flown me to JFK (there was available flights). Same thing with coming back, a long layover in Texas."

Pros: "Staff was courteous. Plane was clean."
Cons: "It was a very grueling trip. Plane left Rome at 9:15a but that meant getting there at 7:15a. Plane was kept dark even though it was daylight outside. Staff was courteous but did not particularly demonstrate awareness of the strain on the travelers being cramped for 10+ hours. Plane was so cramped that one could not take a stretch walk down the aisles to alleviate muscle cramp being in same position for 10 hours. My ultimate destination was San Jose, CA, but that entailed a wait at O'Hare from 12:30p to 8p. Again, staff uninterested in traveler comfort in these parameters. American felt okay to delay my last leg from Chicago to San Jose an hour later than original scheduled, but offered no compensation for the addition to my discomfort. The switch from British Airways to American was a surprise. New flight numbers, change increased my travel stress. I am only 5'3" and not obese, yet could not really fit in my seat: kept getting bumped by passers by in aisle. Airline uninterested in passenger comfort."

Pros: "Plenty of food and drink on the flight. Having your own choice of movies and TVs to watch helped pass the time."

Pros: "I like that they let a 70-yo wobbly old man hobble the length of plane to get some hot tea because there's no climate control i the air craft, and let the poor old man hobble back by himself juggling the hot tea in his hand and trying his best not to fall. Plus I truly admire one of the air stewardess's ability to chew gum - she was chewing vigorously throughout the 7-hour long flight. Amazing."
Cons: "BA and AA is the best partners. Because both their air crew are clueless about service standards. A 7-hour flight from London to JFK, again no meal choices, no offer of drinks in between meal times - is this a standard Western service level?"

Cons: "I can't rate it because they canceled my entire itinerary without so much as an email. I did not take my flight to Wilmington via my original flight. I had to book another flight because the change fees were too expensive. I did not know that my return flight to Denver had been canceled until I was checking in a few hours before my flight. I was told my ticket had no value. Awesome! It really stings that I then had to book a new return flight, and because I am a teacher who makes about $23,000 a year, I had to book the cheapest flight, which was with American. I do not plan on giving them any of my hard-earned money in the future if I can help it."

Cons: "Never enough overhead storage space when flight attendants bring three carryons and passengers can only bring two. The Group Zone boarding process is an improvement. Captain not very informative about the plane's route of flight and some of the major cities the that we flew over."

Cons: "While waiting for our baggage in Phoenix, we noticed a few random bags with tears, rips and clothes hanging out. Then we saw our suitcase. The zipper was torn away from the lining so that it no longer closes all the way. There items hanging out of the gap. What was happening in the basement that caused at least 4 damaged bags?"

Cons: "Last row. They forgot to assign us seats and we almost didn't get one. We had to because we had a dog. They put the dog under the wrong reservation and were concerned they charged someone else for it. No concern for fact they forgot to get us seats. We were in last row center seats. Horrible. Then we were starving and willing to purchase food. By the time they got to us, they were out of food. What?!?! We were willing to pay! Rude personnel. Horrible all around. Hate America. United is better."

Cons: "It was very delayed which I understand happens but then we arrived in San Francisco and were delayed on the runway because of the gate. I think at this point moving us to an open gate would have been nice - we had been delayed for so long - my 8 year old daughter was really having a hard time. Instead we had to sit and wait for 20 more minutes once we were on the ground. This seems avoidable to me."
