1st time that I maje a conplain. By doing the PRE check in electronic I was charged over $50 for a carry on that other passengers were nit charged. I called in Guatemala for a refund and spoke to a supervisor who told me there's nothing they could do. VERY dissaponting i didn't Fer the credit for an unfair charge.
I liked very much that there was a Spirit airlines agent there personally to escort us from our domestic flight to this next international flight because it was foreseen that the time between the flights was too short. I also liked that this agent continued to stay around making sure people got through security in a less stressful and timely way so that they would not miss their flight. This was of very critical importance to relieve the stress and also complete the very much needed thorough security check.
I didn't like that there wasn't enough time between the flights. If I, a male, was pressed to be able to go through all that transfer and security and barely have enough time to make that bathroom stop before the next flight which I was able to board as the last person in the regular boarding, I can't imagine what it is like for the ladies.
THE FLIGHT WAS ON TIME, didn't have any delays. Crew was friendly. I kinda liked the fact that you can pay for your food only if you want to, not everyone likes the food or snacks airlines offer so its cool to be able to choose. I guess spirit airlines is practical for adventurous people, but not comfortable for family groups cause as you ad on services it gets too expensive.
There is no entertainment on board. It gets boring and not everybody wants to sleep so, some music onboard would be fine. Not enough weight permitted on checked bag. Baggage fees to expensive. Depending on what you would like to snack on board some of the prices where to high.
The cheaper seats don't recline and, even me being a petite woman, there is very little room to move. The seats are banged from behind. I have short legs and could not extend my legs without kicking the person in front of me under the seat. For a "no-frills" airline, by the time you buy your seat and your baggage, it's barely cheaper than the others.
