My connecting flight in Chicago was way too tight because of a LONG delay waiting to unboard. Had to run, yes run through ORD to get to terminal 2 from 1 within minutes to catch my flight. I was in group 3 but was stuck behind people in other groups. Also, they ran out of room in the overhead storage which is frustrating when you're flight is already pushed out to a later time - the last thing I want to do at 1:00 am is wait for my luggage because it had to be checked. People brought on carry-on suitcases along with 1 personal item which were huge tote bags or backpacks. There's got to be a way to monitor overhead storage for items like that - if it's the size of a carry-on, they should need to check their suitcase. The snack was lack-luster. I went on a 5-hour flight to Seattle a few months ago and one cookie with no protein is hardly filling for that long of a flight."

There were long lines at the desk at the gate, and I couldn't stand there to get my seat changed. Now I'm dealing with lots of leg pain as a result. I NEVER would have booked this flight if I'd known I would'nt have an aisle seat. IT IS "BAIT AND SWITCH"!"

Cons: "Dinner was served within 1 hr of takeoff and breakfast 1-2 hrs of landing. Nothing served inbetween. There was about 10-11 hrs of nothing. No drinks or snacks served. Very poor service in compairison to other international flights I have taken."
Cons: "Flight was cancelled due to mechanical issues after waiting for 3 hours. The next flight they put me on was the next day on another airline. They put us up in a shity hotel and the meal vouchers only worked at the airport where everything was closed by then or hotel which had no restaurant. United offered a $50 compensation which is a kick in the teeth compared to the inconvenience I was put trough. If I don't get properly compensated from United for that horrible experience I will never fly them again and tell everyone I know to never fly United."

Cons: "We flew united on our way to forida and we had a layover our first flight got delayed so we missed our second flight. Then on our way back they tried doing the same thing. The lady at the counter thank god ran down to delta and got us a flight to atlanta then to st louis. I think united just doesnt want to pay for a hotel room when they are the ones that kept delaying it. It was a nightmare and i dont plan on flying united again."

Advertised prices are just to suck you in then upcharges for everything including seats, carry on, and water, make you feel like a chump because you fell for it. I only fly it because of the direct route but would avoid this line if I can."

Cons: "8 hour layover in airport, 2 hours holdover inside plane cabin on departure flight. On return flight 2 hour hold in cabin on tarmac while other frontier plane waits to take off. They were still cleaning up their mess a week later, claiming issues were due to weather while pilots admitted otherwise and all other airlines continued to fly with no issue. I will avoid this airline in the future, its not worth spending a little less to risk your vacation. Also if you have back problems none of their coach seats recline they are so cheap."

They say they'll pay the cost of that alternate flight too, rather than just refund the ticket price. Also have offered a $200 certificate good for a Frontier flight within 90 days."
Cons: "My first ever flight booked on Frontier. Imagine how I felt - the flight was first delayed for three hours and then cancelled. Frontier offered to book passengers on the next flight, which was two days out and only had eight seats open. Guess you get what you pay for."

Cons: "There was nothing to like they canceled our Monday flight and had no available flights until Friday. They could not help us secure a flight on a different carrier so could only refund our money. That's really wrong as when you book in advance your flight costs substantially less. We ended up getting a Southwest flight back to Milwaukee for 524.00 per seat. So Frontier canceling our flight home added $700.00 to the cost of our 3 day trip. Never Never again will I fly with them FAA HELP!"

Pros: "What happened to me was that I was supposed to fly to a wedding in Ft Myers Florida on October 7, 2016 and then Hurricane Matthew hit Florida... I had such anxiety flying alone that I skipped the flight there and obviously the return flight as well... I am so upset with myself and I was hoping to get a partial credit or some type of voucher being that so many flights were cancelled... I would have flown had my flight been the next day or weather conditions better... I am so bummed that I lost the $370 round trip ticket as our son that I never get to see came from California to be in our neighbor boy's wedding... I was so sad I missed my flight due to weather and flight anxiety... :("

It was my fear of traveling in awful weather and during Hurricane Matthew that made me not get on the plane... :(. Cons: "First, plane maintenance. We pulled away from the gate & loud noises including grinding metal started coming from the left wing. We were towed back to the gate and deplaned, process took an hour. They determined a part was needed and solution was to have it driven by car from an airport 3+ hours away. Little info was shared from mechanical to gate agents. After several hours they gave us certificates for $10 off food and non alcoholic drinks...after we'd already eaten. Then they announced everyone would receive $100 vouchers by email for a future flight once the plane took off. 3 hours after our scheduled depart time, I see the plane crew walking away with their luggage...never a good sign. That's when we knew this was going to be a loonnnggg delay. We decided to see if we could get on same flight the next day. Gate agent was great and made it happen...but we could not get our checked luggage. Fine, we left and went home. Turned out to be a good decision, flight finally left 9 hours late! Next day we go to airport early, use our $10 certs. from previous day and fly as scheduled...until we arrive in Cleveland and there is no gate ready for us. We sat for an hour waiting for a gate. Then we get off the plane and no $100 certificates in email and are told its because we changed flights! Are they kidding? Airline travel has become like the bus lines of the air but this airline is just awful! Tray tables the size of a phone, extra charges for seats, luggage and drinks, obviously inferior maintenance, poor communication and lousy customer service. Avoid Frontier if possible."

Cons: "Frontier scheduling two flights within fifteen minutes of the other. Only two workers at the ticket counter.....neither with anything resembling a sense of urgency. Bigger issue is your baggage policy.....it takes much longer to check in people with checked baggage, if carry-ons were cheaper many would not check baggage, making the process much more efficient."
Cons: "Despite that the plane had clearly not arrived, the desk people indicated we would still be on time, and we were told that we would make up the time in the air. After waiting for 1.5 hours on the tarmac, we were 1.5 hours late to our destination. The seat were very small and not very comfortable and did not recline. We were told when checking-in online that we would have to pay $16 - $50 to guarantee that we would sit next to each other (only 2 people). Also there was a steep charge for checking and even carry-on luggage! The airline also lost one of our bags on the return trip. Pretty terrible experience overall."

Cons: "Flight was over two hours late. When booked through Kayak I thought the price would include my seat, but I had to actually pay more to have a seat. The seats don't recline and the cheaper the seat the more expensive it got. I don't know if that is Frontier or Kayak to charge extra on top of the flight to actually have a seat, but that is ridiculous. The staff was great but they didn't announce when the boarding started and it wasn't on the monitors through out the airport with the correct boarding time."
Pros: "Feeling like cattle on a flight delayed 2 hours, in uncomfortable seats and waiting nearly an hour (at 1:00 AM) for luggage to arrive at the carousel. this all translates to getting home at 2:00 AM with a back ache."

Cons: "I waited in line to check in for 45 minutes or so. No-one was at the desk. A customer ended up finding a security guard and asking them to find a Frontier employee. They paged for one over the loud speaker. How embarrassing. A woman started checking customers in, with the attitude of the century. She was angry, rude, and just plain nasty. This should not be the face of Frontier. When friends and family ask, "How was your flight?" All I can picture is that woman and her pinched tight frown of a mouth, angry grimace of a face and condescending hateful tone. Good day."

No leg room, a pathetic excuse for a tray table not even large enough to read on, seats that will not recline. what is next that the airline can remove to make our experience even worse? Each year the experience gets worse as more comforts are removed. I no longer look forward to travel but dread it. Travel used to be special and now it just sucks."

Pros: "I felt deceived by Frontier. I knew paying the low fair I was going to get a bare bones trip. I was fine with paying for my own drink. I cannot believe that the airline is charging $40 bags for a carry on!!!!!! Also I had to pay an additional $27 each so my husband and I could sit together. Shame on you frontier. Of given the choice I will NEVER fly with this airline again. Everyone I tell about my experience has their own negative story to tell about Frontier. I suggest you change your practice before you go out of business. My final cost was double the original price of my original ticket. Just price the ticket as it should be."
Cons: "The fact you pay $30-60 to check a bag and even more for a carry on. The fact our flight was 2 hours late and they did not use any empathy or have any kind of reasoning as to why it was so late. Flight attendants rude to couple about their son being handicap and wasn't able to sit in emergency exit row. They get you with the cheap airfare but then after tacking the $60 for bags $60 for taxi after our ride couldn't pick us up at the airport at 2:30am it was not worth it. I will never fly on frontier again acter this joke of an experience."

Cons: "After paying for my luggage & to choose my seat (why would it cost ME money to do someone else's job!?!?), the cost of my flight would have been the same on pretty much any other airline. The seats are hard as a rock, they don't recline and the tray tables barely hold a cellphone. On top of the ridiculous extra fees and discomfort, there is a charge for any and all snacks/beverages. I can't believe that after all of those fees Frontier can't even offer water? I will be avoiding flying Frontier from now on."
Cons: "Baggage did not arrive due to weight limitations which in my opinion is due to too many seats crammed onto the plane. My 89/91 year old parents first class seats were possibly a few inches wider and still 3 seats across...that's a rip off. No TSA - pre check. Limited staff for check in with long lines. Also, only 2 check-in kiosks with only one working and no assistant to help speed along the process. I witnessed one man who spent approximately ten minutes trying to print his boarding pass. Cheap tickets which result in getting what you pay for."

The additional fees for baggage, both checked and carry-on, surprised me but the cost was still more than $100.00 less than any other airline. All the airline personnel with whom I interacted were gracious, helpful, and professional. Would definitely fly with Frontier again."

Cons: "A few things that I was unhappy about......, When I went to go print my ticket for my flight, I "then" found out I would be charged for a carry on bag. I was not aware of this charge! So having to pay an extra $40.00 did not make me a happy customer! You need to let people know of such charges. Note: Also let customers know that when they print their ticket they will have choices not only on carry on bags but also seating on the plane. I took the seat given to me as I was not paying extra for the seat too! Also, I had never been charged for a soda or snack before on any other flights I have been on, So I just drank water! Good to know it was free! :)"
