Pros: "Well, maybe except of these "preferred sitting" arrangement. The sit was in front of open space and restrooms. Constantly people were standing and waiting for the restroom. Their butts were literally at the "preferred sited" passengers faces. I felt, I would be way more happy in a regular sit."

Cons: "Frankfurt Airport check lines too long. Only half of security checking stations opened. Hundreds waiting in line and the lines moved too slow. After passing the long lines of security checks, you come to passport checking stations. only 1 out of 3 available stations is manned. Again, lines too long and barely moving. Probably many missed their flights while waiting to go through passport checks. We lost almost 2 hours between security and passport checks. Airport personnel were unfriendly, they did show any care towards the hundreds that are herded like sheep in long lines. They could have eased this backlog of people by manning all their available stations but they did not. Will try not to go through this airport in the future."

The in seat computer system worked very well, easy to use with good choices for entertainment. The staff apologized for the hot conditions during boarding."

Our first snack on an 11 hour flight was stale pretzels and lukewarm orange juice, but this may have been from my choice of products. Cons: "Getting to LHR early for. 6:30 am flight was no use since they don't have any departing flights between 11pm and 6 am. So we were stuck in the lobby for hours until ticket agents arrived at 4 am. There was one open coffee shop however. Then we waited for security to arrive at about 4:30 am to get through and it was quite a slow shake down. One through there were no restaurants open until 5-5:30 am. The flight itself was fine. Facilities at Frankfurt were minimal with toilets offering only one stall each. While standing in the long queue a lady and her young daughter were rudely ushered out by the male custodian for cleaning, and then it could not be used for another 10-15 minutes."

Cons: "When a couple of ladies boarded and were going to be seated in the exit isle. going by the color of their skin and the clothes they were wearing, the stewardess with long blonde hair, assumed they did not speak English, and rather rudely told them that they should not be in this row. To which they responded in prefect English. told her they were comfortable with the emergency seat and helping passengers. She kept pushing them and finally they switched with a couple other passengers. VERY RUDE!!!!"

Air France service was superb. The airline did their best to expedite the boarding process even with the constant changes of Covid19 guidelines

Cons: "We landed early, but sat out on the tarmac for about 20 minutes or more waiting for the opportunity to taxi to another spot on the tarmac where we deplaned and got on a bus. When we arrived at the terminal, the crowds were very large and slow moving. We got through passport control, but afterward my husband was randomly chosen for a security check and was taken away to a secluded room. I tried to wait for him, but after many people came out who had gone in after him, I finally asked where he was. I was told he went out another door and to look for him at the gate. I went to the gate area only to see a massive crowd which completely filled the entire hallway for about 100 feet or more. I I asked a friend to watch my luggage so I could manipulate through the crowd to try to find my husband, who also had no idea where I was. This was very stressful. The flight left almost one hour late, which is unacceptable. Flight transfers in Rekjavik airport were absolutely terrible in both directions. Something needs to be done about the way Icelandair is scheduling flights and not handling crowds!"

As the plane was taking off I got the right for a "shower" 8E or F....water was dripping down into the seat. I made the stewardess aware of it bc I was not sure whether this was the beginning of a downpour or just a consistant drip....She told me she got a couple of drips too. My response to her was wait a minute you are working, I paid 300+ for this seat. She shrugged. When she came around with her cart she offered me two chocolate bars? In reykavitch we sat on the tarmack waiting for passengers delayed from Berlin. They could have delayed boarding a little more since the flight was delayed anyway."

When we checked in they initially had no record of our continuing flight on Virgin Atlantic to the US. They checked our bags through to the US but could not give us boarding cards for the 2nd leg of our flight on Virgin."

The gate agent was accommodating and checked them at no charge, but that could have been an expensive proposition if she wasn't perceptive. All food and drinks on this flight are for purchase vs. complimentary"

He this was our seventh plane ride in two weeks and nobody else has given us a problem.. After 10 days on the Camino DeSantiago the extra stress was not welcome.. Also short trip with the no there for each service was disappointing. Didn’t see a whole lot of the crew. It was if they were taking a break the entire time."

Cons: "There are no blue US custom declaration forms on the flight anymore. Many people cannot access the automatic kiosks, and I wish we could still have access to the forms while on the plane. It is stressful to have to do it after landing, with no real place to write. The flights were both fine, but the layover in DFW was a nightmare. Thankfully we landed 30 min early, but we only made our connection with a few minutes the spare. We ran through the airport, and had to ask many people if we could go ahead of them at the security. We didn't have time to use the bathroom and buy water/food. I understand this is not the airline's fault, but I would recommend extending the minimum connection time at this airport."

Pros: "They offered pretty decent food and snack options that were included in the flight- the high quality chocolate ice cream was an especially nice touch as well as the included wine. My seat appeared to have more space than the flight previous to it, so that added a lot more comfort without the extra expense of having to pay for the "more space" seating- I often feel like airlines nickel and dime you to death these days. Perhaps it was just the luck of the draw, but the seats had much more legroom than my first flight to Paris as opposed to the return to NY. The flight crew were all courteous and pleasant. Leather seating with readily available pillows and blankets for all was a nice touch as well."

With less than 30 minutes to departure, and still haven't gone through security, I gave up and made my checked bag a carry-on as well. I don't know if Captain and the flight attendants were soft-spoken, or if the volume was not turned high enough, but I could hear less than have of what was said over the audio system."
Cons: "On the plane for approx six hours. Sat for two hours at the gate, then another hour on the tarmac. Would have been more bearable, but AA's seats are sooooooo close together, that there is nowhere near enough room to stretch legs when weather causes delays. AA's seats are the most uncomfortable (in regard to space and lumbar support) of the three major airlines."

Cons: "The organization with American Airlines at Charles de Gaulle was absolutely pathetic. I understand it's a busy airport, but NONE of the other airlines had lines like American did. Then by the time you get up to an American airline employee, incompetence was written all over their faces. The straw that broke the camel's back was that they insisted on separating my partner and me while doing security questions, meanwhile other parties who were together were not separated (LGBT discrimination). This pushed us back 10 minutes--we were separated and he was having to wait for me after the questioning to get my bag checked, too. I'll add that we arrived to the airport with over 2 hours to spare before our flight which should have been more than enough time. We probably would have missed the flight if not for a few decent Charles de Gaulle employees who bumped us though lines at customs when they realized the time crunch, no thanks to anyone with American Airlines. I heard so many saying they will not use American Airlines again, and how saving a few dollars was not worth the headache. Flying is already stressful enough, don't make it that much worse."

There were no individual screens only 1 screen hanging down every five or six seats. The seats are very, very narrow. The cleanliness of the tray tables were gooey and full of crusted dirt as were the seat areas in front of the tray tables. I was told that they fly an even older plane from Europe to NY, which is an old one aisle plane. Not sure why AA continues to use such out of date planes but if they use planes from the 1980's it seems to me that they should charge 1980 prices!"
Cons: "After having my flight delayed 4 hours causing me to miss my connection, I was placed stand by on a different flight through another city so I could try and make it home on time. I was the first person in line for stand by, but the flight was full so I knew it was a long shot. Waiting at the gate, I was excited because one person didn't show and they were giving him a two minute wait time before I could board. During this wait time a woman passenger came over and said she had just been given a ticket change at the gate counter. The agent at the gate was furious because the flight was sold out and said the woman should not have received a ticket, but should have been placed on stand by. She went over and scolded the other agent for this mistake. Okay, so she should've been placed on STAND BY behind me in line. After the unprofessional arguing between the two agents, they both admitted it was a mistake and she should be second in line for stand by, BUT they did not honor this and placed her on the plane bumping me. Needless to say, I missed my connecting flight because of this and extremely inconvenienced my family and in addition had to pay an extra 75 dollars out of my pocket to keep my dogs at their kennel an extra night because I arrived home 5 hours after expected. I understand that flights end up getting delayed and the agents are doing the best they can to accommodate travelers, but admitting a mistake and not fixing it to make it right is unacceptable. I notified American Airlines of my situation and only received a form letter with enough miles to get me 1/8 of a flight. I don't even care about the miles because I don't plan to ever fly with them again, I want the money for the dog kennel I had to pay extra. I was visiting my husband who serves in the US Army causing separation from our family for long periods of time and this extra headache and expense due to the mistake of American Airlines was disheartening."
