Flew Business Class on Swiss Air once to Geneva (#1) and all the flights I have had with Porter Air are comparable to your airline, but the free cookies and beverages at Porter's terminal in Toronto wonderful."
Cons: "A couple things went wrong on this trip, my checked luggage got misplaced for a day, and a nice women in baggage claim told me what was happening and a nice man handled my claim and my bag has now been returned to me. The bigger thing is my flight bas delayed taking off by 3 hours. Let me start that I would rather have a part replaced on the runway then not, safety is paramount. The fact is my flight took off 3 hours late from London (VS11), and got to my destination (BOS) 2.5 hours late. Kudos to the flight crew for getting me to my destination faster by gaining a little time. Plus, since BOSTON was my final destination it was all fine this time. But if I had had to get home to the elder person I take care of or my teenager it would been a problem. Again, I'm annoyed, but I do understand the reasons and they are valid and preferred. I have heard that airlines to keep their flight rating high, wait for planes to leave the gate on time and then do repairs on the tarmac. If this is still a SOP for airlines you should change the way the statistics are collected and figure out a way of not perpetuating this type of disincentive. This is just hypothesis on my part, and my whole trip had little negatives."

Another long, slow line for customs, another long slow line for security=Charles De Gaulle airport was awful. We arrived at the airport 4 hours before our departure time and got to our boarding gate with no time to spare."

Foot cubby is narrow and constrictive, bordering on claustrophobic."

And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

Cons: "Departure was scheduled with one hour delay. When everyone was boarded they mentioned a leaking toilet. It took them 1,5 hours to disable the toilet. In the mean time, no drinks, no snacks, nothing. So we should depart at 18:00 but it became 19:30. Our first drinks and meal was no earlier then 21:00. The crew should have anticipated better that the technical problem would at least take one hour and give everyone a drink at least."

The flight was delayed in Paris and I ended up missing my connecting flight through JFK to DC. Though we were told on the plane that we would be given assistance upon landing and helped in an expedited manner through customs, instead I was briefly informed I had missed my connecting flight, handed an envelope, and told I needed to now travel to Laguardia Airport. No other information or assistance was provided. I was not given a reason why I needed to travel an hour in NYC traffic to switch airports nor was I given any help through customs. The shuttle I was told to take was unable to take me to the correct terminal, so I needed to get on a secondary shuttle. Again, after a 7 hour international flight, little assistance or aid was provided. I was barely able to make it through security in time to catch the new flight. Additionally, the actual flight from Paris to JFK lacked basic in-flight entertainment that almost any international flight would have. I will not be traveling on American Airlines again, and I am hopeful that Kayak and BA will be more clear in the future."

She compared my voice to the startle of 911 and caused a scene in front of the majority of the passengers. All I wanted was the food that was available for each passenger because she skipped My row. After talking to another flight attendant who claim to be a manager name Celeste who was wearing a visible name tag along with every other flight attendant except for her, I asked her for the name so I could write up a review she refused to give me her name saying it was against their policy to give up first names even though it’s clearly on everybody’s shirt except hers she removed it or covered it up w/ her apron even though Robert Robert was wearing an apron with his name tag outside of his apron like he should the attendant that gave me problems took off her name tag and covered it with an apron that was a violation of dress code. A simple apology is all I asked for but she refused to apologize and the managers only response was “I can’t make her apologize” Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect on a flight as I am a frequent flyer to Paris on United everybody else and all other flights was extremely helpful and courteous. This woman started ranting and raving about 911 and getting people nervous for no reason. I will be writing a formal letter to the corporate office. I just barely got home and wanted to write this review because it ruined my experience in 9 1/2 hour flight experience. It was also very embarrassing for me and my family, as other customers were bothered by this and had to listen to this. I was trying to speak over the air conditioner and after the third time of her not acknowledging me that is one I raise my voice politely by saying “excuse me ma’am”. I am a frequent united flier. Furthermore I have scoliosis and I’m handicapped our flight got delayed by 3 furthermore I have scoliosis and I’m handicapped our flight got delayed by 2 1/2 hrs. By this time my back was throbbing and when I talked to the gentleman upfront he told me to write a letter for some type of compensation regarding everything I have been through. I recently flew LOT and Lufthansa internationally in coach (economy plus) and they provided better meals, towels for washing, more and frequent drink runs and better snacks. Overall, just a mediocre flight -- not terrible, but not good."

The staff at the gate of Dulles airport were extremely rude and difficult to deal with, which made it frustrating to try and figure out my connection situation. I missed my connection from Brussels to Paris and had to buy a train ticket for which I was not reimbursed by United. Then, on the way back from Paris, my flight was delayed 2.5 hours for the same reason. At least this time I had a direct flight. This entire experience makes me think twice about flying United again. I live in DC and it would be just as (in)convenient for me to go to BWI instead of Dulles for international flights, where there seems to be more options outside of flying United."

As a customer service, ALL companies that have any connection with airlines and travel should put this information on their website. The airline casually said, "this happens often". It should NEVER happen!"

Pros: "The quality of the food in the meals was good, and I really enjoyed the small tub of Belgian chocolate ice cream that was served. I was able to move into an exit row seat which was very nice for legroom."

If I hadn't, it would definitely not have been enough food. The crew was ok, not especially friendly and a bit short at times. The seats were comfortable enough. The movie selection was not bad, but the touch screens were terribly calibrated and frustrating to use."
