Cons: "The guy at the gate in france made me check my bag, he said it was due to the size but people were walking by with bigger bags and he didn't seem to care about them at all. Not sure why he singled me out. Also took my passport, which he wasn't doing for other passengers and told me to board the plane. I had to ask multiple times for him to return my passport. Not sure if it was his first day or something but it was a very frustrating experience."

So we sat for 90 minutes until the new aircraft was 'repaired'. Failed by a mile to make the connection. And I suppose I should have paid first-class fare, as then I would have made by connection?"

Cons: "Flight departed 3 hours late due to mechanical issues. We just sat in the plane while they slowly, extremely slowly, dealt with the problem. Caused me to miss my connection in Dallas, and now I have to stay overnight. American cattle car class seats are hard, small, a sorry sign of affairs for US-based airlines. Coach class used to be reasonable, but it is now just embarrassing."

Cons: "Bag drop process at CDG was long and confusing, but the staff were doing all they could to help us get through it. Bravo to them. The food could have been a little healthier (a little too much of it was high in sugar)."

It took so long, eventually they allowed people to cut in line as their flight departure times neared. 2+ hours later, I finally got to a kiosk to print my boarding pass and baggage tag, but now another line to drop off my bag on the conveyor belt. With less than 30 minutes to departure, and still haven't gone through security, I gave up and made my checked bag a carry-on as well. And then tight seats on the plane, with no individual screens (the movie played on a tiny screen 2 rows up in the aisle.)"

There was a baby sitting behind me in a parents lap kicking my seat the entire time. Less leg room and space then the last time I flew AA. The food option was mediocre."

Customs and airport (DFW) experience was very good. Baggage claim and return for connection were prompt and rapid."
Cons: "Seats were tight in basic coach. As typical at CDG airport (other than the government subsidized Air France facilities), check-in and security is a nightmare. Clearly the worst airport in the world."
