Poor communication between delta, KLM and Air France meant that I couldn’t check in online and get a digital boarding pass. Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?

That we made it to New York

Being selected for extra security because I am American was upsetting. Worst turbulence I ever experienced the pilot didn’t even try to avoid it. Finally landed stuck on the ground in the plane 50 minutes before we got to the gate. Plane landed at 420pm and I didn’t get my bag until almost 7 pm. This caused me to have to throw my suitcase away because I couldn’t make it to my connecting flight in time. Worst travel experience ever

My luggage made it to LA

The food quality was poor and the service left a lot to be desired. I asked for some water and she told me she’d be back. I waited almost an hour, then called and no one came. When I called on the second time she came with a cup half full and seemed irritated. I didn’t even bother asking for more water. They didn’t let me check in early enough to request roomier seats, even if we’d have to pay more given that my husband has knee surgery and needed the extra room. When I was finally able to ask, they were fully booked.

Finally landed stuck on the ground in the plane 50 minutes before we got to the gate. Plane landed at 420pm and I didn’t get my bag until almost 7 pm. This caused me to have to throw my suitcase away because I couldn’t make it to my connecting flight in time. Worst travel experience ever
